Hello there right here we have the very first 1.28 snapshot which comes with new programmable skulk sensors brand new hidden structures with new suspicious gravel new Shadow repod loots as well smithing templates sniffer eggs pod plants and a bunch of other changes including being able to edit signs so Make sure you guys are subscribed and leave a like and let’s get into it we got some brand new structures in the game these are called Trail runes and I found one here they look really crazy they have a lot of different types of terracotta blocks of all sorts of Different types of colors if we dig outside them we can see we got the suspicious Sands are part of this besides the different Tierra causes also glazed terracotta in here we also got mud bricks of course dirt in here as well there’s also some Cobble down in here overall a really strange structure So I went ahead and plastered a few more of these into the world you can see these are very bizarre so it looks like the main structure that we’ve seen over there was this kind of tower part but then there’s also these kind of houses which are surrounding it and there’s Also these paths made out of like sand and Cobble and a bunch of other assorted blocks but we also have a brand new block that we’ve never seen before what is the difference between these two blocks this here is gravel and this is suspicious gravel that’s right you can Now find suspicious gravel along with suspicious sand so this is another way where you could use your brush to perform archeology and to get the items that come out of it we also got some new loot from these so if I run this command you can see what are all the different Types of things come from doing archeology in the new trails runes so you can see there is a wide assortment of different things you can get got weed we got a bunch of different types of dyes as well as color panes leads wooden hoes different types of hanging signs Beet seeds dead bushes colored candles gold nuggets coal flower pots emeralds clay as well as clay bricks but we also got some brand new smithing templates this one’s called wayfinder and this is what the entire outfit looks like looks like a bunch of squiggly lines and the Lines go all the way around the whole thing there’s also this missing template which is called host let’s see what it looks like so this one’s more straight lines all the way around you might also notice that we got some new types of Pottery images so we got one called Hal Which shows the wolf there’s also one called burn which shows a flame heart which shows a heart one called danger looks like it has a ghost on it let’s go ahead and make a pot and see what it actually looks like when I place it down Oh yeah oh the the poochy that’s so cool oh it’s a creeper okay creeper is the danger very nice artwork but that’s not the only place you could find suspicious to also find them in these ocean runes that are considered cold ocean runes so these are the ones in the more old types Of oceans so just removing some of the structures I found one right here here’s another one over here and there’s that come from the ocean runes that are cold are different you can see we got mostly a lot of iron axes and hose we also got Some of the similar loots but we also got some new Pottery shards so we got blade which shows the sword one called mourner and looks like a warden called explore one call it plenty oh yeah you can see the sword there’s the thing that looks kind of like the ward in this is The Explorer one might be like a map what do you guys think that one is this one’s the Plenty one to me it looks like a chest that’s being opened up what do you think and the ocean runes that come from the warm biomes which typically Have like the sand look can now also have suspicious sand hidden inside them you can see we’ve got one right here so do that you can find from this one consists of the new sniffer egg you see how crazy it looks it also comes with the snort Pottery one called shelter one Called angler let’s go ahead and see what these shards look like we put them together so the angular is the fishing rod the snort is the sniffer which kind of looks like a little turtle and shelter looks like a tree let’s check out that sniffer egg oh my goodness it’s So cool when you right click it just place this down a huge block it looks to be slightly smaller than a full block but is just as tall and it’s a little bit thinner on one side than the other side giving this kind of rectangle shape So the egg will actually hatch out the sniffer it also looks really cool it’s just like a pattern when it comes to suspicious Sands that come from the desert pyramids there’s also been some changes so we’ve seen like the archery the skull this is the prize being the Diamond but there’s also minor and if we look at what the miner is it’s a pickaxe you can see over time our sniffer egg is slowly cracking currently sitting at age one now it puts out the little green particles every time it cracks another age hear all these other ones cracking And when it comes to the desert Wells we have the arms up person but we also have this new one called Brewer the Brewer is potion with some liquid inside of it there’s also two more types of pottery shards they’re supposed to come from suspicious Sands from the structures but They currently aren’t coming from there let’s go ahead and check them out one’s called heartbreak the Heartbreak is the heart that’s broken and this is sheath and if you don’t know what a Sheaf is as I did not know what it is it stays bundles of grain put together and stood Up all leaning on each other so they stand up off of the ground so they can dry