DEWSTREAM – Ep53 Attempting To Spawn Withers – Minecraft All The Mods 9 Modpack

Hello everyone and welcome back to all the mods 9. in the last episode we did the unthinkable we got our hands on this guy here which is a Wither spawn egg and we did so using evilcraft um specifically uh this machine here the spirit reanimator can take the spirit

That you capture in one of these Eternal closures and put it inside of an egg and give you the spawning we did that with the weather obviously or with a soul to get the sporting now the problem is cannot be used on a spawner now that is something that has been changed

Like uh within the config or something I’m not sure how they’ve done it but they’ve done it okay and I’m not willing to call defeat just yet now look realistically there probably is no way to do this but it wouldn’t be fair to leave it there so

What I’m gonna do is I’m going to grab out one of these spawners um I don’t know which spawner I guess we could just take like zombified pigland spawner what’s this one catacomb zombie spawner Let’s uh uh I don’t know I swear I had more spawners that I was like carrying around in a backpack or something no really just those ones okay um yeah I don’t know we’ll grab the zombie fire Piglet and spawner if it’ll let me for whatever reason I’m not allowed to

Take stuff out of my own inventory hello what what hold on let’s do the test yep things are dropping okay so okay okay so our system’s broken okay this is what a great start for the episode now our stuff has power it exists oh oh okay interesting now this has happened in the

Past um in different mod packs I’ve played and usually the cause was if you happen to combine something from the um and the chess mod so for example the ender chest or something to your system now I believe we do have ender chests over here the thing is

Neither of them are connected to the system they’re all they’re an individual thing hooked up with a pipe as far as I know I don’t think we’ve actually placed one down and um you know put an external storage on it or an importer or something so we’ll

Have a quick look around but I don’t actually know what that’s what that would be from so what does this guy do he’s bringing in oh he’s bringing in the dough maybe no but the dough should be by himself as well that shouldn’t be attached to anything obviously

Um yeah I’ve just got the dough over here no external storage attached to him and then the other end of chest that we had was for um hold on I’m catching up it was for my bag which I just have on me it’s not attached to the system

Um directly this just goes straight to a smelter um and then the only other thing we have is this entertain here which once again I don’t believe is attached to anything if we go into the fluid grid we shouldn’t yeah we don’t have lava attached um

So I’m not sure but because of the cause of that issue is now if there was a way that I could track down where that spawner is that might lead me to the answer maybe this is within a chest that I no longer have access to for some reason I’m not sure

Um we still have these chests over here it’s possible it’s in there I guess I could search spawner um no it’s just a broken Necromancer Spawner in there okay well what a great mystery to start this episode on the mystery of why our system doesn’t work

Brilliant okay let’s um have a look so in here we’ve got storage we’ve got fluid storage okay um items fluids hmm yeah okay maybe we I don’t know maybe we’ll get more storage um let’s get a 64k drive and go ahead and combine that with the housing

Um yeah I’m not too sure what we’re gonna do to solve that issue but I don’t know we can check some extra storage there and hope that that somehow helps us retrieve a spawner yeah it works now we’ll pretend that that’s why okay so yeah we’ve got this spawner

I want to put this egg into this spawner I can’t do it the good old-fashioned way um so so what are we gonna do well once again I do have an idea I’m going to jump in the mining dimension for this I think just because it’s a nice flat area if we

Do get this thing working and we start spawning with us I think we’re going to be grateful that we um did it over here now um okay the time is changing perfect it should be daytime soon um so here’s our spawner there he is he’s flaming and if there’s the right

Amount of Lights stuff with sport if I have right click the Witherspoon egg on this game it does not work it’s not transforming it what I’m thinking we try is a few different things for example a player simulator I’m gonna give this a shot this is my strongest

Contender now the risk involved here is that the spawner doesn’t right click this guy um to apply it but instead um what’s the word I’m looking for spawns the weather right like literally right clicks the egg so there’s a chance that happens in which case I guess I

Just killed a guy it won’t be the end of the world but um yeah that I mean that is a possibility of course um let’s grab some logic cables so player simulator um we’ll want an item interface we’ve got a logic going on us we may want a chest

Let’s go ahead and get like a stack of those crafted so we’re not doing that every so often um do I want anything else for this in one variable card thank you cool beautiful all right let’s set this guy up so play simulator there logic cable chest item interface cool

