More today we’re going to be playing around with a new mod that is released called uh Axiom it’s not a cult it’s not the medicine it’s a Minecraft mod just wanna Just Wanna clarify that so let’s just get into it um good might need to get a little snack soon get it

I just ate what happened I just ate a uh might be a well yeah I guess it actually might be a cold who knows um I just hit a bunch of bagel pizza things they were pretty good uh let’s see face looks so cursed with Android emojis

I’m seeing the Google ones I mean either way it looks pretty cursed so this is the mod check this out uh this is wait what did I just do did I do anything I don’t think so this is crazy um I’m still trying to learn it a little bit uh

Oh I just found oh I just I just found a new feature okay crazy um yeah this is a new building mod that has released to kind of try to replace like if you want to be like like as a professional builder it’s very hard to um

There’s a lot of there’s a lot of mods or plug-ins server plugins you have to have to like have all the tools you want at your disposal and I think this is trying to replace that so it’s just one mod you don’t have to have a server to

Set it up uh you can just you can just use it right from your uh single player game you’re welcome for showing you I’ve been following it on Twitter for weeks so you didn’t do anything but thank you I guess uh but the main thing I’m still learning

There’s a lot of stuff to learn like this rock tool I Really Wanna works like a 3D program yeah exactly I really want to learn this um one of the big things I use in archaeon is the boulder brush and this seems like it has potential to be similar to that but Um I want it to be like taller I want like one Thin tall Boulder it looks like it can only change how big a round it is there’s a lot of uh can make custom assets he uses a brush I don’t know that’s a good question

Uh there’s a lot of there’s a lot of features that I want to recommend like the road whoops the road tool from uh archeon the road command from archeon is something I really I use a lot and I kind of need um but the one thing I’m using a lot

Already is the painting brush you can I mean this is like the best way to texture I feel like I’ve already kind of textured everything that needs textured but because we can kind of Give an example here like this is gonna be huge for texturing it’s gonna be so much easier you don’t

Have to you don’t have to do it then like back up and look at it I mean if I was doing this just in regular world edit uh I would have to do like this and then I would have to be right up on it texturing it then I have to fly back

Look at it but with this I can be way back here texturing it it’s really nice still have to install it and install it server side though I mean I guess if you want it on a server then uh you would have to but this is uh this is single player noise What do you mean Foreign Yeah this is definitely going to be like this is going to be the main thing I use this for I think unless they add like uh the road command and that type of stuff Um right like because I have my creative world on a server uh well yeah I mean if this adds all the uh features that like archaeon and stuff like that has then you wouldn’t really need to have a server anymore also this this updates so much faster like let’s see let’s grab this

Which okay the the selection tools are way better as well uh but I can copy and paste this And enter it’s instantly there it’s not like it doesn’t take a minute it’s mostly on a server so people like you and Nemitz can pop on ah yeah I don’t know I haven’t I haven’t tried it on a server yet I did actually I wanted to

Don’t think so because that’s not what it seemed like it was doing Um what is this yeah like what I don’t know this one’s a little weird too it’s just like a giant paintbrush it seems like and they got different presets like grass they got dirt ground which is a mix of packed mud coaster and regular dirt they got gravel ground Ertl ocean floor it’s interesting Biome painter that’s gonna be a nice one does it automatically or does it instantly update Because I know in uh oh it does nice I know in world that you gotta re-log even in single player you gotta re-log for it to update Um I suggest turning one uh the corner building wait turning the corners of the buildings into sort of Stone trimming to separate them visually because I mean the tower is blend a lot into the buildings behind them um I think I’m okay with it where’d you find this here about this I’ve been seeing it on Twitter for a couple of weeks now but it just released to beta yesterday I think yeah exactly probably uh noise painter this one seems interesting I think it’s going to take a lot of learning though

Uh let’s do a mask I think this is going to be a good way to to uh since no slab type double I think this is gonna be a good way to texture the roads quickly Let’s play around with this we need four blocks one dirt one course dirt one rooted Dart and then packed mud And it even gives you a visual representation of the noise map which is so nice we’ll turn regular dirt down uh can I like wait what what did I just do is still a course start one thing I don’t like is it’s very very small and it’s hard to tell especially

With these blocks what it is and then you can just paint that on how crazy is that So sick But it’ll take a while to get the uh the Oh oh scale okay yeah I like that okay and then let’s turn that up I really wish we had like some sort of like grassy dirt Also wonder if there’s a way to like Um seems so good but so boring to use I don’t know how is it any more boring than like world edit though Um so sick of typing world edit percentages yeah You have grassy dirt when I get Mossy sandstone and mossy mud bricks Fair We do need some sort of Mossy Sandstone isn’t it didn’t they add it and like uh dungeons or something and people were theorizing we were getting in vanilla in the desert update that we still haven’t gotten yet Uh let’s actually mess with well I wonder if there’s a way to mask like next to a block near neighbor okay let’s mess around with that let’s clear I don’t know if there’s a way to like I just delete it oh I can’t okay neighbor grass let’s do delete these

Mossy Sandstone or no not Moss what am I saying mossy cobblestone and then is that coarse dirt I think it is let’s actually hop out of this and let’s try to make like a decent gradient mossy cobblestone and let’s grab all our dirts boom boom boom and then packed mud

Boom and then I saw I think it was B-Dubs I saw use Brown mushroom blocks on a road and I actually liked it Uh that goes into that and then that around the edges one thing I love about the texturing too is you can just lay out a palette and then go in here and you just pick block it and you just texture or you just right click

We’ll replace that with I guess packed mud but the grass from Cliffs for the grass from Cliffs I’m not sure you mean uh and you can now add more neighbors into any okay gotcha okay cool uh so let’s do that let’s do neighbor Aussie cobblestone neighbor hood of dirt Master independent no noise I know I know I’m just saying the only reason I was using that was to texture the whole thing at once rather than texturing the with this mask that I’m doing now um what am I doing now let’s see how that works yeah okay too much cobblestone

Why use packed mud when you can use Moss block I don’t want to use Moss block two entirely different blocks too much of that Okay then Brown mushroom block Well well well how you doing fix uh then I need to do I think we’re done with oh I need to add a neighbor act mode grass is too much I hardly did any grass it’s fine uh did I do oh that’s way too little

Area for the um the patron statues and then we’ll probably have some sort of other structures throughout like a village or something love that it connects to the Finland Meadows yeah it kind of worked perfectly with that it helps blend it a little bit better You know I do need to roughen up this a bit see oops I need a I wonder if there’s like a fill tool to just like entirely fill underground here I guess I can’t do it yet because of this but oh did I whoops where did I do that
