Buddy so nuts guy here hope you’re having an awesome day so far and welcome back for more ours Nouveau this is part two of our spells series we decided to break it up into Basics tier one spells tier two spells and two three spells because they’re gonna be required to Different stages of the game and because I don’t want the guys to be too long and also just to be able to make sure that you have the information that you’re looking for when you come to this video so this video is going to be tier one Spells from ours Nouveau we’re gonna go through the various different spells how they can be used and then how you can create them in your spell book and combine them in certain ways to get the most value out of each one all right let’s go if you’ve missed the basics and you Don’t know how to get started with all this and you don’t know what any of this is and how to unlock glyphs and how to get Essences or how to get Source gems and all that good stuff you should check out my guide in the description below Which covers all the basic mechanics and how to do all that stuff and things but assuming that you know all that how that stuff works and you’re just looking to learn to create specific spells that are valuable and useful to you that’s what we’re going to cover now So these are all the tier one glyphs that you have available to you in terms of forms you have projectile self touch and underfoot honestly I didn’t really use Touch or underfoot at all but touch is basically just you when you use the spell it just does as if you’re like Touching the object with your hand I always use projectile even for things that were right in front of me to be honest underfoot I never really used either personally to be honest um but if you guys have good applications for these please feel free to let me know again I’m not an absolute Expert I haven’t tested absolutely everything I’m just showing you the ones that I have used and the general stuff that I use and and and how to create some interesting useful stuff but by no means am I an expert and by no means have I tried and tested everything You guys might have some really cool combinations and I will be creating a pinned comment with any information that you guys provide that I think is really useful so you might want to check the pin comment to check if there’s any additional useful information there as Well feel free to let me know in the comments if you have useful stuff to share amplify is the main augment that we’re going to be using and then these are all the actual spells themselves I didn’t use most of these to be honest but we’ll run through some even some of The ones that I didn’t use that may be useful to you at some point might as well go starting with the left and go left to right and then down aquatic what you do with aquatic this just gives you water breathing so all you do is you’d build this one with self And then Aquatic and then you might want to extend the duration but we don’t have extend duration until tier two so never mind tier one let’s focus on that so how you do that as an example is self aquatic creates and this is the creative spell book so this is everything unlocked but I’m going to make sure I focus on only the tier one stuff and then you right click that and it would give you the water breathing buff for 30 seconds now balance is a really useful spell but you’d most likely use this in conjunction with other things such as Launch a leap here or launch I suppose leap does require three wielding Wing to unlock so if you haven’t gotten those three wielding Wing yet this is a spell that you can use for Mobility assuming you have the rabbit hide already so let’s talk about launch bounce leap And how they can be used so if you haven’t managed to get leap yet which is definitely more useful you can use launch launch you can amplify that launch as much as you can although it’s going to be very expensive Mana wise if you amplify it too much so if You amplify it a little bit and then you want to add bounce afterwards the reason you want to add bounce is because the bounce will stop you from taking fall damage and instead you will bounce now this is a spell you’ll probably want to use in conjunction of the paraglider Because just jumping upwards isn’t that useful unless of course you’re trying to get to somewhere high up so you could just leap yourself up to a high high place but you can also use then the paraglider to Glide like across the Ravine or something of that nature you Can then switch back and then switch again but note if you’re using the paraglider you will have stamina that reduces once that stamina Runs Out you will fall which is why you want to have the bounce just in case you go really high and your stamina runs out you don’t Want to die to fall damage instead you’d rather bounce leap is more useful because that will put you in the direction that you’re facing but leap can only be Amplified once you’ll probably still want to add bounce as well though just in case you get really high so what you’ll then do Is this will lead you forward just a little bit but again if you end up getting really high you don’t want to take fall damage so having that bounce on there is like a safety net another way of traveling quicker that you might be able to use is actually the Knockback spell so if you use self knockback and amplify you can create a spell that looks like this so self knock back amplify it a bunch you might not need bounce because you’re not going upwards create that spell and that will just knock it’ll be like adding Knockback but it’s just kind of eats you forward doesn’t lead directionally so it won’t go upwards but