Hello and welcome to my channel creative gaming my name is dothia and this is another redstone video if you guys have been following my channel for a while and you might have or you might not have uh then you know that i built this redstone sand door Sometime around a year ago i think and sadly it’s no longer working in 1.18 and above which a lot of people have been asking me to find a solution or fix and trust me i have i’ve been playing around with it for quite a while without having any luck but now in 1.19 I finally think i have a solution for you guys and it took a lot it took it took a lot of time i attempted to redesign a bedrock door which i didn’t have much hope for but i tried i’ve gone back in time i watched some of mumbo Jumbo’s old videos which this used to be a sandal that worked and now it’s not and this over here again we’re having the same issue it goes up fine but it destroys the block on the way down here on the other hand we do in fact have a functioning door As you can see it it didn’t destroy a block so i’m gonna teach you how to build this what you’re gonna need is seven sticky pistons three normal pistons full observers one redstone totes six redstone repeaters nine blocks of sand nine pieces of redstone dust and two wooden buttons It’s very important that it’s wooden buttons it’s something to do with timing and there are very few places you can actually place the button i’ve tried a lot of different things and you you just build it exactly like i do and then you need a A random block of your own choice i have just chosen black wool in this instant so first you want to place sticky pistons uh in a 2×3 grit so three sticky peasants at the bottom and three sticky pistons on top then on top of here you’re going to place three regular pistons In a 9×9 grit you’re going to place your sand on top of the pistons this where the top sand block is is going to be your floor level so you’re going to have six blocks down because we’re digging a little bit all right so down here you’re going to dig out five and Technically you don’t have to do that but i i’m gonna do it anyway and then here we’re going to place black wool into the sticky pistons we’re placing repeaters all the way along and we’re placing them in full clicks here and here we’re going to be placing Redstone dust and then in the last space here we’re placing one piece of black wool on top of the redstone repeaters we’re going to place observers that go up if you if you build them in a specific way you’ll see the arrow but as long as the red dot goes up you Should be fine on top of the observers you’re placing black wool in one layer like this and then when you meet the sand you’re building two out all the way along so we have like a weird l-shaped corner on top of these flux you’re placing repeaters into the sand and these need To be in two ticks and again we’re placing redstone dust here and here with a redstone torch here then we build one block out to place a sticky piston that goes downward and then we can delete this plug again then we build up here so that we can have a Observer that goes from this block and looks and and sends a signal this way so we have the dot here from here you’re placing a block that goes diagonally up and then build out four on top of the piston and these four pieces of wool you’re going to place redstone And then obviously this is going to be your floor level so you place a block there and a block there and you place your buttons now it should be working all right it worked from one way and it worked from the other way now you might be like oh but i can just Put a block here and then move uh the buttons here i’ve tried everything i’ve tried everything this is the only two places i found a button actually working yeah you can see there is an issue right now it should have reset the thing is that if you modify the Buttons anymore than this uh the observer gets stuck down which means that the door is not going to react correctly or it’s going to destroy your sandblocks so this is literally the only two places it’s going to work thanks so much for watching this video if you like this video uh like and Subscribe and for a comment on what other redstone things that i should build see ya Video Information
