DANFAM: EPIC Space Modpacks! MUST TRY!

Hey guys daniel here and welcome back to the dan fam i am so excited for this video because it’s the first video i’ve released in 2021 um i wasn’t very active last year but i’m excited to get back into youtube this year and grow our channel as much as we can

So in this video we’re gonna be looking at the best uh space minecraft mod packs in 2021 uh these are all going to be based on my opinion if you guys have a different opinion or you agree make sure to let me know in the comments section below

Um you guys showed a lot of support from my last video which was the best minecraft mod packs of 2020 so i’m just so excited to get back so as you know i put a survey in my community tab where you guys vote for the next

I don’t post often so you don’t have to worry about spam now let’s go straight into what i believe is the best space minecraft mod packs of 2021. at number five we have crashed on a hostile planet this mod pack was created by massandro it has around 255 000 downloads

Um you can find this on the curse launcher it used to be called the twitch i don’t know what happened but i guess they switched back so let’s get into what this modpack is this is a rather small mod pack with a focus on new mods and mechanics

Advanced rocketry is the base and sky resources is used for resource generation in a broad sense this pack uses skyblock mechanics but with the addition of many new ideas and fresh implementations the modpack also showcases mods that aren’t often used giving the player a chance to try new things and explore new directions

Now obviously if you look at this uh visual you can see this guy made like a little space station and on the outside it actually looks like mars so if you want to be like elon musk and go to mars i would try this pack out it’s a great

Introduction to what it’s like to play a space themed mod pack on minecraft i definitely recommend it it’s a good time uh you follow some of the quests and kind of just get used to what it’s like being on space without actually being on space so if you like that kind of

Mod fact definitely check this one out it’s a great one and that’s why i put it at my number five on the list let’s go straight into number four at number four we have galactic science by kathleen i believe and it has around 340 000 downloads again you can find this on

Curse um this modpack starts you on a moon base after you fled earth as humanity was destroying it uh your task is this mod pack is to start life on the moon according to the game you begin by using your father’s old moon base you set up home hoping to keep the human

Race alive uh this is a quest book mod pack that provides a fun space experience on the moon and i really like it i think it’s really good i think the moon base you start off with is super dope i love the blocks it uses to even design it

And then obviously you get to play on the moon like who wouldn’t like that and obviously it gives you a bunch of resources so that’s why i kind of like this a lot because you don’t actually have to be on the regular earth and then fly to the moon you start

On the moon and shenanigans happen so yeah that’s why it’s number four let’s go straight into our number three all right so at number three we have space astronomy two by mjr legends it has around 494 000 downloads and it’s a really good one i believe so

Basically space astronomy 2 is a space based mod pack that includes loads of the latest tech and space mods um you get to explore the universe with the help of the provided achievement book that will lead you around and uh that requires steps that you will need to take in

Order to survive out in space and again this is just another really really solid space mod pack it’s ranked a little bit higher than the rest because i think um although it doesn’t have like the best map or any cool like story it is the better mod pack you’ll

Have a lot more fun with the mods and overall if you want to do like a server that’s related to space i would recommend this one to you guys as well now let’s go straight into number two at number two we have planetary it’s a very simple name i love it it

Sounds great on the tongue and it tells you what it’s about basically it’s a mock pack created by knox hack uh it has only like 40k downloads it’s crazy right but here’s the description after many wars between man and nature and infighting and all of the human nations

It left the earth barren destroyed by the many battles only a few resources remain and scattered oil deposits left around by the remains of nature the king and you are one of the last survivors with the ability granted by your elders to respawn and survive in this desolate wasteland

And knowledge passed down from the generations the one mission is to continue your legacy and escape the planet and reach your friends who have left a long time ago before the wars planetary is a wasteland themed mod pack where you start in a destroyed earth and you need to collect resources from meteors

To build a rocker to leave to a better planet so obviously like it’s really cool i like um the scenery you’re in that like like the destroyed earth because uh it looks kind of like mars and you have to look for these meteors and dig in them and find resources

So that’s kind of like your grand portion of trees kind of sticking into meteors and then there’s also like underground dungeons and like little hidden things here and there so that’s why i think it’s super cool and that’s why it is my number two now let’s go straight into our honorable mentions

All right so this is our honorable mentions section this is where i go over mob packs that i considered for this video but they just didn’t make the cut but i still wanted them to be uh giving a shout out or something so you guys know about them and the list is

Pretty short this time it’s just going to be astro block 2 losing space and lazio’s galactic craft and mcspace so do what you would like with these but i just thought i’d mention them because they’re pretty good now let’s go straight into our number one pick

At number one we have astro block by knox hack again yes so he got the number two and the number one spot and he got an honorary mention as well or honorable mention so this one has around uh 200 000 downloads and i just like this so much for the map and

Just what it is you’re kind of like on a space station that’s already kind of set up for you but obviously you got to start collecting resources and do other stuff with your time so like it’s not like about struggling it’s more about just like you’re on space and now you can do

Whatever you like it’s really dope so astro block is a modpack where you start in the asteroid belt and you start in a space station and you have to do repairs and somehow make fuel to get back to earth after visiting earth you have to travel to other planets that will give you

Access to more advanced machineries gear and even better rockets including electric rockets this modpack includes a quest book to help you in your space journey and teaches you a couple of tricks it also includes rewards and loot system and as well it includes many planets moons and every other galaxies to explore so

Yeah like this is basically the ultimate space mod pack experience and if you have to pick one of these mock packs i would definitely recommend this one because you get a mod pack that has a map it also takes you to earth but then it also provides
