ChippyGaming – Slaying the First Boss in Minecraft’s Terraria Mod!

So good morning everyone welcome back to terraria craft that’s right i’ve returned veteran minecraft playing uh ask me anything today we’re back because once again i am completely sucked in by this mod and i still have questions i still have things that i want to sing so in today’s

Episode we’re going to be working on expanding the settlement so that hopefully we can find some new terraria npcs because for those who have not caught up with the the lore of terraria craft so far uh we found the guide um contemplating his life now don’t jump up for me mate

I honestly can he hear me right now because that was that was very strange okay so we’ve found the guide and we’ve also found what is that what is hurting me right now am i getting burnt by this what is what is happening um we’ve also found the nurse as well uh

Man ah okay why is everybody sat down uh so yeah we want to try and find some more npcs so i’ve already started digging out a little base we’re gonna come back to this later but one of the things i also want to do is check out the jungle so in the last

Episode we did find the jungle but unfortunately we did perish our knees were shattered into a million little pieces and to be honest i don’t think i’m going to be able to reconstruct them for a while uh but we we basically died there so i want to go

Back i want to see if we can find maybe some jungle enemies because what i want to aim towards is maybe jungle armor but but mostly the amazon yo-yo because we tried out the wooden yo-yo we slapped a little lawyer around and it was it was great

But i won the real deal i want the amazon so i think the the goal of today’s episode is going to be exploring underground and just seeing what we can find because we’re still lacking uh basic accessories and i heard from you lot that there are accessories in this

Quickly show third person mode just to show off the uh the little animations now i’ll be honest i don’t know if this is a regular minecraft thing if this is just oh god all right that might not be regular if this is how people walk in minecraft or this is just a terraria

Thing i don’t know you could see a speed increase then when i passed that sunflower that was so cool so i’ve actually managed to find my very first sport so hopefully this will be the first of very many now i don’t know if this is the the best cave in the world

Uh but i’m gonna grab that and and crack on is there anything down here unfortunately not this was a a very large descent for uh for not that big of a payoff thought i think there’s also a sport right here it’s nice because they they really illuminate the area

Like i feel like it’s very bright how many how many spores did we get there four that’s not bad at all so i’m not exactly too sure what’s happening here but as you can see my my character is walking forward uh i’m not pressing any buttons on my keyboard

Like what is this i i can’t seem to to stop myself is this a minecraft thing or like what is what’s going on oh god it found me what is this this is horrific all the way down here really a demon eye oh my god oh my just oh and

The slime of course a slime as well man why is this why is this like a horror movie for me that i have the most unlucky time playing this and i tell you what if i’m going to film more of these i’ve got to buy some more ram

Look i’m giving this 25 gigabytes of ram it’s not enough i’m gonna i’m gonna need to buy more okay maybe that’ll be the project for the next video just picking ram okay so if i break through here how far down are we hey we’re pretty good uh put oh god it’s it’s horrific

There’s too many eyeballs about am i actually even making progress on him oh my god so since i died actually descending downwards i want to try out rope i want to see if i can make it work uh so will that actually place oh it does it does work downwards that’s so cool

So i’ll just keep slamming this then until it runs out and there you go uh how do i get down it though okay the the answer is you press shift oh my god that is scary that you descend down that it much too quicker pace for me

Okay right so the only thing is i’m a little bit weakened right now uh because i don’t have any arrows which which could be a problem so i’m hoping that there might be a little bit of stone around and i can make some more but then again being the jungle like

Everything’s gonna be made of a mud right so this might have been a pretty rough idea but hey more jungle sport this is a good sign uh one two thank you very much oh there’s loads of it i think this might be the area

Where we start to to see a little bit of progress just because stuff is actually growing in in touch what we really need but probably not right now while i’m weak is um is some enemies to spawn in that would be really helpful i’ll tell

You what it’s well this um oh i can hear something oh i there was a hornet there was a hornet i heard the the stinger all right we’re coming back but we’re coming back with arrows this time i’ll tell you what actually i want to try out alchemy

Because what i was going to say is i like that this mod gives you so many flowers and herbs and stuff like that so we could theoretically just make a day bloom and make things even easier on ourselves so let me grab this regular mushroom i do think of a name then orange

Mushroom regular mushroom it works out well so let me grab that and let me grab because in here you’re right buddy he he very much wants to leave well we have some bottles so i’m gonna try and see how well it’s been uh implemented so we’ll grab the the day bloom uh we’ll

Also grab this iron ore as well so if i put that on top of there look at that that looks pretty good right okay let me go quickly make some water bottles because there is a little bit of a pond over here and then we’ll go from there oh yeah so

Just one thing in the last episode i said i wanted to um to find a desert to get sand turns out there isn’t a desert yet but that’s all right uh but at least it honestly it saves us searching for it i think it would have been good if i’d

