What I want to do for my next video and then I got distracted going on a rabbit hole ideas uh but I think I want the next video to be this uh I’m gonna I think I’m gonna work on this thumbnail moment true I think I’m gonna what am I trying to say

I think I want to do this terraforming for the next video oh yeah these clouds I forgot about these um I noticed in B-Dubs last video he had some interesting clouds and I remember playing around with a mod that did this a long time ago so I tracked down

It’s pretty cool I didn’t I remember not liking it at the time uh this is what it is better clouds I remember not liking it at the time but I think uh I think they’ve improved it it looks really cool especially at sunset um time’s at night

Look at that it actually like affects oops actually affects the cloud color I think vanilla might do this but I think this Does it Better and then morning too I think and the clouds get more dense during like thunderstorms really cool bee dubs yeah B-Dubs okay weather clear oh what’s this

How do we get out of it wait what is this there we go uh I will say terraforming is awfully hard to Market as in title on thumbnail really hmm so then I continually struggle with I mean I would prefer what I would like to do is um

Okay one problem here is the clouds are at the exact level I need to build up what I would like to do is do a big build here for that video too but I don’t want to spend another entire month uh on the next video but also those again take forever anyways

I don’t know the other option is continuing to work on this castle that I worked on last episode um we do have some interesting stuff we have the chapel a lot of the other stuff is can it be kind of repetitive I just have to brainstorm some twist um where’d it go some twists for it other than just Cliff or mountain right uh biggest video that’s true my big the biggest video on my channel is literally just me making roads so yeah things do act a little differently on my channel it seems like Uh make up sod make a facade easy what do you mean for the mountain I don’t know what you mean They don’t call you Mr Rhodes for nothing that’s true Uh Castle looks fantastic must give some pretty epic viewing points thank you yeah I was um the other night I was just standing over here this is another area I want to work on but I was just standing over here and just looking at the view okay right there we go Hang on let me turn my fan on real quick Okay there we go Uh still confused why out of all the videos that’s the one that blew up me too honestly the my most popular video before that was a resource pack update video from my years ago which kind of makes sense because that research or that yeah that resource pack was in some massive

Um some massive mod pack back in the day But the closest one to that was like behind that was I think my Tuscan Castle which was at like 60 000 views it’s weird uh better clouds is the mod for the clouds uh yeah I’m I’ve been really into Axiom I’ve been I was following it for on Twitter for a long time

Um I guess not really following it but uh yeah that’s that’s probably true Mike swamp um yeah I was following Axiom on on uh Twitter for a while kind of um but I wasn’t like super interested in it but then I saw a mog’s video actually

And decided to give it a shot and it’s actually like way more useful than I kind of expected it to be and I don’t know what mod is breaking my chunk loading right now but it’s a little annoying Uh let’s see oh my God we’re almost at 60 viewers right now what the heck and we got that many viewers in a while on the Stream um let’s see Scroll through I feel like I missed some messages so I’m scrolling through the chat oh yeah yeah there’s 60 viewers on YouTube echo there’s only two viewers on Twitch it’s so pointless to stream on Twitch at this point there’s usually like three people that are chatting on on Twitch Yeah that’s true I’ve been trying to I’ve been trying to get the eight years thing into every every title lately oh oh yeah only 17 likes guys come on leave a like man I don’t know what is up in my throat right now um what was it gonna say

In just uh just a few days we’ll hit nine years in this world on September I think second or third so I’ll be able to I’ll be able to add one more year to it to the titles okay let’s play around with this Uh okay Is this no I want this shape I think Sure uh Somehow 11 years is less catchy than 10 years I mean 10 years 10 is just a better number I think for some reason it sounds More impressive I don’t know like if you can last 10 years in a world of course you can last 11. uh okay I forget I totally forgot what brush I was using for this I think it was this one this is also I started building this in just uh archeon

So it looks a lot more uniform over here and this is all Axiom I did see uh what’s his name arcaniacs asking his supporters if uh they’d be interested in porting some archeon features to Axiom so hopefully they end up doing that especially Loft would be so nice oh wait

