I’m a good what is this well I guess that confirms it guys half-life 3 is coming very soon hey everyone dan here from the diamond mine car welcome to another minecraft mod showcase where today we’re going to be taking a look at a half-life mod which

Adds in a ton of cool stuff based off of the ever popular half-life game series but even if you aren’t a fan of the game there are some epic weapons and I mean seriously epic weapons and also some really creepy mobs in here to take a

Look at – so stay tuned and we’ll get straight to it I know try out as a big half-life fan absolutely loves the game so let’s get straight to it and the first thing we’re going to need is actually some power now there’s two ways

To do this you can either use a solar generator or a lava generator and these are kind of similar to any power mods that you’ve used before maybe bill craft or industrial craft or stuff like that and to craft a solar generator we’re going to need lots of different parts

And I’m not going to go really in depth into these crafting recipes I’m just going to go over them just generally because there’s it goes quite deep we’ve got different kind of chipsets we’ve got generators and stuff like that so for this one you’re going to need three

Glass to nether quartz refined steel which is just a smelter to form of iron as you can see just here to smell I’m you get refined steel and then you’re just going to need a fire generator and an electric chipset too and that’s made just like this and then you’ve got the

Fire generator which is made just like this as well with some extra blocks on there but it’s all going to be in the description below with all the recipes and stuff do you mind Trace you’re in the way of my chest I mean geez so let’s take the solar generator actually we’ve already

Got these out here so the solar generator is actually just going to make power whenever the Sun is out and it will tell you where the Sun is in the sky and how much power it’s creating is actually created now 10,000 is actually maxed out so we’re going to

Need somewhere to charge this energy or put this energy to store it away and that’s where the batteries come in and you’re going to craft these with some tin which is a brand new or in this mod and then you need conductive wire and glowstone dust as well and all you need

To simply do is plop it in here and it will start to take the energy that is already made and then charge up the batch and these can hold up to 50,000 you which is amazing and because the Sun is nice and high in the sky it’s not even midday

It’s actually making a lot of energy check this out is going to fully power that and then we’ve also got a lava generator which we just had a look at and what you do you just put the lava buckets in the bottom it will take the

Lava route and just watch this just here it’s going up to 20,000 au so lava is easily the best power so far and it will slowly fill this up and we have 80,000 EU to spend that is 80,000 isn’t it yes and we can charge 50,000 of that in here

And we just put that there we’ll start charging up beautifully so there’s lots of different ways to get energy in here solar is pretty renewable very very nice and slower but then we’ve got the Unruh nua ballon which is lava which takes your lover but it produces a

Lot more energy and you’ll see why we need these batteries in a second discharges other battery you can need it for different machines in this mod and also to charge your amazing half-life armor as well so we’ve got two full batteries to snoots wait for our other

One and while this other one is charging up nicely we’re just going to go into the chest and look at some other things so I just picked out some cool little utility stuff that we’re going to use from the half-life mod and the first one is the health charger now this is a

Really cool thing you can attach to the wall and will instantly allow you to heal when you walk up to it so it’s graphed it you can need some lambda chipsets you can need some health kits some refined steel blocks glass and also a small battery box as well and you’re

Also going to need a med kit enhancer which is for the next part as well so if we just take this health kit charger and then some potions we can actually attach this to the wall just like this I really like the look of it as well it’s kind of

Half-life you really hold school a halflife style but it also kind of fits in with minecraft tooks is very pixely what are you doing don’t stand on the solar generator you’re going to block the Sun what is wrong with you oh my god I told you is a half-life fan he is

Going to be all over this mod in a second so we do right-click it when it’s on the wall and you’re going to have a slot for a battery or any kind of power and then some slots for some regeneration potions or some healing potions so you can either use regional

Healing and shift and click those into there and then add the battery and that will start to suck the power of the healing potion into your first-aid health charger so when they’re all complete they will be filling up just like this the power is filling in nicely

Then you put this one into this side as well and it will start dragging that one into there and what this does is when you go up to it and press f you get a little noise and then that will heal you a little bit how cool is that just get

Your potions put it into the first-aid machine and go up to and just press F and you can have this nice and just snug in your little house on the wall of your house you can regen whenever you like that’s really handy I’m really cool even

If you know a half life that’s a really cool effect so let’s move on and the next I’m going to need which is kind of the same but it’s a portable version is the healthcare and you’re going to need a med kit enhancer to use this I’m also

