ChosenArchitect – 5×5 Mining Enchant Ep. 8 Valhelsia 3 Minecraft Modpack

Hey guys and welcome back this is chosen architect and today have you ever wanted to mine a 5×5 area out really quickly well today’s the video for you so i hope you guys are ready So heading back into our world man i have done just a tiny little bit of mining i ended up getting myself just a tiny little bit more iron and uh man i realized that this tool is great it is really great having silk touch is also great

Um and there’s some other things i would like to add to this saw so we can swap saw blades and everything but a normal pickaxe is still going to be better for things like diamond and other things like that because we are still going to need a tool

To be able to use fortune with and so with that in mind as you can see my my fuel tank is empty because i’ve been mining um with that in mind i do want to go ahead and get an enchanting room set up and i’m probably going to set it up

Right over here of course my mining drill is of course empty um i did realize as well that uh there is such thing as a jerry can that we could use um also i did start to empty this uh creosote into these basic tanks these tanks are

Really cheap um so i recommend using those but yeah a jerry can can hold 10 buckets of fluid and you can actually use it to carry around and there’s really no need to worry about this because you can just fill up your tools that use the biodiesel with the jerry can

At least i believe so kind of with the tooltip side so while i’m setting this up i did find these like spruce pantries that you can make these are so cool they’re like little chests but oh they fit so well in this little area

Drop that in uh i need to grab a little bit more stone to fill that in but we’re just about ready at 46 levels oh goodness okay so if we throw this in okay so we this normal tool cannot be enchanted this or this tool cannot be enchanted

In here that is interesting now i did see that you can put enchanted books on this but the fact that this can’t be enchanted this way i don’t know if that makes it better or worse than a regular diamond pickaxe and let’s take a look before we even make a diamond one um

Let’s take a look at what pickaxes there there are um now i know another right pick is really really nice but are there better pickaxes than diamond at the moment um because we do have amnesty so this is mining efficiency eight it looks about the same it’s exactly the same so the amethyst

Pickaxe is actually the same as diamond unbreaking and efficient wow that’s actually i’m going to keep this because i think i want to make another amethyst pick to combine with this one if we get the fortune because that’s actually a pretty decent roll hopefully we can get something that rolls efficiency for and

Also rolls uh looting so to make that spawner run without us needing to be near it um we can take a look at some of the things it requires and this one’s an anchor upgrade it says it ignores nearby players um which means it should run without me near

Which is exactly what i want that way i can just let it run and it’s going to to work now we can’t decrease the minimum spawn delay but we can decrease the maximum spawn delay with some speed upgrades um not horribly difficult to make either of these

This one requires diamond dust which uh i mean kind of expensive when we only have a couple of diamond but hey you know i think it’s worth it i’m gonna go ahead and throw it over here with what power we have left of this machine

Uh by the way i think you can throw redstone in here i think redstone does still work let’s see redstone just in case because i don’t have this fully hooked up to power just yet but if i throw redstone you can see the power just shot right back up

So yes this does still consume redstone as a form of power all right so diving back into apotheosis you can see right here anchor bam we’ve made it now all we have to do is right click on our spawner and this should keep this thing running regardless of if

We’re standing next to it or not at least that’s the hope so if i get close and i right click on it challenge complete factory ready so yes that did do something and i believe that’s exactly what it did now all of this experience is going to end up building up

Uh there might be a way in here to collect experience i don’t exactly know because i haven’t looked into that but at the moment i’m okay with the clumps doing its job and sort of clumping up and us just walking by and collecting a large quantity of experience

So this enchant i mean i can’t beat it i mean it’s just regular fortune 3 so you know what i’m gonna go with it we’re gonna go ahead and make yourself an anvil combine this up uh i think that’s gonna be good at least for right now when it comes to

Diamond and things like that i think we’re gonna need this yeah this is just good on its own um because as of at the moment i have not had anything like this so having fortune 3 gonna make harvesting coal and any other thing like that super super nice

It’ll be just another thing to have on us so enough with that i kind of want to get some more power set up today and uh to do that we are probably gonna get into some mechanism a little bit more um and i want to get myself some bio

Fuel generated now we do have the we have access to potatoes we have access to crops that we’re auto harvesting so i think this is going to be a good good solution especially early game for this so to get this started we just basically need a biogenerator so we do need some biofuel