Um with our logic programmer we’re going to click item place in our Witherspoon egg there and place our variable card so now we’ve got that um on this card essentially we wanted to click the item but we want to configure this so we want it to um right click yep

Um with the right hand sure continuous why not we don’t want it to sneak if it crouches I think it will spawn the wither 100 so we’ll just keep it as it is and then the rest of those that should all be fine okay so we’ll place this there it’s happy

And then we’ll place this here listen it was worth a try um there is obviously the deployer um from create mod the problem is I really feel like that will just spawn the mob like full-on spawn it I’m trying to think of if there’s anything else any

Other cheatsy slimy way to go around uh doing this and actually putting it in a vanilla spawner but I’m not sure there’s obviously like a deployer um sorry as a Spencer I think once again that’ll just spawn the guy um yeah what do we have in terms of player

Obviously there’s the player simulator which we’ve got there’s some Turtles and stuff that you might be able to do it with a turtle Maybe I I wouldn’t know how to do it there’s modular routers they can do some right-clicking stuff okay you know what maybe I’ll quickly

Make a router and we’ll give it a shot look listen listen it has to be done all right at modular we’ve got a spare router here um I’ll actually put that guy away we’ll grab a different modular router um we want this guy to have I think it’s

An activation what’s mimic I think that’s camouflage um pick up sync Stacks regulator Stacks blah blah blah blah what am I I’m after one of these ones up here aren’t I all right so two dispensers um oh uh two uh essentially this guy’s what we want but I don’t have a second bow

But that didn’t really work but you get the idea all right dispenser and activator module perfect so this guy’s going to be placed here um sure um this guy is going to activate on the front it will not sneak it will just right click um and I guess that’s good enough so

There he is let’s go ahead and grab that with the spawn egg and Chuck him in there come on no okay well yeah that’s all fine it’s just on always that should be fine obviously we’re not on the claim chunk so well that was my only other idea outside

Of obviously the deployer I don’t think I’ll try the deploy because I really don’t think that’ll work and I feel like that won’t end well let’s do a white list let’s make sure that you know we’re given this it’s fair share white list the witherspoonic sure

Chuck that guy back in there Chuck that there come on come on you know you want it we tried all right um I’ll do the deployer why not I I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night not knowing that I didn’t test this guy oh but he’s such a painter

You know what we’re not I can sleep I promise I promise we’ll leave that stuff there nice little Relic the thing that was um but that’s not our only attempt okay this episode might just be a fail that I’m just telling you already that that

Might be a sign of things to come but there are other spawners in the game and there are other spawners that make use of spawnings um I went ahead and marked it down in the clipboard um yes James uh James Rodriguez mentioned the Jelly Baby spawner from Mob Grinder utilities

Um now somebody else said they tried this and it didn’t work so I’m kind of just you know trying it myself for the sake of trying it um but I do recall in the past we used this guy to spawn um one of the bosses from

I don’t know it might have even been from like I don’t think it was from Blue Skies maybe it was it might have been from Blue Skies we spawned one of those like crazy nature bosses from a from big thing we trapped him in one of these I think and was just

Spawning a bunch of them um and it was really tricky to get the guy to actually spawn because he was such a big entity I have a feeling maybe if we’re incredibly lucky um whoever said it wasn’t working was having that same issue that would be

Honestly perfect but you know I kind of doubt it all right so what do I need um well we need this guy we can craft all the bottom stuff just some blocks of iron and whatnot and then these two a solid experience these are made out of XP jelly babies

And how do you get those you get them from a solidifier with um XP mold and the fluid XP itself so that the mold comes from this guy here which is a bucket of essence and some gold nuggets then you just craft it again I guess and you get the mold

Um the solidifier is going to be a hopper which we can do and then what are these two things entity conveyors oh quick and easy and that should be the solidifier so if we then go ahead and get access to the experience which currently just all going in here how’s

This guy going are we do we see some stuff you know what we do there actually is a decent amount of stuff in here do we have capturing no we still don’t have capturing that’s that seems crazy to me what about Fortune what are you doing looking there not much um okay

Well I’ll tell you what I’m gonna deactivate this guy for now so I’m gonna go to the essence um at the bottom I’m going to disable that so he’ll no longer receive XP this guy’s well I believe gets XP he’s currently looks like he’s full

