DDSS Ep16 Tool Forge and Magic Hammer

Hello everyone this is Darrell xx and welcome to episode 16 of Darwell twenties dungeons dragons and space shuttles let’s play series don’t adjust your monitors it’s a blood moon a new blood moon was in the pack and this is the first time I’ve encountered one so I

Wanted to make sure to start recording pretty scary out there it’s a little terrifying if I’m being honest yep they noticed me out there there’s been explosions going on all night some terrible things that sound monsters oh boy baby skeletons I don’t want within

The house so a little of the game so I could like you know process a bunch of my cold coke right making cold coke making steel in preparation for making that that tinkers tool Forge right and it just happened to come across a Blood Moon so that’s a good time I’m making

Some hardened glass at the moment hardened glass is a combination of polarize obsidian or and or dynamite dust vanadium dust or obsidian dust these two are alloys that I can’t make at the moment and vanadium dust is just pulverized vanadium or which I’ve been finding on the ground so that’s cool the

Reason I’m making this is I want another tank I think 13 is the number of copper plates that I masked out that I need and I hope I’m right about that I might have a few coppers doesn’t matter we leave it in there ah so yeah I’m anxiously

Awaiting the Sun rising oh it’s like middle the night time isn’t it holy cow at least the moon’s going down so it’s heading I’m just kind of peeking out the window there oh yeah lots of bad guys they notice you as soon as you try to

Peek out – they’re just like yep we’re here dire oh boy that’s some kind of invisible thing I really like kind of like them look how many dudes are out there Oh baby’s golden I really like kind of the visual effect of the Blood Moon like it’s just super not dark

Anywhere you can’t sleep ah creepy creepy creepy situation going on right so this Prius O’Doyle copper tank can hold 32 buckets you get half a bucket perk also right so basically one copper tank can hold one stack worth of coal creosote hear all the explosions yeah

Told you there’s a lot of those there’s a lot of that going on out there so I’m working on basically making another copper tank so I can hold even more creosote and obviously we’ll be using the creosote to craft up things like water mills and windmills and all that

Stuff I would probably be a cool thing to do because that’s free power right free power probably Trump’s oil generators and coal generators which by the way I toss a few you know crystallized crystals that’s a really good power for our current ear so I absolutely plan to be taking advantage

Of that today right making that stuff so his first steel quest done I’m hoping it is quest complete as I complete that last time I think that wasn’t this quest line first steel you want 36 ingots of steel for the first steel okay that’s fair enough

I’ll get back that one um you also want to make it to make an alloy kiln though I don’t know if I need I might need to I’m not sure it’s a multi-block that basically does a lot of what the induction smelter does right so I don’t

Know if there’s recipes that the alloy kiln can do that the induction smelter can’t so we’re gonna want to you know mess with that a little bit we’ll see that’s that’s what it comes down to we’ll see we’ll see if we need it I’m gonna hold off on making it for now and

Then I you wanted to Galena and vanadium huh I guess there’s you 112 Galena dos I should be able to pull that off pretty easily I would think sure we’ve got Galena or in here yeah there’s something about 16 and will pulverize it and I’m

Else higher tier tanks look cool but they do also require an elite crafting table so tin holds 64 iron 256 bronze 512 actually some pretty big sized tanks right um oh look at that in the future maybe skeleton he looked at me it was not a good time hilarious loving it okay so

Cool I think I might be finding the quest that I was looking for the other day which was how do I get opium and that would be cool if I do find it now I could at least harvest it right because I I got the night metal stuff an episode

Dust in a kiln or induction smelter or alloy smelter to get some opium ah ha really did I miss that recipe when I was looking for how to make it ah look at that so there is an alloying recipe for ovm okay that explains it I was under the impression opium strictly came

Boring stuff between episodes like you know I had a handful of these if you look back like I mean he’s waiting 64 I’m um I can all that’s a lot of redstone a handful of things that I was just kind of you know crafting just to knock out quests with