In order to get this started so if i take some potatoes if i have any just available this i’m going to go ahead and crush these down inside this hopefully get some bio fuel now this is not hooked up to any power or anything like i said you can use some redstone

But i need at least two for the craft and then once these are done uh we should be able to use this to generate power and potatoes are really good for this as you can see it gave me five for one potato like it’s pretty nice for fueling um now

I’m also gonna need some power cables so within mechanism take a look at power we’re gonna have ourselves some basic power cables um i think they’re called energy let’s see well i guess it would be cable wouldn’t it or is it even called a cable yeah it’s called a cable basic universal

Cable um and this is what’s gonna power everything uh so luckily mechanism has made it a little bit easier now to uh to route power um i think what i’m gonna do is i’m going to have this mechanism crusher go on top so like this and have the bio gin

Now this looks a little bit funny uh that’s because it’s facing the wrong direction you actually need to face it this way um and have the power routed out the back which is what i’m going to do i don’t know if it’ll let you route the power out any particular way

But this way i tend to like and we should be able to set the input on the top we can actually use the configurator set this to item by holding down shift and scroll welding and we can search for let’s see items just like this and as you can see on the

Top it’s not showing that i can let items go in the top yeah there’s actually not a configuration for that ah i’m wondering if um it is on the bottom where is the item configuration because yeah i should be able to put items in here uh

Does a does a hopper like work on top man this is gonna be i need to figure this out for a second because i don’t remember that not letting you select where the item can go okay so yeah it lets it go on the top okay that’s what i was i was hoping

Um so if that’s the case i think this can push automatically uh push the items down so we have auto eject on and then um not on energy if we go to items we have the bottom right here set to output and then the top set to input everything else we can clear

Uh power can be on anything and we should be good now this does not let me even configure the power options but if i take a look i should be able to go back here and then just feed the power back into this and then this is pretty much going to

Make is this is going to make more power than this actually consumes this is only consuming 20 rf per tick whereas this is uh producing 140 rf per tick so long as we feed this with some sort of fuel we should be able to should be able to power our other

Machines such as these two guys which i’m gonna go back here and just connect the power to and this works out perfect like this is a nice amount of power to get to these machines and or any other machines that we need to hook to this

And there we go so we can place a hopper on the top or we might be able to place a chest i think for right now i’m just going to use a logistics transporter and then use a chest um so for this i can place the chest

I mean i would place it up here but it’s probably gonna get caught up in that so hmm i mean i guess i can just place it right here and then run the cable up like so and into this and that’ll work fine now on this configurator you do have to set

This mode by holding shift and clicking on the bottom to set that to pull um and then we’ll just fill that with some potatoes since we are gathering a lot more potatoes than we actually need for biofuel i think that is going to be the better way to go about doing

Uh doing and or using these potatoes it’s going to end up stopping um until it needs more of the biofuel but yeah for right now this should be totally keeping up as you can see there we go we’ll fill it with more now the only thing i definitely want to do with this

Is apply some upgrades to it some silencing upgrades so because of all the noise it’s making i definitely want to muffle that up um and i needed some crushed seals so i went ahead and made that but we are going to need some upgrades that are called muffler upgrades yes and i definitely

Need some more uh sand yeah i’m gonna need some more glass definitely uh we might actually go farming for some sand i can actually use the drill for sand which is kind of nice but this muffling upgrade is going to be kind of nice i don’t know if we need more than one

Uh but this one’s really loud and the humming that this makes is incredibly loud so if we put this in here it should knock it down a little bit that barely helped at all and i don’t know if going into the music and sound settings like if it’s under shoot block box or

Note blocks or anything else environment sounds like it’s pretty loud i thought there was another section for it but i guess that’s what the upgrades are technically for so i decided to go ahead and get the little station set up that i’m going to start working with our villagers

At and so i think on this side i’ll do a brewing stand and then on this one i’ll do a lectern and then over here we’re gonna have two farmers so let’s go ahead and grab our villagers we have tons of villagers that don’t uh that are not attached to

Anything which is kind of interesting because something in here is modifying the way that villagers work um because in normal 116 villagers do not continue to breed if they’ve exceeded past year by the way there’s a witch just lingering over here um so me moving these villagers they’re

