Hey guys i’m phoenix here um doing a minecraft tutorial on buildcraft industrial craft forestry mod and railcraft and the integration between the four um quick rundown buildcraft adds pipes and engines and oils and things like that forestry mod adds loads of little automation things for grain and trees and things like that Industry uh industrial craft adds electricity nuclear power stations as and subsequently if everything goes completely and utterly wrong mild craters and railcraft adds loads of tracks and item loaders and things like that they’re all designed to work together so you can build massive contraptions to automate everything you like Now i’ve always seen the automation side of things as a seesaw at the start you’re putting a lot of work in and not really getting much out but as soon as that seesaw tips um you’re creating quite a lot with a very very small amount of effort and that’s kind of what you’re Looking for so i’m gonna show you how to pump oil now this was a massive oil fountain um until i tried to do the tutorial in a few minutes ago and it all messed up so down there you can see oil it was massive fountain Now the things you are going to need for this are i’m working in creative mode because it’s just easier for when everything goes wrong which it will and has done about 10 times now so uh hopefully this is my final take and everything will be cool except i can’t actually find the bloody Pump there it is right you will need a pump um some coal steam engine and wooden waterproof pipe cobblestone waterproof pipe these are the things you’ll need now there might be some things in a second right so sit your pump there and this tube will extend Down as you can see uh when you put a pump above water either water lava or oil that pump will automatically descend if you put it safe there the pump the pipe thing won’t descend uh put your engine on just click right click on it and we’ll do it Stick a redstone input you can also use levers or an actual sort of trail but i’ll do the trail in another tutorial give it cold and it will pump now you need somewhere to store it so as as i’m putting this part this pipe down you can see it fill with This black stuff which is the oil so i’m just building um waterproof cobbled stone pipe so it’s a little bit difficult to do from up here and it will go all the way into there so that oil will now fill those tanks there but what if you want to move Um liquid from one tank to another well grab yourself a water waterproof wooden pipe and put it down in the one that you want to take the fluids out of and then a standard pipe into the one that you want to where you want to put your oil you need to power The wooden pipe put that itself down a redstone torch for the redstone input fill it from the coal and it will now pump oil from one to another um a few things to note this blue bit here will change color as the engine warms up if it goes to red Or starts flashing red turn it off because it’s about to explode and take anything nearby with it so kind of you have to keep an eye on them some engines don’t explode um some engines you can kind of stave off by filling full water like the combustion engine Which is a buildcraft engine and that’s the end of this tutorial if there’s any questions you want to ask shove it down in the comments as i said before putting the all the stuff you need for downloads read read maze in the downloads areas for any additional things you need to add like Mod loader um and forge and any problems yeah stick it down in comments or whisper me on steam if you’ve got my steam oh and if there’s anything that people want to see me make um then yeah shove it down in comments and i’ll see what i can do So i hope you’ve enjoyed the tutorial hope this is useful for you guys and um see you in a bit Video Information