And I should also be able to grab a fluid pipe here Chuck this guy down and he’ll fill up with all the rest beautiful um we’ll put in our mold and it should uh if I yes if I turn him on he should start jellying up the XP yeah cool

See ya um we’ll get a bunch of that as stuff happens oh what okay nice I was like where’d it go um so we get some of these we need um a lot of them but that’s fine I mean that’ll happen I could I guess we can speed these guys up

Now now that we’ve got some more resources the one thing oh you know what I think I can just turn them off right both of those will turn off um hold on oh perfect um because the Blazers that the problem with the Blazers is they look at me and then they just like

They just fly in here so we’ll turn on night vision so you guys can see oh that looks horrific um we also have the Dreadful dirt obviously so stuff will still be spawning here um these guys both of them you can see the at the top the minimum spawn delay

And the max spawn delay as well as the spawn count now the spawn count on the weather skeletons is pretty good it’s at 13. um but for the Blazers it’s quite low and then obviously the Spawn toys and stuff are really high so we can help

That out quite a bit one of which is with sugar yeah I really need to figure out what’s stopping like why can’t I withdraw my sugar right now what could possibly be causing that I I’d love to hear what yeah I’d love to hear some suggestions

As to uh what block I’ve recently added that has caused these issues because yeah in the past it was obvious like I’d have just placed a block and then issues would happen but I’m not sure which one I placed you know I mean well I guess must be something back here what’s this

I guess we added a frame drawer recently that’s a little bit of a weird block Maybe I don’t know I’m kind of you know reaching for straws grabbing at straws there’s a there’s a saying somewhere compressor well anyway can I grab the sugar right now really

What is this please I just some sugar please all right I’ll craft my own whatever it’s fine it’s okay I can live all right yeah we’ll uh lower this guy down so he’s at 20 as well um and then the spawn delay that is done with clocks I believe this is where it

Gets a little bit um expensive and obviously not being up is it a chunk loading issue maybe hold on is that a possibility what is not chunk loaded that should be is it I thought that could be a problem maybe we’ve got a storage system attached that is well storing things but

Not within us I’m just going to chunk load the whole base what’s the worst that could happen how’s that going can I now can I get clocks please no okay I’ll make some more that’s fine it’s really not the end of the world um yeah we’ll lower this

Down and it’ll be pretty good we can lower it to literally 2020. um I’m not too sure how fast it is when that happens it should be instant but I I don’t think it is we’ll see though obviously um oh that’s a stack of clocks right

A little bit more all right so it is 20 20. this one as well we’ll get to 2020 and then we’ll turn it on and I guess see how much we’re looking at in terms of experience I might up the spawn count and the max entities on both just

To see how that works but I guess we’ll we’ll test it without just to see what we’re looking at see if it’s Overkill or not so it’s now on there we go both of these by the way are set to ignore light that’s set to um like everything like if I look here

Ignores players ignores the light as long as it has Redstone it should be good I mean there you go spawned a decent amount there I still think we just want the max entities higher and the smaller it looks like Blazers were getting a lot of them we’re not getting a lot of wither

Skeletons I reckon it’s Max entities that I’ve got to worry about so I’ll let those guys uh fall down let’s search um spawner again we’ll go ahead and pump these guys up um and what do we want we would like um the spawn counts of fermented spider

Eyes and Max entities SO gas tears now gas tears we don’t have but you can craft them using these guys the catalyzing glands and yeah we’ve got a bunch of those from obviously the um Dreadful dirt down here just spawning everything so grab a bunch of those see

Look at this I’m crafting that number’s not going down but these numbers are appearing at zero that kind of makes me want to say that like this is the issue I know that we’ve got this guy attached he’s extract only so it shouldn’t be a problem but

I mean here we are I guess this guy shouldn’t be a problem as well is he because he’s hooked up with an external storage the only thing I can think of would be that he is he’s extractor on this that shouldn’t be a problem as well like no

One’s trying to store stuff in here because that that could obviously easily be an issue with the void overflow and why not there shouldn’t be an issue at the moment also in terms of this guy being empty we do have an Importer on him um as someone pointed out

