Hey hey what’s up youtube in this video i’ll be showing you how to make an easy version of the mr beans house from the show mr bean if you enjoy this tutorial please do remember to hit that like button as that would really help me and The channel out very very much oh and by the way the car aka mr bean’s car will not be in this tutorial but i do have a separate video of it on the channel you can check out in the card system and the description below without any further Ado let’s get started before we begin building here are all of the materials that we are going to be using please make sure that you have all of those and enough of them as well mr bean’s house requires a 16 by 32 block area to make Please if you’re not sure if you’ve got enough room to build this make the grid and it will help you out immensely pause the video if you have to make sure that you have absolutely everything sorted out and once you do we can begin so step One come all the way to the front left hand corner of your grid if you’ve not made the grid don’t worry just wait a moment count to the right one two three and then inwards one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen and if You’ve made the grid if you’re a grid maker then this is where we start building start with ten tarot cards coming up from the ground one two three four five six seven eight nine ten i want you to extend the tenth block to the right by four one two three four Extend towards you by two one two after extending those two blocks towards us i want you to do this maneuver four times i want you to go right up that’s once right up that’s twice right up three times right up that’s four times and then underneath the top i want you To go right down right down right down right just like that so you have the same shape on both sides connect the block all the way down at the bottom here just connect all the way down to the ground and i’m also going to ask you to extend The opposite side here down to the ground as well because that is quite important like that perfect now we’re going to come back to the row of 10 that we built earlier which is here and we’re going to work on the shape here as well i want you to take This block at the top and i want you to extend it left up five times so that would be the first of course left up twice left up that’s three times left up that’s four times left up that is five times and now we’re going to take it back down Again so this block away from the top we’re going to go left down left down left down left down left and you will see just like on the front we make the same shape and we’re going to extend this shape all the way down to the ground as well just On the end here as a matter of fact there’s no detail on this side of the build so if you so wish you can actually fill the entire side in here using terracotta we might as well fill the easy sides in as we’re building along and then it Seems as though that we have a lot less to do later on smart thinking so once we have got this side filled in we are going to make the back of the house and the opposite side it’s all very easy now that you have done that i want you to take the button Of the house and i want you to extend it coming across the back and we are going to use a right angle to connect it all the way back to the front of the house like this we’re also going to use a couple more techniques we’re going to take the top Of the house here on the front and we’re going to extend it backwards and down connect it to the back corner and we’re also going to take that corner and extend it across and connect it to that opposite side what’s also important is that on this Side of the house we have that same triangular shape that we have on the opposite side so if we want to do that we can literally just copy it from over there we start here and we place a terracotta and we go left by one two three four five six seven eight We’re matching the other side now and then we slowly but surely add rows of terra cotta on top of this until we match what we have on that opposite side like that now we’re going to fill the right and back parts of the house in using Terracotta if you would like to you can add extra features however i will point out that if you’ve watched the cartoon and i’m sure that you guys have this right side here is actually connected to another house so there’s no details on this side of the house it doesn’t make Any sense on the back of the house you might want to add perhaps a small back door or perhaps a couple of windows or something to make the house a bit more eerie however it’s not often that you actually see all of that detail anyway So whether or not you want to add those little bits of detail is indeed your choice however where there is lots of detail is on the front so why don’t we go about adding it i think that we’re going to start with the big part on the front right side of the Build i want you to take this front right corner block here this one that’s kind of sandwiched in between the left and right side and i want you to place two terracotta going right one two and then we’re going to place a terracotta on top of this With a quartz slab on top of that we’re going to extend the quartz slab to the right by two one two and place two loads of glass on top one two place quartz slab on top of the glass and place terracotta behind the quartz slab extend the terracotta upwards a row Place a quartz slab coming out of the top right corner of the terracotta extend it a row left and place two rows of blue glass on top we’re going to place quartz slab on top of the glass and we also want to have a window just To the right of this but it’s a little bit different it’s it’s different in this