No grim green don’t stare at it for too long it’s gonna it’s gonna burn your eyes oh my god it’s done it’s burnt your eyes out hey everyone dan here from the diamond minecart and welcome to another minecraft mod review where today I’m gonna be showcasing the

Ultimate and nether mod which adds in an absolute ton of content into your game including a complete revamp of the nether brand-new items mobs and even another dimension on top of that so let’s dive straight in where we begin in between two of the brand-new biomes in

This mod and you’ve just seen him grimace here to help us out so this is actually a brand new dimension in mod but unfortunately Travis is not gonna be able to be with us because I kind of didn’t let him this is a very very dangerous couple of mods we’ve got here

We’ve got larvae everywhere big pitfalls in the new new dimension which is gonna be very treacherous for the clumsy trailer so Grim’s here and he can’t really die he’s dead already so that’s a plus and he’s a lot smarter than trailers as well so as I said we are in

Between two of the new overworld biomes in this mod which are the frozen hello biome which were in on the left here with all the ice and the normal nether biome on the right which comes in two flavors which I’ll get to later on so

The one on the left is the frozen Hell biome and there’s two mobs that spawn here there is your traditional where if they’d gone there were loads here there were the traditional snow golems so they will spawn randomly around helping you out against these hostile mobs including

These new ones here which are called lost souls and they’re kind of hostile but kind of not they won’t attack you unless you attack them so just leave them alone and they will be fine they’re just they’re just lost souls looking for their their lost bodies I guess so it’s

Probably best to leave them alone they actually have another special ability too which I’ll get to later on when we actually go to the nether so those are two mobs that can spawn just randomly and these are two that can spawn during the night and they are the ice ghost and

The ice Pigman so this is the ice ghost he is kind of like a short and fat tubby little blaze with a skeleton face and he will attack you because he is very very hostile and he’s just all icy so when you kill him he has 20 off which is

Fairly decent when you kill him he will drop a zero to three ice blocks so I didn’t get any then but sometimes you can drop all the way up to three ice blocks which is very cool and the other one we have is the ice Pigman he’s

Burning oh my god he’s burning so this guy it’s just like a normal Pigman covered in ice he’s not even a zombie pigman he hasn’t had time to rot yet and he has got a golden sword as well he will burn in the daylight and drop ice

When he dies to 0 to 3 depending on your luck basically so those are the two nighttime mobs for this particular biome to be very careful out here there’s ice absolutely everywhere snow it’s cold there’s mobs everywhere it’s not a great place to be at night so let’s look at

The nether biome which still isn’t that great to be around at night but anyway we’ve got some cool features here so the ground is completely covered in nether rack and we also have these really cool spawning oh my god there’s a ghast gasps I’m pretty sure don’t spawn in this

Biome so he must have come out of there that is not good he must have come out of the portal Wow what do spawn here though our zombie pigments you’ve got your traditional zombie pigmen hit one of them and you will get plowed down by

All of them so be very careful of those we’ve got lava mountains which are insane they look really really cool and these mushrooms over here you just got like the mushroom tops and the mushroom stems and they can bear you different kind of materials to replant mushrooms

Wherever you like and there’s one other biome that is very similar to this but I’ll get to that later because it covers the floor with a different or rather than nether I’ll get to that later and the uses for it so the first thing I’m going to cover in this brand new

Biome where’s grim I going to sit down because there’s very dangerous stuff over here so you need to be very careful game you listening to me you should be very careful my young friends so just come over here and just don’t stray from the path that I follow so yeah are you

Okay yeah he’s okay teleport it’s fine now sit down while I explain to the loyal subscribers what is going on here so what we’ve got here is kind of an extension of vanilla minecraft items and we’ve got glowstone and obsidian all made in different kind of forms and

Shapes and stuff like that and we have got a lot in the glowstone category got slabs you’ve got stairs we got fences we’ve even got trapdoors doors and armor set and a tall set as well so there’s lots of really cool things in here you can find all the recipes for all of

These things I don’t show you I will show you some of them but not all of them they’ll be very very long and this has lot in this mod so check them out in the scription below it’s a very extensive crafting guide there so these are all glowstone items have a