Right so heavy engineering block where’s the steel scaffolding let’s see which one uses more steel that’s a recipe look at that nine steel plates plus four mechanical components each of which needs eight steel plates so that’s 32 steel plus nine steel plus Osram and electrum and manna steel years Wow steel scaffolding

Way less steel right quickly looked right to Avenue that’s a big difference have any engineering blocks it is it is okay cool so nice I don’t know how then to unlock maybe we actually have to make our alloy kiln to unlock the next chapter I’m curious

We’re gonna need some of that gonna need to do some mining again but the goal is that by the end of this episode maybe I’ll have the tool Forge and that would be nice right and if I could really get myself a tool forward by the end of the episode

That would be actually super nice actually my throat charcoal in here I’m gonna burn up this charcoal that I’ve got sitting in my inventory I made that charcoal for the express intent of doing the thing and I never got around to doing the thing okay so that leads to

What we need to get a tool Forge all right get the following blocks so we can continue with the creation of the tool Ward’s in the next chapter upon completion of this question wall mock the chapter ores alloys and smelters tear – nice so four blocks of

Steel and a nouvion block I feel like that’s attainable I feel like that’s a hundred percent attainable is that not how we make blocks of steel because of course it’s not blocks of steel factorise or combiner huh not impossible probably for my current tech level but

Maybe not too bad not too bad I could smell it in tinker’s right yeah it’s probably your best bet or I could like hammer them all on the plates and then combine the plates but that just seems tedious tinker’s is probably your best bet so here’s what I’m gonna do so it’s four

Our way towards it so that’s awesome so a tool Forge is a 100% what’s next for us right so let’s put away all this stuff I do something to do that kinetic dynamo right I think I got rid of most of these things so yeah that’s fine

Alright so a tool Forge awesome awesome awesome awesome so we want the the bricks I felt like I had some of those laying around from tankers the tinkers brick things maybe I don’t tell her you know what if I did I might have put them outside with our smeltery I might have

Done that yes I totally did nice I knew I had more of that stuff sweet alright and we needed three plates it look like that looks cool right yeah three plates one two three four eight seared bricks and we’re pretty good to go right nice that is awesome

I’m very excited to make a tinker’s smeltery can you tell because that access excavators and hammers and better weapons like all kinds of good stuff comes out of having a tinker smeltery and and in previous series like that hasn’t been that big a deal but in this

Series I suspect it will be it’s gonna be really nice to have access to this thing so a blacksmith’s workshop is where this needs to be made we just need the big pliers which we’re gonna need a new set of those really soon I hopefully have enough methane for this

I don’t undestand houmous get to work I make a mechanical user at this point doesn’t mechanically user even exist there’s the automated user it’s not terrible looking ah there it is mechanical user ah not not terrible Looks reasonably doable yeah I could probably do that if I wanted to we’ll see I haven’t had that much of a need to do that so let’s just come back in a few minutes once we’ve processed all this this methane and we’ll be right back to

Actually very much what’s up that’s awesome I’ve been working towards this tool Forge for a few episodes now and yeah that is cool so the tool for job viously access to a whole new range of capabilities and tinker’s which is awesome dude there booyah including laser guns I’m just saying I’m just

Saying Oh a katana combos on the target complements the shuriken shuriken nice that’s kind of cool I don’t remember them being a katana is that added by another mod sweet plastic okay that’s super cool so lots of weapon options right lots of bow options arrows right which which is cool very nice

Right the crossbow the shuriken which is a pretty good ranged weapon from what I remember high quantities but low damage can be thrown from the offhand yeah all kinds of good stuff but specifically the hammer the hammer is what I’m all about right so I think we’re gonna pop inside

And get a bunch of cobalt cuz I want like actually I’m not entirely sure what I want from the hammer um I know we want some higher maybe two though I have a decent amount of cobalt from all my adventures in the nether and I also made

