Campbell Smythe – Minecraft: Education Edition – Easiest way to Add a custom Skin to Minecraft: Education Edition

Okay one of the things that’s really cool with minecraft is that you can give your own character their own skin um now in minecraft education edition it’s not that easy but we can do it and this is how so first of all you’ll want to get yourself a skin

So just as an example i’ve gone to minecraftskins.net and i’m going to choose this one here obi-wan kenobi if i wanted to i could go into edit i could use these tools here and the colors and and do some some basic editing if i wanted to

I don’t really want to i just want to show you how to get this guy into minecraft i’m just going to click download and this will download the png image that i need i’m just going to change that to ob1 so i know who he is

I’m just saving this on my desktop all right so that image is saved now we’ve got this really cool tool here now called skin peck creator for minecraft from matt in t11 on twitter so give him a follow give him a shout out thank him for doing this because it

Makes it a lot easier so all you do is fill out this form so pretty basic i’m just going to call the name of the skin obi-wan kenobi and the template name i’ll call it call it the same thing and version number i’ll just say version 1.0

Now i’ll choose the image that i downloaded just click on browse now i saved it on my desktop here it is there you can see it’s all unpacked unopened and then click submit all right so this is what we want this mc pack i’m just going to save that to

The desktop as well now that that’s downloaded i just need to open it up so if i just double click on this here this is the pack which contains that skin double click it minecraft will open up that’s all in there if i go into here into the skins and scroll down

You can see obi-wan kenobi so i can click on him and choose some confirm and that’s it nice and easy so the instructions here they’re on my website which has got a link in the notes below