off now as a boy my father actually had to do this where he had to make these little teepees they always just call them teepees they never knew they Had a special name but it’s very labor intensive and then you come around you pick them all up and then these would go into a thrasher which would remove the grain that’s what this is supposed to illustrate though it’s a little bit hard to see our sniffer egg is cracking some More it’s Age Two now there’s also two more different types of smithing templates which are also supposed to be found inside the suspicious sand so the rise one looks like this fairly straight trim all the way around with these different kind of hooks and curves and The shaper one it’s more of a light trim on the edges and all four of these new trims are supposed to be found inside of the trail runes now the shaper armor set might be recognized this used to be the center but now the century has a Different look so this is what the century now looks like and you might recognize that one as actually being the Dune armor that’s because the Dune armor now has a brand new look and this is what Dune looks like pretty cool similar to like the eye one a little bit Different it’s a bit confusing but now it looks more like the tablet and each tablet kind of looks like what the armor produces but there is a fifth new smithing template this is called silence and you find this one inside of ancient cities there’s only a one percent chance Of finding this type of armor trim inside of an ancient city chest and this one is by far the coolest looking one of them all look at that guys definitely resembles the warden with the kind of ribs in the center and this trim is actually quite solid because we put this On diamond so the majority of this dark stuff is all the trim or most of the time with the trim we see it’s very subtle I definitely like this take on it hopefully they come out with more types of trims like this oh guys our sniffer egg cracked open we got baby sniffer Let’s watch these other ones uh break open as well look at all the snifflets so I guess if you build out of the eggs they’re eventually gonna hatch and then your entire wall and floor is just gonna walk away now when you breed two sniffers together they won’t just Produce a baby sniffer but instead we look on the ground we can see they drop a sniffer egg a lot of people were asking how this was gonna work with the breeding and this is how it works and then of course you place down the sniffer egg to hatch out the snifflet Now normally in place down the sniffer egg takes 20 minutes to hatch but he place it on top of moss it only takes 10 minutes because maybe this is like the normal block that sniffers would Place their eggs onto back in the ancient times now when sniffers sniff in the Ground not only can they find the new torch flower seed but they can also find this new pitcher pot that would go ahead and make some Farm ground and plant it this is what it looks like and if we bone Mill it then it turns into that it Does have a couple different stages before it gets to the fully grown one and if we break it we get the new item which is called pitcher plant this can be then planted down on any type of dirt-like block this is the exact plant that was leaked on Twitter I talked About a little while ago and it turns out they did bring it into the game now these pitcher plans are considered like a Too Tall plant where they have two collisions and when you stand on the little plant it lifts you off the ground and the bigger one’s a little bit taller Now since it is a pod it’s most likely that the thing that we planted is like the Pod or like the root and then the root gets bigger it has this huge plant on it and if we go ahead and put this into the crafting table we can make some Cyan dye out of it this could be an alternative way to get it it’s gonna be exciting to test out these new changes I do this live right after these Snapchat videos on this server with the viewers live over at my twitch it’s small portion makes into my videos so make sure to stop by and say hello guys we Got a brand new redstone block this is called calibrated skulk sensor the way you make it just a skulk sensor with some amethyst shards around them that will produce one of them when you first place it down know kind of act like a normal sculk sensor I think whatever is Making a vibration but it can actually be programmed by putting Redstone into the side which has a little amethyst thing so if I go ahead and turn this lever on we got a signal of 14 going into it if I walk around notice it doesn’t actually activate this is Because it only detects stuff that normally puts off a vibration with a power of 14. so here in my testing world I have a lectern with different pages for different signals if we set it to like flat pushing that signal into this side so now it’ll only read stuff that Is flapping like over here we have this B that’s flying around let me go ahead and block off so the B can’t be heard and if we place blocks beside it and break it or if the player hops around you can see it doesn’t activate it now When it comes to vibrations they did change what vibrations produce what Redstone signals this was done to prevent unwanted interference so one has to do with movement two has to do with Landing threes interacting with items or as unique mob actions as well as Nitros five is with dismounting or equipping Gear six is mounting or interact acting with the mob seventh to do with the mods or players can damage it is consuming items 9 is deactivating a block and is activating a Block Lebanon is changing a block 12 is destroying a block 13 is blocks being