Some manual n’ so I can make a sword blade cuz unless something’s different in this pack them before manual ins one of the better sword blade materials so we’ll find out but it’s gotta be better than n bar right I would think there’s probably I’m not saying it’s the best in

This pack it may not be the best but it’s one of the better ones right so that’s cool let’s go ahead and upgrade our sword as we speak alright cool cool oh yeah definitely definitely an increase in attack suite and that gives you during combat you deal me a lot more damage but

Also consume more and more durability that’s fine I’m okay with that okay so make it more blank patterns because obviously we have things to make right like plates and all that good stuff so I wanted to have more blank patterns you’re ready to go so what we’re gonna

Want is at the very least we want a plate cast and we want a hammer cast there he is cool so let’s put those in there and then the plate and the hammer cast cuz I’m pretty sure the quest wants me to make those right yeah oh wow you

Want me to make all the things that’s a lot that’s a lot of things you want me to make isn’t it wow that’s a lot of things so we’re probably gonna need them anyway right because we want the tough tool rod for sure right and we’re also

Gonna need the tough binding all right what else did you want hammer broad axe an excavator so that means I’m gonna need at least one more so let’s get like a handful more cast components can i sawmill you know not really pulverize are you though pulverize are you nope

Yet all right let’s make a hammer so we should have a bunch of cobalt in there I’m going to throw eight iron in as well because I want to play with the numbers a little bit so I think I definitely want the the hammer head to be cobalt

Right so that’s what we’re gonna do the the handle itself the tough tool rod can be wood for now and I’m gonna say this guy can also be wood for now and we can always change it out remember I just want to play with the numbers and see how they look

Because generally like that’s right I don’t need that in this one that’s fine so you should be cooling off cobalt nice oh we made pig iron by mistake that’s okay I think mobs got in there and we got some blood so that’s okay not a big deal

We’ll figure out some use of pig iron wow that takes a long time to cool doesn’t it alright so then the plate I’m gonna do one plate that’s hmm how do we want to do this I’m gonna I’m gonna I’m potentially gonna do one plate that’s

Iron and see if I can use iron to repair it cuz I’d like to if I can have a hammer that’s mostly cobalt that still lets me repair with iron and and as a reminder I can always restore back into here right and that would be cool so

Back in a minute once this is all done doing its thing alright it’s hammer and time boom boom and boom so just to be clear if we made this hammer we’d have a durability of 700 and a mining speed of 2.25 right this guy is gonna be higher

Durability in higher mining speed right now does this guy say what the repair material is I thought it did somewhere on here I think this means I can repair I’m not mistaken and I might want an our dike tool right on there too to be fair

Because that would give me like way more durability from my understanding right isn’t that what our date our night specialty is durability but I think if I do it like this with one cobalt and one iron let’s see tool materials are tight where you at it’s an orangey color there

You are right so the handle modifier there and that you’re to love stone it literally wants to absorb it for durability yeah our date might be a cool handle that might be a real cool handle they have material costs three I can sneak that in there I’ve got a little

More hard night hanging around I focus on getting COBOL obviously cuz you know that’s the better of the material but I did grab a little bit all right let’s go ahead and melt that dude down okay well that’s cooking um does this seem reasonable or do I want to go straight

Up it’s gonna be a little bit more durability we don’t really need the magnetic tree I was really hoping that I could and and what does this do that makes a big difference both on mining level which we definitely want cobalt mining level on this thing right so this

Is definitely faster and more durability and I don’t know if I’ll be able to repair it with iron what we can do though is test that right so I’m using a little bit of stuff here right but if I do this and damage him the question is

Can I use iron to repair this I can I can see that’s cool see if I if I made if I use the cobalt plate right like that right we’d have more durability more mining speed but we’d have to use cobalt or a pair the hammer I think I