But we’ve only got books we’ve got it white listed and we have the exact mode off so I thought that would just be only enchanted books being extracted but what are the tags here books um Shelf books placeable books I’m just trying to see if there’s something that says tools shouldn’t be

Uh yeah I mean this shouldn’t be extracting everything right like am I am I crazy in thinking that let’s um let’s turn the exact mode back on and see if we start getting more tools I guess like already what’s this Hammer doing oh or this uh helmet I

Guess I added that let’s remove that so the how the helmet should join there now as it did and then this guy should have stuff in it but it still says zero out of 4K what am I missing I am what am I missing let me yeah not a clue um

All right so what was I doing oh yeah Mike Garcia’s let’s let’s at least put this to work oh God what a what a messy episode this already is all right so max entities let’s up that to at least higher than the spawn count let’s actually

What’s the max that you can go for this 32 cool and I’ll bump this one up to 32 as well there we go um so next up are fermented spider eyes now we want to be careful here so ferment um so spider eyes we have a bunch that’s fine mushrooms

We probably want more before we start using all of these so I’ll just make sure that we have a botany pot um running just you know with all the stuff we need um just so that we don’t mess this up and like use all of our mushrooms because

That they can be a pain to find if you if you don’t have any laying around like oh I literally I can’t grab anything out of my system what have I done done clearly what’s this guy what are you you’re an importer that’s fine no problem there hmm

Can I grab stuff out now that I’m standing right in front of it not even it looked like I could for a second but it was an illusion huh the only other thing I can think of is this guy doesn’t have enough power and it’s like pretending storage controller um

I am thinking this guy could be a problem but even we looked in him he shouldn’t be a problem um I’ll tell you what I’m gonna I think I’m gonna empty all that stuff into the system we’re at the point where we can make enough storage to hold all

This there’s no reason to have all our stuff in there let’s go importer um and just try to eliminate some of these odd loose ends that we’ve got um there may or may not be causing us problems really not Sean I’m sorry if I’m not talking this much I’m really trying to

Dig deep into my mind like what if we I know at the very least last episode was happening as well so it’s nothing I’ve done in the last episode usually it is when you add a storage system so or like some sort of storage you know external storage that’s usually

What gives it away in the fluid grid what do we have creosote that’s coming from this guy over here where is he where is that coming from oh no we’ve just got that stored in our um yeah let’s go yeah we’ve just got that stored in our

Uh Drive our disc so that shouldn’t be a problem shouldn’t be hmm literally the existence of this bag in my inventory it seems insane I I think it could be this guy but I don’t want to claim it to him and then have it not be him

All right I can taste stuff out currently okay I can’t take stuff out so the problem’s still a problem let’s go ahead and pick this guy up I don’t know see if that’s something does it um if it was going to it hasn’t yet awesome

All right well yeah I I went through I picked up a bunch of stuff I picked up all the drawers we had attached so like um that for example and we’ve got a bunch of frame ones I picked all those up still had the same issues so I don’t believe it’s them

Um I tried to have a look around to see what else looked like it could be I looked around and see what people were saying I’m gonna have to do a little bit more hunting to try to figure out what I’ve done here I’m still a little bit skeptical

Yeah I I don’t know I don’t know so we’ll I’ll I’ll report back on that in the meantime I’ll have to do things a good old-fashioned way where we walk places and and pick things up I know I know horrible um in the meantime let’s slap this down

Just so that oh you know it’s stone that we need isn’t it thankfully will you grab that so let that grow at least we have some backup mushrooms in the meantime um let’s go ahead and jump back inside here where it’s very dark oh if I can sneak in

Um and let’s make the rest of this stuff so fermented spider I’m gonna craft at least a stack um this is of course up upping the spawn count um and so we want I guess 16 in both is pretty good oh and it looks like that’s the most you can do

Cool so if I turn this on now as you can see a lot more spawning at once and from both of them this is Overkill this is genuinely a lot this is probably not the best for the server probably not the best for my frame rate

With my uh physics mod dropping all the Corpses um but I’ll tell you what it would be good for yeah this stuff that would be pretty good for this stuff um what were you going to want you guessed it one of those drawers I was just telling you about you know what

Let’s also um let’s go in here and search blaze real quick oh let’s just do that and lower that oh wait hold on hold on if I just simply grab some wool oh my God yeah hold on you guys probably already commenting this if I get some

