Dad’s EPIC Sawmill and Library Adventure!

Hello citizens of the internet welcome to the dad’s guy to Minecraft fire Tamers smpp well today I thought we’d start off uh before we get started on our buildings which we’re going to do quite a few of today we’re going to do uh The Sawmill I think it’s what that’s

Called it’s um the place that we can uh turn our stuff from the um Foresters Hut uh the wood that we get from there into usable other things like uh planks and fences and whatnot um and then we’ll on to build the library as well uh but

Before before we do that I want to actually do a silk touch because we can do silk touch on our Tinker tools by a silky enchantment so let’s go ahead and uh do that really quickly okay so to do this we’re going to make rose gold and

We can make rose gold by doing equal parts uh copper and gold so let’s go ahead and just throw bunch of stuff in here here um and this will alloy together equally once we uh get these things melted down and you can put the raw stuff in here it doesn’t matter

It’ll it’ll smelt it all down there we go we can see we got four of the rose gold ingots okay um we should get even more here once these melt there we go we can see it all kind of alloying together there perfect okay so let’s move that down to

The bottom I think it’s where we want it right and if we come over here you can see that that’s where the rose gold is now if we uh get a couple of these ingots going here molten rose gold nice we’ll do a do a couple we

Go Okay then if we come over to a crafting table and we put the rose gold in the middle like that then we surround it by a string we get silky cloth now we can go into our handy dandy little thing here we can put our tool in the middle

And then we can put um these around it and get ourselves a silky upgrade perfect okay now this is the same as silk touch um it’ll be really handy and I’m going to put this also on my hammer uh as well because um being able to just

Get raw ore is going to be really helpful going forward okay and there we go you can see that the there’s a now pink on the outside of uh both the hammer right here and then also if I switch to the pickaxe we got the the

Pink little nubbies on the end as well and this will give us silk touch so let’s go down into our mines we haven’t been down here in a long time um not since we actually got the mine Colony up and running with their mines so let’s go

Down here and see if we can dig up some ore with silk touch and maybe find a mine shaft or something and and hopefully find another dragon egg go get some lapis or this is really just to give our U our smelter some something to do um our Miner is not

Producing um the the stuff as much as I had hoped or as fast as the smelter can smelt so just going ahead and grabbing things and there’s this dungeon over here that um we had found at one point in time I think I lit it up but I can’t

Remember if I went in here and got all the stuff inside uh oh there’s still uh so bad guys spawning in here so I’m not sure yeah there’s definitely a chest oh they can they can hit pretty far I need to get over there see if I can uh light that

Up all right well they keep on spawning so let’s see if we can just get that chest all right and there is no dragon eggs in here that’s too bad um what is this I have no idea what this is is this a underground city oh I think it’s like a create

Underground city it is Interesting it’s like somebody’s Camp huh and then here’s a m shaft all right that’s super weird it’s like somebody set up a base underneath my base um hello who set up a base underneath my base that’s not cool I guess technically it’s not underneath directly it looks like

It’s actually it looks like it’s going over towards where obsidian’s base possibly is I wonder if this is their starter base I guess we should look to see if we can find uh some chest down here right here’s some chests and a little area here let’s go and see what

We have paper nothing special there this One uh still no dragon egg we’re going to keep on looking around well we didn’t get our dragon egg which I hope to get but we did get bunch of ore for our smeltery over here uh so let’s go ahead and uh load Mr smelter dude up with um

Inventory okay so let’s go ahead and we’ll make the uh Sawmill and the library so for the Sawmill since this is more of an advanced building we’re going to put three of the wooden axes like that and then put planks down like this that gets a

Sawmill and then for the Li Library it’s a book around the bottom like that and there’s our library okay so now we’ll be able to get these two buildings going and I think the best place um to do Sawmill is over by our wood cutters Hut so they’re in close proximity and the

Library I believe uh I’m pretty sure this is the fact goes on the backside of the University so we can go ahead and I think this is the entrance right here uh that’s why it’s kind of cut out like that uh so let’s go ahead and put it

Down and we’ll move it around with the uh the placing tool here okay and we want to go um Spruce medieval level five okay and we want to see where this looks like on the outside all right uh back it out here a little bit make sure

That we have the the door lined up properly right this might look cool like this but let’s go ahead and see what this looks like level three and that stays the Same the footprint is basically the same as well it just gets a little bit more complex as we go forward I think I’ll do that there and then we can connect the wall to the building um which I think will look really cool too so yeah let’s go ahead and do this here

See how it works out I get around here there’s the building block right below it activate it going have to bring the dirt up to this level too I believe okay it’s there all right um yeah I think I’m going to build the dirt up first before we get too far on that

One and then let’s go ahead and put the Sawmill over here as well think we should be able to put it right right over here just right opposite we’ll leave this still Forest over this way um maybe make it so we can have a road that goes this

Way or maybe right through here maybe right through here be better so we’ll put it right opposite this I like how it has this water wheel here um we may want to yeah so that’s going to be in water water we could actually make a river coming down over