placed 14 has to do with Mobs and players being teleported or spawning and 15 has to do with mob and players dying or for an explosion so because they were simplified there’s probably some things that you can no longer detect but there is also some pretty cool ones like mob spawning so you can actually detect my mob spawns Into the game what questions might you have about all this speaking of different game events that got removed piston Contracting has been removed has been replaced with block deactivate same thing for dispenser failing piston extending replaced with block activate so here you can see the exact tag names That they use for each of them overall this is a really cool feature as this is what I want since the very beginning ability to control skulk sensors you can decide exactly what signal it should be listening for and the only part of redstone if that occurs this one makes Sculpt sensors extremely more useful inside of farms rather than having to place a wool around everything except for the one thing it’s trying to listen to you can leave it kind of open and just program it but specifically what it should be listening for this could help compact things like automatic tree farms Where you want to detect when the tree grows we don’t have a lot of room to work with in the very center and many more things let me know what else you think this could be used for so you guys might remember this little Contraption I showed where you can send vibration Signals long distances using skulk sensors so this thing knows going all the way around down and up and looping this is just done with skulk sensors as well as trap doors are making noises well that actually changes today they came out with a new ability for the Amethyst block which can be used so what happens is whenever a signal gets taken in by the skull sensor it could then put that vibration into the amethyst block and then that will be used to send that same exact signal type outwards in this case it’s being picked up by this Scott Sensor so instead of just making some type of noise we can actually specifically continue to send the exact same noise that it hurt this is called vibration resonance that went ahead and replaced my entire loop with the amethyst block and you can see how much faster the signal goes all the way Around instead of having to wait to actually power on the trapdoor it just immediately sends it so it moves at the same speed as vibrations move which makes it really nice for sending signals long distances and because this type of vibration is a very specific one this One in case was me placing on a block it heard that and using this with a combination of the calibrated sculk sensor you could have it so only we’ll listen to a certain vibration while you can have another whole line right beside it that’ll be listening to a different Type to get up to 15 different vibration signals being sent around that area and they wouldn’t mess with each other so it’s really cool to be able to make stuff that aren’t actually connected but in most cases at Redstone line will probably be better than using this Because in this one you have to encode it and then you also have to decode it which is much simpler with the calibrated skull sensor but still not as simple as just using Redstone but this will definitely have its uses let me know if any other cool things you could Use this for how many place down signs you get some new text up here says edit hanging sign a message that’s because you can just edit them by right clicking with a empty hand so if I right click now I’m go back inside of it and I can Write a message here and easily be able to come back in and edit it whenever you want but if you don’t want anybody to mess with your sign you can always add a wax onto it this will use it up and also permanently keep it that way it even Makes a noise I know everybody’s Really Gonna Love this feature because it’s so annoying when you make a mistake and remove the sign and place it back down again they also added in so not only can you write on one side of the sign you can also come around on the back side And right click it and add messages on the back side as well is that just crazy so depending on which way people come they can read a different message I know everybody has been waiting for this for a long time now in Creative you can add like teleport commands and other things Two signs when they’re right clicked so for those that work you have to make sure that they’re waxed otherwise when you try to go right click them you just end up opening the editing screen also keep this in mind any spot where you’re using a trying to like constantly right Click maybe like in FK fish farm you might need to change it out with the different blocks such as like a chest with a block on top of it now when it comes to a player walking over top of a block while walking through a block the Game now will play both noises with the top block being played at normal volume but the lower block being played at a lower volume as well as pitch I change the color of the withering particles so they’re more distinguished as well as the slow falling ones I’m placing Structures you now have more control how many blocks can be swapped out with a different type of block this is probably how the trail runes got their Randomness I also made some changes to interpolation for the display entities let’s take a look at all the bugs that Have been fixed this week including new Mobs that are discontinued fix a bug to do with Mobs shooting armor pieces in their main hand and dropping their weapon when given two armor pieces that were the same type instead of just ignoring it