Hey what’s up boys and girls I’m kiyotaka furniture and today I’m going to be showing you how to install texture packs in Minecraft on your Xbox 360 so just before I begin the video I want to explain this tutorial only works on JTAG Xboxes so you can only install texture Packs on a JTAG but anyway what you need to do is go to your Xbox where you have Minecraft installed you want to go to the dashboard and you want to scroll up with system settings and then you want to go to system then go to storage hard Drive and go to games and you want to scroll down until you find minecraft they want to press Y to go to game options and you want to move minecraft onto your USB flash drive so when minecraft is transferred over to your USB flash drive they want to remove your USB flash drive from your xbox 360 and you want to plug it into your computer you will then need a program called horizon if you didn’t have the program simply go to youtube and search your pad to download horizon for free you should be able to find it as it’s many good Tutorials as soon as you have the program open you want to then go to your USB flash drive and you want to go to games and in the minecraft folder you should find minecraft Xbox 360 edition you then want to drag that into the grey Section on the left and then you want to click contents and you should see all the game attributes you then want to minimize horizon and you want to create a folder on your desktop I recommend calling it minecraft and then drag it to one side then want to Open the folder and then you want to create two new folders one called games and one called textures okay so when you’ve made the two folders you then want to close the Minecraft folder and you want to go back to Horizon then from here you want to then Go to extract all and you want to go to the desktop and you want to find the minecraft folder and then you want to choose the game folder which you created inside minecraft and you want to click OK it will then take about 20 seconds to extract all the files into the minecraft Folder I’m going to speed it up for video purposes simply because it did take a bit of time okay so when all the files have been extracted you don’t want the closed horizon as it’s no longer needed you didn’t want to go back to your desktop and go to the minecraft Folder and then go to the folder named game as this is where everything saved you’ll notice some images from Minecraft we want to go to the folder named res and you’ll notice down the bottom there are three images one called terrain one called terrain mipmap level 2 and 1/4 a Map map level 3 so this is the texture pack of Minecraft you want to then download a texture pack which you want to use so I’m going to use x-ray you’ll notice you do not have MIT map level 2 and MIT map level 3 so you need to make Those yourself you want to go to a website called pick resize comm I will put a link in the description if you want to go to browse and you want to find the x-ray texture pack or whichever texture pack you want to use so since you found about the image of the texture Pack you want to go to continue and it’ll take a few seconds to load you don’t want to scroll down and you want to choose the size of the image make sure you choose 50% smaller so the estimated size is 128 by 128 then click I’m done resize okay then you want to Click to a save to disk and what will happen then you’ll download the image and I recommend dragging that the desktop and renaming this straightaway if you want to rename it terrain underscore MIT map level 2 so this is the medium sized image of the texture Pack so when you’ve done that you can then drag it into the x-ray folder or you can just leave it on your desktop it doesn’t really matter you want to go to resume edit and you need to make one more so you want to then go And you want to keep it at 50% smaller but this time it should say 64 by 64 so if it says that you want to go to I’m done resize and you want to fit save to disk again and you want to drag that image image to the desktop once again And you want to rename this one to rain underscore mipmap level 3 so this is the small image of the three images so when you’ve done that you can drag that into the x-ray folder as well and you’ll notice I’m just going to show you guys now the three images are all different Sizes so this is basically just showing you the different sizes of the texture pack okay so when you’ve done that you can then close the x-ray folder or whichever texture pack you’re going to use you then want to go back to game go to rays and you want to delete all of The terrains of the texture pack because you no longer want that one and you want to drag three terrains of the new texture pack which you want to use so or you can copy and paste like I’m going to do as it’s a little bit easier so as you Can see I now have a new texture pack in there it now replaces it you can also replace particles but I’m not going to okay so when you’ve done that you then want to go to my computer and you want to go to your USB flash drive and you Want to drag the minecraft folder into your USB flash drive it will take about 20 seconds so I’m going to speed it up for video purposes but as soon as the minecraft folder is on your USB flash drive you can unplug your USB flash drive from your PC and you can plug your USB flash drive into your JTAG Xbox they want to load the XCX menu and as soon as the XCX menu is loaded you want to go to your USB flash drive or you can copy it over to your hard drive if you want to but I’m going to run it straight from my Hard drive you then want to go to the minecraft folder and you want to patch the file you can then as soon as it’s done back out and go into the game folder then go to res and then you want to press your right analog stick so the default XCX program comes up they want to choose that and minecraft should load okay so as soon as minecraft is loaded you then want to choose play game as soon as you choose play game your world will load unfortunately are limited to only playing the tutorial world however you are given your texture pack So this is pretty much all you can do with a texture pack hopefully this tutorial has helped you out very much if it has then please give the video a like and also I’d appreciate it if you can comment if there’s anything I need to improve on and if you haven’t already Then please subscribe to my channel I’m going to be trying to find a way to get texture packs by using a USB rather than a JTAG so anyway guys thanks for watching and I’ll see you guys next time Video Information
