CallieBuilds – Minecraft Advancement Hunting in Create Mod? | Northern Lights SMP 2.0

Did you know that there are over a hundred and two advancements in Minecraft well here on the Northern Lights server we also have the create mod and that one has even more advancements I’ve always wanted to get better at Minecraft and I don’t know much about create and so in today’s video

I’m going to take on some of these advancements and see if we can improve our knowledge of Minecraft create mod is awesome I’m just you know not really technically inclined so I don’t normally focus on more of the technical things and as you can tell there is a whole lot

Here that I have not even touched and I’m not entirely sure which one to start with first because oh my goodness there is so many here I think we should make a few Contraptions that I have used over at spawn but we don’t actually have here

And I think this would be really helpful for us to actually get the advancements this building right behind me is going to work perfectly to put a bunch of them in the first Contraption I think we’re gonna make is the mechanical press because you need a mechanical press to

Press down iron into sheets and gold into sheets and copper into sheets and I have no idea what else however to make a lot of create things you need and a site and I’m a builder and all my andesite has been used up in building so I guess

It’s time for a short little mining session as we go find Samantha site This should be a healthy dose of andesite for the projects that we need to do we have the seventh and aside alloy that we’re gonna need for this mechanical press and now we’re going to need a cog wheel so we’re going to use uh some wood here hog wheel how do we

Make that alike so and now we need to create a water wheel because in order to make the mechanical press move and work we need some form of power how do we do this that should be good how many are we going to need I think you only kind of

Need one but since we can make more than one we’re going to do that because that will hopefully give us more power as my understanding of how this works it looks like we’re going to need a few more shafts and to make the shafts you do

This oh look at that I am actually knowing how to make great things it’s amazing so we’re going to need a block of iron and a sight casing and a shaft and a side casing is fairly simple if I remember from what Minnie told me we take a piece of wood

We strip it and then we right click with our andesite alloy and we make an andesite casing perfect and now if we go in and we say mechanical press we can make one so if we come back over into this lovely building we need to put our water wheel somewhere I’m gonna pretend

I know what I’m doing I think this is the way to go there we go as you can tell it is now turning that shaft oh this is oh my goodness guys this is working am I actually doing something right and now we should be able to put

That on and now we have a mechanical press if we did this and then you just kind of make that shape I mean we could make it prettier Nope nope we haven’t there’s something underneath that we need to put oh it does work okay I’m just a little bit impatient that’s all oh there we go we got Bonk guys first advancement let’s go I want to put a another thing over here and one of those things is a mechanical

Mixer mechanical mixer so we need a whisk and a side casing Cog wheel guys that’s actually going to be pretty simple I think we need a cauldron if we don’t I just wasted a bunch of iron it’s fine if we then grab our cauldron is that what’s supposed to be in there we

Have our mixer we have our mechanical press um what can I mix oh that’s one of okay we need glue how do we make glue I think we need wheat for glue glue how do we make this super glue is an Iron Sheet iron nugget and slime ball can we make

Slime balls we can we can make dough and then we can do lime dye to make dough we’d make wheat flour which means we need to get a Milling Stone going so it’s a cogwheel and a side casing and a stone-ish block now we can go here this

One and this one perfect Millstone there we go okay and now if we take our wheat and throw it in there these work oh there we go it’s grinding guys oh good this is uh I made it work Um embrace the grind we got another advancement that is awesome so now that we have ourselves the wheat flour we need a basin guys this is gonna help our little project on a little bit better than a cauldron which doesn’t work you know there we go now it’s turning okay

The mechanical mixer is not rotating with enough speed how do we speed it up almost missed out here on having my recording going but here we have our third advancement mixing it up well we have made a bit of a mess but we now have this one working correctly let’s

Take a look at our advancements here uh so we now have this one done we have the Bonk one which we did and of course we have the embrace the grind so we have now gotten three in today’s video but we have some more we are gonna do here first though we got

To make this a little bit more pretty I’ve made quite the mess down here as I’ve been trying to work this out how do we make dough we need a bucket of water all done oh we now have two does lime die perfect um we only need two so we’re just gonna

Use two and I think we can just do it in our inventory can’t we super glue well in order to actually glue something we don’t have to do anything crazy it’s just blue a group of blocks together so what happens if I just glue them together

And just do that there we go area of connect perfect we got ourselves our fourth advancement I think the next one we should do is this processing by particle we need a propeller an endocyte casing and a shaft what happens if we actually put a gearbox in between does this slow it down

Oh we’re wind makers yes however it is going the wrong direction okay I figured it out I just had to move the gearbox onto the big Cog wheel not the little one this is so ugly guys I I’m sorry you should be able to then draw or gravel in there

And it should start washing there we go processing by particle we did it springboard Champion get launched more than 30 blocks by a weighted ejector that would be so much fun Yes we did it springboard champion oh my goodness that was so much fun but now to pick it up because it doesn’t need to be here and we need to return all the materials that we took away workshop’s most favorite use an upright mechanical saw to process materials I’m

Burner besides going into The Nether and dealing with blazes empty fillets burner well I have made it to spawn and this is where we have our portal into The Nether now I have been in on this side before anyways the nether fortress is down here oh there we go a terrible Fortress perfect

Wasn’t paying attention because these guys were hitting me and I didn’t like it I think we are gonna get home and we are gonna go see what other type of advancements we can get we have done a lot of work on the whole create mod advancements and well my brain is kind

Of fried putting the create mod advancements aside let’s work on some of these vanilla ones and I see two very easy ones that we could do I think we can do the sound of music pretty easily we do have to find a meadow but I’m assuming that won’t be too bad and then

Light as a rabbit is also a very simple one that we could do if we can find powdered snow and I think we should make a spy glass to see if we can find a bird and a ghast let’s make ourselves some leather boots or see if I have any

Around here do we have leather boots in here we do feather falling four on breaking three oh my goodness those are really good leather boots we’re gonna take them with us and I think we should go and try and find some snow oh actually guys I have just realized

There’s a jungle that way which should give us the opportunity to see a parrot and here is our jungle we have a bird around here don’t worry I’m pretty sure there’s a bigger jungle that was a really tiny one there we go there’s some more jungle over there uh yeah I forgot

How small that was oh okay let’s continue on this way why is there a zombie just hanging out here that is so weird anyways one more jungle perfect okay please give me a parrot any parrot will do I don’t think that type of parrot will work despite this being snow plaid I

Don’t think it’s going to be powder snow clad no Powder snow up here well this was a disappointing trip but I wonder if we go into the nether in this dangerous dangerous Nether if maybe a gas would spawn in that we’d be able to see it is a soul sand Bailey

After all right you were in uh quite the predicament sir why is it that when you want a gas to spawn in they don’t spawn in and when you don’t want them they’re constantly around you well apparently those advancements weren’t easy enough did we do that one it’s happening yeah we are

Make the text of a sign glow easy and catch a fish in a bucket oh we can 100 do some of those if we go up here I believe we will find some there we go glow ink sack and all we need is a sign and we can easily get this advancement
