Diamond Hunting & Skeleton Hiding in Minecraft Hardcore

He He Oh Oh Hello hello welcome back new people welcome forgot to turn off one of my settings but hello good evening um started a little bit later than I uh originally intended but um lot of exciting stuff going on ended up getting some uh new couch and so we’ve been dealing with that and had some

Appointments so um yeah it’s a good day uh leading up to tomorrow’s stream which is going to be the birthday stream uh where I turn 30 years old and had it a really awesome weekend as well um because my my wife and um and family had well really my wife had

Planned this uh surprise party which I legitimately was surprised had no idea it was happening I was completely oblivious um but my family ended up attending and everything they were in on it so was really cool really fun and we’re going to show some of the um it

Was a whole the office um themed party which was really cool and like I was just grinning ear to ear with it but we did some memes uh from the um or it’s like the captions from like the caption game that they ended up doing in an

Episode so we’re going to read those on stream tomorrow as well um but yeah it was really cool uh really fun and hey what’s up Ray um Ry was there actually um but also we have um some really cool stuff going on with uh our by like best

Friend and and basically brother Trey who tomorrow is also going to be um oh what’s up Jason uh tomorrow uh Trey will also be debuting um as Alexander Hamilton in New York on Broadway and this is not an ad you know I’m I’m um not being paid for them uh or

Anything like that or from tra or anything like that he’s literally my best friend we’ve been doing this uh we’ve been friends for a long time we’ve done uh theater together and high school and everything and he literally about to debut um as Alexander Hamilton on the New York City Broadway

Which is insane so really excited so tomorrow is a really big day for for us uh um but especially for Trey um right now for his career so we’re going to be shouting him out and and so tomorrow’s going to be really fun but we’re going to dive into

Minecraft um taking a slight break from some power our Sim um but cuz we did a lot of that and we did a bunch of the maps and everything so um I really want to put in some some Minecraft and then tomorrow we’re going to be playing Hogwarts Legacy uh which

I’m really excited for because um that was supposed to come out a couple years or it was supposed to come out last year uh as in like 2022 last year and then it ended up getting delayed um so I’m really excited for it to be uh

To play it tomorrow and I even got it on sale uh which was awesome Um it was on sale on uh on Steam actually so that was really cool hopefully everybody’s having a a good Monday um I actually ended up taking that uh today off today and tomorrow off from work um so I’ve been having a long weekend and this upcoming weekend is another long weekend

Um cuz we’re observing MLK day on Monday so it’s pretty nice kind of easing into the into work with some long weekends but we need to do some some diamond hunting that’s our that’s our next thing how’s the how’s it sounding for Everybody see like this music right now that’s playing uh um in Minecraft is like really chill this is the kind of music that I like I don’t like when they do the creepy stuff this is growing we also like we probably should expand our base um I want to go on some Adventures

As well Um there’s a lot there’s a lot to do there’s a lot which is the other reason why I want to do a little bit more Minecraft than um instead of power Sim dang we just got a bunch we’re up to level 14 and honestly um we can’t cook this right no

We can’t can we cook this you know what we might as well cook this because we still get levels for it so that’s fine um let’s put all this away should just cook that too that’s probably the only benefit right now for uh for the copper cuz like we’re not the

We’re not at the point that we’re going to be decorating a base yet and frankly we might not even get There it’s um I don’t want to get too committed to a base and then just end up being upset when we end up dying in a really really dumb way and then we lose all of It Ray are you doing the the Bowling we have uh oh yeah we do get the levels we have a bunch of friends at from church they’re bowling right Now um might as well oh yeah we need a actually a block of cobblestone uh let’s just make another one need that got an iron sword oh yeah I’mma make a shovel I really don’t use these that often but I’m make one just because it seems like we’ve run into the shell

More than we used to and that should be fine oh yeah we don’t need a food um CED food over here let’s just leave that let oh yeah need I’ll go there so I have one iron honestly going to probably need to put some more Chests you know we could bring a bed with us if someone dies in a living room is it still called a right why do I feel like Jason was the one that told you to say that I feel like Jason was the one that told you to say that I don’t know why

But I’m getting a very sneaking suspicion um we need shears how do you make shears oh you need two cuz we need to make a bed that we can can bring with us and I don’t want to bring this One and I don’t want to take too many of the villagers beds because then um they can end up dying oh when you use the oh interesting so those stay I didn’t know that okay GRE um is it almost night no let’s just go down Ray that joke reminds me of the