Spent like uh an hour looking for something and it just wasn’t in the game all right that’s probably uh enough stone now that’s good so we can make some arrows at least i tell you what as well i’m not going to stick to a to regular arrows anymore uh no no no

We are going to get working on uh some flaming arrows because i feel like that is a such a sick little upgrade that we just haven’t made yet uh so let’s make some some regular ones and see if that’s actually possible oh my god nearly a thousand i think we might be

All right yeah there you go flaming arrows okay i’ll make a bunch of those uh 400 will do that’s probably more than enough i want to save some of my uh my torches so let’s try alchemy then let’s see how this works so i’m stood near a bottle

Yeah and it just works okay iron skin uh regen okay good to go right so let’s go back to the jungle then and hopefully this time we’ll be all right tell you what though i’m gonna be waiting around until uh wait is that flaming yeah it is flaming

I’m gonna i’m gonna wait until i’m in a nice secure spot before i start taking buffs and such that i’m not wasting them and then falling down a giant hole so maybe this over here is the ocean then right okay but look at this it’s so ominous this literally looks like england right

Now this is this is england because this is what it’s like the second it hits like september october time we see no sun and this is all we see in the sky so thankfully we found sand then that’s great yeah i’m assuming this is the maybe the end of the world

I think it is so i wonder then if we took a a gills potion what would be in that water would there be water chests or not so i do wonder is this a a self-contained little world is it not infinite like minecraft that’s cool so this is actually a pretty

Neat inclusion but i’ve noticed that in the water you don’t have minecraft’s um swimming abilities because obviously in terrarium uh you can’t swim without the the flippers and such so you just kind of walk around on the bottom of the uh the ocean so it’s really realistic honestly

I don’t know about this part maybe this is realistic what do you think it’s like i’m loading into the into the matrix is that actually loaded in down there like if i was to to fall down there could i actually like go to the bottom of that i’m gonna try it

I’m so nervous i felt the game’s lagging here it just it can’t cope with the sheer amount of sand so i’ve got a good feeling that i probably shouldn’t really proceed uh but i’m gonna try it out anyway for the um for the act of science what is that down there that literally

Looks like a spider cave if i’m about to find a giant spider i don’t wanna oh god i don’t wanna continue oh survive that weirdly did i survive that no no no i didn’t okay sawmill oh look at that that looks so good like they’ve got the

The blade just right and it’s a good position like if you cut your fingers off she’s here to help oh no get away please uh right so loom we’re gonna make that we’re gonna slap that down uh oh god uh try there oh look at that as well that looks great

So can we now make silk we can awesome so i’ll make a whole bunch of uh silk up and then as you can see we’ve made a bet awesome it’s just a little bit too big i tell you what let’s get rid of the sawmill for now can you can you stop

She nodded in agreement okay let’s uh let’s try place that down there uh thank you okay can i sleep spawn point set uh but i can’t sleep all right oh it’s a shame i was looking forward to skipping the night to be honest all right i’ve successfully found it so

Let’s use our buffs let’s actually try if b works hey it does all right quick buff from terraria all right sick so we just got to be got to be careful in here not to not to perish too soon so the only thing is and this is something i’m a little

Bit worried about is i i remembered that that amazon needs a vine to to craft now i for some reason i just don’t see them having added man-eaters but then again like i’ve been shocked a few times with this mallet the the lengths they’ve gone to because we know they’ve got hornets

Because we’ve heard them but yeah will they have monitors i just don’t know so this is the area where the hornets were and i can’t seem to to get any more to spawn in so i think what i’m going to do instead is i’m going to start digging around

And just seeing what that’s about and then hopefully we find something to kill i don’t know maybe that’ll make him spawn in i just want to appreciate my tombstone uh it says i was slain all right so i’ve managed to find uh a cave below the area where we were

So maybe this might be good i think the the deeper we go uh the better chances we have to to find something really good i’m just trying to think is that is that going to kill me uh if i can’t even rope left i do have rope

Okay rope is coming in big today all right just rope our way down oh now this looks promising this does this looks really promising lots of uh spores i can see but will there be enemies and most importantly now will there be man eaters i can see mahogany trees down there

Okay this looks this looks really good genuinely i’m actually quite excited for this okay i’m gonna rope my way down and we’ll go from there so i’ll admit today’s episode it’s it’s not really going as planned uh so i was in the large cave i dug down found

Another large cave and then now i’m digging down again to see if we can try find something but honestly it’s it’s not really going very well i’m not finding anything but that is the nature of combining terrarium minecraft because at the end of the day minecraft is is 3d there’s a lot more

Area to search around him but i guess the good thing is is if there is an underworld we might actually find it today which i think in itself would be pretty exciting uh but i’ve taken to uh to elevating down like this all right i have definitely i’ve definitely learned from