Chorus I can put that in right and they have no AI yeah so all I have to do is ask very nicely to withdraw A Chorus thank you I was allowed to withdraw my own chorus from my own storage system incredible I’m honestly I’m tempted to just switch

Over to applied energistics as if that’s going to be an easy thing to do um hold on yep I mean that part worked hold on there we go that should work after they fall I guess I turned it off but when I turn it back on they should all be no AI none

Of that I might have did all the bit of work but we’ll we’ll see we just need these guys to drop come on almost done it all right perfect so this guy is now no AI in silent this guy’s not um so I guess we never did that before

Someone definitely told us um in the past to do that so thank you for that I’ve finally gone around to doing it all right I just need to beg for a piece of course thank you all right so right click there right click there so now both of those will be

Silent without me muting them at all um and they’ll have no AI so they’ll just drop stuff um this guy ignores players this guy the Wither Skeleton does not I believe in nether star does that correct you know his place yeah so I’ll tell you what we’ve got one I’m gonna Chuck that

In there so now they’ll both spawn regardless of me existing um on top of that um I reckon we can just Redstone control this guy currently we’ve got what a link with two of my stone swords I’ll probably change it to be whatever this is let’s upgrade both of those

Um the other wherever that other Wireless bit is not a clue let’s search a link um Redstone link yeah we’ll just craft this I’ll have to make another one I don’t know who stole my last one and by stall I mean I don’t know where I’d put it but I’m sure it’s

Out there all right boom boom boom I also hate that these guys spawn at you there’s no it it’s horrible like they’re spawning from the Dreadful dirt the Dreadful dirt is spawning big slime and he’s just jumping outside you can’t help himself um all right link so this guy is going

To go instead of this um so bear with me I don’t have the like uh air Affinity or whatever the uh things called and on top of that we’re playing on a server so breaking this thing is a little bit of a pain um I can place him on the side

And that should be fine so he can go there right click uh two of these swords shift right click to make him a little satellite dish for receiving and now this guy should work again I should be able to turn them on wirelessly and look at that they just fall nicely

How cool is that um so that draw we were talking about one of those please why not leave now look you can make the claim that it’s server lag but I can open any chest and grab stuff right like it shouldn’t it shouldn’t be a problem like

The chest opens maybe maybe half second delay maybe right Maybe yeah that shouldn’t be an excuse for not being able to pick up stuff from my system right and I even disconnected um our mining system because we had 17 mil worth of items uh in that uh sophisticated chest so I disconnected

That and same same problem so I I have done my attempts okay it hasn’t just been sit here in cry simulator as much as I’ve wanted to um let’s click that let’s also click push uh to the West um Wes please where’d you go jelly baby in there that’s fine

Jelly Baby I would like to go there oh the animation’s cool why don’t you go in there oh yeah look at that so he goes down there he fills up with liquid cool I do like it all right sweet so that’s gonna fill up with jelly babies awesome

We’ve now got automated jelly babies honestly he’s not fast enough oh he probably could put speed modifiers there right and that’s probably for buckets yeah okay oh also last episode we made a time in a bottle so this guy’s been a accumulating time if you will

So that’s pretty cool that’s a lot I mean this is just I mean it is pretty good what are we looking at in terms of resources 22k okay so we’re already got more of that the weather skeletons and we’re the skeleton skeletons and stuff are going to be crazy

Um in terms of look there’s a stone sword a singular and it’s gone what where is it going I’ve got him set to extract only he’s in external storage I’ve got this guy down here as a white list exact mode on a protection book like an enchanted book

And then this guy’s also pumping into this guy here he’s not hooked up with any um you know external importers or anything and this guy’s going right back into the same thing there so it shouldn’t be a problem and the only other thing it’s receiving

Is from there oh was that a sort of like a Blazer um so yeah the the whereabouts of all my tools remain a mystery I feel like this guy’s to blame you know what I mean is the missing link isn’t he he’s the the problem all along oh this guy

Probably just ate it didn’t he yeah let’s see can I take stuff out I can use sometimes it lets it work but then it breaks after a little while wait a second hey guys in the past it’d be broken by now ah it’s broken see what what is this I’ve used my

