Hello everyone and welcome back to another minecraft video today we have a tutorial for the simple little watchtower or guards table and the medieval style or design i think this would work perfectly as part of a castle base maybe out and on the water or on a hill Overlooking the empire or kingdom that you might have these are the materials that you will need to build this up for yourself if you like the video go down leave a like subscribe if you’re new here and with that let’s get straight into it in order to Get started we do need the dimensions of the build so we have a 5×5 square that is marked out with a yellow and grey concrete then we have the orange sections are extra bits of stone that will come off of the side and the two spruce planks at the front Is going to be our entrance way so if we fly down we take our stone blocks now if you are going to build this in survival you may want to texture it up as we go i’m going to texture at the end but you want to use some stone Some stone bricks cobblestone and the mossy variants keeping the cobblestone and mossy variants at the bottom section and getting up into a gradient through stone bricks and to stone as you get to the top so first thing you want to do is on top of the gray and yellow concrete we want To build this up by five so one two three four five and this goes all the way around this is going to be our main base structure like i said i will do all the texturing later on for now it’s easier just for me to build it and With one block but if you’re doing in survival you may want to build up and do the texturing at the same time saves you doing it twice all right so now we have that up by five we want to take the middle three on each one of the sides Like this so we are skipping the corners like that and these want to go up 18 blocks High okay so you should have a tower that looks like this and this is going to be the main height of our tower obviously adding on the roof at the end so come back down and on these temporary blocks bring those up by four so one two three and four with a stair On top and do that on each one of them on all of the three sides missing out the one for our front entrance okay once you have those in place take a snow brick wall and just place one on each one of the corners of that little section And the main structure of whatever is now done and it’s time to add in the little entrance way take your barrel and place them three high one two three on top of those spruce planks not the front then place another spruce plank on top with spruce stairs upside down from the front and From the sides like that join them up with a slab in the middle full blocks going across one on top spruce there right in the middle there spruce fences on the sides of those and on the top with some spruce trap doors on top of those upside down stairs Coming down to the bottom place spruce trap dolls going around the bottom sections of our barrels and that is going to be our entrance way and we’ll add the door and things once we do the interior later on coming from the front of the tower go one block above this fence here And then break that one above that and do four blocks away so one two three four place a still there an upside down stair there with two fences in the middle do the same around this side bends in the middle and stairs going like that one two three four Like this leave out the left hand side just now we will come back to that first of all though take a spruce fence gate place it on that stair with a trapdoor above it once again do that on each one of the sides and for this one now we want to break Away two of the blocks placing a upside down stair with our fence gate and trap door like that place a fence in that section and break one more away and place a stair in like that so that one’s a little bit shorter than the rest taking your spruce fence now on top of These walls we want to build this up by eight so one two three four five six seven and eight and yet you guessed it do that on each one of the corners off this bottom section we want to add a little bit of a crane or winch Hanging out of the side of the tower here adds a little bit extra detail and looks pretty cool so from this stair here place another upside down stair with a slab then three trap doors coming from that a trapdoor up against the wall underneath that still green stone there three chains hanging down And a dark oak fence on the end and that way it looks like a little winch or pulley system that’s hanging from the side of this tower now to add in the balcony section around our tower so from the top of these fences place two full blocks of spruce planks like this Brush planks on either side with a stair underneath and stare in the middle joining them up a slab on either side like so with some trapdoors underneath the stairs hugging the wall then we want to repeat that on each one of the sides so once again two full blocks two blocks either side Some stairs underneath those and join in the middle a slab on that side that side there trap those underneath the stairs and that is the same and once again we just repeat that all the way around all right and you should have something that looks like this and now it’s time For a little bit of a tricky part so easiest way is if we use some temporary blocks so going from this block right here all the way along place some temporary blocks and then place some spruce trap doors going along and then we can break those away Do the same on each one of the sides again temporary blocks trap doors like that okay and once we have each one of those sides in place we want to come to the inside of the block and this time we want to place the trapdoors facing out like that and that Way it creates a nice little ring going all the way around once again we do that on each one of the sides and that will give us a completed balcony Moving on up to the top section now and from the very center we want to punch away four blocks one two three four place it upside down stair right there in the center once again we want to do that on all of the sides that way you can enter an exit from each One like so come to the very top now and place a ring of spruce planks going around following the stone like this place it upside down spruce there either side of those and then place two spruce fences underneath of the corner ones and you should have something that looks like this Come in with some stripped spruce logs come up by two right on top of the stone blocks Place one in the center like that you may need to place a temporary block and bring that up by two and the corners and one in the center so you have this shape bring it up once again in the middle like that finally temporary block and then bring it up by three And you should have a shape that looks like this now it’s time to texture that out a little bit by replacing some of these blocks with the spruce planks and again this doesn’t need to be any form of technique just scatter them around until it looks a little bit messed up like this Then place a spruce stair in the center of these sides here spruce fences in the corners once again spruce fences on top of each one of points here at the sides and three or sorry two on top of the very top of the tower with some spruce trap doors On the fronts and that gives a nice little finishing touch to our roof now i’m going to texture up the tower and if you have already done this portion while you’re building up then that is great so the way i’m going to do it as At the very bottom i’m going to add a lot more of the mossy cobblestone and regular cobblestone this way it creates a more wet and gray look down here in this section and then we’re going to work in some of the mossy stone bricks as well With some stone bricks coming up the top and that will go fairly high up getting less and less of the stone bricks and more of the stone as you go higher something like this with once you get to the very top maybe only a few stone bricks scattered Here and there so you have this kind of effect so i’m going to do that all the way around and then we can take a look there we go this is what we have ended up with as you can see i’ve added a lot more of the cobblestone And mossy stone and variants down at the bottom as we get up to the top it gets less and less and yet adds a nice effect and i think it works out well for this style of build so it’s time now to get the entrance put in place as At the moment we don’t have a doorway so break away three of the blocks placing it upside down spruce there right there a spruce plank in the middle creating a nice little effect and as you come inside i want to actually break away these blocks behind of the barrels and Just place in some more spruce planks replace the floor i’m going to add in just a stone and cobblestone floor something like this doesn’t need to be anything perfect but i want it to match the walls and things then place a spruce door right there that way we can get in and out And we have our entrance and without the build is now all complete for the interior all i’ve used is a ladder going up the middle to go up and down from the very top of our tower as you can see i’ve added a little path and some greenery small Trees and things out the front just to make it a little bit more settled and to the environment around it i hope that you did like the build i hope that it’s helpful for you and that you managed to follow along with the tutorial if you did like it Please go down leave a like