My mistakes in previous episodes so yeah this is the the new plan but yeah it’s not it’s just not going very well so i’ve been digging down now for uh a couple hundred blocks bought we’ve managed to find a grass now usually when i find grass it means that there’s a cave below

So we’ve got to be careful yeah i was right okay awesome honestly at this point all hope was lost i genuinely thought we weren’t going to see anything good today whoa wow another demon although that’s really cool for a second i was like what what being might this be what wonders can it

Teach us is there anything else to no okay all right so there isn’t some secret uh spore monster that’s good but i just wonder like is we descend on downwards like are we eventually gonna find hell or are we gonna find um some jungle houses maybe both would be absolutely awesome today i

Just want to be honest at this point i just want to see a hornet that’s that’s like that’s mainly the reason why i’m here oh my god no i can’t believe it i probably i’ll probably spend about half an hour getting to that point die to some thorns i think forms might

Need to be might need to be nerfed a little bit well i’ll say it it’s been a bit of a train wreck yeah you agree thanks for nodding at everything i say it’s been a real train wreck the every goal i wanted to do today has been stomped down by the burden of

Terraria that’s right uh so what should i how do i salvage this look look at me right how did how do we salvage this how do we say that we’ve done anything productive today when really we kind of haven’t like what what am i meant to do

He’s like please stop stop screaming at me right actually i know what we’ll do to salvage this okay i’ve come up with a good idea um he’s just staring at the walls okay here’s what we’ll do we’ll do a re-fight against king slime yeah that’s it that’s what we’ll do

We’ll salvage the episode it’s it’s gonna be brilliant what’s his name again is it marty marty it’s gonna be gold it’s gonna be gold can i make her a crown right now i think it might be five gold to make a crown i’m not too sure actually so

Thankfully i’ve actually managed to to find some gold i was just kind of digging around and uh and here we are this is great the one thing i needed do you know what i need a little bit of luck today i don’t know how i’ll end up editing up

Today’s episode but let me tell you going to that jungle was a nightmare i get there i die to forms constantly i’m falling down holes i’m dying to random i’ve not i have cthulhu little you know the little eyeballs little eyeballs following you around and that and then um

And then yeah just to top it off i don’t actually find any hornets which is like the the one thing i wanted from there so i’m probably gonna cut a lot of that out but just know i spent a lot of time in the jungle today to find absolutely nothing but hey that

Is the way of rng so we’re back home and we’ve got the gold so what we’re going to do is smelt it all up we’re going to make a crown and then we’ll do a big re-fight against uh king slime and it’s going to be triumphant mainly because in this

Episode we have mastered alchemy that’s right i’ve salvaged an episode and i’m very proud of that so one thing i do really want to make is this golden pickaxe but it’s gonna take all of my gold okay i’ll make the crown for now but then we’ll come back another day and

I’ll make the the pickaxe cause yeah at this point it’s kind of invaluable right so let’s walk over to the corruption make ourselves a slimy crown and then we’ll do this yeah so very quickly uh let’s make the slimy crown uh let’s see okay bam there we go it’s done

And i’m gonna throw myself into phones for a quick respawn so to do this real quick uh we’re gonna make some more flaming arrows just so that we’re a little bit more equipped so i’ll make a whole bunch of torches uh we’ll slap these bad boys into here

And then they should be at the top maybe all right there we go a little bit worried them okay so we are ready for the re-fight against king slime what did we learn last time um i guess honestly don’t fall down holes okay let’s do this all right king slime time

We also learned that we need to be careful when it teleports we don’t want to let it uh get too close but the good thing is is i don’t know i think we’ll be better this time i do i think we’ll be better maybe what i’ll

Try and do is stay in this circle since i know it’s kind of safe it’s really fast though you do have to oh god you do have to be careful i would make a swiftness potion but we don’t have any um i think it’s cactus you need

People wondering by the way why is my uh aim so jittery uh during the first fight it’s a it’s a combination to be honest what you’re seeing it’s a combination of the game lagging but then it’s also a combination of i just clicked really hard on the mouse

I’ll just be honest with you that’s the reason why okay keep walking backwards just keep our distance it’s only gonna get faster and faster see like there you see all the jitter that’s the game lagging and trying to to keep up with where my with where my mouse is that’s what that is

Okay so we’re actually keeping good distance now this is great oh never mind all right there’s been a twist of fate here okay let’s keep it going keep it going we don’t have much left let me just all right let’s just double checking we don’t have anything behind us

All right here we go oh slippery shinobi there we go king slime has fallen we are the we are the victor of terraria craft well done all right round of applause all right uh so uh we got the solidifier and we also got a ninja shirt very cool so i think