you can kind of just eat quickly around like this I don’t know if that’s going to be more Mana effective or faster than leaping and bouncing but that is an option as well Conjure Maids light is a very useful spell I use this quite a lot and it can be used in two different ways as a projectile and on self so starting with the projectile form you projectile Contra Mage Light creates and that will just create a Mage Light That will create a Mage Light wherever you throw it and if you’re going into a cave you can kind of spam this and light up the cave quite easily you can remove these just by left clicking on them and that will break them you these will have a sort of small Range that they light up you can amplify this which will increase the area in which they light up so it’ll light up a higher area these will be permanent unless you left click them to destroy them but you can also use self with this to give yourself night vision Which is pretty useful as well craft is a fairly handy little spell it just means you don’t need to carry around a crafting grid with you what you do with this one is you’d cast it on self craft and then just right click and it brings up a crafting grid so you can Go crafting you don’t need to carry a crafting station with you anymore cut here simulates using shears and can be useful if you just want to Shear things from range things you might want to share or maybe sheep or bee hives as an example and then you’d use this in Conjunction with item pickup to automatically pick up any of the items that you shear we’ll give you an example so you craft this as a projectile with cuts and pickup you’d have your sheep as an example and then you cast a spell it would Shear it and then it automatically Pick up the item it also picked up this gel that was on the floor because the pickup spell will pick up items in an area around the projectile so there you go there’s a side note you can just create a spell with just just projectile Pickup if they’re if you want to pick up items from a distance away for whatever reason cut will also damage non-shareable entities for a small amount but to be honest it’s not that useful now delay is quite a useful spell delay essentially creates a delay in the Spell that you’re creating now as an example you can do a self launch amplify delay leap bounce right I’ll show you what I mean by that so what we have here is launch amplify delay leap bounce so this will eat me in the air delay and then eat me forward Just a little bit now it didn’t heat very far forward because I didn’t amplify that but what I’d then maybe do is amplify the leap then add the bounce right so then we’d be heated delayed sent forward otherwise it would kind of just like eat us a little bit diagonally Which might be a little bit weird as an example if we removed the delay this is what it would look like in fact it doesn’t like doing those two Spells at the same time so it just kind of is a bit weird now as a side note and just a Further explanation on how delay works this is the harm spell harm spells doesn’t do very much damage it’s not that useful but it can be something that you use early on the harm spell if you were just to make a spell which is just like a bunch of Harms like harm harm that won’t do anything because mobs have that Split Second of invincibility per hit so if you wanted to do a multiple harm spell you could either I mean you can amplify it to increase the damage but obviously you can only amplify that Up to twice so you could then add delay and then you could then add your harm and then further amplify that so that would work it would harm twice Amplified then delay then harm again and that would essentially look like this oh I put that on self so I did that to myself So you wouldn’t want to do that on self you’d want to do that as a projectile so you then you’d hit them with that it would hit them I had a very small delay I don’t even know if they hit twice so I’ve now added a second delay let’s see If that is visually more making sense yeah there you go so you have to looks like you’d have to delay it even twice honestly it’s not that effective if spelling there’s better ways to do damage while we’re talking about damaging spells I might as well tell you The spell that I use primarily for damage through a lot of my earlier play through which was yita’s deletus that’s what I named it anyway and the reason we named it to that is because it was a projectile launch and then I Amplified it as much as I could now obviously Amplify increases the effect but also the Mana so you might need to amp change how much this is Amplified depending on how much Mana you have etc etc however the more it’s Amplified the more damage it’ll overall do and essentially what this does is it will Take your mob and eat it really really high and then send it coming down and it will take scented coming down doesn’t make sense set it down and it’ll take fall damage and die now you notice there was no drops from that now the way to Increase the or the way to make sure that you get drops from this will be by adding a harm at the beginning so you’d want to make sure that you do damage to it essentially before it gets launched and dies to fall damage so you need to Add harm then launch then amplify and this should now give us drops as well so we cast it and it it can’t actually do this on you can do the launch on blocks which I don’t know how that could potentially be useful but it does happen So I’d want to hit them all with it you see it did damage with the harm spell and then it lands and you will get experience and item drops as well if there were any item drops that was kind of more