DanRobzProbz – Becoming Super OP was Easy…ish| “Inferno” Modpack by FTB [Ep.4]

Hello and welcome back to Inferno by Feed the Beast my name is Terrance probs and this is episode four and straight off the bat guys I need to confess something I died I I actually died about six times I think in total because I got in a kind of a death leap

Um basically when you die you you get given a grave and you’re not like I played mod packs before but you normally go invisible and stuff so you you’re not invisible in this one and yeah I kind of got in a bit of a death Loop um involving some of these bosses

Um that being one of them called Amy and I actually acquired her ax which is my God an absolute Beast of a weapon and you’re probably noticing as well I’ve got some golden hearts on the screen every time I crit Hicks something I seem to require another Golden Heart so this

Is a weapon that I do never want to lose because it’s awesome so I need to be careful with the durability on it I need to kind of get mending on it somehow but my God this thing’s a beast um there is some weird side effects though I don’t

Know exactly what it means by sundering um but I’m pretty sure it’s not very good for you but anyway I’ve been quite busy off camera guys um yeah I’ve I basically um managed to rip up some of these um Propel plant roots thingies the sugar cane looking things

Um that you know the explosive plants right um I’ve brought these up here because they’re kind of useful for making the magma creams as you know but yeah I’ve actually made a proper Tinkers smeltery now as well as a Foundry now I’ve never used this before but I was um digging in

And I found out you can actually make a Foundry which is very different to the actual normal tinker’s Forge um yeah slightly never kind of side of it I think um if I’m not mistaken but it uses obsidian um so I had to go and mine some obsidian

Done all that safely without actually dying believe it or not I didn’t fall in a lava a little bit like that but yeah use those scorched bricks and yeah you kind of make the same sort of thing but it has to be in a well in a square kind of formation like this

Um for some reason I can’t seem to use the uh scorched casting Basin which is quite strange so I’ll have to use the seared one but why did I want this what what why do you want this down wow let me just show you so if I look at Copper a minute

You see you can get copper like this right but if I look for the actual liquid form of it you can see in The Foundry you can actually melt down spy glasses and you get gems and the ingots back from it okay I’ve actually got any

Uh um spy glasses but if I keep digging through this you’re going to spot something which is very weird you get copper from gold which is quite strange now we’re in a never we’ve got loads of never gold ore this is what I’ve been doing now I know

It only gives you one nugget but once you’ve got silk touch like I have on a pig eye and pickaxe if I you know by using uh Tinkers upgrade so if I go into silk touch you can make some silky cloth and then you make five pieces of this

And you basically slap it on a pickaxe from Tinkers um and I’ve actually made a Tinkers Anvil as well with a rose gold which I’ll get to in a minute but yeah you just slap this up and then you get silk touch on it basically and then you can

Just run around and never quite easily and gather up an absolute ton of never gold ore okay and then you just slap this in here and then I don’t have to worry about fishing for copper I love to see you uh got enough resources to do this it’s probably worth

Doing I know it’s probably not the most beneficial but you can literally mine this stuff up as you’re exploring the never it’s not very hard to find as you probably know and yeah you can get a load of copper for free pretty much it’s a lot easier and safer than fishing in

My opinion also you probably know something I’ve got amethyst as well I kind of want to make um weirdly I want to make the spy glass to attach this uh traveler goggles so I can zoom in I’m just intrigued okay I think zooming in and out would be probably really handy

On a mod pack like this because we’ve got to do a lot of exploration I guess um but yeah if you um if you uh smelt up the um never quartz ore in here you actually get a slight bit of liquid gem the amethyst Shard as well as the um a

Whole block by the way of um quartz but I’ve also got this thing a crystal chest now where the hell did you get that from Dan yeah I was exploring and uh let me just show you my map here if I kind of zoom over here I found this like Fortress looking structure

And I just spotted a like a chest there and I looted it and I got this which is Bonkers this is like the biggest chest you can have right I got that in the chest which is crazy and I got this a bootleg elytra guys this is actually an elytra

Look I can fly what I can’t believe I found this and look at the size of that I’m breaking that’s huge it’s commending as well oh my God but yeah I’m probably not gonna really use it just yet I need to get some sort of gunpowder and get fireworks

