Oh hi everyone duelin here and welcome back to Minecraft today we’re gonna be talking about these cursed little things floating in the air behind me so if you know anything about how my craft mechanic should work you’d notice that these things shouldn’t work but they do And today I’m gonna show you how to make them first things first you got to understand why these things shouldn’t work so lanterns have to hang from a solid block and things like gravel and sand aren’t solid so if you try and hang a lantern from from gravity block it’s Just not gonna work and so you need to do a little bit of finagling to get this to work basically to summarize they get the lantern as the force pushing up and the sand as the force pushing down and it kind of cancels it out creates this beautiful yin-yang balance Oh how philosophical before I can show you how to craft this interesting little figure I want to talk to you guys about a technique that is used in order to do it it’s where you use left click and right click at the same time in order to Basically swap one block out for another I use it very frequently in my creative builds for example if I’m texturing a wall if I left click and right click at the same time you see that it’s pretty easy to quick swap between blocks and you can use this method in survival to Do this trick but it’s important that you know that this is how you do that it’s got tons of different utilizations for it as well it’s very useful building the actual lantern type thing is actually really really simple so all you really need that wouldn’t be immediately Obvious is a piece of string then you can get your Lantern and your gravity block of any type and from there it’s pretty simple so you just take any block you build up to where you want it and I’ll actually go into survival mode so You guys can see that it works in that too you’ll place down the string you’ll put down your gravity block on top of the string and then you just get underneath it so that the strings hitbox is in your crosshairs and then you do that right-click and left click at the Same time and boom right there you switched out the string for the lantern gear blocks and there you have a floating lantern on a gravity block this works with all kinds of gravity block which includes concrete powder sand and gravel and remember 1.16 actually drops tomorrow on Tuesday if you’re watching This the day and uploads so you can experiment with the new Soulfire lantern as well so keep that in mind when you are building these cursed things thank you guys for watching I hope you enjoyed if this was helpful like this video and maybe subscribe to the channel I do Little tutorials like this all the time but until next time this is Dylan and I’ll see you later Video Information