When is a door not a door it’s when it’s a jar um okay did oh yeah this was the hole we decided not to go down there which one was this this is the big one right I don’t like how dark it is over here also don’t like that the music

Stopped I know there’s more down there but I also don’t want to get lost and we should fix this cuz that quite frankly could end up getting us Killed all right So we didn’t go this way let’s just do this way so let’s Do uh did we not get this one because it had water oh no okay and then so we don’t get lost know that’s there so the big thing is that we need to go down right cuz we’re only at 37 and that’s nowhere near deep enough to get um

Diamonds I think diamonds are 65 at minimum although I do like finding coal a for the levels cuz we need those it’s a pretty big vein of it Too level 15 it’s pretty good eventually we will make an XP farm too um yeah I think in the update cuz I’m in uh version it’s like 20.4 I think right yeah 20.4 I think they expanded like how far you can actually go down like reaching Bedrock is actually a

Little bit lower than it was before but again I haven’t played in a minute so don’t fully know oh got a shovel thought I heard [Applause] Something More copper which we can mine if we want to cook it and get the levels which is not a terrible idea the problem is that we end up going through our pickaxes Oops and I I would prefer to find the diamonds because we can always go back to that oh yeah that’s I don’t remember that stone being in the previous version okay there’s one that 100% scared me anytime those like audio cues like that happen I definitely I can feel my heart rate go

Up like it definitely startled me okay so we’re at all right so we’re in the negatives now I wouldn’t mind also finding like red stone cuz I know we need Redstone for a few things we need lapis lazuli for sure cuz speaking of which uh can you mine it with this you

Can yeah we definitely need that Uhoh okay I think that’s gold over there I don’t hear anything and there’s lapis Zuli right here so let’s get this oh there’s a lot of it Shoot Okay yeah 19 is really good okay so um actually let’s make some more torches so we’re going to need those Anyway um bring that Down uh don’t need that the don’t need that don’t need that the Deep slate I might actually keep it because if we do decorate I think we would use that don’t need that uh this can go up here Yeah all right I don’t hear anything Bad I don’t hear anything but that’s oh I see something yep there he is come here come on come here okay so we got One I think I see something over there but I can’t tell for Sure Don’t see any spiders I don’t think oh what is that is that an Enderman that’s an Enderman oh that’s not good that will definitely kill us 100% that will kill Us yeah he’s over there yeah we will 100% die if we have to fight an Enderman because we do not have the equipment to do that okay let’s go let’s go this way and let’s see if we can um see what’s on this side we know there’s gold at

Least but like even having gold right now is really not it’s not that really that useful I think this is a hole Yeah that’s a hole um let me See yeah I know dude there’s stuff over there but it’s kind of risky I would rather just honestly go down down and around it let’s see if we can go down and around everything the Enderman to our right shouldn’t be able to get to us cuz I don’t remember if they can phase

Through I don’t remember if they can phase through walls so we know that lava is to our left as well and we’re at5 if someone can look it up and tell me the range for diamonds to see how far down we have to go that would be helpful specifically for the the Java

Edition cuz I know in Bedrock when I used to play that it was 65 that was the best best place to find it on average this is funky looking Stone okay I think we’re getting closer to the lava it sounds like it’s closer on the left I’m making sure that the Enderman

Doesn’t phase into our uh to our tunnel I don’t think they can but I know that they can uh oh oh okay so the question is is this in the same place there’s a lot of light Here oh what so that was lava right next to us Okay there probably lava right below us okay I want to kind of block it off just a little bit Diamond there’s some right there that’s diamond right there okay um yeah let’s get up to it without Dying I thought I heard a spider okay um so that’s coming from there yeah let’s just build up to it we’ll kind of like wall it off a little bit so that way nothing can um come and reach Us I swear I hear a Spider I hear a spider from Somewhere okay whatever I think there’s one up There uh so the other thing we need to do is make sure that we don’t fall CU that would also not be good that was 100% something that just walked 100% it’s right up there over the ledge yeah I just heard it oh going for this diamond it better not kill me

Oh oh no got him my adrenaline is pumping right Now let’s just take a quick breather we survived a skeleton encounter my adrenaline is pumping I have no idea where that came from I think it fell down I think it fell down from the ceiling cuz I heard something walking right above us it was literally it was walking literally right above

Us right where the diamond was and this there’s a sound to our left that sounds it sounds exactly like a um like a spider okay anybody else there is there is stuff down There okay all right before anything else spawns on us let’s just get this diamond I think it might only be one which kind of sucks but one is better than nothing all right we’ll just double check to make sure there’s not anything else yeah it looks like it was just