But I can fly man I can fly already on episode four crazy also I got this uh Faraday chest plate I have no idea what that is but it looked quite cool and uh yeah I found this enchanted book now some mobs believe it or not actually have like glowing yellowy

Particles and they drops like books because they’re skilled mobs or something I don’t really know but they seem to drop enchanted books every time I killed them and I got this born of the Earth free but read that always may be found when mining stone so if I can find

A way of getting Cobblestone and enchant a pickaxe with this I could potentially get like random oars not a stone what I think that’s Bonkers but yeah I’ve got some other cool things like Tom steel touch decorative golden skeleton of the Eagles I don’t know you get a load of random

Stuff from these um crazy like boss guys um but I’m kind of looking around for one to uh to try and get some diamonds because I can probably snap up the uh the actual boots or leggings or anything they actually hold in one of these forges and I’ll actually end up getting

Diamonds right so that’s pretty much everything I’ve been up to um we do need to actually take Mark a few quests off that I’ve been knocking out so yeah I’ve done the smelting I’m smelting and now I’ve done a kiss from a raise which is to make some rose gold ingots

Very very simple you just basically mix copper with gold and it gives you rose gold and because that’s a tinker’s block you can obviously use it to make the um you know the the tinkering and feel so we can tick mark this off we get ourselves a rose bush I guess that’s

Just for a low but I guess I can use them to get red dye right and we get some Rose ingredients which is quite nice but this is all coming down to I’m gonna put a spell on you I need to make myself a um mixing cauldron okay so this is going to

Be able to get me into making the dark gem is that what it’s called yeah dark gem okay so we’re gonna crack on with that very first I think um I think I’ve actually got it saved up here but I’ve also got some other things I want to

Explain as well and show you in a second but first of all let’s make this so we need a cauldron we need some soul lanterns um okay I think I’ve got everything for it so I just remembered something while I was gathering up my um rose gold and

Stuff mushrooms they are very very valuable let me just show you here um obviously we know we could turn them into string your straw and compost them down and make bomo and stuff but yes you can actually cook these things on a campfire but I also made a black stone

Stove which is basically a campfire but it holds six slots which is quite nice yeah once you cook these you actually get smoked mushrooms and I’m not kidding you I think they are probably one of the easier simple very simple simple edible food in this mod pack I would say

Um I’m not kidding they do so much saturation as well and they’re so easy to get so yeah I just wanted to mention that because I feel like that’s a pretty decent food source to start off with so the mixing cauldron I’ve already made the two Soul lanterns I just need to

Make the cauldron and then there we go I’ve never seen this or never used it before so I’m a bit confused oh wow we get a dark tank I’ve been looking for a tank wow okay that’s like 16 buckets of lava Jesus man okay what how does this work then okay

Oh I’ve seen this so yes you put things in like this and you have to give it a fluid that’s right and then okay that seems pretty easy to do pretty straightforward um this tank though oh that’s very valuable I’m going to keep that over here by my

Uh Tinkers kind of stuff uh let’s just plonk it right there for now if I ever run out of lava though I can easily just grab that and fill it up with a bucket I guess reason we needed the actual mixing cauldron is to actually craft this dark

Gem so it uses free coal a piece of redstone and four another quartz and a smidgen of lava and it should make that okay was it like this oh my God it’s doing something whoa oh there is the gem no way amazing I’ve done it no way we get ender pearls for this

And we get more dark gems okay what are these used for oh wow okay so this is the build tool for the actual mine colonies mod oh my God okay so it’s a bit like a structure block I guess okay and what do we get for that Bedrock false Bedrock Aesthetics only

And an inferno supply Camp oh wow okay that’s Dirt Cheap to make we just need to get some Stone handles okay I won’t get into that just yet and maybe I will but is there any other uses for this all there is actually quite a few and what there’s a villager trades as

Well no way oh I guess they’re kind of like an emerald right a black emerald oh God okay so as you can see I’ve currently got some Cobalt in my hand yes this is a lovely metal from tinker’s construct and yeah you can use it to uh

Craft up this special material I’ve got here which is hepatizion I hope that’s how you pronounce it um you mix it with quartz and copper and it makes this now this is actually the Harvest here of a never right pickaxe so I don’t think I need to go any higher

Than this unless I can I don’t really know but yeah this is going to keep me going but anyway the other use for Cobalt I found was this plus plate chest plate stuff I kind of said plus plate that doesn’t really make sense but yeah we can we could craft some uh

