This is Raj and today we’re gonna be talking about the piercing enchantment in Minecraft and what it exactly does so let’s get started so the piercing enchantment was introduced in 1.14 update along with crossbows it’s obviously a crossbow enchantment so the maximum level it has is level 4 and how The piercing enchantment works is it through it passes through entities so rather than just passing through one mob it can pass through multiple mobs so how this works is it’s the level of the enchantment plus one so if it’s piercing one it’ll go through two mobs if it’s Piercing four it’ll go through five mobs so obviously you can do this with an anvil to enchant it I did the wrong way for some weird reason there you go so to just give you an example of how this works I’ve loaded a bunch of zombies into these little channels and I’ve have The crossbow set up here so that’s a level one so you saw it hit about two zombies and then with this one it’s a level four piercing so let’s see how many hits and it pierced through a bunch of them so clearly you can see that a Piercing four is pretty good so I’m not sure how many times mobs will line up in a line like that but still it’s pretty powerful so the last thing I should mention is that piercing is incompatible with multi shot and what multi shot does is it shoots multiple arrows and Different directions from a crossbow so hopefully I gave you a good idea of what piercing can do for a crossbow I mean it is pretty useful and pretty decent so if you liked this video please give me a like if you like my content and keep wanting me to keep making content give Me a subscribe I love to hear comments about what videos I should be doing and stay classy Video Information
