material Gathering list that we got to go through today and that’s that’s pretty much the whole goal I have all the what is a DI that’s a typo That was supposed to be Dimension and I didn’t even notice so here we are why is the long weekend in North America uh in the US it’s Labor Day weekend so Monday is a holiday and then I heard earlier this week that there’s also a holiday this weekend in Canada that’s for a 3-day weekend which sounds Familiar to me so I don’t know uh if any Canadian viewers are in here and they can clarify on what the weekend is but yeah it’s a it’s a little 3-day weekend over here it’s going to be fantastic and uh we’re starting off a great Friday of a very cold morning September 1st here we are brand new month yeah Labor Day weekend in the US oh my gosh ja thank you so much for the 16 months Smiles right back atcha thank you very much for the for all the support uh play Pocket Edition Minecraft Pocket Edition type if you want to have Hardcore Pocket Edition I feel like with Hardcore Minecraft is just asking for problems because it’s so much easier to die with those controls than not and I Bedrock has a lot of work to do before they they get a hardcore Edition because there’s a lot of weird bugs that just make you Die like you’ll just be going and doing something and then you just like that there’s a lot of issues with like flying an elytra and randomly it’ll just be like you hit the ground too hard and you’ll just be you’ll still be like I’m 100 blocks in the air I haven’t touched Anything uh so yeah I don’t know I don’t know if it’s a good idea you can always play hardcore yourself just create a rival world put it on hard difficulty and if you die once delete the world you that’s Hardcore Minecraft you can yeah you can die in loading screens I mean You can do that in Java too as Bedrock player I can confirm yeah yeah yeah it is what it is Jenny thank you so much for the 11 months oh my tree is about to hit a gross B we’re tried just playing the game better I don’t I don’t know what to tell you if you just if you can’t I don’t know you just that’s a skill issue frankly I I think that’s really like a uh Lucia thank you so much for the six Months homemade lasagna and a flip stream is a is there a better way to finish up a stress you know I feel it I feel it we made chili yesterday and by we I mean Sid uh and she started it in the crockpot at like before lunch so the House just was smelling so good the entire day that was that was nice last night just so much good food but you know here we are can’t play Survival Minecraft I feel like it restricts my building to meet you I mean yeah there’s I feel like survival Minecraft makes building a little bit More difficult because obviously you only have what’s in your inventory but you can always creative plan and then come in that’s what I do that’s why I find helps me a lot um but I find survival Minecraft also helps you come up with more unique ways of doing things because you have to Think of it as like uh I have to make this work in a survival standpoint so sometimes you have to change things up and it makes a little bit of a different result but I mean if you want to play Creative play Creative it’s a great way To play Minecraft I did it for many years before I jumped into survival but here we are what’s the plan for today we got a lot of resources to gather so we should probably get on with it as um I’ve been doing a lot of pre-planning work and Here is your one teaser that you’re getting this whole stream boop boop no I’m kidding you can have a little bit long longer I got the buildings planned for the rest of the for the rest of the episode uh and uh first one here is we Need to get materials to build a boat so we’ve got a lot of materials that we need to be gathering in uh putting together in everything like this so we’ve we’ve got to basically go through this entire list today which starts with almost 500 Spruce planks uh and then We’re going to just kind of keep working down from there throw them all in some Shuler boxes and then if we get done with that one we’re going to move on to doing this one here which is also a lot of materials it’s a very different material Gathering List uh so we’re going to just have to go through all these and see what we can do so that’s what my plan is I want to just honestly normally I don’t like to just resource gather for videos on stream but I really need to get it done So I can finish the video and uh take some time off next week so that’s that’s the plan that’s what we’re doing here I’ve been doing a bunch of work since last stream I got a lot more things figured out over there and just kind of things placed yesterday I Spent the entire day creative planning that boat that you just saw took me over 3 and 1 half hours in a creative world to get finished up it was such a struggle why haven’t you uploaded PR streamed lately I don’t you’re you got To you got to fix the typos for me to be able to respond to that I don’t know what you’re asking if you’re talking about re-uploading the streams they’re all on the YouTube channel look under the live tab everything is in there all of the streams they don’t need to be Re-uploaded because they are instantly live and available right after I finish the stream you had fossils into the desert that’d be kind of fun to build a big fossil that would be kind of a fun one also um something happened here I still don’t have have a blue Axel I’m still Hoping uh we have a lot of Axel though but you might notice something’s a little missing here but if we come all the way over here there are so many axel mod that there’s not any more room for more Minecraft sounds to be added in here the Bria