way if you extend this terracotta behind the window to the right by one two and then upwards on top of this place to glass one two place a little quartz slab lip underneath the window like that it’s Built into the house then if you want to do this when it’s probably a bit easier from the inside perhaps i want you to fill the remaining area inside of this front large part of the house in using tarot carton now however you want to do this is Completely up to you but i will remind you not to fill in any blocks in the windows so don’t place any blocks behind the glass and just focus on the blocks of course around them like that and you should be perfectly fine so like now there we go that looks great well done Next i want you to make this wall here i want you to fill it in using terracotta so the wall that connects the entrance to the large front part of the house that we just detailed extend it back we’re also going to it might be easier To fill the entire wall in here using terracotta and we can cut out the parts that we’re not going to need so just fill it all in with terracotta and we’ll work with the blank space in the bottom right corner in the crevice between like the front and the Little entrance here i want you to place a block of quartz extend it left two take the middle place quartz stairs in front quartz block left quartz block right i’m going to destroy a double row here and inside place a door that’s where the door goes Left and right of the door place quartz block in front of it destroy above the door and place blue concrete inside place sideways facing outward facing sideways facing quartz stairs above the door with quartz slab in between the two stairs like that additionally there is a window So the window is uh it’s quite easy to place we want to leave a gap of one two above the middle of the door and then destroy i think it’s one two here yeah there we go so we leave one two destroy two glass inside quartz slab underneath Which will give us this sort of effect and once again very well done because that is a large portion of the roof complete or the house complete i should say we are segueing into the roof which is probably why i just blurted that out so the edge of the roof Is quite simple okay but we’re not going to focus on the edge of the roof yet we’re going to focus on the inner part of the roof we’re going to place never brick stairs on the sides of the roof so coming along the sides of the shape Of the roof like this we want to have never brick stairs and just to give you a good representation of this we want to of course i mean and this is going to be very innate this is going to be a very natural roof it’s the exact same sort of roof that You would expect you want to have nether brick coming up and down all of the triangular parts of the roof and if you start off by doing that it should be quite easy to see that you then of course have to simply connect them together the front of the house is the greatest Challenge as not only do you have to connect left and right especially uh when it comes to the middle just on the front but you also have to connect it to the front part so that is the hardest part the back is very simple you simply connect the uh front The left and right side to the back you don’t have to content with the front part but it should be quite easy once you’ve gotten across the lower rows of never break and once you have conquered that part you should see how it all goes together rather simply And here’s the thing here’s where it gets a bit more complicated so the edge of the roof along the side of the house is to be made out of quartz block the quartz block overhangs the roof and the house one row and you want to have quartz block on the Ends of the never parts and when you get to the apex of the roof meaning the highest part wherever it might be you want to place quartz slabs so quartz slams at the top quartz stairs on the sides like this and that comes as far down as here it Gets a bit confusing on this particular side but i’m sure that you guys will manage it and of course quartz stairs poking out of the front here as well it’s it’s quite easy to do once once you get rolling it should be quite innate also we’re going to have a strip of Quartz stair quartz slab coming across the top right there which makes sense because that is the apex of that particular roof stick a quartz block underneath it and upside down stairs underneath the climbing part of the roof that’s why i call it the climbing part of the roof is the part where it’s Ascending and of course we’re going to have a similar thing on these sides underneath the climbing parts we have upside down stairs underneath the top part we have the block of quartz and we are going to do the same on this side however we haven’t finished the roof have we we do Also have the back to do but this being the most important part once you have done the front like you’ll be able to conquer the back part of it very easily so now that we have done the roof then we are also going to just add the quartz stairs coming down like this Here and here it’s going to come across the back this is the easy part ladies and gentlemen we started with the hard part that’s my personal favorite preference get the hardest part taken care of and then the rest of it is very very easy i also i don’t know how you Guys like to work i like to do things in a particular phases meaning if i’m going to do all of the quartz stuff i’d like to get the court stuff done all in one go kind of contradictory to what i’ve done in this video but i wanted to Represent to you how you might do the roof but typically speaking i’d like to get all of one particular block knocked out and away and then that