Special armor for this but looking at the armor of it if I look at a plate there it is you can see it’s got higher armor than what actually I’m wearing right now and it is from Tinkers so we can upgrade it as well so I’m gonna say

Goodbye to my Travelers set I think and we’re gonna go ahead and make all this stuff so we need the boots I hope I got enough stuff oh wow that’s a quest I didn’t even know uh leggings I’ve already crafted up some chains for this it’s not super expensive and there

We go I think that’s all of it right it is have we still got a bit left over which is quite nice I have got a bit of the raw stuff here but I would rather probably take it with my um a silk pig iron um pickaxe

Is that is that higher it doesn’t look like it actually gives you a bonus though which is a bit of a shame um something I want to do though is just check I’m sure we can can we upgrade this to make it golden so the pigs don’t mind you yes we can

It’s actually gone yellow it has all right so it’s like Cobalt chain armor that’s quite strange okay so that was actually a quest I didn’t even know where where is that was that here I I don’t even know where that was maybe it’s there nope we got this one to mark

Off we get some racks okay uh which was just to make some chests so I managed to find it it was in protect and unprotected um this is just kind of like an armor section I guess to kind of guide you but look there looks like there’s actually

Infinity stone oh my God extreme craftings in this oh wow oh my God it gives you night vision forever that’s pretty sick but yeah that’s that’s pretty cool so we’re gonna be pretty geared up now why do I really want this obviously we’re in the nether right but

I actually stumbled across a dungeon I think uh where is it here now this isn’t that far away um I should probably actually put the so so we can actually see it again uh so for that distance it’s not that far now I’m pretty sure oh my God there’s a

Boss guy there we need to kill him I’m pretty sure that that is one of those um sins one of these if I’m not mistaken I’m a bit scared though I don’t know if I’m you know going in there thinking I’m Mr tough guy with this ax now but we’re gonna try

25 I just did in one hit look yeah this this ax is absolutely unbelievable like and it’s not always going to be 25 but most of the time it is look yeah these guys are not going to be too much of a problem for me anymore

Um this isn’t that great um what I just got unfortunately so now I’ve dealt with that zombified piglin um yeah the dungeon is over here and there was actually a pig Lin Bastion here I’ve actually raided that one but not fully because I was a bit you know I

Was feeling a bit overconfident I was pushing my luck maybe that’s not where I died by the way I actually died over here somewhere but yeah there’s another Bastion here and I was heading towards it and I actually noticed on the roof of the nether it was this actual biome

Called a crystal Chasm which actually holds rose quartz there so it’s a bit like the Amethyst in vanilla Minecraft and they’re kind of Pinky but you can actually turn these into Redstone but I actually need these for a summoning alter look and we’re going to go ahead and craft this now I think

Um I think I could probably do it I need the demon dream free though I think all my food’s in here um but that actually requires golden apples if I’m not mistaken right uh if I got them over here oh no they’re here they’re here it’s okay here we go

There’s a few uh so if I look at the use of this we need to make some Spirit torches I only need the one okay and it makes um four like that that’s pretty good uh I don’t honestly know how it was it’s probably that on the top there we go

Spirit Torch done I know we need something called a crimson window which is just glass with window with the blanks it’s not a glass of window Dan what are you talking about there we go and we just need some gold and that’s pretty much it right and we

Got a summoning alter now I believe this is a quest as well there we go let me just plonk that thing there for now oh wow that looks quite sick I quite like that that’s quite nice um so yeah it was actually part of this Quest here you rang

Now from what I understand reading this we can actually summon in mobs if we want to and let’s say we get a name tags with names on them already a warp scroll and an ink sack an ink sack all we need is a feather and we can actually make

Something very very variable but yeah this is how we’re going to get some bees e-i-e-i-o some random animals we can summon them in I think with this um Observer Strider okay so we can summon Striders as well I guess and then we can summon wolves as wow

Okay but the bees the bees is a big one now I’m not gonna touch this I just wanted to actually make this today um but yeah I’m thinking maybe next episode we’re going to get into some bees maybe because I really want to learn a bit about the bees

Um anyway we’ve got some things to mark off here we’ve got a splash potion of like and a charm of souls still okay I don’t know what that does let’s have a look play Soul still when active in the inventory I presume about Stills some people’s thoughts