I’m just the bread I’m Just going to say this is not the place you want to be doing that you should not be just throwing that out on the internet and if it’s a joke I don’t want you here at all I hope it’s not a joke but if I do apologize but uh you won’t be able To we I really appreciate people not coming in here and Trauma dumping on the stream if something’s going on you need to go find a place with people we can run up and grab some sugarcane and we can start getting gathered as we’ve got a lot of stuff to do so we’re going to head up the spruce Forest first and and just uh gather a load of spruce logs cuz uh 500 Spruce Blanks is the first item that we need on the list and uh that’s that’s a lot of stuff a lot of stuff hope you’re feeling better after the break I’m taking the full break next week um so pretty much whenever I get this video finished recording is I’m taking the rest of the Week off and I should be able to get it done I was hoping to today but I don’t think it’s possible because I have those two build I have a big boat and I have a big building left to make so I just don’t think that’s quite possible um and Also tomorrow is our oneyear wedding wedding anniversary so uh we’re going out to celebrate tonight cuz we’re doing other stuff tomorrow so we’re going to I’m I’m going jump off the computer early today and we’re going to go have a nice dinner and go do some fun stuff Tonight for tip you replace Cactus with block of bamboo to save the camel’s lives yeah but the cactus is slightly smaller than a block space and it looks uh to me it looks a lot better so i’ be I’m fine with the ow with the the C’s just staying in their stalls For now we’ll see if Mojang fixes the bug or not I’m not at the point of being so annoyed by it that I’m going to use my point of contact to reach out and be like hey how y’all doing just want to let you know this bug is really annoying And it killed my camels off the food that they’re supposed to eat but I’m not at that point yet I’m not I’m not out there not there yet who knows maybe one day enough of my camels die is it new quarter starting October is it October November oh yeah I guess It is so I guess new quarter doesn’t start for another month I was wrong on that that’s okay though I don’t really care it’s back to school season right now so it’s still a the same effect of views are super super down maybe October end of October I Guess is when I’m kind of like I’m I want to start I want to start something that’ll run like the last two and a half three months of the year and we’ll probably start that about end of October I think you need a storage system when I look at You uh if you’ve been following the the series you’ll know why I don’t have a storage system but I like to live in a I like to live in my Minecraft world not my Minecraft base and there’s a very clear difference in that and the easiest way to make the difference go from Minecraft world to Minecraft base or Minecraft based to Minecraft world is to have to go to different P portions of your world to have to move around to do different things that forces you to live in the entire world around you instead of just the base that you built like I know there’s so many people that have these really longstanding worlds and they’re all about efficiency to get their projects done because they built all the technical farms and everything like that so most of what they do is just either sit in their storage room putting all The blocks together which is usually cuz they’re so massive nowadays it’s just a giant cave underneath their base and so they walk through the front entrance of their base into their storage room and then that’s it that’s their entire experience going through their base or you have your Farms that you go and Sit out and you AFK there and do all those things I don’t want to play Minecraft that way that playing Minecraft like that to me is why not just play creative mode um I guess if you’re in hardcore there’s still the threat of death but outside of that you’re basically just Playing creative mode without the ability to fly and you have to manage in inventory uh more so than you do in Creative so I don’t know I I I like living in the Minecraft world not just not just the base I built I like to build worlds I like to build cities different Civilizations throughout that’s why I spread all the Farms I make throughout the world so I have to go back to other places I mean I could have built that sea pickle farm underneath the underneath my starter house as easily as I built it in the middle of the camel Oasis a thousand blocks away but I thought going to the Oasis to get sea pickles if I need them in the future will give me a reason to go back and see the build that I made just came from the 1,000 days movie thank you we are almost on day 4,900 which means 5,000 days movie will be uh happening soonish we’re also almost at 600 likes we’re I believe we got we got 1100 people in here I believe we can get to 50% of the people liking the Stream I believe in you okay how many snacks do that get oh That’s a good amount let’s chop this next line here and that’s probably honestly uh let’s see Spruce nope that’s uh that’s two stacks trap doors we’re going to need a little bit more we’re going to need more Spruce we’re goingon to need a lot maybe I’ll just fill the can’t have any you know with haste 2 you can insta mine logs uh you cannot do that on Java Edition that does work on Bedrock though Java Edition is not quite an insta mine how do I find a place with to play with others at my level which is not Advanced but wanting to learn there’s a honestly at that point if you’re trying to learn how to play the game and you Don’t want