allows us to focus on things categorically as they come up but that is what the house looks like once it’s been complete and Actually looks like a nice suburban house really it’s quite an easy little build and you could even use it as an actual house in your own cities if you wanted to i might add it’s a mind i’m currently building anyway once you have completed the house we do have more Things to do for instance there is a wall that comes out the front right side of the house we take this bottom corner block here we use terracotta and place seven blocks towards us one two three four five six seven we extend left by eight one two three four five six seven eight Extend up by one and then in the ground i want you to dig one two three four five six you’ve dug a little bit of a pathway here we’re going to place a terracotta on the end of the path here and we’re going to extend the tarot card backwards one two three four Five six seven eight nine ten connect it to the wall of the house using blue concrete extend the blue up an additional row place terracotta on the side of the blue making as high as the terracotta and flare the first block forward like this i want you to extend the terracotta wall Backwards and around the house you can extend it back as far as you like depending on how much of a back garden you would like i would make the wall two rows high at least two rows high maybe even a little bit higher it completely depends what you want to do With mr bean’s back garden now that you have created the wall and parameters of which we can build the garden we are going to focus on the path there is a path that leads from between these two walls here that leads directly to the entrance the path is three rows thick Leading to the entrance however the past purpose is not only to lead you from to the entrance from the street it also leads you around the back of the house so we’re going to take these two end rows i accidentally destroyed an additional row but it’s no big deal Because it has to be destroyed anyway these last two rows are going to be dug out and they will lead us to our garden which we’re not building in this video because there’s not really too much to build but we want to have a path that Should look like this and whilst we have our stone slabs out i’m going to build a street path or a pavement this is more commonly known sidewalk whatever you want to call it it’s up to you this is simply going to be two rows of stone slabs directly out of the front of The house like this coming across left to right like that kind of like a an upside down t-shape that kind of that kind of actually looks like a chair now that i look at if you look at just the stone slabs anyway i’m getting distracted now that we’ve done that we Are going to garden a little bit more and speaking of other things as well if you want to you can create a road now for roads i like grey sometimes people like to use like black concrete and stuff i kind of like a gray because black is is Really really dark for roads but you can easily use but whatever material you’re using for roads where whether you’re building in a city or a town or whatever use three rows of material coming out of the front of the pavement weapons black grey concrete uh terracotta cyan terracotta specifically i would use Add free rose the reason being is mr bean’s car is free rose thick so you know if you want to build the car the garden is going to be dug out so all of the grass we’re going to dig out and we’re going to place lime terracotta specifically lime terracotta because i Love how it looks i wouldn’t use uh lime concrete because lime concrete is too bright and it’s honestly a little bit too jarring to look at jarring meaning it’s just like it takes the attention away from everything else i’ll show you in a second i don’t know why but i’m Feeling the need to give you a visual representation but grass is going to be replaced using some lime terracotta and if you’re feeling particularly insane if you want it to if if you want the grass to look like mr bean’s car then you might want to use lime concrete however if you If you compare them wow one of them sticks out a lot and the other is lime terracotta so i’m gonna fill this area in with lime terracotta like that and there are a few bushes around the house as well so around the garden probably doesn’t have bushes inside the House unless you count potted plants so using jungle leaves i’m going to make bushes it’s very easy to make a bush all you have to do you start with one block you place a block left right in front of it and also on top like that and if we Were able to place one behind we would too very easy way to make a bush you can do this anywhere and you can use different variations make a few bushes in the garden whatever techniques you like to use it doesn’t really matter i would personally recommend that one right there it’s Pretty good but if you had a few bushes kind of like just in the garden like that it makes it a lot more realistic and yeah guys that’s kind of the house uh if you would like to make mr bean’s car there is a tutorial it’s in the Contest in the description below carat system anyway it’s in the card system and the description below you’ll be able to find it very easily i’ll even leave you a link in the comments too but that’s the house done ladies and gentlemen i hope that you’re happy with It i think that i’m going to show you now in all of its glory so this is what the house will look like once it’s been 100 fully completed although we don’t have the car if you enjoyed this tutorial please remember to hit that like button as it would really help me And the channel out very very much if you would like to keep up
