Welcome back settling here today I’ve got for you an instant cobblestone wall generator you can build one of these things around your town or castle or fortress or whatever and at the push of a button you can summon a wall of cobblestone to fortify whatever it is You’re trying to fortify of course it relies on the cobblestone generation technique that you can use with lava and water and it’s not instantaneous but it’s fairly quick I’m just gonna I’m just showing you right now sort of what happens and I will dive into how it Works in a moment so it’s just about done here you can make it as tall as you want you know you could have it going around actually around an entire village or whatever there’s this leftover water I didn’t create a timing circuit for this but you can just add the push of a Button get rid of that water to a metal drain away and the nice thing about this wall is that there isn’t actually any residue lava left in here the lava has has drained away and in fact we still have a lot of buckets so this thing is completely reusable of course in order To reuse it you’ll have to remove all the cobblestone and there’s also some smooth stone in here let me go into how this works so cleared away all of the cobblestone and everything of course the basic elements in here are the dispensers with the lava bucket and the Water bucket when it is Spencer tries to dispense a water or lava bucket and there’s nothing in front of it it’ll just dispense an actual block of water or an actual block of lava and it can pick it back up too if there’s an empty Bucket so what goes on here this is a little monostable circuit when I press this button there’s a pulse it’s a two tick pulse that comes out of this little circle element here and immediately that will trigger all of these lava dispensers so that’ll put a source block Right in front of the dispenser and that kind of spreads out a little bit and then there are 10 repeaters here set to full delay and that gives it gives it four seconds for that lava to spread out it’s important that the lava spreads up for any of the water comes down Otherwise otherwise you’ll have a lava source block here and water coming down next to that and it’ll actually obsidian Cydia NIH’s the lava source block which is not really what you want so yeah there’s a there’s a four second delay here after those four seconds we trigger The lava dispensers again and that will pick up the lava because we don’t need the source blocks there anymore and then it also at the same time or roughly the same time dispenses that water so I mean what we see here I can take you through it a little bit slower well actually First let me just point out there’s a block here which prevents the water from dropping straight down onto that source block so because you don’t want it to obsidian I the same thing so this lets the water spread out without dropping straight down and you also need that so That the the column of lava can just disappear and there’s also a hole down here directly beneath where the lava gets dispensed and what ends up happening is the water actually reaches the bottom first and it flows towards the hole and that creates this sort of Little bulb at the bottom but it it’s it’s necessary to do this if you don’t want a lot of flowing everywhere so a little bit more slowly what’s what’s happening is you push the button lava comes out that’s the source block and it starts to spread out this is about four Seconds later so then at that point you can just pick up the lava source block and I have a button somewhere yeah this button triggers the water and now we can see that all happening as well as the lava you know continues downward it’s going to keep turning into that Cobblestone now we can see down here that the water is flowing in towards the hole I almost wrap myself there and that’s that’s what causes these little bulbs at the bottom just because the when the lava hits that that water that’s flowing inward it’s going to create smooth stone there then we can Pick that water back up yeah I mean all in all it’s it’s very simple mechanism and definitely very easy to build I mean all you can you can do this timing stuff in just one place and have it feed into all of the dispensers that go around whatever perimeter is you’re Trying to defend of course cobblestone isn’t exact the most durable material people can just mine right through it but I think it still creates a neat effect when you can create just a curtain of cobblestone around around a castle or something just on demand but maybe you’ll find a Use for it maybe you won’t either way I hope you learned something and thanks for watching you you Video Information