to be on a server where everything’s kind of just like given to you starting a private server with your friends is your best bet or trying to like join a supporter server Community like the one we have but I will say the one that we have there’s a lot of people That are very advanced in Minecrafting skills there’s a lot of people who are way way more like they’re way better on the technical side of Minecraft than I am um on my own supporter server here uh but that’s one way you can do it because you’ll get a usually if you join a Server that’s public servers aren’t the most welcoming places but if you join a private server that like everybody’s there with a similar reason for being there usually you can have a much better player experience and people are more willing to help you and kind of guide You in it so that’s that’s one option but I the thing I will always say is if you’re trying to get in Minecraft you’re looking for people to play with try and get your friends to play and if you can’t get any friends to play then if You don’t like how public servers work out I would say go for the private server route which is usually a paid to get into but by paying to get into a server the maturity level on the server is instantly like 10 times higher just because everybody’s there with a reason And because most paid servers you can still get banned from and you don’t get your money back so people trolling is much lower and so you usually get a much better healthier community that way uh popados thanks so much for the Don I appreciate that when you start a New world do you go in cognizant of what World building you are looking to do or do you find it develops over time um I usually have a general idea of a biome I want to work in and then I’ll go off of that or like a general theme Like new life I knew I wanted to do more of an industrial theme to break away from the medieval fantasy if it’s a single player world I pretty much always am going medieval fantasy just because that to me is the most fun and that’s what I can do for the longest I get really bored of super modern builds or industrial builds I just I don’t have fun with them after a while so I kind of know that much going into it I have that like in my back pocket when I’m starting like that’s my build style as a content creator that’s the Build style I’m pretty much going to be doing for the rest of my channel will grow and evolve it over time because building with FIP original survival world was medieval fantasy but as far as like where things are placed and stuff like that I I don’t pick where builds go Until I’m actively making the build I might say okay that desert was off to the West I want to build a desert city out there eventually but everything that we’ve been making in terms of new Papyrus here we that’s been built on the fly like nothing has been pre-planned Outside of like an hour or two before I actually build the thing in the world so that’s that’s kind of the round that I go because I find that if I pre-plan too much and I plan out everything regarding a build and where it’s all going to go one I get Overwhelmed and two I spend so much time pre-planning that then I don’t have the energy to build the thing so to get in there and actually make the thing I find if I plan a little build a little plan a little build a little I kind of evolve And do that the extent that I will plan major sections is you’ll see like in the some of the draw overs I’ve done in the videos where I’ve been like yeah we want to building here we want this like if you look at the one where we built the Farmland region you’ll see that draw over that I did of like dividing the fields and having the little positions for the windmills and things like that that was as much as I’ll do for like rough planning an area just in my head to get an idea to get rid of that fear Of am I placing the first block in the right position and all you need to do for that to do that same thing is you fly up into the sky you take a screenshot looking down and then you go into something like paint or photoshop or any like you can go into paint.net You don’t even need to download your computer you post that image on there and you just start drawing over the top of it of where you want things to go I recommend adding a new layer so you don’t accidentally erase your image that you your screenshot you have but you can Do that and it’s a really good way to like get the general idea because I I do think one of like the hardest parts about building and everything in this game is placing the first few blocks being like oh is this where I want to do It or do I want to do a block to the left do I want to do it over here no okay so you just kind of got to get in there start what’s your video card I have a 4090 right now Seattle built PCS I partnered with them they hooked me up With a amazing computer they’re a really cool company uh we’re partnered with them too so if you’re looking for a PC think they Shi US Canada and Mexico Maybe have you seen axium I have yeah I haven’t messed around with it yet I I want it to be a little bit more developed before I start getting in There but it does Common um and then here is Generation here is appearance performance and then shaders I haven’t changed anything are you I can turn on shaders but I I prefer Minecraft without shaders to be honest I like shaders for screenshots but that’s that’s about it what day are you on almost 4,900 uh uh tiie I haven’t had any problems with launching it at all so not going to be able to help you out there space for everybody and the only way we can do that is if we understand the messages you are writing how do you keep motivation uh being a job is a very