Going to continue to make more it’s kind of weird but i’ve not seen them do that uh actually continue to breed more than what currently resides oh okay well this guy’s dead um i should probably try and place them uh maybe there instead of killing them like that

So this should work better there we go and it’s turned into a farmer which is perfect and yeah wheat and carrots not bad even though i prefer you to do potatoes uh but i mean hey if we don’t get them we’re gonna continue to i guess try and swap them

Until we get what we really want um over here hopefully we get a potato guy eventually we’ll probably switch to melons and stuff i don’t know but i do need to grab this these guys are already doing carrots hmm so unfortunately they neither one

Turned out to be what i want them to be let’s see carrots nope not interested potatoes okay i’ll take that now you turn into potatoes or something well i guess you had wheat which is actually wheat’s good 20 wheat like that’s that’s not bad i’m gonna go ahead and grab the

Stuff to lock these guys in real quick before time happens and we can’t uh do anything with them yeah this is the perfect trade because since we already have this farming we might as well utilize it we can lock this in just by trading some wheat and getting tons of emeralds this way

And then potatoes this guy’s also training for beetroots which we haven’t started doing just yet oh and just unlock some new trades so we are getting stuff from upgrade aquatic now i was wondering if there was going to be some extra modded items thrown in here in strawberries is one of

The things we can trade for for this guy that’s nice because we have tons of those laying around um now for the other villagers that’s gonna be a little bit different um one of them is gonna grant us ender pearls and like an easy access to them

Without the need for a farm which is honestly one of the best one of the best things that has happened um since this villager update which believe it or not happened like over two years ago it’s crazy to think the village and pillage update have didn’t happened that long ago but

Yeah it really did um 114 what uh one of my favorite updates by far so let’s see if we can get this guy in here there we go okay now the cleric really doesn’t change or anything so it is what it is it’s pretty much going to be rotten flesh

Um so or we can trade emeralds for whatever it’s offering so it’s offering redstone that’s probably the best thing to buy right now so buy the redstone get this guy trading already and that way we can work our way towards uh other stuff so lapis i can go ahead i’m gonna have

An infinite resource of emeralds eventually anyways so the sooner we get this guy to selling emerald or inter pearls the better yeah and now we’re gonna go with this and so on and so forth as far as villagers go our last but not least villager

Is gonna go into here and it’s going to be the librarian and this guy is going to be a little bit uh of a different beast because we need to get it to trade a fair particular type of book fire protection wow fire protection five that’s actually not bad at all

We’re gonna have to keep rotating this until we get a book that we want now it could roll anything honestly i don’t even know if mending is the book that we would really want um but we can keep rolling this thing and rolling this thing until we get exactly the enchant we want

Typically mending is usually the best enchant i mean but we do have modifiers that make things indestructible so i mean honestly mending isn’t even the greatest thing in the world anymore so this book right here seems kind of interesting excavating two harvest additional blocks and a radius um okay that’s a very interesting

Enchant i think i’m gonna kind of stick with this we may have to farm a lot of these different enchanting guys i don’t know like that’s kind of interesting actually getting that enchant so i’m gonna i’m gonna definitely farm it here we have so many seeds i don’t

Really know what to do with them um but i’m gonna continue to farm these emeralds and i’m gonna grab that enchant we’re gonna put it on our pick here and just see exactly what it does i have no idea i mean they could do all kinds of stuff

All right let’s see hopefully i have enough stock here to be able to fully buy this guy out all right we don’t have enough stock there um do we have anything i can sell to this guy let’s see gold and rotten flesh i don’t think we have enough rotten flesh

No we don’t have like a sufficient mob farm yet hmm gold i definitely don’t have enough gold to do that this guy i mean i could buy a shelf that’s probably gonna be the best thing to lock this in let me go ahead and lock that in and

Then just continue to farm this guy over here for potatoes until we get what we need i think he’s done restocking for the day so just thinking my wheat farm seems definitely a little weak but i was looking right here and there is a growth or a lamp of growth

That we can technically make all i need to do is grab some blaze powder and i already have this i’ve mined up a rock root it does show up right around uh kind of i guess i can show up anywhere i don’t know i’ve kind of found it in caves um and

Elsewhere but this is from truecraft and it says it accelerates the growth of plants and baby animals within a 5×5 area so if that’s the case we should be able to use this as a way to farm and i wonder so if it’s a five by