This is Stone damn I guess doesn’t really matter it’s my undo or redo I mean at that not that just redo Redo control of Z okay Great what that is not there we go um 12 years sounds kind of good next year next year’s videos might pop off yeah 12 is a better number than 11 too 11’s just a boring number I don’t know um yeah Minecraft building has changed a lot lately This is this this is not maybe I went over it with like this afterwards hmm what did I do here Maybe I used actually I think I used what is it weld Also let’s do note about that uh this is Axiom a x i o m new building mod Yeah this is what I did I’m pretty sure oh it’s gonna be kind of a mess but we can clean it up later Yeah it’s gonna be a big mess actually that’s okay Uh this looks insane but most of it being in Shadows kind of takes away from it you know I’ve seen a lot of people say that but honestly I feel like it works perfectly for what I want uh let me finish this section that I’ll show you show you what I mean foreign Project where you’re planning on playing it for a while was it sort of spontaneous uh that I mean this definitely came after I was playing in this for a while but then this just kind of came to me out of nowhere um I feel like the Shadows make it look

Even bigger yeah me too so when I was uh going forward with this texturing with like the Deep slate up to the light gray uh concrete powder is kind of this effect like I was wanting it to look like there were Shadows this is maybe a bit extreme but

I don’t know I don’t think I don’t think it’s too it’s beautiful uh I don’t think it’s too big of a deal and I’m definitely not gonna go put glow like and all over it so has it really Pride that’s crazy No I used I’m pretty sure just archeon for that uh and then most of these clips the only part I’m using I’ve used Axiom before is like this section right here I use Loft without archeon for all these Hills this is the only stuff that’s Axiom what’s the difference between Axiom and archeon

Uh well Axiom has a lot less um features currently archaeon archaeon has like Loft to generate massive stuff like this and just a bunch of like specific tools like uh arches they can generate arches Bridges uh roads this is kind of at the same this is pretty close to the

Same level as just like basic world edit I would say um except obviously also archeon is all through commands like chat commands and this obviously has a visual element to it this feels like cheating I mean it’s not really any different than using world at error archeon

Also this is a creative test world I want to clarify that I got a comment literally right before I went live from someone saying they saw me they saw me playing in creative mode so they’re not going to subscribe it’s like okay cool exposed what what what whoa okay All right that actually doesn’t look too bad uh how does it feel to know you have to place this all down in survival later terrible really bad uh but I’m gonna do it in sections I’m gonna take it a little bits at a time also I’m I’m only gonna do I’m not

Gonna do like deep slate and tough again since I have the Shadows it’s going to be so pointless to do deep slate under there I might do um wow wow Pride I might do some uh like gray concrete pattern like gray wool around the top

But I’m not I’m not even decided on that yet what am I gonna do with the shores I want to do a big beach under here so this is all like really Elden ring inspired um and something they have under their Cliffs is they usually have like one like a big beach In a lot of spots so I want to do that at least for a portion of it One thing I am missing about not having this on a server is uh the clean light command which just fixes uh um lighting glitches tier four member not subscribed yet Back you know I’ve been kind of thinking about setting up uh a second channel to do like behind the scenes for this stuff like obviously I mean I stream everything but I still get people asking me how I do certain things Am I a musician I am not but I I do like music a lot can I No I don’t wanna I don’t wanna put like foliage on this or on the cliffs I mean just do that yeah like using the second channel for just more in-depth videos because this these streams are like way too long and uh uh not really digestible to watch back later just to learn tips

Um yeah Pride I’m considering uploading more than once a month can you imagine uh if you want to talk YouTube strategy just hit me up all right we’ll do sounds good it’s something I’ve I haven’t really cared about until like fairly recently and I have been thinking a lot about it so

Yeah I’d definitely be down Okay I think this is probably good enough oh hello I guess I miss clicked at one point that’s okay I spent a long time not caring about it too 10 years or so yeah yeah I mean you’ve been killing it lately Yeah I don’t think I don’t think we need to go too crazy with the detailing here I think the scale and alone is already impressive enough that’s something I’ve really been thinking about with builds lately is like uh where the detail is most important I guess Uh YouTube does like longer content especially with Minecraft but filler is bad for retention yeah um Let’s do let’s do this air and just cut off the tops of these rocks Oh wait is this gonna do what I yeah I guess this works Oh Just destroyed something over there it’s okay Um been doing the same thing with builds bigger rather than more complex yeah like there’s definitely a balance like if you look at I mean I think a good example is probably my last or my old castle um like I just entirely rebuilt it this is a new one