Going to need some more potions as well this one can hold up to 4 potions in total and the med kit enhancer recipe just for anyone who’s wondering is the health gift for glass some lamda senses or chipsets even small battery boxes and refined steel blocks if we pop this

Machine just down here and then right click it you get a seemingly complex machine but it’s not too complex whatsoever all you need is the battery in the right-hand side here and it’ll start charging up very very nicely and then you need to put the potions in the

Bottom there and they need to put your health kit up here and then it will slowly start to take the power out of it and suck the power out of the instant health potions and put them into this healthcare and it pretty much means you’ve got three potions on you at the

Same time but only taking up one inventory slot so even if you don’t want to use it for its healing powers you can just use it as a transport mechanism it’s really cool it’s basically just a portable version of this so you’ve got this version which is inside your house

Then this version on a simple right-click will give you an instant heal very cool items here I am NOT a big half-life fan at all but these are some really cool items which have lots of uses within Minecraft so what we’re gonna do now is the bit you’ve probably

All been waiting for is the armor charger and the armor now to make the armor charge you’re gonna need some lambda chipsets some refined steel blocks battery boxes empty batteries and some glass as well and this attaches to the wall just like anything else here we

Go just like this one we looked at earlier what I really like is the creeper face on the site they’re very very cool I’m also going to need some power and we’re going to need this armor too which does look amazing when it is

On by the way so let’s take this add the battery which we looked at earlier there we go it’s filling up very nicely there and then we also need to put the armor all in here so it’s going to take a while to charge up it holds a hundred thousand EU each which

Is a crazy amount and we’re probably going to drain quite the food batteries out here just put another battery in there while we charge this one up and this is going to be your Armour and the only thing it really does at the moment is absorb blow so the more it is charged

Up the more it is going to be able to take blows for you to say five creepers explode near you when it’s fully charged you’re not going to get hurt much whatsoever but if it’s only slightly charged and you get blown up by five creepers you

Will take more damage which is a little bit upsetting you can also apply upgrades as well we’re going to look at as well just quickly and then we’re going to Don the suit and look absolutely amazing so the upgrades you can get are the long jump module the fast movement module electricity

Enhancing so there’s a little bit more power friendly defense enhancing module and the falling protection one as well and then we’ve also got the weapon management one which allows you to manage your weapons on the go which we’ll get to later too and the suit is fully charged up which means just one

Thing we can put this amazing piece of machinery on look at this oh my god we’ve got a missing texture but look at this in the bottom left we have a really cool kind of GUI to tell you how much health you’ve got left and how much

Armor and then on the right we’ve got the armor stats as well and in the middle is a missing texture a bit unfortunate but here we go let’s just oh no we can’t look at it there we go that’s better and we’ve got a really cool half life style suit any half-life

Fan should be going crazy right now half life in Minecraft with the suit looks incredible so I’m going to have to take the helmet off for now because of that missing texture which is a little bit annoying but we’re going to move on to some weapons so you’ll forgive me pretty

Quickly we’ve got two ways of making weapons in this mod the weapon crafter or the advanced weapon crafter I won’t show you how to craft them just yet because it’s a little bit long and you can look it in the description below just to speed up the process for me just

Put both of these down and it kind of has a unique way of working let me just pop these back in the way that you don’t physically craft them yourself you just kind of use this as a workbench so this is the basic one at the moment and you

Have to get different parts to make different things now these are all the weapons you can get or some of them you can make in the basic workbench including the classic crowbar which many of you will have seen in gmod as well we’ve also got the we’ve got the Magnum we’ve got the

Nine-millimeter AR the automatic rifle the shotgun and grenades as well which are all really cool and they all have different kind of mini recipes for example the crowbar is going to need one rose red dye one accessories material and two rough steel bars and for the pistol or handgun you’re gonna need some

Pistol material so let’s subscribe to pistol material which all have different crafting recipes as well again which you can see in the description below and if we take these and put this in here and then add actually let me just grab a battery which I was charging earlier

Where did the battery go I think I put it in here i drained the battery again where is it where is it yep I drained the battery let me discharge this battery up again because we’re going to need some power for this bad boy and

Basically what you do is you put all the materials you want to use in here so say for example we want to make the handgun you put to the pistol material inside add some power and then you can craft it and then for the Magnum we’re going to