Pretty weak durability as with the tools the tools are actually better than gold but they only have 25 durability which is very very bad I think I might be slightly better than gold I’m not too sure or just a little bit below maybe even equal but it’s it’s worth it if you

Can get it the remember glowstone is very difficult to come across and you are going to need to be using the blocks and a blaze rod to craft these rather than just the dust so be wary of that and the armor is abiding by the same

Rules so the next set as I mentioned was obsidian there’s not as much here there isn’t a tool set or armor set but there is walls fences fence gates stairs and slabs as well just to make your portal room look even better and just build with obsidian which is a lot stronger

Material than anything else in your entire game so another couple of interesting items added to the glowstone and particularly nether brick item sets is these BAM yes these are secret doors so at first these look like just normal 3×3 structures of both nether brick and glowstone but you can actually craft

Hidden doors we just have the texture of nether bricks are too high nether brick in a too high glowstone and you can make secret rooms it’s pretty damn sweet and very random in this mod but it is still very cool so the next thing we’re going over is grobel also there are two

Different global ores in this mod it is gold and it’s also glowstone so it’s a bit more an efficient way to get both of these this mod kind of adds more very importance to gold in its recipes so you can have the ability to grow it as well

So it can be very tricky to find and this is the stuff I was talking about earlier black stone now this is the stuff which can spawn in the other biome which is very similar to this but instead of nether AK it will be black stones you just mined that up and you’ll

Be able to use this for your farming purposes so instead of tilled dirt you’ll be using black stone as your farming soil if you will so in here we have a growing glowstone and growing gold which act like your seed and a craft growing stone you are going to

Need six glowstone blocks as well as two glow stone slabs and this crazy-looking thing in the middle which is a very strange thing yep that’s its name a very strange thing and you get this from a a very rare drop from the mob that we’ll see later on

That has been added to the nether so just bear that in mind you can need one of those to create a growing glowstone and the girl Gold is going to take another very strange thing six blocks of gold which is very very expensive and two gold as

Well but do bear in mind you’re going to be able to get a lot more gold back when you’re finished with this so if we take these all you need to simply do is have it instead of water you kind of need to replace your traditional farming methods

With black stone and the lava so the black stone is your tilled dirt and your lava is your water which is your growing source so if you right-click with these seeds we were able to let them grow and well that grew so quick look at this Wow

How is it growing so quick but anyway you’ll get glowstone dust from these ones when you mined them and you actually get golden nuggets from these rather than golden ingots you have to collect some nine together so you can create ingots which is very very cool so

Up next what have we got we’ve got this random other addition which is why I wanted Grimm to stay away which is muds let me just pop these back for a second and I’ll pop that in there as well now mud is like a quicksand so if I walk over it

It will slowly slow me down and drag me under the ground now because this is only one block high it won’t actually suffocate me because I can I can still breathe my head is above the ground and I can easily jump out of it as well not

If I’m in survival though you will be very very stuck and I’m not sure how on earth you get out of it but if I grab this piggy here it will also kill mobs especially ones that a one block high look like I’m so sorry piggy I’m sorry

Look he’s just dealing with it he’s just dealing with it straight away he’s going under he will suffocate and eventually die but you do get the drops from it so the drops will appear and why is it always raining here so there is just one more

Thing I need to go over here which is this over here this is a very very shiny looking soul sand which is called enchanted salt and I will show you how to make that later on if I remember but if not again there are loads of crafting recipes on

The website in the link below which you can check out after you’ve watched this video so this pretty much just acts the opposite of normal soul sand and will speed you up rather than slow you down so this is normal walking speed oh my god did you see how fast that was and

Now I am going to do it sprinting how crazy is this you’re going to be doing a crazy amount of elect our there I don’t even know how your legs can move that fast that is pretty incredible so yeah you can make that just makes traveling

Around your world a lot easier and a lot quicker than stuff like minecart so what are we going to do now I think that’s pretty much it for this biome so we are going to the nether are you ready Grimm are you ready for this I think you are so let’s

Go let’s go straight into the nether and here we are um where’s oh there’s Grimm he kind of beat me to it why are these things bothering you The Lost soldiers need to look for their bodies and leave so come on Grimm we need to go to a different locations who