And this is the old one the scale is exactly the same like maybe slightly larger but this just looks so busy and messy compared to this I know some people prefer the old one but to me this just looks like a mess there’s so many different blocks added

In here like stone brick the spruce fences and some spots iron bars definitely a balance you gotta find how build Styles change over the years yeah you can really see well up until recently I guess you could really see that in my world especially because I’ve been like actually building uh

Like actually trying for probably like seven seven years in this world and uh yeah you can see the progression for sure I think you should just add uh like stone brick or something as a Cornerstone to the new one right yeah okay good idea old one feels very 2015 new one feels

Find a nice fog mode for a while yeah I am at 120. it is simple fog control did I have to build this myself I don’t know if this is public yet I might have had to compile it myself let me look it up Uh no it’s updated 120. and if you’re curious here’s my settings for it it is public okay good I know for a while there was kind of a lack of bog mods looks kind of like Minecraft if you look at it from the right direction true I can kind of see it okay

The one thing well not the one thing but one thing I really wish this had is something similar to Loft so I could just like cover that instantly uh uh there we go you see his custom fog but it’s being discontinued since 118 yeah

I think that might be the one that I had to compile myself because I found some random GitHub user that had updated it but they hadn’t they posted the version so I uh filed it myself and was using it for a while until this one came out okay

How do you get clouds like that it is better clouds bogging clouds alone make me want to play Minecraft yeah I don’t know what it is about fog and then now the wait now these clouds but it just makes like the game looks super inspiring me like I just wanna

I want to play in this world I want to build around these clouds especially like this getting this like foggy effect up here is so sick I love it But let’s turn it off because I don’t want it right now uh okay let’s fly around under here really quick and see if there’s any gaps in the terrain it’s one here because I want to fill it entirely with blocks let’s just do this ah there we go

Oh yeah Bobby too being able to see I have mine on 48 chunks right now I think being able to see that far is just such a game changer it’s something I would have do I whenever Bedrock came out that I was so jealous of that and like

For a long time I really contemplated switching to bedrock because of the high render distance glad I didn’t but um yeah it’s just such a game changer especially when you’re trying to build up an immersive an immersive world hopefully one day they actually optimize the game where you can just do that

Without needing like 10 mods this entire Cliff is uh actually a disguise for an egg Farm true yeah dang it how’d you know that was gonna be the big twist in the next episode uh okay PC specs um what do I have got a ryzen 7 5800x and an RTX 3070.

Those are the most important ones probably also have like 48 gigs of RAM and I don’t even know how much how many terabytes of storage oh that’s what I did okay I just remembered what I did for the wow I could have made that way easier I just

Filling it yeah so I can one problem I had when I was texturing that uh the method I use is I go I mask under air and then replace all the light gray wool under air with whatever block but that was also making like these blocks here get textured which I don’t want

Because I’m trying to give it that gradient look so the lighter block on top and then gradually going down but if I have like lighter blocks starting down here too it’s not gonna look good so if I get rid of the air above those blocks then we won’t have that that problem Challenge build out of only dirt and use item frames and map art to texture every block used that sounds terrible um so what did I do wrong oh yeah I’m Not Gonna Fill This in game yeah that’s not hmm how did I do this before I know I did this somewhere Oh there we go maybe no huh someone said yeah War hmm I know I did this somewhere but where and how maybe it’s only with fast async world edit that I can do that Which is server only at some point I’m gonna have to transfer this world back to a server anyways because I need to do more roads I can’t do it now it’s gonna take too long foreign I guess I don’t need to do that right now uh shift world edit command

And then like a while later they emailed me again saying uh never mind basically are they basically just said like these skills don’t fit with our team or some something along those lines you know but I I think they actually just emailed the wrong person which is not a good sign

Uh does not sound like they got their uh their stuff in order yeah I saw I know that uh Mojang is looking for a texture artist actually UI artist which I have no no uh why can’t you think of the word no experience in um
