Daggerfall Unity #2 | Becoming a Guild Mage

Hello i am fearful pinata and welcome back to daggerfall unity so i’ve made some deductions i’ve actually tried to record This particular video once already and determined that the villager immersion overhaul was causing my stuttering in towns which makes sense because that’s the only mod i have that it exclusively affected towns allegedly the next update to that mod will be the fix i’ve also made other changes to my mod

List you can see in the bottom right i have the immersive clock overhaul which finally are not funnily enough adds a clock to the ui which is more of a convenience feature as the name suggests because you can just tap i to see the time uh instead of seeing

All the information i chose this bar i might change that i haven’t decided i kind of like graphical things even if they are vague but that’s just me um there was something else i did oh yes i decided as well that i should not be doing this or at least i should

That is not flush or at least i should As i mentioned i tried recording this once already and i did explore there are a lot of werewolves here i definitely don’t definitely need a weapon that can hurt them so i’m going to leave in fact i might even load in fact i will load uh we will get we will go to

The villager immersion overhaul because by default daggerfall only has humans wandering around and they’re all bretons to boot i think in the alakir regions they are red guards which would only make sense of course but there should be argonians khajiit elves you know the whole the whole cast of wacky

Races that are species is it racist or species i think species is more accurate doesn’t matter they’re not here this lock has nothing to fear from you okay when do you open nine so we need to wait for like two hours do not rest because that is a crime and you will be

Change the gameplay too drastically mid playthrough that seemed a little weird come on give me some good rolls there we go i am making a mistake by just sprinting through here willy-nilly that wall looks odd is that it no i guess it’s not i thought it might have been a secret door okay Let’s go this away See what we can find I did say i’d show that these are monstrous uh dungeons and i will in fact it looks like this one’s proving to be one mostly corridors and i’m already turned around on myself let’s go back get rid of that just in my way How much is that worth 40 gold respectable respectable this looks a lot like the old dungeon Which makes sense because every dungeon is composed of the same like parts it’s like big modules that they that stitch together procedurally uh when the game was created Uh the shorter dungeons option actually only does one module i think and caps them off so if you turn them on mid game the dungeons all seem to be the same but the further areas will be sealed away so you can’t access them and i think it will also only generate

Quest items in the accessible area but i think there’s a good reason it’s not actually a in-game option but a any option so definitely uh use it cautiously if you decide to turn that on which i won’t blame you if you do nothing with bats and rats now we had

Fighters that were nearly killing me and now we have nothing are these thing the problem with fighting bats and rats the problem in particular with fighting them is they can disease you and diseases are extremely dangerous so let’s hope that’s not the case or at least that i haven’t gotten one