Will press this magic button just be careful why did you go did you just go threat why did oh my god he just went back through the portal okay guys it’s okay I found him he’s just running around I managed to him back through the portal why are you running away what is

Wrong with you anyway we need to go to another location so I need to just press this button and he should meet us there Grimm Grimm where are you buddy where has even got to four cuts are there he is I can see his tail outside this tree

And this is a mighty beautiful tree my ad this is a brand-new tree structure in the new nether and I’ll just do a quick fly around of what the new never looks like so adds stuff like these fire trees it adds this which is the mushroom which

We saw from the overworld biome and we’ve also got this which is called nether slime and this works exactly the same as the fire you will actually burn and die if you touch it so that is pretty much the changes to the nether apart from new structures and this which

Is a brand new or you actually can get gold ore now in the nether as I said earlier he’s kind of putting a focus on the gold part of your Minecraft adventure so you can mine this head and this is the only or that you can get in

The nether so far so grim why are you hiding behind this tree you’re being really pesky today but anyway this tree you can hack down yourself and mine and turn it into these which are very nice looking grey planks which is also called nether woods now this nether wood can be

Crafted into nether wood stairs fences bends gates we’ve got slabs walls and this awesome looking door as well so if you’re looking for a kind of like a darker house build that just looks a bit more creepy maybe your haunted house or an abandoned house this looks very very

Cool and a nice alternative to the normal wood so that’s what you get from firewood and you’ve also got these amazing fire leaves as well it just makes the nether look a lot more interesting because there isn’t really much else here so what else are we going

To go over today well we’re going to go over some recipes for the really powerful weapons you can get in this mod and it all starts with the nether ingot now don’t get this confused with nether brick it is very different and obtained very differently it’s actually obtained with a very expensive recipe

Is quite powerful but it does involve nether brick so you’re going to need six nether bricks one nether warts one obsidian and one blaze powder for one nether ingot and that can be used to be made into stuff called epic either ingot which is what you’re going to need for

The rest of your tools and stuff so the way you’re going to make your epic nether ingot is by taking a normal nether inger and placing it inside this which is a hell altar which is this thing and kind of looks like a more scary and creepy crafting table now to

Craft this you are going to need one gas tier two magma creams one of them very very strange things and three epic nether blocks now I hear you ask how can we get epic nether blocks without getting epic nether bricks first well these are actually just made with normal

Nether ingots so just take the nether English put them into a block of nine and you’ll get one epic nether block and yeah that’s just how it works in this mod now the fuel for this particular table the hell altar is actually magma cream and you can take your nether

Ingots place it in the top and add some magma cream to it it will start to smell to where with this beautiful red flame and this nice red progress bar which looks a little bit different to a furnace so it’s pretty much just a more advanced hell version of the crafting

Table and here we go here is our first epic nether ingot so you use this for some of the recipes but I am going to go over now starting with the new tools you can get so really there’s just a new armor set and a whole new toolset that

You can make with these epic nether Inga’s and they are better than diamond and have a pretty decent durability as well I think it might be the same durability as diamond but a bit more powerful so to craft these just use the traditional armor recipes as well as the

Normal weapon recipes but you are going to need nether sticks which are crafted from either two nether wood planks from that tree in the corner over there or by three of these bad boys which are nether mushrooms now these grow randomly and then ever they can only be placed on

Nether AK I think these are actually seeds so this one isn’t fully grown yet when it’s a little bit taller and has a black stalk you can then harvest them grab them and be able to make these which are nether sticks so there’s just different ways of making nether sticks

This one makes three this one makes two this one arguably the easier way so that will help you to create your new tool so as you can see this one has plus eleven attack damage that is so insane it is incredibly good I think a normal diamond

Sword yeah has seven so you’re getting for more attack damage for your trouble so it’s definitely worth it now what can we go over now well we’ve already gone over gold ore we’ve got evil mobs or special weapons let’s go over the special weapons first and the core of

These well two of the special weapons is a fire gem now a fire gem is obtained by taking two gas tiers in each corner top left and bottom right a lava bucket and four magma cream paired with a diamond and another very strange thing which

We’ll get to the mob that drops that in a second and that will create one fire gem then you can go on to create the burning nether bow and the ammo for that which is a nether arrow now the burning nether bow will need three gas tiers –