Oh God there’s a lot of stuff in here like I say it’s quite new to me um I will just put that away for now and that luck potion I don’t need any luck it’s fine and we got some free name tags with silly names on

Um Okay cool so just down from urang there’s actually a quest here for called compost Barrel to make a compost Barrel a compost Barrel is much more useful than the composter in the vanilla game I guess with it I could turn plant matter into compost which can be crafted into

Dirt this comes at a cost of usability however the compost Barrel is much slower and cannot be opened while it works so we need to go ahead and craft one of these and I’m probably only going to make the one just because we actually get free in return but this is all part

Of the mine Colony so it’s guess it’s something to do with that which is kind of what we’re approaching so we need two pieces of glass a bit of iron and should I just rip up that composter then or you know what I’m gonna I’m gonna make a

New compost so it’s fine it’s probably not that expensive right okay I was just checking we don’t have any slabs in here this chest is so big oh my God so we’re gonna make a composter and that should be everything right there we go one compost barrel and we’re gonna get

Three more in return for free so I guess this makes this stuff right I spent long enough oh no okay this is telling me how to make this stuff okay so what do I do with this end uses we can make a composter’s Hut I guess that’s someone’s workstation in mine

Colonies oh okay so you just Chuck just eight golden apples gives you six compost that’s ridiculous why would anyone do that okay so leaves seems pretty decent um okay so basically it’s a new composter okay I got you uh I guess we can just put

I really want to make a house guys by the way I really want to do that because we’re kind of getting out of control here I’m gonna just put these there for now okay so these seem like they’re quite pricey and what you have to put in there

But the most logical thing would probably be these right because I got no end of these things um can I just have a look at the uses will they go in there yes they will oh it’s only 16. oh even better so how does this work are you just literally click it

Okay easy now apparently these take forever so we will check them back later maybe see if they’ve done anything um okay obviously we got these composters going I’ve just been looking into stuff um do we actually need these things like apparently they take forever right but

We can just make coaster and tell it right we’ve got no end of graveling than ever I can get uh through the mycelium when you break it right because obviously this is this is in the game in in the mod pack right so I just want to demonstrate this and I want to

Show you something here I guess the Modpack developers are for about this but if you break mycelium on on this mod pack you get it back now a way of actually avoiding this to make it turn into dirt is just grow the mushrooms on it and leave them over time I guess that

One probably won’t work right we just have to leave that over time and it will turn into dirt because look over here as you can see if I lift these up I’ve got a piece of dirt here now that was mycelium at some point so all I need to

Do is wait for that to just turn into a piece of dirt and I’ll probably just what’s over there oh it’s just basso I’ve seen that before probably just create another one as well there we go and let that change over time as well um because yeah unfortunately you can’t

Tell it but yeah what I need to do now is just get a couple there you go it’s changed perfect hacks hacks and then all we need to do is get some gravel do this and then we get four pieces of dirt and we till this and then we lift this up

And we repeat rinse and repeat and we’re gonna get no end of dirt very easily beautiful beautiful beautiful and as you can see I’ve just made 64 pieces of dirt like that in a matter of minutes whereas this is going to take forever so yeah I just wanted to uh just just

Get that out there because maybe the Modpack developers watching maybe you should remove that recipe because it’s a bit avoiding your progression system [Laughter] but yeah we’ve got loads of dirt now so I can actually grow something in here which I’ve been wanting to which is the hemp seeds

Um this would be a great way of getting some string for quite quite easily um the only issue is I haven’t got water but I guess this will work right oh God that’s brilliant so let me just break this and I’m pretty sure probably

In this mod pad if it’s in it you can just do that no is it two no it’s free that’s right there we go and we get string like that easy easy stuff and now I can just extend this even more now please oh it doesn’t like those ones does it

Why is that can you not have these adjacent to anymore that’s quite strange I’ve not seen that before okay so maybe the mod’s changed again I am playing 1.18.2 here so maybe things have changed but yeah this is a lot easier than me um you know chopping up mushrooms to get

Um string that way but yeah uh we can start doing some farming now a little bit um kind of a bit pointless there in a way maybe right now because I guess in the future we’ll be using mine colonies and getting people to do it for us right

