Touching the controller and allows them to access his stuff which I can’t even open because I don’t have the knowledge but he also has his storage Network hooked up to all his chests down here as you can tell there’s link cables connected to each of the chests so he’s

Able to access all his drawers and all this us through one system and it doesn’t even require power it’s basically like a ghetto version of applied energistics and refined storage but if we look at our mods here simple storage network is only two knowledge Stars the thing is I don’t want to have

To connect up a million small chests to it but luckily there’s a mod called colossal chess where we can build like a singular huge chest to act as a buffer storage for stuff that doesn’t go in our drawers you guys think what I’m thinking

Now eh but in order to do all that crazy stuffs and things we’re gonna need three knowledge stars and luckily I’ve done some Vault runs off camera I mean just look at the aura attic it’s looking thick again and the reason for that is because I needed more Vault diamonds

Boom we got 25 volt diamonds now so let me get together all the things we need for some knowledge Stars including some satisfying Fortune we’re gonna need 48 Benny boys total so let’s hope we get it oh there’s 38. 57 okay easy with some Betty despair all right here we go three

Crafted with other link cables why because you can actually right click this guy and open it here you can select the priority this is the important part because we’re going to want items to go into the drawer if they have a slot available and then we want all the other

Items going into the Colossal chest which we haven’t built yet but I have dug out a trench with a cable here that’s leading to where I want to place the chest there’s gonna be a big colossal chesty boy right here only issue is looking at how to build this

Thing it requires four chromatic iron per chest wall and we’re gonna need 27 of these guys so yeah we’re gonna need a metric butt ton of chromatic iron and let’s go ahead and check our system and see how much chromatic iron we have we have 37 is there any in my fernail

So what do we have to do the chest interface will interface with the Link cable I mean it’s in the name so we’re gonna set it right on top of it like that next the chess score can go anywhere on the chest so let’s put it

There then we fill the the rest with chest walls now it’s very important to always leave the center of the chest Hollow or else it won’t work also you can build these even bigger than the one we’re building like these could get crazy big but we’re gonna need a lot

More chromatic iron for that so let’s go ahead and place the last piece the wooden colossal chest although it’s facing backwards oh I guess the core depends where it will face what if we put the core right here there we go and if we open it look at it it’s a giant

Chest and look at how many rows of storage I mean you can’t really tell how many rows of storage it has I’ll put in some link cables for scale like it is a ton of storage and now it’s linked up to our network with a priority of what that

Means it’s going to go to the drawers first if it can’t fit in the drawers all the extra items are going to be shoved into this massive colossal chest which means we could take all the items around the base like all this random junk which

Is a pain in the butt to fight all the items that I need and dump it in our system and we don’t have to worry about ever going into this colossal chest to try to find items for example if we put in our soft serve peppermint shield in

There we should be able to go to our request table look up soft serve and just take it out yeah so I think this is a an incredibly good early game storage solution doesn’t require any power and it could store so much stuff I’ve done it I’ve taken every single item from all

Of these double chests and like all these double chests are pretty much full and I put it into our simple storage Network also I moved the table up here so I stopped having to go downstairs I mean there’s no real reason to go downstairs into the drawer area anymore

If we could just access everything up here now the question y’all are probably wondering how much room is left in the Colossal chest for storage let’s check it out here’s all the stuff it’s storing look at how many items this colossal chest holds and there we go I’d say

We’re about 60 full but we still have plenty of room in this guy now could you imagine if all you had was a colossal chest and you were trying to find your items in here all that would be painful that’s why you have to hook it up to

Your network another thing you could do with colossal chest is upgrade your chest you could take the Colossal chest ball calls using blocks of copper chromatic iron that really expensive you could make a copper colossal chest now I’m assuming they hold more items but

Not 100 sure I’d have to look it up now another reason why I unlocked the simple storage Network mod is because I realized there’s import cables and Export cables meaning we can move items around with this mod so I want to go ahead and craft an import cable here to

See if we can suck the items out of our bags so here’s the plan I moved the root underneath behind the drawers here so if I put a cable here a import cable here and then we have our backpack full of stuff let me take my Idols out of there