important part of that I’ve always said that even if I Wasn’t doing this as a full-time job I would still be playing Minecraft like on a weekly basis for sure but the reason why I do the projects as big as I am doing is because it’s my job and it’s would be not fair for me to say oh yeah You just do no I I think it’s that and also I I really like having a creative outlet and Minecraft has turned into that for me where I I love to draw I love to create I love to to do things and so being able to do that in the game helps Me kind of keep moving on it and kind of keep coming up with new ideas and going forward with it so I was always the kid in school that was doodling on everything all of my notes that I took in class during grade school was mostly Doodles less notes probably didn’t Wasn’t great for the grades but you know it is a thing so that that was like a big thing for me and I always just love doing that but as far as the Minecraft Like The Grind of Gathering Room resources clearing the space and everything like that focusing On it being like a small step in like the total project to get everything done is like a I found very helpful for me of being like okay if I get this done if I spend an hour here that’ll be all of the digging I need to do more like answer I Am learning to become a better Builder and I consider your hardcore series and master class in building I appreciate that thank you very much very kind of you um but yeah motivation wise and things I I think it’s okay to acknowledge that you don’t want to do Things and that you want to break and that is a very healthy thing to say that’s kind of a point that I’m in right now is I don’t feel fully burned out but I feel like if I keep going with what I’m doing right now I’m going to get Burned out so I’m I’m at a point right now where I’m making the active decision to take a week off and take a break and step away from things for a bit so I mention it already but next week we might stream next Friday maybe I’m not going to let myself stream Wednesday Um and I’m I’m just going to take it all off I’m debating by the way has anybody in chat bought Starfield yet has anybody is anybody over here one of the super dedicated people that bought the Early Access Starfield and is playing on PC cuz I want to know if it’s worth it But I was not going to drop $100 for 5 days of early access to a video game that I don’t even know if it’s going to run well I already got burned doing that on Diablo I’m not doing it again your Empire sees cave so inspiration and Walk around the world download an awe yeah that was a fun that had a lot of fun making that build that was a good build I wish I was able to add a little bit more to it but the collab we did with hermitcraft unfortunately took a Lot of steam out of Empires itself so I think a lot of people on Empires were hoping to do more in the world and then we just kind of got a little burnt out after the collab it was a lot more work on our side than We thought it was going to be and then we because of how long the timing took we weren’t able to like fully like dive into the other side so we I think our energy was a little sapped only $30 if you have ultimate yeah but you have to buy the $70 game to Begin with and then you have to buy the $30 add-on so it comes out to it’s $999.99 on Steam to get access to it right now and I’m not dropping that how fantasy is your world do only humans live there are there other races too Well we have the The Village or cave is meant to be a Dwarven cave we also have a giant world tree that’ll be fixed soon this place here is largely a human civilization the desert is probably largely human civilization um we’re going to have more themed areas In I kind of want to do an Elven area eventually because I’ve always wanted to do that but I’m so worried about doing that that I I’m not too sure yet but we’ll see eventually I do want to have some more fantasy races but it’s just a Little bit I don’t know since we can’t have like people actually moving around in the world I just kind of tend to leave it up to the player imagin or the viewer imagination of what race lives there so if you think this is like a Place that’s going to have a mix of a bunch of different fantasy races like you’d see like a Stormwind in World of Warcraft or something like that where all of the different groups are are living in there from the alliance and whatnot blah blah blah I’ve been playing too much Wow it’s been so fun what race built the Airship uh we don’t really have a big Airship yet oh are you talking about the star Trader Airship yeah we got to get that up there soon Goblin area or orc cave I kind of want to recreate a small Section of gobl land I think that’d be fun just to add into the world here but then I’m also like I don’t want looked up that I don’t have It you strip logs because of light matica yeah it just makes it easier to place them in you can middle Mouse click to select it off light matica it helps okay spruce we need more Spruce see this is why we gathered so much Spruce Wood still not enough I bet you all were like yeah there’s no way you’re using all that Spruce it’s Basically half of what we gathered are your opinion on light Matic at easy place mode I think it’s fine I think it’s fine if it’s something that allows you to just place a block in there are there are ways that you can abuse light matica easy place that you Can use the way I don’t like it is if you use light matica easy place to place a block state that is not even possible to achieve in Survival Minecraft like you can use light matica easy place to place in debug sticked modes of blocks so like if you’ve seen how BDubs does The thing where he puts