Champwan – Minecraft Tutorials | How to make an Automatic Farm without Sticky Pistons

Ah hey guys chairman here and welcome to a video where I’m going to be showing you how to do this automatic wheat farm or automatic anything from carrots potatoes you name it so as you can see here we’re going to need is a low in my hotbar

You’re going to need diamond hoe to hold the ground you need some dirt for that bit the dirt should be there unless you’re building on sand or sometimes then you know you’re going to need some dirt and you need some bucket of water water you can need some water buckets

Even and a lever for the switch some cobblestone I can’t be as measuring out and I will show you later some oak slabs from this bit and eight sond eight piston nine rights down and rest on repeaters and some red stuff so as you can see here this works like the Pistons

Make the Sun go down and then all of it flows down and you can collect all of your goodies so I’m going to be showing you step-by-step how to do this so first of all what you want to do is you want to build a one two three four five six

Seven eight nine by one two three four five six seven eight nine ten like this and this is just going to be the outline of the what you want to build there so then what you want to do next is on the second block here you want to dig down

To and put down the pistons and so that they can extend up to carry the Sun when they’re activated and next what you want to do is you can hold the ground if you want this this is well you don’t have to have the ground obviously but I’m I put

In the Sun hold the ground and put in the water now you got to be careful on this one you can put any slab here but you don’t want want to go on this one because there’s going to be redstone here so that it’s just going to flood

The red stone and I’ll be gone so that one you don’t want it this side is okay this side this little little lever goes or the button whichever you want so what that has to be a slug there on the second one but the rest of it can be water as shown

Right here so after we’ve done this the next step is to actually add the red to turn in so we have the lever here and I’ve just mined out so you can see how the Redstone work so goes over here and under here and we need the 1 redstone

Repeater there and we got the eight Pistons that each redstone repeater the other eight connecting to each piston the redstone this needs to be here because without it if I do just put a redstone ER it doesn’t reach all of it because I believe redstone can only

Reach like 16 places so if you add a redstone repeater here actually reaches all of it and then there you go so when you can actually do it as well on this layer if you want but I feel like this layer is a bit of a mess for me because

Sometimes when you want to clear this bit water comes down and floods all the redstone and it all gets messed up so yeah that’s how you do this bit and then this is the end design now you may be wondering because I haven’t explained why you’ve got to use slabs here and so

Where you girlie you slab see it is because of this little redstone here if you use the full block so full block would be doubt that the redstone stops working the lattice activates and the level stops working but if you put on a slab for some reason maybe because it’s

Not that tall block it actually still goes down works so that works and if you want to make it look nice and fancy then you put slabs all around you can also put hoppers here and connect them to a chest so that um it works i’ma show you

That quickly if I can remember how to do it so I need that and a chest so if we put down chest here and then connect hoppers to it like this and done like that then say like that’s that’s there the hopper if the water activates it we’ll get all

The seeds of push it into one of the hoppers which will collect it and hopefully the hopper should be in the chest which it is so you can make it like that but um and I like I like this design at the end this one over here we can fly faster put

In here I like this design because it just looks nice and you can literally just pick it all up anyway because you’re going to need to replant all the seed so you get 48 from up which is pretty good you get a couple of seeds and you can just replant them and start

Over and if you wondering why it’s a you can’t make it bigger unless you add water in because the water sauce can actually only reach four blocks I believe so it reaches four blocks if you do one water source at each side then that will be a all together so yeah