Um yeah you can have these adjacent to each other this is quite strange so I’m going to just leave those sinks like that for now um if we ever need string obviously I can just twerk away and and go go from there pretty much um I should probably put the string down

Here the String’s quite useful because obviously we can make um fishing rods and stuff like that and yeah I don’t need these mushrooms here anymore I don’t want to keep things growing and hanging around because again mobs might spawn up here and I don’t really want

Mob spawning up here so the other reason why I wanted to get all this dirt and talk about it was because I actually found a load of oak leaves now this brings me back to the very start of the video where I was talking about the

Silky pig iron pickaxe this is the main reason why I wanted this silk touch on it is because I noticed oak leaves are spawning in these like brambly here it is this brambly looking biome here the undergrown and it’s actually like if I’m hovering right over one right now these

Green things here are actually oak leaves believe it or not now my theory right now it’s destroy and get an exactly from these if this is even possible I genuinely don’t know if it is um I’ve not even tried this but the idea was to try and get an oak tree down here

We go oh my God it is possible yes but yes that is so cheeky oh my God okay I don’t know if an oak sap means amazing I know it’s not that exciting to get over but I’m in the never guys so you gotta remember that oh my God I can’t

Believe it actually works and now can I just twerk away oh my God yes yes yes oh cool so that means I can get apples now nice nice nice now I know there’s botany pots in this as well or Bonsai pots I should say they’re called um so we could probably easily automate

This um but yeah look at this oak wood in a fiery Nether oh wow oh fast Leaf decay’s not on I was expecting it to be on it’s on like every mod pack right am I no it’s not on okay I guess we can just do that though that’s fine

Cool we got eight saplings man oh my God I’m sorry what I mean by that I didn’t know if it was gonna work that’s why I wanted to record oh that’s so cool okay nice we got Oakwood that’s amazing okay um right so now as we got those ender

Pearls from the quest I think I can actually look into uh the botany part the Bonsai pot sorry I’m going to keep calling that I’m sorry I’m so used to it oh they didn’t take that long is that it amazing no uses for that four of them

Give you that but that’s what we no we don’t want that what how do we get the other stuff I need to have a look again the worms crawl in the worms crawl out I’ve spent long enough living off leftovers I’ve been finding a way with

This place thanks to the compost I can start working on some actual farming and gray some crops to nourish me I like the chat though fire tile wastes under gluttony ah I got you okay so we need to craft this stuff like that okay um I’m gonna get this going because I

Think I’ve got some rotten flesh and I’ve got all the other stuff for it right oh my God we’re having a dirty episode right uh right so I need some bone meal uh rotten flesh I got a bit there yep there should be enough there we go

Let’s get two of them for now and that is that oh no you get 12 oops I shouldn’t have made that much okay cool uh so I need to do is put these next to mushrooms right or mycelium uh uh I’m guessing mushrooms would just be easier Maybe

I’ll tell you what we’re gonna do is lift up this and let’s just do a line of this stuff yeah it’s quite annoying because of the Bedrock right and the line of that stuff there so you can put some stuff there some stuff there a little bit here

And I guess two pieces there and we do this foreign we’re gonna just make a Luna mycelium and we’re gonna just plonk it all next to it to help speed up this process right that would make more sense so let’s start this bowl rolling by putting these ones like that

If that’s what it wanted me to do so after a bit of twerking we’ve actually got a load of mycelium now which is nice so yeah hopefully this will help speed this along if I’m not mistaken okay is that going to work um let me just look at the uses of that

Does it actually say anything about that no but honestly I’m not making this up right so if I look at this rich soil sped up by adjacent activators see below and one of them is actually a mycelium which I can hold shift on and it should stay there there we go so yeah

And obviously I don’t have water I don’t have sunlight so maybe I should put some like torches around uh let’s make a few more torches and maybe they’ll it thinks the Torches will be sunlight I don’t really know but yeah all of that is to obviously get into um the botany part right

Uh we need to kind of clean up here I don’t really know what I’m gonna do with this compost for now I’ll just put it in there we’ll forget about that probably and we’ll see it another day and much like the logs and stuff I will just put

Them in there for now as well and they’re dirt because off camera I need to do a bit of tidying up I think ah so why not waiting for the rich soil to compost down I’m gonna try and Tackle this Bastion remnants here um I don’t honestly know which one it is