the glass panes get a wall to stick out and you can do that with a dbug stick without the glass pane being in there and then you can use light matica you can create a schematic of that bring it in and put it in your World and then you can use the you can use easy place to put it there and it’ll put it in that same block state if you’re in single player it doesn’t work on multiplayer but that to me is cheating because that’s not possible in the game you’re using mod to make Something happen in game that’s not possible and to me that’s a little much anything outside of that though I think is totally fine Oak also if you’re playing single player who gives a who gives a rip creative mode to get a boat that’s half decent dude if you if you could use the Stone cutter to strip logs I feel like it’s coming I I’ll be honest I think it’s I think it’s going to happen we need two stacks I think it’s going to happen because if you look at where things are going with stripped logs now being used to craft hanging signs That makes it so awful to make hanging signs like compared to before it’s just it’s really rough take those and we can make one of those and we’re good so making hanging signs you have to place the log down and then you have to go back and then you have to strip it And then you have to come back again and you have to mine it up and then you have to put it in the crafting table that’s how you make hanging signs not even to count that you need to go get iron to make the dang Sign so I I think I think there’s hope for the future because I think Mojang is going to realize how annoying the crafting recipe is for hanging signs so they’re going to make a quicker way to strip logs are the materials for the boat they Are for the boat you all going to know what blocks are going to the boat okay what other things do we need we need a bunch of mang gr yeah we need a stack of 55 okay I ran the mangrove tree farm for a little while this morning friends we’re almost to 1,000 Likes we can do it I believe leave a like if you haven’t already thank you stripp yeah I think a wood cutter block is a good addition so much of the village in Minecraft is made out of wood but there is no villager profession that deals with wood so what villager made the village that villagers live in Riddle me of that riddle me of that Mojang need a lumberjack I feel like a carpenter is a better one cuz I think a lumberjack people would assume that it’s going to trade you logs where I think if you could have a carpenter that would trade you random Materials granted I think it’d be the most overpowered villager thing so I think it would need to have to trade slabs trap doors stairs fences fence gates and that’s it it does not trade full planks it will only trade a specific type and it will not trade much I think That is the that’s the best way they could do a a villager thing for it like like it it like the second you get a uh 20 Roots 16 points the second you get a Minecraft villager that trades logs there’s so much of the ability to play this game without villagers just Gone the if if we had a villager that could trade like build block like um words are hard words are hard words are hard yeah the the amount of grinding that would no longer need to be done inside this game if they literally just made it So that there was a villager that traded you logs I think would be a big Miss for mcraft 34 stairs 34 stairs just do this 40 stairs you minutes to build if I I’m assuming we’re talking about the same Farm but that thing literally takes like four or five minutes to build the entire Farm why are you even bothering with that it gives you unlimited string and all you’re Doing is sitting there AFK waiting for it to come in why don’t you just save yourself the AFK time and just give yourself string that if you if there’s a duping farm that does something like that I’m like why why did you even bother doing this just you’re it’s already basically Cheating just cheat more if you’re going to cheat just cheat the right way like go all out why not okay how many gr Stones do I need 12 Oh I thought it was slaps it’s full blocks are you not get burnt out easily I do I just learn how to take breaks I’m Definitely I I think it’s one thing that you see a lot of content creators just posting constantly um and a lot are like oh just do this you’ll never get burned out no we definitely do get burned out it’s just the ability to hold it off or redirect your energy to keep moving Forwards I think taking a break and moving on to different projects is a very important way to avoid burnout like I’m taking next week off because I’m starting to feel burned turned out and like I just I need a break I need I need I need a little bit of a break away from everything or we need a stack a little over a stack of white wool are you okay with gravity block dupers dude that’s the same thing if you hook up a four-sided gravity block duper to an end portal you are getting you’re Getting hundreds of thousands of sand in an hour why why even bother that again that farm takes less that takes less than an hour to set up one of those the the Simplicity of those designs now they’re so easy to make I I don’t know it’s to me it’s just like a Why even bother at that point uh let’s go get some deep site we need to go do a little bit of mining have you ever tried Ultra Hardcore I don’t find it fun I don’t play Minecraft to be super challenged I play Minecraft because I love to build things I play Minecraft because I want to create create things I want to live in a world and kind of keep it all going I do enjoy regular hardcore mode because it adds the stakes and it does give me a natural resetting point if there’s ever a