One so we found that at God that sounds exactly like a spider we found that at exactly -27 so we can make a note of that in the future cool okay well we got one diamond and then just so I don’t end up falling which would suck let’s just do that

Well skeleton encounter and did not die so um that’s that’s one for us three three for the skeletons let’s see if we can find a little bit more cuz one Diamond does give us an enchanting table I think but doesn’t really give us much Else I’m making sure something doesn’t spawn on us making our own little tunnel here so something doesn’t uh spawn on Us cuz I definitely there’s a skeleton and a zombie over here like for sure but so we took we took one direct hit from the um we took one direct hit from the skeleton and that took two heart ticks which means that let’s

See 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 so yeah it only takes five shots from the skeleton to kill you which might seem like a lot but that’s really not that’s really not a lot like you will go down pretty fast if you don’t have good armor and

Thankfully we had the iron sword um so we could at least take him out the stone the stone sword would have done it too but I was trying to get the um the shield to bounce the arrows back onto him and deal damage but it didn’t

Seem like it was doing any damage at all which I don’t know if that’s just different between bedrock and Java but in Bedrock um you can bounce the arrows back back onto them and it will do damage so I don’t know if they just changed that with the update or something

But that used to be how it was we got more Diamond bounce quarter off that Bedrock what’s up Angelo dude we just found another Diamond yo let’s go all right let’s see oh nice so that’s at least two okay potentially not three yeah dude like oh what is

That I don’t even know what that is three four oh dude we just got a good one all right let’s see how big it is what is this oh is that Bedrock there’s no way we already hit Bedrock we’re only at 59 dude that’s at least

Iron or if you can it just takes forever ooh uh let’s see here let’s go we can mine lapis lauli though so honestly what we really need right now is we need to go get some more um iron that’s the other thing that we’re going to need cool so we got 49

Lapis seven diamonds five Flint um we don’t need just do our throw Corner isn’t that the Enderman music I I can’t remember what the music sounds like but that sounds like it uh what was I doing oh yeah don’t need this don’t need that don’t need that Um don’t need that I guess we can keep the deep deep slate For um potentially for decorating got the Cobblestone uh don’t need the rotten flashh uh okay cool um so this is bedrock if I’m if I’m not mistaken right Angelo do you remember if this is bedrock I I thought Bedrock was way lower than that no it’s not a bad hole at

All um I’m just surprised to be running into Bedrock already because I thought Bedrock was supposed to be at like 80 or something but this is the Java Edition so I don’t it might be lower or higher for Java yeah we’re already hitting Bedrock which is nuts um let’s just make some

More we have enough food so we could do it never played Minecraft no way dude really you would love Minecraft like legitimately you would you would love it it’s very much a game that you would do very well In why did I make a stone furnace what am I doing here um no I need this let’s make more of those seven Diamond put that there yeah let’s see if we can find some more we’re definitely too low to get iron um so we might have to go up a few

Levels I don’t remember what the minimum for iron is but I guess like in my mind everything is kind of skewed the music stopped though and that always makes me nervous every time let’s See oh yeah I do miss valheim that was a good game Oh how do you like The Lego fortnite um I have a few friends that were telling me that it’s really fun to play apparently uh it’s very similar to Minecraft the Lego fortnite hold on I have to look it up I have to see let’s see here hold

On I have to see how low that is the sound of an Enderman I’m pretty certain find Diamonds and Minecraft uh oh okay it actually isga 59 that’s where you find the most diamonds okay I guess bedrock and um and Java really are that different so cuz we are yep we’re atga 59 apparently this is the best place to find it so makes

Sense what we’re going to do oh nice more Redstone what we’ll do then is um BL with dude we should play I was having issues um getting Discord to run through OBS for whatever reason um and I still didn’t uh solve that problem but I did find a workaround

Um yeah I I ended up finding a workaround for it um just requires a couple extra things so I’m going to set that up and so if you want to ever play um just hit me up cool got a full stack of redstone seven diamonds clutch completely clutch yeah so I tried that

Um I I I made sure to you may be able to spy yeah so I I in Discord I made sure that all the inputs and outputs were assigned properly and then in OBS I I did an input that pulled the desktop audio CU that’s what I was sending it out

To Via Discord and for whatever reason it just it would not recognize the audio so what I’m going to end up doing is just having Discord running on my game gaming PC and I’m going to oh more Diamond yes uh I’m going to attach the other mic that I have for the

Um for the headset and run that directly into the gaming PC and use that as the audio input on Discord from my gaming PC and so I’ll be capturing the gaming the game audio and the Discord audio through the same capture card and then I’ll just have to mute it with the

