Brookella – My FIRST Minecraft Castle! | Imperial SMP | Ep. 5

Hi everyone and welcome back to imperial smp today we have some building to do quite a lot actually so i’ve got my shulker boxes here and they have a few supplies in them to get us going building our fairy tale castle which at the moment looks like this but i’m

Hoping that maybe we can finish this today i’m so excited okay let’s get building And i think that might be the exterior complete i made my first minecraft castle and i didn’t use like a particular reference image for this but i did go to google images and just type in like fairy tale castle and disney castles and then based on that i just

Planned out some of the basics of the layout because honestly i had no idea how castles work and i still have no idea really let’s go on a little fly because i think it looks really cool when you’re like flying up to it so if you’re coming from over here this is

What it looks like it actually looks kind of nice from the village down here so if you’re coming from the portal you can kind of see it peeking from behind the trees i’m pretty happy with it anyway let me show you the empty interior i have not done it yet and i

Think we’ll go on a supplies mission because i run out of materials to the inside basically i’ve used this pink terracotta like a carpet going from the entrance and then i think the main part of the floor will be spruce planks and this area that we’re standing in now i

Think will be my storage area i feel like this part here could look cool like if there was a chest like this and it just like this it she’s like this and so on like going all the way out here and out here and up

I don’t know i think that’d be a good look and then we have a lot of these little rooms i don’t know what to do with all of them but i would like these two at the front on either side of the gate to be our way of getting up and

Down we might do a water elevator and then obviously we have this big middle part and i would love some ideas for what to do with this and then over here is another space set i’m not sure what to do with it i might split it into two

Like we could have some kind of diagonal wall uh would that be weird like if there’s a wall here i’m not sure but i like the division of the room so we could potentially have a big table or something here then maybe through here we could have some kind of library and

Then if we pretend that this is a water elevator and go upstairs we come out into this garden in the middle we have this room and i think that’ll be my bedroom don’t mind this random stuff this is just building supplies and then out to the left if we go around we have

This random little space in here and it goes around to down here as well and then we have another weird little space over here and then next to that there’s just this little seating area and there’s not much going on back here so i think i should get to work gathering

Some supplies for the inside let’s try to maybe get the flooring and a bubble elevator going first so i’m flying around now looking for kelp and spruce mainly i swear there’s an ocean somewhere in this direction but no like so far oh i think i know where we are yeah this

Is the ocean okay and we’ll take the kelp for our water elevator and we’ll keep going i’m actually kind of enjoying exploring oh here’s a mega tiger we can get some of the spruce wood so i collected some wood and went home to start work on my interior

But then i realized i didn’t have any soul sand to make a bubble elevator so we had a little detour into the nether i found every nether by him before the soul sand one i got some warped blocks while i was there and eventually found soul sand came home and got to work

And getting sidetracked a little bit but loris has asked to meet up with me apparently he has a bit of a business proposition that could help me with my dyes shop and he’s made this river right here connect to both of our bases so we’re going to meet up along the river

Let’s go see what he’s up to hello oh i love the boats yeah that’s great we’re good i haven’t actually um i had to like make a boat because i haven’t actually used a boat yet in minecraft in this server you put that boat right back in the water oh no no flying

Okay yeah this is such a peaceful nice boat ride boats are great they are i’ve got the perfect little rivet to like go on as well so you made it into a mesa yeah i like that um so what are you looking at just everything i’m just saying if anything’s changed

Nothing’s changed on the surface but a few things have changed but underneath the surface behind the surface okay oh wow oh this oh whoa this is cool it’s big what do you need this for absolutely nothing i don’t need any of this have you ever thought to yourself

Um right now i need lots of cactus um well actually that’s why you’re here right you need lots of cactus well yeah so i was about to say yes i have thought that to myself i don’t normally i don’t have the idea that thought but if you pop down

Here just underground it’s not the best little access way but how much do i have okay oh wow how much do you need and like is that ongoing um ongoing would be good because i don’t need much but just enough to like put some more in the shop when it runs out

But i was i don’t know if you like do you want anything in particular from me because what i was thinking is i could provide you with a color in return so like you give me green dye i give you something else how are your prices what

If there was like a a discount like a half price discount and you can have as much as you like oh yeah that did work so if you get 50 off anything at my shop i can have access to the green dye whenever you want yeah okay that works

Come to the little island thus we have arrived okay um i’m currently working on uh a way to get in well i’m working on another flying thing but i’ve i’ve planned it like an elevator okay and at this point i’m gonna pause on the audio because it got really loud but

Basically we went on like a flying machine elevator and i’ve never actually been on any flying machine in minecraft before so that was a first then after that i grabbed some of my free cactus and headed back home we’re back at the castle and we’ve made some progress on getting the floor done

As well as some elevators so we’ve got this bubble lift up it’s kind of an awkward shape in here for this but it’s fine and then on this side we have a quick drop down like that but next if we go back up again i kind of want to work on the bedroom

Which is through here i think we could get this decorated today so obviously we need a bed which can go right in the middle here and we’ll kind of build and decorate around it i’m going to start by sorting out this roof because it is ugly

If we line it with upside down stairs and then fill it in it should be a lot nicer And the bedroom is done i was actually trying to record the process but obs said no and messed up my footage so we’ll just do a tour now so come in and to the left we have this little table and this has tiny melons on it which of

Course are a modded thing while i was building the castle a wandering trader came by with different tiny blocks so i got as many as i could and i have plans for some of them but for now melons are here then we’ve got this moss carpet i

Went for a green and pink colour scheme in this room oh yeah and there’s moss on the ceiling as well then in the middle here we have the bed with some shelving and some plantos i love these potted azaleas they’re so cool and then lastly

Over to the side of the bed we have a little wardrobe with an armor stand for clothes and some little drawers so that’s the bedroom it’s pretty small but i think it turned out pretty cozy before we finish today i have one last task that i’d like to get done and it’s

Related to these tiny blogs so i’ll show you i have a few of them back in my storage over here oh i was hoping i could get in the door there we’ve got some deepsight gold or emerald ore some melons birchwood amethyst blocks and stone bricks look

How cute they are i think i might put a couple of these ones in front of my mind’s entrance like if we go over here maybe one here and one in here somewhere like just here oh yeah they’re so cute look at them but anyway that’s not what

I was going to do what i am planning is that i would like to get other different mini blogs and i’m wondering if other people on the server will be into this too where anyone can come along and leave a tiny block and take one so it’s basically a trading system which should

Allow all of us to get a variety of little blocks so let’s grab some wood and build it we want some oak trap doors for the wheels oh that was a weird noise zombie converting to a drowned and we should be good to go we just need to

Find a spot for it this might be enough room if we just make it really small i’ve never made a little cart in minecraft before so i’ll be using a reference image and i’ll link it in the description so these are gonna be the wheels and the dirt is temporary

And i’m gonna have a go at using birch if it doesn’t look good we’ll change it and then the front can be here and we’ll strip it we’ll put some trapdoors on top and we’ll cover the back and the sides with signs like this we can add a chest

Here and we’ll need some random stuff back here maybe a crafting table will do for now then we have these trapdoors along the back then we just need to show off a couple of our little blocks and it’s all finished so now hopefully when people come through the portal they’ll
