I am so excited for today’s build prompt which has been sent in by none other than my three-year-old nephew who is so excited to see Auntie build him a Star Wars inspired build now while I have watched all the Star Wars films I can’t say I’m super nerdy about them or really That knowledgeable and I’ll probably make some mistakes just letting you know all of you keyboard Warriors but thank goodness for Google and Star Wars concept art and helping me out into designing this build I am going to be trying my hand at designing a Tatooine architectural build we’ll see how it Goes first off the terrain is going to need a little love as Tatooine was a much more desert-like biome so it’s time to replace this grass with sand and with that done it’s time to grab all of those blocks we’d like for the build pallet which I have handily placed right here We’re going to include lots of sandstone type blocks for the desert theme I’m also thinking it might be cool to pull in some Spruce buttons or trap doors for a bit of detailing and a bunch of decorated pots for even more details with our build pallet in place let’s Start laying out this build with our small space of 16 blocks by 16 blocks I’m going to have to be a little careful of where I place our build so we still have the ability to add the details on the outside and I would really like a Space for a path to go around the side of the building to a shed or something like that I’m going to go for a 1 and a half story build I want some height on this build but from what I remember of the movie these houses in Tatooine Aren’t overly tall so I’m going to try and stick with that theme the base of the house is going to be smooth Sandstone with a ring of sandstone stairs for the top roof area in the front of the build we’ll jet out a couple of sections for some depth And add an extended doorway and above the Sandstone stairs of the roof we’re going to be adding some smooth slabs and stairs to create some shapes to stop it from being a full flat roof style I’m also going to put in some windows into this build by using the stairs in the roof Portion next up we’re going to be adding our path by using the inside texture of the mushroom blocks and sub stripped Birchwood these blocks provide just enough color difference from the sand to stand out as a good path eventually we’ll extend this path around the side Of the house once I figure out what sort of shed I’d like to put over there originally I was thinking maybe maybe I should try building a small building attached to the side of the house but decided to try out a lean to First and thought it looked great plus it’s a Great way to utilize some banners in this build spoiler I do end up removing the banners but they were nice while they lasted since this is a Star Wars build the new 1.20 decorated pots earn an excellent addition in our lean to and strew in around the rest of our build as Well as some barrels for storage and of course we can’t forget some dead bushes detailing around the build I don’t know about you but looking at how this is coming together I am really liking it now Star Wars does have a bit of a futuristic electrical component to it And I wanted to make sure this house moved past just being a desert house and more into a Star Wars home so I added in an antenna on the roof using a copper block and lightning rods and a couple of lever and lightning rod features on the House itself and I think that elevates the build a lot even with those few changes what else do you think I should add to this build to make it even more Star Wars themed and after a few more circles around the build adding in a few buttons Adjusting the shed and details on the house I think we can safely call the exterior of this build complete and even without touching the interior I am really happy with how it’s all come together kind of makes me want to make a whole Star Wars inspired desert village hm I do love my Minecraft biome Transformations but let’s talk about the interior there is surprisingly a lot of space inside of here with enough room for a desk and a chair some plant life cooking space and even a couch bed plus the heightened roof makes an excellent Place to hide some more modern lighting with the end rods iron bars and iron block maybe not quite what you would see in a Tatooine home but I’m going to roll with it and I think it looks pretty good the more and more I build here in our One chunk challenge the more comfortable I’m getting with Interiors which has been awesome and fun maybe they aren’t quite as detailed as they could be but I am still super happy with how far I’ve come but that’s a wrap on our Star Wars inspired Tatooine house design continue Offering me new build prompts down in those comments while I have a list of them to go through I’m always open for more suggestions if you did enjoy this video don’t forget to like and consider for subscribing if you haven’t already thanks so much for