producing this rare type of Mob they normally can’t get in the world to be sure you collect this talk about all the details on how to get this rare mob in this video here which I’ll link below from a distance hanging signs would have Z fight occurring on their text compared to the background ever Since candles came out we noticed that if you would shift and then right click a baby camel you can actually see inside this inventory but they’re not supposed to have it inventory so they went ahead and removed it when it comes to the new bamboo Rass notice that both these boats Have their hitboxes touching the ground but the raft itself appears to be above the ground so they move the visualization edition of it downwards which shouldn’t actually affect how you sit in it compared to before now most of the time when you grow up a tree with leaves the leaves don’t degrade unless They’re too far away from one of the logs supporting them but there was a bug to do with cherry trees when you grow up a new tree where old one was it would sometimes cause the old leaves from the previous tree to instantly break off and Drop their items I noticed this in my automatic Cherry Tree Farm if you haven’t seen that video be sure to check it out it’s really cool but we were having the saplings end up at the top of the tree if they were going to squished through and push to the top To fix quite a few different bugs to do with the sniffer including this problem here where the sniffer would try to sniff out a seed in a location far out that it couldn’t actually reach and would actually cause the sniffer to fail because he was trying to sniff it right Where this fence was and only when it’s removed it’ll work previously sniffers weren’t able to actually sniff out any block that had anything on top of it even if it wasn’t colliding so now they fix it so sniffer should be able to find seeds even if there’s like grass or Flowers on top to fix a bunch of other bugs with sniffers like Z fighting with their ears their walking animation sniffers following Specter players the baby version of the sniffer will look just like Bedrock Edition sniffers won’t continue to dig even after it did sniffers are smart enough to avoid Things that will damage them so you should be able to have more fun with these big eyes when slime blocks and honey are placed down as a block you can see there is this obviously Big Cube but if you look inside of it you can see there’s like a little slime Cube there And a slightly bigger honey Cube inside of it but these cool looking cute inside of Cubes weren’t appearing inside of the items so they added those in so you get these really cool cubes inside of Cubes since 1.16 it was possible to actually dye other people’s dogs notice I can’t Make this dog sit up because it’s not mine but I can still come in here and put dye on it and change out the collar and since players shouldn’t have control over other people’s pets they went ahead and removed this now you’re probably aware that you could use a channeling Trident to make a brown mushroom and normally when you get soup out of it it’s just a normal mushroom soup but if you feed it the Special flowers you could then make it have an effect when you use a bowl on it so in this case we Use a Wither Rose so if we drink this we can get the Wither effect but to fix this bug where you give them a flower and then when you leave in a pond rejoining if you would try to get some of that lovely flower soup you end up Just getting normal soup that’s been fixed and I made this automatic farm where you can get suspicious stews from brown mushrooms automatically decorative Paws will now showed the correct image in the hand for what it looks like when you place it down when before sometimes It was sure that you have a bunch of different images on it we place it down it actually be completely blank there was oddly incurring when using a debug stick to rotate the decorative pots notice when you right click it it causes another decorative putt to go flying out Of it I might do the same thing when using the set block command this of course wasn’t intended so it’s been fixed when it comes to the Shadows put off by entities the bigger the shadow would get it would cause more frames drops so this side is your frames per Second and If These Bars get taller it means it’s getting worse where on the right hand side these are TPS how well the server is handling it notice when Mega Shadows get placed in it really drastically hurts the frames which it shouldn’t do now the new pink petals When placed in had a block model which had a lot different calculations but the player wouldn’t even be able to see here you can notice that the frames are really low because of this but when the model was fixed notice how the frames got much much better so they implemented This new type of pink petal you might remember back in the day when magma blocks came out they could destroy water sources above them randomly This was later changed because they’re creating too many up updates hurting optimization promise some of the features of the mega block were still existed in the game so Notice in this world the server which is on the right hand side is handling it quite well but when the floor is made up magma blocks all of a sudden it spikes up insanely High making a server run almost 100 times worse so I went ahead and removed that outdated feature which Resolves this if you update the model of a lot of iron bars and what’s causing the game to freeze they also fixed some other issues to do with the player desyncing when writing something such as this one with TNT now join me in testing this out live over at my twitch or