Here should be kind of cool uh and then a bridge maybe over here which makes me think yeah we definitely want move this over yeah we’ll sink this down one more yeah I think that’s pretty good go ahead and set it now um the one our

St yeah let’s go ahead and we’ll get tenle working on this one Here um building he and we’ll get Charles working over here on the library hopefully I didn’t make a huge mistake by um thinking that it’ll go well back here but I think I think eventually it’s going to look awesome uh attached to the university okay now we can go ahead and

Put some dirt Town um because we are going to need a bunch of dirt underneath here uh for Charles to work on it all right Tenley just finished the Sawmill uh the library is coming along over here I am putting this retaining wall jum down real quick to show this uh

So this is going to be kind of like the edge of the Kingdom right here um continuing this kind of same look across and uh then I’ll go and I’ll texturize this and add some stuff to to it as well later on but the library is going to sit on top of

This and I think that’s going to look pretty cool uh from out here uh from Spawn you’re looking over here cuz it’ll be like the staining glass the tower uh right off of the the main Battlement here which will be kind of neat so uh keep on working on this and we’ll get

Tenle upgrading The Sawmill to the next level there we go uh red got injured we were fighting off a and of just unscrupulous people see he has 18 out of 60 there um see say if you give them raw meat heals them up that does work not very much though let’s try a

Steak here that’s better almost there we are buddy okay full speed uh fish doesn’t work fish fish will um you know tame them and they’ll get them in the mood for breeding but you got to do uh the the raw meat for uh maybe cook

Meat too I don’t know but I I know the raw meat Works um for getting their health re figur there see got all that fish fish the fish did not do nothing didn’t do anything for me yay get our first uh level of the library done it’s

A huge huge building I was kind of shocked actually I mean I know that uh it’s a big building but I mean it’s it’s like crazy big and it’s going to get even bigger but uh here it Is it is large here there’s Charles look at that that’s cool um we’re going to go ahead and go ahead and upgrade this to the next level as well uh but yeah there it is and this will go right into here into this Courtyard perfect exactly what I wanted

Awesome all right let’s go ahead and upgrade you and this will probably take a while cuz uh this this is a big building so there’s going to be a lot of like tearing things down and putting things back up again hallelujah praise the maker Charles finally completed the

Level three upgrade to the library it’s been a week in real life like real time it’s been a week man oh man this guy he took his time like nobody’s business to get this done and all I was waiting for it was this Bell to be put in

Here well doesn’t work okay great Charles he has a bell in his hand too that’s that’s um that’s special um but yeah it is done we have upgraded this to level three it looks great on the inside I mean look at this this is a this is an

Institution of Higher Learning for sure inside here um little classroom in the Apes maybe I’m not sure uh but then if we go through here this goes right into the university which is what we wanted perfect perfect perfect okay cool Library level three all done wrong way

Let’s go back here could help you with that uh I’ve had these guys doing some research which is which is good um we have some more things we can build in uh upcoming episodes but I was so bored so bored waiting for uh Charles to finish

That that I planted um trees uh fruit bearing trees up this main path I thought that’d be kind of cool and then I had Tenley upgrade this to level four um so we could start doing level four upgrades and it took her no time at all

To do that no time um so then I had her go and uh upgrade uh some of the guard towers and then I changed this Tower over here at our little keep to a guard Tower so I just basically clear that out um it’s basically the same footprint

That was there before but now we look at our map here it extended our territory um even over to the mainland which is probably not a good thing uh but every time I upgrade it extends it a little bit more that made it so so this whole area is covered

And then I put another guard Tower right here and so this whole area right here is covered as well and I’ll probably um I’m going to upgrade these two you can see there’s already the the tape around them um and then this is going to be an entrance to under this mountain right

Here um that we’ll be working on uh probably off camera mainly but um you know something for us to to kind of do in the future because what we also did in the time frame between um Charles starting that and upgrading to level three is we added ice and fire to this

So now we have crazy dragons dragons that are hard to fight uh all sorts of creatures that are hard to fight luckily none of them are around spawn uh there’s a little bit of a buffer zone around spawn and we’re pretty close to spawn so I wasn’t worried about all of a sudden

Dragons being in here in cyclopses and all that kind of stuff destroying our little land uh but we will go exploring and we’re going to try to get get those dragons as well some dragon eggs to hatch and tame and we’re going to make our Dragon Sanctuary under the mountain

Bell I think next time we will probably get the barracks going um I’m going to continue to upgrade the guard towers to level four um Barracks would be a good thing to extend our territory backwards um if we look at the map real quick here

Back in this area like this um I think I’m going to put the barracks right here I was originally going to put it right here but I think having the entrance to the underground Dragon Sanctuary would be really cool there so we’re going to do this direction um then we can put our

Like our cattle and uh sheep and pigs and all that kind of stuff in the professions that do that uh so we can continue to expand our Farms as well with some other things and just do some cool stuff back there but that is for another time and another day
