DanTDM – Minecraft | DOGGY TALENTS! (Over 20 Tricks!) | Mod Showcase [1.5.1]

Ouais why are you up there and why won’t you get down I just don’t understand and everyone down here from the Diamond minecart and welcome to another minecraft mod review where today I’m gonna be showcasing the doggy talents mod which pretty much overhauls the way tamed minecraft wolves work so they’re

Much better and much more awesome so let’s check out the recipes first and then we’ll get to how to get our own cute doggy that can fight for us and do awesome tricks so we’ll go into these chests where I’ve got the recipes for the mod and first up are the different

Treats so these trees are kind of made in four different levels the first one is the training treat which you use to level up your wolf up to level 20 and also change wolves into dogs so this mod kind of uses dogs rather than wolves and

Then you’ve got the next tier which is the super tree then you’ve got the master tree and then you’ve got the dire tree so to make the training treat you need string bone and gunpowder as well as three sugar and three wheat in this pattern to make the training tree and

Then you need to use five training treats and a golden apple to make the super tree and then you need five super treats and a diamond so pretty expensive for a single master tree and then you need to go to the end get some ends stone wrap that around with five master

Treats to get yourself some dire treats so these are the treats that we’re going to use later on and we’ll come back to those and up next we’ve also got the collar shears so these are used to detain your wolf when you don’t want it

To follow your don’t want it to be by your side anymore and you’re going to need shears and surround that with bones to get to the collar shoes and you also got a toy that you can use with your little dog and it’s called the throw

Bone and you need a slime ball and four bones in the same pattern or a similar pattern to the collar shears to make the throw bone you can throw this and we’ll demonstrate that in a minute and also your dogs are gonna need to eat to keep

Up their health so you’ve got the food bone on the food ball you need eight iron ingots in a single bone and you can place the food bowl on the floor and you can place all of these foods in it so the dogs will eat raw and cooked beef

Raw and cooked chicken and pork chop as well so raw and cooked every single one and you can put it down in your world like this and they will just feed from it automatically rather than having you kind of make sure they it’s basically so

If we right click this it brings up a little G you either you can put food in and your dogs will automatically feed themselves when they need to be fed so what you need to know now is how to get one of these wolves so let’s go over

Here or dogs I keep saying wolves but it’s dogs you need to transform a wolf into a dog so let’s grab a wild wolf this is the normal minecraft wolf yeah it’s pretty dirty right now it’s not very helpful at all it jumps into lava it jumps into water and just gets lost

But now we’re going to change it into a dog so if we grab all of these treats here and we’re going to use the training tree and you can change a normal minecraft wolf into a dog so come here come here come in right click and now

That doesn’t work we need to tame him first ok when you change him into a wolf first so he’s a tamed wolf now a normal minecraft wolf he’s sitting for us and then we’re gonna change him into a dog so he’s cut his collar we’ll come here come here

There we go there we go he’s leveling out right now so this is finally a dog so he’s sitting down very nicely and here is the dog so what you can do is use these treats to level up your dog and why would you do that well if you

Grab a stick and right-click you will find out look at all these options basically it kind of works like an RPG system where you have lots of different things that you can stuff lots of different abilities that you can level up and he’ll become better at those

Things I’m not going to go through all of these because it’ll just take forever and be boring but we’ll show you some of them for example the black pearl will up your dogs or yeah your dogs uncritical hit rape pillow paw which is somewhere here it is will allow him three higher

Blocks before he takes full damage we can fall three more blocks before taking any damage whatsoever creeper sweep will also sniff out creepers and doggy – will increase his speed and rescue dog will also allow him to help you out when you are low on

Hearts so those are just some of them if you want to check out more then you can check it out when you go and download this modern also you could name him so today we’re gonna name him Boris so Boris the dog you can see up here he has his little

Name tag and you can also change the texture apparently – but I’m not sure how this goes on there we go it’s just a collar so let’s give them a nice cyan color and here we go this is this is Boris so you press escape to get out of

That and then you’ve got Boris your little dog so what you can do with him from here is level them up so to level them up all the way to level 20 you’re going to need training treats let’s do this level him up Pachelbel’s level em up level in map and