I think it’s the bridge one so there might be a spawner in the middle I’m hoping um because somebody in the comments section oh my God who’s that behind me somebody in the comments section I have to take him out a minute somebody in the comments section mentioned about the

Um hoglands now we get spawn eggs why can we not just use the spawn egg in a mob spawner now thank you very much for that very big brain moment there and I’m probably gonna give that a go I think so we’re going to take this little hoglin egg with us and

I don’t know I’d want to try but I don’t know if it’s gonna work if I can silk touch a mob spawner I doubt it but you never know this is modded right um but yeah the other reason I want to go to the Bastion is to try and get some

Never right scrap um that is because if I actually look at the uses of this and go to The Foundry you’re never gonna believe this guys when one little scrap I can get a full-on molten debris in grit which I can use with a gold exactly the same

Quantity I’ll get never right okay now if I’m not mistaken one anger I’m one Ingot of gold should probably give me two never right ingots if I’m not mistaken if not it’s not the end of the world I’m still doing a cheaper crafting recipe because if I look at a never

Right anger as you probably know it costs four normally so I’ll be doing one of them and one of them for an aninga basically that’s pretty pretty impressive and pretty huge if you don’t ask me um okay so yeah let’s go and take this guy out a minute let’s see if we can

Find him again where do we go oh no is he gone I must have been scared of me right okay right let’s go and tackle a Bastion remnants then with my new armor we should be fine I hope um I’m probably gonna try to use this sword more than

The ax because I don’t really want it to break and yeah this stuff hasn’t actually changed yet so fingers crossed it will when we we come back so as you can see I’m kind of in the bang on in the middle in this thing um this is quite dangerous because we

Are in a soul Sam Valley so there might be skeletons so I’ve got to be careful here I don’t really want to fall off um but I can actually see a cage down there somebody just fell off and died um let’s go and have a little investigation

We should be fine with these guys it’s just the brutes we’ve got to be careful with but if I start attacking if we had a fishing rod then if I start attacking um Broods they will all come after me so I’ve got to be careful right yeah we’re after some never write scrap

Is this even possible right there’s a load of brutes there look and there’s so much gold as well look okay so I just wanted to mention here that I’ve actually found this thing withered Blackstone now it sounds very whiffery in there to me with the skeletons are everywhere in there

Um but there’s a Rafer I don’t I don’t know what that is oh Wraith Rafer oh look at him he’s got blue eyes some sort of mini boss maybe question mark I don’t really know but yeah he’s in there maybe he drops like something cool

Um yeah these guys oh my God this Wither Skeleton Knights as well and piggling brutes and all sorts in there and uh corrupter was that I just read yeah there’s a there’s a lot of stuff in there that I don’t really know what it

Is but I seem to not be able to get in there um so yeah it looks like there’s a structure inside a structure here which is quite cool so yeah we’ve got to remember that’s there maybe it’s going to be useful in the future um maybe we’re a bit more powerful we

Can get in there maybe I don’t really know yeah I’m kind of just working my way down here so as you can see I’m kind of on the bridge right now and there’s a guy look he’s got like a skilled aha there we go so this guy if I killed this guy he

Would actually drop a um enchanted book that’s what I was talking to you about at the start um but yeah we’re actually at the bottom here pretty much um I’m just kind of looking here there’s no brutes at the bottom which is quite handy uh right gotta be careful with these magmas

Because they are well annoying so we’re gonna have loads of magnets creams out of this oh there’s a skilled guy as well Luke you’re gonna see that I’ll get an enchanted book oh fruits after me so now we’re in a bit of a pickle and we actually died so when you die you

Actually get given this key as I mentioned and look you can see a little square lights up if I hold this in I can actually go too straight to my body and I’ll be able to get on my gear and hopefully kill this guy okay we’re fine I’ve only got one blog

It’s fine we’ve got Amy’s ax it’s fine everything’s fine we’ve done it oh let’s just make sure nothing can just randomly appear on my head oh what why am I getting killed how am I getting killed it’s killing me what ah can I hit you through wolves oh man this is so annoying

Why can I hit you through walls oh no so as you can see I made it back safe and sound but I don’t honestly know where all the mobs have gone they’ve just disappeared I’ve killed a skeleton ah the cubes are still spawning so we gotta be quick here okay