death It just means I can reset and pick new projects and kind of experience that day one energy again which is fun it’s really I enjoy that time that’s one of my favorite times in Minecraft but I also really love the long End Game World so Ultra Hardcore I think is just making It difficult for for no reason that I would gain I know some people love it and I think it’s cool but it just turns into how many golden apples can I keep on me so I don’t know I don’t see Ultra Hardcore as actually being that difficult after like the first 30 Minutes of surviving once you get your first few golden apples you’re your Ultra Hardcore is the same thing as hardcore your food supply is just different all right we got to get a few stacks of deep slate here I know I don’t have a beacon setup but it’s Fine have you ever played half hearted hardcore same exact reason there I just don’t find it’ be fun you mention hardcore while last stream you just self-impose rules for that no there’s official hardcore World of Warcraft servers that released last week so you don’t need to make your own Rules there was a community with that was running an add-on that was had self-imposed rules that I just thought were stupid restrictive so I didn’t play with that but the official servers are really fun the community side of it has been so cool it’s like old school RPG MMO Vibes so everybody’s out there trying to fully gear up I’m playing a priest right now so everybody’s coming over and asking me for Buffs or asking if I can go heal them and keep them protected while they’re running around doing their things everybody I run Across like comes over and just like it so many people want to group more it’s the game is the community behind it has been so much more fun than any other world war craft I’ve played and it’s been really nice to have like a slow version of It World of Warcraft the like retail version is just so past like so fastpaced that I can’t keep up sored playing bre and Crusade expansions yeah bre and Crusade is the one that I’ve just never really played I played it as a like when it first came out as a kid But I didn’t really do any raiding or anything like that is ultra Hardcore Minecraft ultra Hardcore I at least the way I remember it is basically hardcore mode and your hearts don’t regenerate so the only way to regenerate is drinking healing potions or eating golden apples number one tip for custom leaves Keep space between trees keep space between leaves uh yeah I think that’s right you want to make it Airy you want to make it look natural I think the number one tip for custom trees go look at trees outside and try and design those or go look at Pictures of trees and try and design from that uh don’t don’t just be like yeah I know what a tree looks like in my brain I’m going to make that we’ll look at actual trees oramar and oros are empty in shadowlands which that’s some NPCs I mean yeah that’s a old expansion Anything that’s an old expansion World of Warcraft has no players in it nobody’s there anymore touching grass no you can look up pictures on internet of trees you don’t need to go outside just do a Duo hardcore with one of your friends that type of stuff would Be fun to do we did it on the 30-day SMP back in January was live stream onlyp touch who knows maybe La Resurgence I feel like multiplayer Minecraft is in a really Weird point right now it’s just it’s just off nothing in multiplayer seems to be working like views wise or anything like that like all multiplayer series that me and friends have been doing and things like that are all like just not doing as well as single player series and I it’s one Of those things that I feel like we built this we built build large communities around it and everything like that and like there’s so many people who absolutely love things like Empires and whatnot but the viewers and so if I need to toggle Sprint I press T and it’s because my middle finger is always Holding W down and then my right finger is always um not doing anything unless I need to hit D to turn to the side or move to the side but I I kind of turn with my mouse mostly so it’s not really that in use so I was like okay well I Can be there to hit shift or Sprint if I need it so I don’t know the way I do keybinds is very weird a lot of people are like why do you do that I’m like it’s because it’s what makes sense to me and I’ve Been doing it since I was like five I’ve been playing video games my only trees I allow myself to Auto Farm well I guess we have a bamboo Farm now too um but is the nether trees and mangrove trees just cuz they are such a pain in the butt to chop and outside of that uh I like chopping trees I like spending the time to go out in the world to the different places I mean that’s why you don’t see me with like a tree farming zone right here next to my base where I just grow all the different tree types I like going to the biomes Where they spawn in and bringing those back that’s like a big part of Minecraft for me is material Gathering and just being here experiencing the world so I know a lot of this stuff all of what we’re doing here I could probably get done in if I built all the auto farms And spend the hours to do that I could get this done easy like this would this would be no problem at all but I prefer to play the game in the slower fashion I definitely could speed things up I definitely there’s a lot of things In Minecraft that I could be doing a lot more efficient than I do them and I just choose not to I eventually we’ll build different Auto farms and all that type of stuff but I feel like it’s not it’s not my preferred way of playing The game so why do it okay so we need four 40 warped slabs we need 40 warped