Need 3 pistol material and two accessories material to craft that and then we’ll be able to craft it later on so let me just grab that battery quick give me that it charges up really really quickly in the solar panel and now we should be able to add power to it are

You going to power up are you going to power up a tool let me try just click in here and here we go crafting the oh it’s crafting we’re going to need heat yeah I thought we needed lava I thought we need a lava instead of the battery so let’s

Just grab a couple of buckets of lava so it seems like you use instead of batteries you use lava as a mechanism for this let’s put some in there it should heat up very nicely let’s just add loads of different ones in there and then it should be good to go and we

Should be able to craft our 9-millimeter handgun now I’m not going to craft all of these because it will take forever I’ve got them all pre-made in the testing chamber so we can shoot these bad boys and test these amazing guns out go and heat up it’s heating up you see

You’re going to need about 4000 heat to make this actually just about a thousand where this little red line is to craft the handgun it’s almost there it’s almost there it will consume the pistol material and then we’ll be able to take our handgun out and check this out we’ve

Got our badass handgun and they are 3d models as well which all look very nice and now we can fire this bad boy check that out very very cool and now we’re going to get on to some awesome weapons because this is just the basic

One this is the place it can go and oh god oh good I probably should have done that but anyway let’s carry on this is just the basic handgun we have got so much we’ve got shotguns 9-millimeter automatic rifles we’ve got crossbows we’ve got RPG launchers the satchel

Bombs we’ve got a hate ECU turret a Gauss a hive hand and loads more so let me just put all this stuff up here and we can grab each weapon and try them out oh yeah this is this is fun this is going to be fun right then let’s go

Ahead in case we do blow up some more glass which I guess is kind of inevitable we’ve got the shotgun which is really cool it’s got kind of like a more powerful shot but a bigger cooldown time so I can’t power these up all the time and if you listen very closely

You’ll hear the reload action just in there which is very nice well there’s a shotgun what’s got the automatic rifle oh god actually that’s not an automatic rifle at all that’s like a grenade launcher oh Jesus I didn’t know that existed I thought hey are standing for automatic

Rifle well you know we’ve got a grenade launcher in as well which can cause massive destruction as you can see right here what’s got the Magnum which is your classic classic gun like this are beautiful actually yes I keep forgetting this we’ve got two different ways we can

Click this we’ve got the right-click action and the left-click action so for this rifle right here we’ve got a right-click action which fires out these grenade and then a left click which allows you to just hone what’s ever in your way it’s amazing and we’ve also got

The Magnum Lee shoots like this got the crossbow which is very nice so if we’d use the right click just to fire it like that we can crossbow someone in the face we’ve also got the RPG rocket launcher which is crazy and this one has two

Modes has a normal mode where it has a tracking mode now I think the tracking mode is kind of like heat-seeking oh god I don’t mean to do that and it will heat seek anything you fire at so you see that red dot if it’s like hitting a cow

Or a player or something it will kind of track towards it which is very cool but the normal mode is just a straight-up destruction boom that is crazy then we have the high pan which is an interesting one this one has a bouncing bullet if I shoot it at the lab there

Will actually bounce off whatever it hits it will be able to UM destroy and it’s also got a homing mode as well so if I bring in just a cowl here let me just bring in a cow here we go and spawn this bad boy in if I shoot

Just above it it will actually kind of zoom in and just kill it which is a crazy feature look at that it’s amazing and also bounce off walls as well so you don’t have to worry about wasting ammo the next one is the Gauss which has a

Very cool laser ability let’s check this out here we go let’s just blast this cow to oblivion there we go it’s going to blow it up very nicely and it’s also got a more powerful one as well which will shoot you back but also provide a powerful laser when you hold down the

Right click boom there we go that cow is going to get obliterated when I put this one in here we go let’s do this and blow up this cow very very nicely here we go are you ready for this guys are you ready are you ready boom that Cal is

Dead in one shot so you can see how powerful that is then we have the satchel which is kind of like c4 satchels as you can get in many many mods but this one’s really cool you right-click going to the setting mode and then left-click to face the satchels

Down then when you place them down you right-click to change the detonating mode left-click and boom the c4 will go off and destroy whatever is in its path right and the last one is kind of a weapon but kind of a utility as well if I right-click this on the floor and then

Left-click it when it’s open on the floor check this out we need to grab a hostile mob so let’s grab I’m let’s grab a spider and whatever goes past this will get destroyed by this turret and it’s foursome here we go look at that got that fell oh my