Epic nether ingots which we just learned how to create as well as a fire gem which we also just learned how to craft and then another very strange things you’re gonna need a lot of these so we’re gonna find out how to make those in a minute and then you get this

Burning nether bow and create an ammo for it you just need one fire gem one nether stick and one gas tin now this weapon is very interesting it acts exactly like a bow I don’t need the arrows when I’m something creative but you don’t have any pull back time you

Just right-click and it fires out these amazing fire arrows so they’re very powerful because they set your mobs on fire but I don’t think they have any particular strength more than a normal arrow apart from that they are very difficult to craft but they’re going to

Be so worth it look at the look you can span these so quickly compared to a normal bow but I’m not going to kill a zombie pigman right now because I don’t really want them all chasing after me so there’s one more weapon which does come

From one of the mobs that we get to in a second which is the Diablo it does 22 attack damage that is double the epic and nether Inglot sword that we just learned how to craft and this is a very rare drop from the mob we will get to

Right now it can also have a special ability of right-clicking and spawning in nether mushrooms which is very very random but it’s very cool at the same time so let’s get to the mob that starts all this so we’ve got the lost soul and I actually need to grab another piece of

Equipment here which is a piece of iron because these can turn your iron ingots into gold a bit random but yeah another focus on the gold section of this mod so here it is the lost soul is very cloud-like when you’re looking over them which is very cute they are pretty cute

Actually for hostile mobs and again they won’t hurt you unless you hurt them first and you can right-click with an iron ingot and it will turn it straight to gold just be very careful with your stacks of iron because if you right-click it with like 10 in your hair

It will actually swallow it and only give you one gold back so do it one other time and you’ll get a better return for it so the next one I’ve been talking about all the time about this strange multicolored patterned item that we’ve been going over is all going to

Make sense because this is the slaughter look at this guy he’s got a very very defensive helmet on there looks kind of like that contraption from saw he’s got a cape he’s got no legs and he’s usually carrying his weapon which we put over here I think it’s because I’ve spawned

Him in that you haven’t got it but he’s usually carrying this which is the Diablo and we can see how much damage this does he has 40 HP or health whatever you want to call it and yet this will do a ton of damage so this is

The guy he will take you very seriously you can hear that very creepy sound as well making me very very nervous so we’re gonna get him out of here and he will drop two of the very strange things look at that it’s gonna hurt your eyes a

Little bit look at that don’t look at it for too long otherwise your eyes will just go a bit fuzzy I’m going to get out my Hanks it is a bit strange so yeah those are the mobs in the nether that have been added to the nether as well as

The new weapons which are very interesting such as pop that one back and now we have a couple of structures to look at including the nether dungeon and the new maze so these two have just been added to make the nether a lot more interesting when exploring so let’s go

To the nether dungeon so this is what I never dungeon looks like it is usually covered over like this it will just be you just be searching around the nether and you will find this random patch of nether bricks and what you’ve got to do

Is kind of mine inside and you will find one spawner which will either be a Pigman or a blaze spawner there’s actually a blaze one in here how you doing fellas how are you doing and there’s actually some really cool chests in here you can get some cool stuff like

Growing gold nether warts and nether stick stuff that’s pretty hard to get in this mod and excuse me services sorry sorry to bother you cannot get lava as well you can get nether slime buckets and lots of cool stuff from this mod as well so it’s worth finding them and

Delving straight into them if you can I’ll just leave you alone now sirs I’m very sorry to disturb you so that is the nether dungeon let’s just hop back quickly come on are you behaving yourself are you behaving yourself don’t do anything to that tree just don’t

Touch anything and I’ll be back in a second okay yeah I thought so it’s fine it’s fine he’s behaving himself guys much more than Trey or us would be anywhere here so let’s go to the next thing which is the nether maze which is a very very cool structure look at this

Greenness you can see a bit more of how the nethers laid out now looks very very cool when you pair it with the nether fortresses as there is in vanilla minecraft everything is lot more worth exploring so this is the nether maze it’s kind of spawned a bit weird in this

One but as you can see at the top it’s got kind of nether brick leading you in the direction so if you can see one from the top then make sure you check it out it will show you like the right way to go there’s lots of different entrances