hanging signs there’s a stack of warp trap doors chilling in there the heck was I doing 40 six would 36 is sixs oh we need 42 42 sorry as I’m just staring at the ceiling Thinking 42 of these boys so that we can make hanging signs these are all the steps you need to go through to make hanging signs isn’t this fun are we having fun yet are we having fun making hanging signs also I don’t think I’ve ever built with Built with warp stem non stripped I still don’t think I maybe I did something in Empire season 1 players to play the Game yeah I mean I I I don’t think I do that 100% I think there’s still more that the devs see like there’s still farms in here that I make that the devs probably weren’t planning to have in the game but it does doesn’t mean that they’re bad or That they’re wrong or that it’s not the way to play the game I think everybody who focuses on how Minecraft devs want you to play the game is that the devs made a Sandbox game there is no right way to play Minecraft and that’s the best part about This game is that there is no right and wrong way to play I can build an entire stupid massive tree like this for a glow Len Farm the middle I’m sure the devs were not expecting that to happen sandbox games are never defined by here’s how you should play the game Outside of hey you should probably use a pickaxe to chop Stone if you want to also use a pickax pickaxe to chop your trees down that’s fine too it’s just going to be a little slower so it’s it’s one of those things where like the more you play video games and things like And the more sandbox games are created I think the reason Minecraft wins so well against so many other sandbox games that are out there that arguably are good games but they fail because they force so many rules on you Minecraft doesn’t really Force many rules on people at all Like there’s really nothing you’re being forced to do in this game that you would you wouldn’t be a like I was of having to eat there’s really nothing that’s actually forced upon you in Minecraft and even you don’t have to eat unless you’re playing on hard difficulty You could walk around with no hunger like no hunger bar and you could still fully play the game You’ just be slow but I don’t know I think that’s one of the reasons why Minecraft succeeds so well there’s definitely like way way that the devs imagined people playing The game but it doesn’t mean that they you’re being forced to play that way ay with the one year at tier two look at that that doesn’t sound that bad I Could clear the forest and I just remember seeing him do it and just being like wow that’s so cool like that’s so crazy you did that how Minecraft has changed give me real nobody makes me bleed out I love that movie Mars I I was talking to my brother a While ago actually whoever was asking for favorite movie earlier on I was talking to my older brother a while ago and our dad growing up loved the DodgeBall movie I it was one of the only movies that we had for a long time on DVD and we had like we had one of the in the car where like you had the flip down movie step but the emerald farm that I use this is an En x04 design and it is stupid it is So dumb um I don’t want to go to it and run it because it takes a while to warm up but this thing here has if you run this for like 15 minutes all of these all of these double chests will be full of ammo like look at all the gunpowder in there Look at all those totems and everything this is the most absurd Farm you’ll ever have when’s the next video should be out Thursday now that we got all the materials for it it’s a little bit easier to get that moving cuz all I got to do now is build the Things upgrade the storage on yours yeah I’ve thought about it I I don’t need to run it that long if I ever have that many emeralds I need to go spend them oh right that’s not the portal Portal’s over here happens we do need to go repair These Wings though to the Wither Skeleton Farm uh one the first material list we going through today is for a big boat the second is for the first structure in the city also in regards to good wither skeleton farms and bad wether skeleton Farms this Wither Skeleton Farm bad all The work I did here worthless could have built the xo4 is with SC Farm yeah would it be like 10 times better Definitely you have the same one yeah no it’s fine this one works okay but the rates on it of this one are like a third of what you can get off the en xo4 one the portal ones are stupid any portal based Farm is going to be infinitely times better because as Soon as they phase out of the dimension and go into the Overworld or to the nether to then move new ones spawn in so you can actually get like double or triple the mob cap I don’t use an Enderman Farm I have one it just takes longer to get there already almost Done I could go to the Enderman Farm easy even on a nest meate you could have two people AFK for just a bit yeah I mean you can still use the portal base Farms on smps I believe as long as nobody is in the area and like unloading It but if it’s just you I think it still works oh we don’t need to go to that one how do you manage with time uploading playing Minecraft and ALS your day-to-day life not well no um treat it like a normal job I mean this this is my Job so I try and log off at the end of the day and not work and then I’ll start back up the next day that’s a big part of it to be honest is uh full-time content creators the biggest thing a lot of us struggle with is creating that Balance of this being my job versus this also being a hobby it’s difficult though when you have a job that the more time and energy you put into it the more reward you’re going to get out of it whether it’s more revenue or