I think guys welcome back to the UHC challenge thingy I’m not really sure what to call it it’s just ultimate hardcore and I’m just kind of abiding my time I’m not really sure what to do I kind of need to go and get some more trees to make some more stuff but There’s a guy out there and I don’t want him to be threatened by me I come in peace I do I don’t want him to attack me but if you saw last time we did get full iron armor which is incredible I mean full iron that’s ridiculously good and Yeah we got full iron that’s all good we got um yeah and I unn sword there’s a guy down there so he could be making his way over to me and very wary that there could be people around all I need is some coal so it’s still got a coal Problem but this should be enough come on grab this and then I need to check on that guy where’s that guy where is that guy I’ve lost sight of him right I’m going down I’m going down I’ve lost sight of him why could do is kind of Cook some stone and make it smooth so that I can be down there which would be a really good idea but for now I just need to put my furnace down smell up some wood get some charcoal and then make myself secure so that’s what I’m Gonna do put this in there and make some charcoal then I should have enough wood for sticks and torches so let’s just do that make some sticks and yeah wait and see what happens I’m gonna be very patient with this usually I’m a very Light go for it in kill him guy but for now I’m not too sure the other guy has ten health I am very worried right now because I cannot see his nametag he’s gone he’s actually gone out of my it might be a good thing that you run away It might be good right we can start making some torches now thank God thank God got eight torches now I’m just gonna wait for this we’ve got a decent amount of food we found a village last time which was amazing actually found a village is that guy’s name tag I know is This I’m so I’m so like um just worried right now just worried right we’re going to if charcoal to make some more torches but I’m gonna keep them for now bring this up there we go right oh my god oh my god let’s go around let’s sort out this place see What’s going down in here I need to be very careful cuz I’m aware that mobs will be able to spawn wherever they like we’re gonna have to light up this place really damn good because if we come across something oh my god his phone call but there’s a skeleton there Jesus As a skeleton I’d want to attract his attention I found a skeleton and skeletons are awful they really are it means that they can shoot through and just destroy you and I’m not happy about that to be honest but at least I can grab this coal Yes that’s fine that’s fine he can’t get me from here what am I gonna do though a skeleton and that’s why I want to go I really need to go there damn – basically damn I don’t think I need any more iron to be honest I need to Kind of right that’s the surface I need a game plan my game plan is to just kind of make my way into them I guess a mine shafts a pretty good idea get as much iron as I can just so that no one else can get it and then just work from there Well this is going to be a long session it’s like half 9:00 at night for us the Americans are recording about 4 5 p.m. as well which is good for them but but bad for me because I’m going to be so tired by the end of this it can last For a long time it really can and I need to be worrying my surroundings I can’t believe I found a skeleton already I just saw it it’s Bo peeking around the corner right what’s around here is there are this coal beautiful it’s cold down here As well let’s light this up there we go and kind of block this off there we go oh no oh no oh no oh this is really annoying it’s all in water there’s a lot of coal though so it’s going to be worth it I’m just going to take all of this Goodness and sort out later so someone comes and I’ll be able to get me and less they attack like what a break a block so I’ll know about it which is cool and there’s a lot of coal here exactly what I needed a lot of water as Well which is kind of annoying but it’s all good we can just stand up here and not get the delayed mining times get a nice amount of experience as well which is good look at their water physics good game minecraft GG minecraft look at them water physics it’s beautiful right I’m Glad that guy kind of backed off because that means I don’t have to worry about him for a while i baited going to get him but uh you know it’s not I don’t think it’s going to be worth my time right let’s get this out of here and now I have got another way to go so it’s not all it’s not all um it’s not all bad by now have decent amount of ores this is my food and a skeleton problem god dammit and I also need to make a another stone actually I could make an iron one now if I just smelt some iron quickly let me just let me just use wood for now cuz I only need one there we go and yeah this is a challenge this is something very different than I’ve done before it’s just a whole session of doing survival and you know survival is At best not too great if you’ve seen my modded survival series it’s not amazing I’m not great at it but I’ve practice you eights you a little bit on a cool little server like I remember the server name of it and now I got invited by Thinknoodles a very cool guy to do this so I’m gonna do this I’m going to prove that I can actually do this to myself Ruffin for anyone else but yeah I’m going to find out if I can do it they’ve got some pickaxes I think I’m doing okay So far full iron straightaway isn’t too bad come on you can’t say that’s too bad I think I might like this up a little bit more I need some more torches I can make all of these now I’ve got that cut all beautiful did I leave that there yes fine we’re all good I don’t think I see any nametags nearby that’s all good with me let’s go up here and see what’s going on up the top what’s going down here but there’s a little bit of darkness it is our two dead end