just an example on how delay Works the spell is very simple you cast this on self you do self dispel and that will act like your game milk bucket it’ll dispel any effects on you evaporate will remove liquids in area now freeze will freeze water or lava in a small area now what this is one of the Few things that you might want to use underfoot so you go underfoot and then freeze and that would essentially mean that uh it will freeze things under your feet surprise surprise Harvest you can use as a projectile so it would be projectile Harvest item pickup and you can Harvest things from range ignite Lights things on fire not again but not particularly useful it doesn’t do very much damage interact no interact it doesn’t seem to work properly it’s supposed to like interact with blocks or entities as if it were a player like chests or levers but I have tried doing It with projectile and I it feels like you still need to be within range of the block for it to actually work so I honestly I haven’t found that many uses for interact except for it did work once when I was trying to do um Arcane at Arcane ancient debris farming In the nether with beds is I placed a bed down and then I used a projectile interact and would then shoot that spell out of bed so I didn’t have to be close to it you know and being within the explosion range I could trigger the bed explosion From further away with the interact spell that’s the only real use I’ve found for interact that worked like I felt like properly item pickup we mentioned a couple of times you can do projectile item pickup or you could even do underfoot item pickup not that you would need that of course because you Already pick up items that are under your feet but you can do projectile item pickup and pick up items for range you can come combine that with like sheer as an example of course knockback you could do a projectile knockback and it would just send mobs flying push back a little Bit or you can do it on yourself like I mentioned earlier launch we talked about Leaf we talked about Place block now this is a useful one because Mage block doesn’t uh doesn’t exist so I wanna I wanna test here quickly to see if this Can be used the way that it should be cool so you do this as projectile Place block and this will essentially just place blocks that are in your inventory it’ll take it from your hot bar first so as an example yes if a player’s spell place blocks from the hot bar first so I’ve got these vexing archwood logs in my inventory on the hot bar and if I cast this projectile it will place those logs now this is quite useful because I used to use the Mage block spell to like if I wanted to you know if mobs were Coming through a 1×2 gap and I wanted to block them off I could use this spell to do that or if there was like lava coming out of a one block app I could cast the Mage block to block that off Mage block has um been disabled cannot use Mage block Anymore so instead placing blocks out of your hot bar with this projectile spell could be useful next up we have pull now pull life that also found a couple of uses for in fact pretty much just one specific use for it it’s useful for pulling mobs and moving mobs around Um at will so what you might want to do is you’d go projectile pull and then you might amplify it if you want to pull them even further and the main use that I’ve had for that is along with cage traps now cage traps you place on the Floor and any mobs that will walk in them are put in the box and you can open that up later I might even do a separate guide on that because it’s quite useful so I might then want to pull this guy into here and then I can pick this up And then whenever I want I could right click and open that up and put take him out of that again Redstone signal creates a brief Redstone signal you can hold shift to learn more information about that I’ve never used this myself but you can do projectile Redstone signal and Trigger redstone things for Range now I actually haven’t used runes but there’s an arson of a mechanic where you can like create traps on the floor so you can like create a rune on the floor and then if a mob walks over it’ll cast a spell and then you can use this Rune spell to do that instead of like Rune chalk but I haven’t used runes at all myself so for me that I didn’t use this didn’t need to use it snare is quite an interesting one stops entities from moving and jumping extending time will increase the duration of this Effect you don’t have extend time in tier one so I’d say relevant for now but essentially if someone thinks chasing you and you want to stop it you can use snare to do so so if you’re being chased by a husk and you’re scared because or maybe it’s something stronger than a Husk you can cast snare on it and it’ll be stuck there for a period of time and then you can even just kind of go up to it and hit it while it’s snared so you could snare it and then it’s out of melee range and you can kill it easily Summon Steed has been disabled unfortunately but there is the callable horse summon a little horse mod so you can just tame a horse and then summon that horse anyway summon wolves it someone’s wolves that can fight with you I never really used it personally you can use that as sell for Projectile and it’ll just summon wolves and then toss I’ve also never used personally but you can place an item from the inventory to a location or apparently put them in chests I’m not 100 sure on how this works and I’ve never used it to be honest it’s a very Niche use case I would imagine and that essentially is all the tier one spells and augments guys if you learned something new today give the video