more growth or whatever it might be It is difficult to be able to tell yourself all right let’s take a step away like I’m I’m going to take a step away and take a break and take time off it’s very easy like especially in twitch streamers they have it much more difficult because if you’re not if You’re a twitch streamer full-time and you’re not live streaming you are not making money that is just a fact hi lost two ACAA logs so I that’s why I picked YouTube over twitch to be honest I could have give yourself War weeks PTO yeah I mean I Just kind of take whatever when I want it um but like I’m very okay with myself being like this Thursday don’t want to work all right we’re not working um so it’s one of those things where I I picked YouTube because if you’re if you upload a YouTube video it is out there Forever I like the idea of Twitch streaming sounds the simple idea of being a full-time streamer and just waking up in the morning and booting up a stream and doing that because on stream you can get away with long-term projects of just sitting there and grinding and it Doesn’t matter what you’re doing if your audience is in there then it’s fine but the second you get into the YouTube side there’s very much a drive of keep it entertaining keep it new keep it fresh keep it going Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam to new new things which is Why on a lot of streams is kind of me going back on working on projects that I was working in videos a little while back that we didn’t quite get finished that is everything lanterns and scating okay so for me uh like a lot of the live streams we’ll do is just Working on the detail along the riverbed like we did that and then I came back and and added the trees last night cuz I was bored um but yeah so I don’t know I kind of think if I were to go full-time streamer mode that’s when I would be like considering myself Retiring from YouTube or retiring from being a content creator of like just hopefully don’t have to worry about money anymore and get just boot up and play and do whatever I want okay there’s those and that is everything for this guy which means both Are ready to go and I just got to get building but I I don’t think I have it in me right now if I still needed to be worry about growing and everything which I do want to keep the Channel Growing and everything but I don’t think I have It in me to do full-time streaming I wouldn’t be able to do videos too but I also like philza did that I mean Phil yeah Phil doesn’t really upload videos anymore but he also doesn’t need to Bill like he’s doing fine he’s got what like 30 th000 twitch Subs or something like that 20,000 oh C pickles you’re right thank you so Phil’s doing okay he’s he’s not hurting for money if you ever go into his stream it’s just constant Dono train I’m also not saying I’m hurting either like I’m very thankful for the position I am right now but there’s Still like there’s always that level of you go up on YouTube to the next level of like the next tier of Creator growth and whatever and the revenue numbers between those is just insane cuz for example when I was live streaming on Twitch when all the twitch Leaks came out I was still streaming on there and so many people were looking at the leak that I had of being like me being the 4,000th top paid streamer or whatever it was in there or some number like that and people like oh my god look how much Money he’s making and I’m like okay yeah if you scroll up a little bit more to the 3000 top streamer versus me at 4,000th they’re making twice if not three times as much what I’m making and then you go up to the 2,000 and again they’re making like four times what the 3,000 is making and then you get up into the 1,000 and like you get up there like even farther up the amount of Revenue like we were all technically all in the top Point 1% on Twitch but you get into that 0.1 and just the absurdity and that Difference is it’s huge and then you look at everybody you’re else like what about the other 99.9% you’re like oh actually they’re who those who are doing that full-time streaming are working for more or less minimum wage but I don’t know it’s one of those things where streaming streaming is just So volatile it’s not something that I think I could do full-time I like the security of videos and them just being out there and I I like the ability on videos you can play with the algorithm more streaming you really just have to like hope people stop by and then want to stick Around whereas YouTube videos you can really tailor it and win the algorithm more easily I remember that those twitch leaks it was so so ridiculous that people are mad about the money especially for streamers that publicly have thousands Subs yeah I mean I’m not really hiding there’s my member number right There it’s it’s been there for the entirety of the stream it’s been there for months so I I don’t really really hide that I I don’t really see any reason behind it so but I also don’t be like here’s my YouTube pay stub because it’s just going to be weird and no Matter what it’s doesn’t matter what the number is where it is like it’s going to be a weird situation so I just don’t share that it’s the same thing like at my last job I wasn’t walking around being like here’s how much I make how much are you making I mean I think In the workplace it’s important to talk about those things and like make sure everybody’s getting paid fair but like you don’t go to a bar and be like random person how much money do you make because this is what I make that’s just weird I’m gonna see myself on TV oh my Gosh look at you all right I’ll tell you what chat I think I’m G to get working on this cuz um I got some work