Level em up and there you go your dog is too high level to gain anything from these treats so when he reaches level 20 he won’t be able to take training treats anymore and you’re only be able to use the next stage up which is the master

Tree or is it the super treat I think it’s a super treat so let’s go for the super tree and there we go we can level them up all the way to level 40 so this will take you to level 40 the master treat will take you all the

Way up to level 60 which is the highest you can get on a normal level so that’s right-clicking and where is he there we go this is level 60 right here and over and below it we’ve got level dire now Dyer is pretty much for ultimate dogs so

If we take this treat here which is the highest of the treats the dire tree and right-click him up until his dial ‘evil is maximum which is 20 he will turn into an absolute ultimate dog so he is the ultimate he has n the particles going around him and just looks incredible

Look at their seat has got Linda particles and if we right clicking with the stick again he has lots of points to spend so the more you level up the more points you have to spend you can just add them to whatever you like and the

Points will go down and I’m just adding them to random ones here and they will go out to level 5 maximum I believe yeah we go they would quit killed him to maximum and he’s got the maximum level so he’s got level 30 dire ok I think I

Said 20 yeah but 30 is the maximum level and that is that so what can your dog do well it can attack things it has all of these extra bonus features as well just to make sure that your dog is doing the best that it can and that is pretty much

It so let’s go into what else you can do you can also right-click in with oak wood planks and he can carry stuff for you so that’s per training tree in here and you can carry your training trees and there’s a certain trait that you can

Level up let me just find it I know it is called the pack puppy so if we upgrade the pack puppy to maximum and then go back and right-clicking with wooden planks you will have a whole inventory worth of stuff that you can keep in there so you can keep so much

Stuff any kind of works like a little backpack which is really cool as well so now we’ve got to try and make him do stuff so if we have this the command emblem we can make him do things as normal so it’s right-click so he stands

Up and get him to attack things so before I show Boris attacking some mobs I’m going to show you the things that I promised earlier which are the throwing bones so let’s grab this throwing bone here and throw it and hopefully just hopefully he will find it so the

Through it go go Boris good boys go get it for me going going he’s not he’s really taking his time so bring it to me bring it to me please no what what are you even doing come on Boris you’re just stupid what are you doing just look come

Here and I will throw it throw it over the third over here go go fetch it fetch it real nice go on that is not that’s a strange sound you’re making they seems to not be trying to pick it up maybe it’s a glitch

In the mod for now I know this is just updated to one point five point one and some ones are having trouble with it but I’m a good he does go and fetch the bone and he will fetch it and he usually brings it back to you but today he’s

Just not doing it we throw the bone he goes to get it and just doesn’t pick it up so Boris come on just please do it for me no okay and you know I just get out you’re the worst dog ever the worst dog ever so what else can you do with the

Dogs well we’re going to attack some mobs so that’s turn it to nighttime time say it’s night and then we’ll grab some mobs for our inventory so let’s go with the simple creeper and see what he does with them so let’s go over here see what happens

Boris you need to attack you’ll just do just the worst dog you’re actually the worst come on attack him no attack him going attack him what are you doing you know what now will you attack him know your skit you’re completely scared of him and you got killed

You’re the worst dog ever seriously but God’s sake attack this creeper you turn it again you’re just doing it again visible why aren’t you attacking okay so let’s try this again shall we Boris this is spawn this guy in here and will you attack him he’s coming at me oh my god

He’s coming at me he’s attacking there we go that’s what I’m talking about a two-hit killing a zombie that’s much better but why are you so scared of creepers I don’t understand maybe it’s because your creeper level isn’t very high let’s find that out actually that’s quite interesting come here

We need creeper sweeper all the way that art is going even high he’s going to level six going to level six so let’s get a creeper in here and yeah let’s see what he does so we’re gonna just put a creeper in here are you going to sweep

Them up sweep them up real nice no apparently you don’t really like creepers that much and you just like getting blown up by them so that’s not very good is it Boris no so it turns out dogs are still pretty annoying to control but this mod is insanely cool

You can just get them to do things for you they will just you know just be awesome for you there will be awesome but they won’t kill creepers just bear that in mind so that I think it’s pretty much what this mod has to offer I’m Boris oh there is