Five i can have this on a post um and luckily for us uh that means we can probably just place it right on top of this right or even in it does that make sense did i just place that inside there it is in there i mean but technically it’ll get broken

Okay so there we go i can can i place a fence down oh wow i can and we can place this on top and now this does that thing and it technically grows the crops that’s kind of cool actually now all i need is another one for that because if

It doesn’t in a 5×5 like yeah this should definitely function so i’m going to go ahead and buy this now i’m sure excavating 2 is not the max i bet uh this goes up right um excavating goes oh no it two is the max harvest additional blocks in a radius so

If we apply that to this let’s just let’s just look at this because we could potentially make this on breaking so long as we get another efficiency on here um we’re looking at a potentially powerful pick um i just want to see what this looks like when we mine with

It because if this does like a five by five that’s kind of crazy okay so this is mining a five by five and all the blocks are dropping now understand this we can make this pick unbreakable um a hundred percent we can and we can make it completely indestructible now at this point

It does not have a the high enough efficiency for me to want to do that i still want another pick with efficiency 5 to do that and we could potentially get that right now actually um let’s make another amethyst oh we don’t have enough amethyst but we do have books and we could

Potentially get that on a book i’m gonna sit here and try for a little bit i do have a little bit of levels maybe we can get that on there oh man it is so nice to get that it’s so satisfying when we hit that and and get there i mean

Piercing i mean i’m gonna go ahead and just enchant some books aqua affinity fire aspect soul bound and we can put soul bound on this tinted phalanx sharpness i don’t know what phalanx does what does the one enchantability mean does that mean we can enchant like oh i think the enchantability is

Something that’s applied vorpal okay that’s definitely going on something later on i didn’t realize vorpal was in here vorpal is going to go on some sort of sword that we make some sort of weapon 100 so after all of that enchanting this is what i ended up getting so we

Have efficiency two efficiency three books so i can now combine this to get efficiency five um we still have vorpal and all of this other stuff um but i’m gonna show you that we can make an unbreaking pickaxe that is now pretty ridiculous even though this is not diamond

It’s still good which i mean i would love to have this on a diamond pickaxe but i don’t know we throw this in here and then in here okay so we now have pretty much like an amazing tool it is missing insight wait why do i get two of them

That was weird it is missing insight which i think i want to put on a mob tool which will help us get more experience when farming mobs um but let’s take a look at this so forbidden arcanus provides us with a stellarite piece and then we can surround that here to

Get ourself an eternal stella now within regular vanilla minecraft all we need is this smithing table and we combine that internal stella with it and we’re supposed to be able to make this unbreaking i at least i thought i thought you could i really hope amnesty is not the only thing

That we can’t make on breaking because look look at this look at this literally this works on everything else what no way i went a route that it doesn’t work for what no way you’re serious and okay i’ve got to look at this this pic does not work with that

It does okay so it does work but it it can’t be enchanted that’s what i’m looking at right now so uh if i’m if i found another piece of amethyst can i combine it with one that we’ve got to do some looking here so i’m gonna try and make this

Other pickaxe here um i did a little bit of mining to get that all gonna get some more amethyst but because it’s actually found a lot in the mountain area apparently i’m gonna i’m gonna waste this on here i am i’m gonna waste it that is now made indestructible

Can i combine that to this i i can’t indestructible okay what is it losing nothing but we need 33 levels oh we can do this we can literally do it and make it indestructible oh thank goodness that is so weird how that worked like we already have 26 levels i stand

Here a little bit we’re gonna have the experience so all we have to do is throw this now together now i’m noticing it has fortune on breaking i guess the unbreaking three disappears that may be why because it hasn’t broken 3 that we couldn’t apply the indestructible

Because it had unbreaking 3 on it so now that we have it set like this uh we have an incredibly powerful pick that we can mine with oh this is going to just destroy these mines the only thing i wish i had was a backpack mod that was readily available and i also

Wish i had some way of just removing like with nulls like the there’s nothing in here for that like how am i avoiding cobblestone and stuff i i need a backpack mod so yeah this is this is absolutely ridiculous oh and this has fortune on it like oh man yeah

This is going to get uh get crazy real fast like the gravel is the only thing that like and i can just stand here and mine this look at that there’s another xp yep this is and it’s unbreaking it’s just never gonna break on me so i hope you guys enjoyed today’s video