Goodness that spider got destroyed let’s see what it does if there’s a couple in here and that one oh my goodness it just fired it straight into the air destroy it destroy it destroy it oh my god the whole mobs will attack it so it will

Take damage but it’s got 20 health and has a much more powerful attack of the spider anyway so any hostile mob to come cast this turret will get absolutely destroyed so now that we’ve seen all of these amazing weapons we are going to use them on some brand new mobs and also

Visit another dimension as well because it’s really cool and kind of creepy at the same time so you can craft this portal just like this you can pause the video here to find out how to graft it and you simply just right click it on the ground and it will form the portal

And when you walk into that it will take you to the brand new place but what we want to do right now is get rid of some of this so that we can grab some of the spawn eggs just at the top there then we

Just do this do this and move these all the way to the top and then we have to grab these amazing-looking mobs and kind of scary ones as well and blast them into oblivion they got really cool looking spawn eggs and they’re really awesome looking at the same time so

Let’s go into this portal and here we go straight into the brand new dimension which is very creepy look at this oh my god it looks exactly like the half-life you’ve got kind of like a zero gravity effect coming on here go kind of jump

And you kind of glide through the air at the same time and now it’s time to destroy some mobs we have got some generated structures I think that’s just something you can climb looks very freaky I must admit you’ve also got these cool-looking kind of worm lamps they’re

Called Zen lights and they kind of react to daylight and they move around very very freaky animals let’s look at some other freaky animals too by looking at these mobs and we’re going to start with the snark hive and all these will randomly spawn in this dimension – this

Is a snug a very small little beetle which will completely try and attack you get out of here get out of here very hard to hit actually but they only have one health and then we’re going to move on to all of these as well and I’m

Pretty scared because I’m gonna go into game-mode 0 and do this let me I should have grabbed a sword but anyway we’ll be fine for now we’ve got a headcrab which is gross and it will jump on your face how you doing buddy oh it’s a creepy looking thing look at that ah

What are you doing let’s see what it does how about its overhead how do I get this bad boy off what the hell oh no no I’m gonna shoot you I’m gonna shoot you when you get off my head I’m gonna shoot you don’t hurt me don’t hurt me please

Don’t hurt me please where did it go where did it go no no ways is on my head as freak me out let’s move on to the next one before this this thing comes back but anyway let’s move on to the barnacle now spawning barnacle spawning

I swear it spawn in okay maybe that one doesn’t want to spawn in try the headcrab zombie oh god what’s happened to you sir it’s got a massive open chest that head is just a headcrab get away from me get away from me I’m going to crossbow you I’m going to

Crossbow you oh good crossbow damn straight in the head crab goodbye sir I have to I have to destroy your disgusting sorry oh no no I did not think that was going to happen so the headcrab zombie will just come after you like a normal zombie but when

You destroy it it will spawn in a headcrab which will try to jump on your face very disgusting but you do get some cool stuff out of it some DNA fragments and stuff you can use for crafting that’s me once the next one the houndeye oh good look at you these are very

Strange oh I want to see the front of it here oh good no no no no no not yet not yet not yet I want to see the front of you oh my goodness are those teeth are those teeth sir you look very upsetting

And oh no no no no no what do you know what is sad what is that attack oh my god oh my god that is freaky we need to get this guy out of here out of here on overtime oh I’ve run out of ammo it’s

Gonna have to be this Bam Bam get out of here oh my god that was that was pretty gross and it seems to have an attack where it will just spasm for a little bit and then I make a crazy-looking force field which will hurt you these

Mobs have pretty smart AI and they’re very terrifying as well and the last one is the Vorta guns I think I’m saying that correctly all the vortigaunts it’s more this guy oh god I don’t wanna oh my god alien slave is that your name what

Are you doing no don’t fire a green at me don’t do that so look at him he looks like kind of like a robot slash alien and this guy already doing ahh are you doing no so you can see that my armor is actually absorbing those hits very

Nicely and this guy Oh get out of here sir you’re really annoying me look at that the mobs AI is really cool let’s let’s take this guy out die die alien slave die right we’re going to go back to the overload and see if we can spawn

In the barnacles I’m not sure why it’s not working barnacle why won’t you work for me barnacle ok we’re going to have to leave it there and that is that is pretty much the half-life mod we’ve got some crazy weapons some crazier mobs and I’m sure Trey or wherever he’s gone will be