why would you do this to me I’m Going to light it up anyway so the only way is for that skeleton now there’s only really one way to effectively kill skeletons and that is to a chop at their feet like a madman so I’m gonna have to locate where the skeleton is go around Behind it and sort it out that way so let’s try that let me just rearrange this a little bit there we go I don’t use my iron pickaxe just yet so I think he was right let me um make sure that I’ve got a quick getaway just in case he’s right there oh Man there’s water oh yeah I forgot about the water right where are you Skelly as he moved is that a skeleton I can’t I can’t really tell that is definitely a skeleton so he’s right at the bottom of that waterfall now and I’m not really sure what to do I Don’t even know if it’s worth it I don’t even know if there’s a cave down there worth trying to get down there for there’s not really any odds that I can see so I might just you know make my way down the normal way because I know There’s a skeleton there so I don’t really want to bother him so let’s go down this way see if we can find anything worthwhile because you are allowed to do this there is a rule that no strip mining but this is not strip mining all you need to do Is just kind of make a staircase down and that doesn’t count so that’s pretty good let me just do this so I’m happy that I went past the first episode that is fine that is an achievement as long as I as long as I get past like being Able to do a decent second episode that’s fine because obviously you have the 20 minute grace period at the beginning but um yeah oh good I’m so just rambling on somewhere solo commentary for possibly three hours and possibly more that’s a dangerous prospect for me and obviously time this Is going to become a factor as well but I hope you enjoy it’s very different it’s probably something for those of you that really enjoy a survival maybe not the modern survival just a classic minecraft with no regen and stuff like that it just can be classic testing your Minecraft skills and it’s fun it is a fun game oh so if you want to try out there is ways to do it there’s a command now in 1.6 which is interesting to be able to actually disable so that you don’t regain hunger so that’s worth Looking at if you want to try this game-mode out for yourself but yeah what is the plan for now well the plan is I need to find oh wow there’s like a wall of cobblestone here I need to knock cobblestone I’m cold so why needs fine is I don’t need any Coal anymore but thanks world for generating all that for me why do you need is apples and gold and if I don’t really think I’m going to go to know that it takes too much resources that is the only way you’re going to make like awkward potions to craft them into regen Potions so I am a bit worried about that I should have punched leaves for apples I guess I could do that still because I know that no one’s really come down here so I might do that right let me try and should I go back and get those I Think I’m going to do that if there’s nothing around that I’m going to go and get some apples let’s try it there shouldn’t be anything spawning around takes I’ve lit it up quite nicely but it still needs be careful because you never know and in accordance to mobs what You’re really looking for is um well what you’re not looking for are zombies mini ones to be exact because oh god this is on me there no no no you can back off son I don’t want you here in my life back off no don’t climb up there don’t Do it don’t do it no no no I need to get to the surface now but damn is aam being I knew I should have ah I need to check they can’t get through I knew I should have lit this up there we go whoever tries to follow me Ins gonna have a zombie to deal with shame it looks like someone has actually been deceived for over 10 minutes which means they cannot rejoin which is unfortunate that’s really unfortunate oh god I almost fell down there that bad right let me just get to the cervix I Know there are trees above here and there’s no name tags nearby which is good let’s any Apples I don’t know if the spawn rate is changed for apples because apples are quite an important ingredient right now because um yeah they’re going to be able to pretty much be your only way to get any kind of regen out here and it doesn’t look like I’m gonna be finding Any right now just let me get some apples please please I’m on some apples bro I want some apples the only thing is I’m gonna have to find where I got that before right where is that place where I just came in I can find it please sit oh it’s here It’s here so I need to kind of let’s mark that with a torch so I know where is and I can take that torch down in the meantime is there anyone around could there’s a snow biome around there’s some sugar cane I’m not hundred social but I really need To get to be honest so apples are going to be the first thing I’m not sure whether they only work with decay so what I could make is a quick a quick quick quick little axe so let’s do that um just make a stone one for now that’s gravel There we go um pick this up and oh my god I’m so tense when people and there could be people around I could it’s good to get this wood anyway but um if it’s gonna be a little bit um touchy trying to get these apples and I’m gonna have To try and decay them as well while it kind of saves me some time too which is good all right that should decay naturally now and hopefully will bear me some a please I need some Apple is please I don’t know how else I can get apples I think this is literally the Only way to get apples em so yeah we know there’s one person that could be relatively close um yeah I’m worried again I’m worried I’m always well gods why let’s get him to burn come is on me yet yeah you’re mad let’s access chicken down as well mobs Are a little bit laggy unfortunately that could be bad for me so I’m gonna have to keep that in mind when fighting stuff and yeah you die you die real good so it is