Hold on oh wait hold on am I out of no this guy’s fully charged um I’m really trying to really trying to figure out what this what this trick is I don’t even know what this is okay all right all right I’ve got my eyes on all of you

Every last one of yours um I’m gonna break this as well this uh importer because my guess is that guy’s causing an issue as well so we’ll just we’ll just see how it goes now all right sure whatever what am I doing jelly babies um we actually do have almost enough I

Think we need like two more um if we are even gonna try to continue doing this kind of lost my way there solid bouncy where else would my stuff be you know what I mean like what else where else are we situated we’re situated in other dimensions they’re all just chests I believe

Um in the lava place we do have an in the chest but that is not connected to anything from the Overworld um in all the modium we’ve got this guy here which is our sophisticated chest and Tangled and we’ve removed him from the system before so that’s not the problem

Or at least I don’t see how it would be an obtaining same thing yep same chest all that stuff here nothing else looks to be oddly connected or anything vibranium same thing shouldn’t be anything else connected um where else have we ventured that we would have even placed um like a

A wireless network for example there’s nowhere there’s under the sea we went under the sea hmm yeah not sure really yeah I don’t know what you do this episode I walked around my base and put things and said I don’t know what that is I don’t know how to

Fix that what is this I don’t know that’s what I did that was my Stratford today my plan all right regardless hey guess what we’ve got an entity spawner okay now this guy by default spawns mobs in a three by three by one area but mob grainy utilities has extra stuff for

Example an entity spawner with upgrade we can make a bunch of these if we had more eggs that’s actually going to be a problem um and obviously a height and a speed upgrade so I actually wanted to add in some of these but obviously we need eggs

Um and although I have some calcium carbonate we don’t have uh protein hmm protein what can I dissolve for protein fish oh you know what we can actually probably do that right slime balls oh yeah we can do slime balls we’ll search slime balls let’s uh yeah

Oh easy oh but I’m not allowed them come on please please update why not we’ll add uh oh this is easy we’ll just add a crafting recipe for it all right guys everything’s everything is fine Chuck this guy here remove two of those awesome that’s all we want

Head Over Yonder up here this guy has just a normal Crafter one of these rookie numbers let’s pick that guy up let’s um open our system um crafter obviously uh Diamond Crafter please I beg of the Swan Diamond crafter from the system please yes all right the recipes are in

Um which means I should be able to add egg recipe oh wait where does the egg recipe go egg recipe goes in the combiner um egg combiner yeah cool all right perfect your pen no okay it’s worth a look What are you you’re another eye Crafter um egg recipe specifically this one here please thank you all that for an egg why thank you very much is what I say so we should be able to jump over here inside this go Chuck the egg go in here

Shift click egg ask for a stack and it should be able to do it this stuff will obviously start smelting up some slime balls dissolving them I guess um and then as a result we will get some eggs courtesy of this guy um yeah should be fine just make the egg please

Yeah there we go all right that’s gonna be a problem but uh it’s fine at the very least we’ve got eggs okay in fact I shouldn’t have put that stuff away it’s not like it’s not the end of the world if we’re a few eggs short I’ll just have to empty

That guy when I remember um which means hold on let’s go back to spawner nope let’s go back to mob grinding yep here we go um so I’m thinking I want at least one width modifier this will increase by plus one on each side and then possibly even a one of

These height ones yeah and that that’s at least what I’m thinking um in the meantime we can probably go and set this guy up now he’s going to use jelly babies so we could probably benefit from you know entangling this and chucking it into our system um because that sounds like an idea

Let’s also turn off our magnet that’ll be good as well um in tangle one entangled block every day one entangled block gets locked from my inventory donate like And subscribe now to prevent future jelly babies from not being entangled I I can’t tell you what that was I’m sorry I’m sorry

Jelly babies are officially in the system cool all right so now we need to go spawn stuff once again you guessed it we’re going to hop into the mining Dimension because I don’t really want to blow up my base with a bunch of sport a bunch of Withers everywhere

So we’ll jump over here um entity spawner there there he is we can show the area so currently this is the three by three that he’s going to attempt to spawn in a Wither will not spawn there um we can offset him up and as you can

See now he’ll spawn above that kind of looks better but yeah if I add that that’s now a pretty pretty big range um in terms of at mob in terms of verticality we’re probably gonna want at least two of these what I’m thinking um one of them