Want to stick with this right doesn’t that sound like a good time I think that’s true I think that’s what we want to do alright so you get me a nicer handle and that’s gonna be a pretty awesome hammer I think and also don’t absorb stone to repair it and I hope i

Absorb stone it also means anything or Dictionary with cobblestone that would be my hope that actually significantly impacts the durability in a negative way but Petra more high your stone loves your to love stone it literally wants to absorb it for durability yeah although here’s a thing mana steel rechargeable with

Flowers if I used a Man of Steel handle it has a nice durability modifier and it lets you repair the tool with mana that’s kinda cool that is kind of cool you will heal over time that’s mean just kind of looking at all the different options you know not for

Nothing I think I’m gonna try Man of Steel I don’t know that I’ve ever put Man of Steel on a hammer before or I don’t any tinkers material for that matter so I’m remelt Imai my are day I’ll get Hank it’s worth and we’ll try made of steel on the thing that sounds

Kind of cool hey it has a really nice durability bonus right so just straight off the bat right and also you get manna can can repair it that’s that’s pretty cool alright so I want to try that out so in order to pull that off right first

Off let’s remelt this stuff and let’s go let’s go make a man a tablet real quick all right so one of the things I need to get going here you’ve done one block cool is Lu Miam so to make a man a tablet we need living Rock which we’ve

Got we need glass lenses which I’ll make we need to man a pearl it a man’s diamond which I can make a stone tank which I’ve got in glass right and aluminum so Lou Miam compactor Lumia mega right you can make Lumi Amanda tinker’s dude right so Lou Miam ingots

Come from Lou Miam molten so one energized glowstone or one glowstone dust one ten one silver equals one loom iam right so we can totally get Lou Miam straight up like this so we’ll throw that in a compactor and then we’ll be cool right sweet okay you should be pouring out more iron

Thanks chief I’m just emptying the smeltery from all the operations I just did cool beans so you over here do we have any electro team ah not handy it would seem dandy but we can get some right because I need aquamarines which is too luminescence a

Lapis and electro team now I need two lenses so I need eight so I need two sets of this right so two lapis for luminescence we have lots of lapis now I should throw that on tools I should get this guy up to luck three and I should get this guy for luck

Three but we’ll take care of that probably between episodes here because I’m kind of in a rush well we’re getting close to the wrapping up point I want to do this all before we wrap up where is my luminescence there it is for and then for electro team

Which I may not have but we’ll get some courtesy of this and some copper cool I forget how much the ratio is so I’m just gonna like pulverize up some copper and combine it with redstone to make luminescence right that’s your best bet for electro team right now at least

There might be a better one so it’s three to four equals 10 electro teen in an induction smelter that’s not too bad right so that in the induction smelter with redstone and then we’ll be good cool and then we have to run up and make this with a living rock and for glass

Panes which shouldn’t be too bad to pull off so you do your thing that’s enough of that for now this needs molten blue Miam oh really a molten Lumia to operate huh okay we can make that happen somehow so to make that happen what we’re gonna want

Is more glowstone so to get its 144 s1 any like 10 of what it’s gonna be some rough math let me get some real rough math there’s in order to make this craft work we need a thousand Millikan’s of molten Lumia right and you get 144 so

The math don’t add up too well right so let’s get like a tu a tu and a tu and then we’ll see if that’s good enough so it’s gonna be eight ingots and an ingot is 144 so it should be pretty close to a bucket the problem is well that’s pretty

Close to a bucket it’s not great and we need two buckets so back in a minute once I’ve gotten enough all right so that should be getting me a buckets worth of molten aluminum cool and then once the rest of this clothes don’t melt will have another buckets

Worth not terrible not great but not terrible all right bucket number two coming our way nice and that’s gonna leave How many mill about gets a molten Lumia and behind just trying to figure out the math on this 304 that doesn’t sound ideal though sound like a very good number I’ll just leave it in there for next time we need molten Lumia deal so you go in here