eternally day up here which is really good but of course there’s dark Parts where this all I could have been that zombie that came up from you know where we were before it could it could have actually been that one who knows you’re gonna make me any apples bro come on you can do it you can do it just give Me at least even just one would be fine I don’t know I think our there’s one yes yes yes yes so I might leave them to I don’t even know if that one was from me ours another one yes so they don’t have to degenerate themselves so I’ve got two Apples which is sweet it’s so good oh my god that’s good that’s really good I think I’m doing okay now I’ve got full iron already which isn’t bad but it’s all about finding dem diamonds and you can’t strip mine so there’s no quick way of finding them either I think I’m good I think I’m good one more Apple and I’ll go straight back down and I’ve got enough words I’ve got enough probably saplings right now to fill myself up on and then I’ll head down and I should all be good but that zombie has made me think twice about What I’m looking like being more careful because I forgot they could kind of like spawn into trees and stuff which isn’t helpful at all I mean come on come on one more Apple please one more Apple this is really boring it’s like breaking bushes dawn of time and I can’t even I Can’t edit out it’s a full kind of unique experience of watching me hopefully not die straightaway are there’s an apple yes right let’s get out of here we have got three apples which is beautiful I don’t think I’ll need any more than that for now because I’m going to need like eight Ingots is it for a Golden Apple so yeah I’m not great I’m gonna leave this I’ve learnt my lesson oh no I’ve learned my lesson I’m gonna light all of this up there’s a zombie behind there as we know I know there’s another zombie there where did he come from Um I don’t really want to hit him because it could be bad it could be very bad um oh God right what I could do is I’m actually really wary of zombies but let’s see if we can do this let me just block that up so that none Come through there and hit this bad boy come on all right hopefully doesn’t call any of his friends because I’ll be mad you don’t wanna get too close either because one hit and you are done so let’s be very careful because even attacking zombies you will be very Careful because of the new 1.6 rules they’ve made zombies so ridiculous so crazy that they just destroy everything so it looks like something is not lit up enough so let’s go across here and light that up that should be fine now that should absolutely be fine that’s the Only reason I can think of that one spawned alright go through the I’m gonna I’m gonna be very course not cautious I’m gonna be very vigorous with my torch placing I am I am right uh yet more torches please more torches through here please undergoing to torch up everything There we go torches everywhere it I should have enough coal now as well which is awesome so let’s continue this little quest down here and see if we can find any more stuff um yeah we just need to kind of go down here well we could What is a really cool thing to find in UHC is a mineshaft but you know there’s a lot of stuff in mind chefs including zombies baby zombies and zombies aren’t too bad to deal with if they are caught in a mineshaft because you can kind of Put the fence in the way if you’re not mean you can put a block in the way and just hit their feet like we’re going to do with that skeleton but there are also baby zombies which can get do what get through one by one blocks and there is Also um what else is there there are cave spiders which poison you and will kill you without a doubt they will just destroy you which is not pleasant when you’re playing UHC oh crap speaking of that I think I’ve just found one oh Jesus I’ll sweet Jesus um mobs are a bit Laggy that’s not good for us because we’ve just oh no what what do I do here I know it’s right I found our as long as it’s not a a spider nest we’re all good I just need to kind of have a look in here oh it’s extensive It’s huge it’s actually huge I to ravine that’s why right we found a ravine now I’m scared now because this is going to be very difficult to kind of work out so what I’m going to do is is a skeleton down there so what we’re going to do is just Pop ourselves a nice little thing here oh wow it’s huge it’s actually massive so let’s block up what we can there could be stuff above us as well which is worrying let’s just grab this grab this and hopefully nothing has spotted us from across the way it doesn’t know like There’s much across here so we’re just going to kind of block it like that and there’s something that can kind of get up there I guess but let’s see what’s going on we’ve got some more iron we need to find like diamonds and stuff or we need string we need a bow We need a bow and we also need gravel which I saw some of this is tenths now I’ve actually found something decent for once this is where the caretaking has to begin otherwise I will just completely flop and die basically I will just flop and die Oh God This is getting serious burrows getting serious right now let me put one there they’ve got enough torches right 40 minutes of pass which means we’re going to end the episode here a very exciting location which is in this mineshaft extensive ravine mineshaft thingy Welcome to UHC Season 3!
Minecraft: Ultra Hardcore is a gamemode originally created by Guude and the group Mindcrack.
In UHC mode, health does not regenerate, you must use a golden apple, golden head, or instant health potion. In addition, ghasts drop gold ingots, rather than ghast tears, so players cannot brew regeneration potion.
In this season of UHC, we are returning to solo, with perpetual day. Last player standing wins! The season was recorded in a single-session.
We’re using a custom plugin for UHC that automatically disables PvP for the first 20 minutes, manages team colors and displays episode timers.