Here and there are traps within as well as chests so I’m quickly going to show you some of the traps there’s apparently pigmen in here as well there they will be out to get you so there are chests in here which contain items from this mod

And mainly food so you can get nether mushrooms from here and these are trap so as you can see if I step on here a piece of TNT comes down and it won’t explode it’s just a way to drop okay it will explode but it won’t do much damage

And then you’ve got the lava as well which will pretty much just fall into unless you’re running so be very careful about them it’s gonna be very difficult to jump over these not only when you’re in survival but because there’s only a one ceiling height so be very careful of

Them oh my god I’ve glitched see I can’t even do in creative so we’re gonna have a look at what the goal is for these mazes and I’ve just done a little cheating way here because it goes all the way into here so let’s run along

This little bit and drop down into the center where we will be met by this amazing statue so this statue just marks the center you’ve reached the treasure he’s guarding it so far but he doesn’t do a very good job because he doesn’t do much right now it will be added later on

And oh my god it looks like this spawn is in here I didn’t even know that looks like a zombie Pigman spawn is how you doing sir yeah you go that way it’s fine we’ll just loot this out let’s just see what we’ve got in here we have got lots

Of golden goodies we’ve got nether bucket and nether stick some nether wart lots of gold this is while talking about the nether slime buckets you can have your own little slime pits and some other cool stuff so that is the dungeon and where did we come in it’s okay it’s

Over here so we were going to go back now and I think we’re going to check out the brand new dimension with our buddy grim so that is pretty much it for the nether so let’s head back to the overworld and check out this brand new dimension come on grant let’s go you’re

Allowed to move now it’s okay come on come on we’ve made it hi grim how did you even get here before us anyway it’s fine he got here safe and sound so this unleash him for a little bit let him run around but don’t go in the mud actually nope you

Here if you go in the mud then that’s the end of you I don’t know if you can survive that even though you’re already dead your bones will get all sticky and it’ll be very very nasty especially since I bought you that call it the other day the brand new collar it’s fine

Let’s go over to the brand new portal which will take us to the I think it’s called the fallen sky if I’m wrong I’m very very sorry there’s so much to remember in this mod and what you’ve got a make out of is a ton of epic nether

Blocks so the minimum you’re going to need is 10 I’ve used 14 here just because I want it to look square and what you’re going to need to light it with is simply just flint and steel just as you would with a normal metal poles also create epic nether blocks light

With a flint and steel and we’ll be on our way to the brand new dimension and we’ve landed and we’ve actually landed in this stuff which is smoke you get nausea for a little second as well just to scare you a little bit and make you

Feel weird so this is smog it’s kind of like a cloud if we fly around it it’s a cloud that you can actually stand in though these things will spawn making disgusting and gas noises very very loud if you’ve got your volume turned up but yeah these will spawn in here and

Whereas grim grim where are ye sitting on top of there you cute little thing grim where is the up here grim you how did you even get up here just explain I don’t understand I had to fly to get up here how did you get here you are a very

Very talented dog my friend and you’ve been digging holes as well you’ve been trying to bury these guys I can understand that they’re making a lot of noise so here you can see the world generation is kind of focused on floating islands down there just where

My cursor is is an ice ghost so they will spawn here there is one of these nasty things over here let me just thrive here it might like a little bit because the generation is a work in progress here’s this guy the slaughter this is where he spawns – and it’s

Getting very loud in here so I’m backing off I’m backing up out of here because it’s getting very loud but mind you is gonna be loud over here you guys just need to tone it down it’s okay it’s okay so the other thing is pretty much just

One thing that’s here and it’s exclusive to this biome at the moment or dimension and this is plumbum I kid you not this is called plumbum or and you get plumbum ingots for it so you can see a little bit generating just down there where my

Cursor is and yet it generates here you mine it and you will get plum bomber ingots yeah plum gun Inga’s the name is debatable but anyway what you can make with this is the plum bomb and it doesn’t do much in attack damage but it does give you a poison effect

Every time you use it so it’s worth crafting if you can find them there’s a loss of plum bun down there as you can see this pig is almost dead and we’ll do a finishing blow to get our three pork chops so very very cool idea and yeah I
