Building the Ultimate Minecraft Factory: Step-by-Step Tutorial
Today, we are going to dive straight into a very first tutorial video ever, and we’ll be showing you how to build an industrial factory design that was made and released at the start of last year. So let’s begin.
Resources Required
Here is a list of resources required to build the factory:
- Terracotta: 1342 (21 Stacks)
- Stripped Spruce Log: 469 (7.5 Stacks)
- Stone Bricks: 366 (6 Stacks)
- … (and so on)
Layout and Wall Construction
Start by placing down some polished Granite blocks in a 47 by 29 layout, making sure to leave a bit of a gap at the front for the loading door. Then start adding blocks around the corners and every seven blocks onwards from that, add a couple more of the same. For the inner walls, use a mixture of terracotta and bricks. Add texturing and fine details to the walls by alternating between bricks and polished granite for the exposed corners and pillars.
Roof Construction and Detailing
Build the first wall layer on top of the ledge, then fill in the outer ledge with a blend of stone brick and Andesite stair blocks to form detailing on the exterior. Build up the next segment of the factory walls, making sure to fill up the pillar sections. Leave gaps for the windows and add lighting blocks. Fill in the windows with scaffolding blocks and add windowsills and ledges with spruce trap doors.
Chimney Construction
Build chimneys using a mixture of deep slate bricks, cracked deep slate bricks, and deep slate. Add campfires for smoke and particle effects to bring life into the factory.
Final Touches
Add a frame made out of polished Andesite blocks and iron bars to make a proper retractable door. Add iron bars under the arched roof overhanging section and a small door for loading extra goods in and out of the factory. Finish by adding spikes to the top of the chimneys.
And with that, you’ve just built an industrial-style factory. We hope this tutorial has been useful and you like the design. If you did, make sure you hit that like and subscribe button. Until next time, see you later. Bye bye!