Stream deck is it only one no nice so that’s at least two nice yeah looks like it’s just two okay that’s fine Two Is Better Than Zero oops nice so up to nine diamonds Now where is I oh yeah hopefully with how long we’re staying down here it doesn’t cause a thunderstorm oh that’s not good yeah it is really janky yeah I couldn’t get it to cuz makes you a bit motion sick dude I actually had the same exact problem when I first started playing Minecraft

Um for whatever reason the the that’s weird the first person um kind of view of it was throwing me off um and so it it took me a Minute I really don’t want like a plume of lava to fall on us I have the water just in case but if I do that then it’ll block it off cuz it turns it into Obsidian hopefully nothing behind it okay that should be fine um okay let’s just test to see if we can mine this uh I don’t think that I swear I heard a skeleton I actually don’t think you can mine it with stone yeah you have to use iron I couldn’t remember for

Sure but it makes sense nice so usually diamond and red stone are next to each other uh let just put that There Angelo have you been playing um OverWatch 2 at all or no see there there uh just do H not really uh tomorrow I’m going to be streaming Hogwarts Legacy for the first time I’ve been really hearing really good things about it been playing dead by daylight lethal

Company and Lego fortnite how do you like lethal company I heard that it’s very similar to Among Us and Phasmophobia and Street Fighter 6 got to practice for a tourament oh really oh that’d be cool good luck on the tournament who’s hosting the tournament feel like it’s something thing these is very fun thanks yeah I’ve heard it’s pretty fun um I heard it’s it’s fun when you

Play it with a group that you know though Capcom themselves okay that’s [Applause] cool nice more Redstone cuz more Redstone means potentially finding More diamond so that’s Bedrock there Bedrock there Bedrock there now this might actually just be Redstone oops we just fill that in so we don’t end up Falling have you played it Hogwarts Legacy all right so I’m going to go back cuz we have nine diamonds um yeah let’s go back and drop off our stuff or we could go deeper we have enough food yeah we could go deeper let’s just

Mode so yeah it it’s definitely sounds like it’s a huge time commitment I heard that there’s like over a thousand hours of um side quests that there okay let’s we need to dump that that that um I really don’t think we’re going to need this much deep slate because

There’ll be a lot more of it let’s just dump all this uh Coal’s good Flint’s good that’s good that’s good that’s good okay I named my character Philip Eno he was a Slytherin nice I like that yeah so do you get to choose uh your house kind of like the same way the

Harry did or is it going to be a random thing I because I haven’t decided which which house I want my character to be from or be in I guess it’s better way to say it nice okay yeah I haven’t decided which one I want

Does it affect the story at all you get to choose yeah does it affect the story at all which which house you end up [Applause] In and story actually are affected by which house you choose oh really that is interesting you won’t go to a certain places if you are in a certain house Oh interesting Interesting that’s pretty cool though not the story but the side quest okay yeah that makes sense that makes sense yeah I actually really like that you only get to go to certain um you only get to do certain side quests based off of the the direction you chose for your character are we

Three I think it might just be three nice bad idea bad idea okay um just grab the because I heard the lava I really don’t want to end up causing the lava to come down on us but what we could do is actually make a diamond pickaxe and the enchanting table

And then we if we get um if we get Fortune then we can get more diamonds per Diamond vein that we find that might actually be the smarter thing to do cuz we’ve got 12 and the enchanting right uh where is it uh is going to be this

One I hate that it doesn’t show you all of the that might just be a Java thing it might have to only be the yeah it might be only that in the in the mod ones where you can see all the stuff okay whatever um it might actually be worth it to see

If we can make an enchanting table with how many books and paper we have if we get Fortune then we can Um we’ll get more diamonds every time we uh every time we mine it Yeah so okay where’s The Is it not called an enchanting table is it called something Else so bookshelf you need oh you only need three books oh dude we should we should make an enchanting table that should be our thing maybe that’s what we go back and do that might actually be worth it right now and then I think for the so I want a

Compass so we can make a map oh we need iron it’s not gold it’s iron okay we need iron okay let’s go back ah um okay so we need to remember this is our Diamond hole that scared the crap out of me let’s just get our sword out just in case just in

Yeah you need the and you need the bookshelves to make um the enchanting table so the idea that I’m going with right now is that since we have diamonds what we should do is try and enchant a diamond pickaxe to get um a fortune one the fortune enchant on

It and that will give us more d diamonds per time that we find diamonds you get a higher uh higher chance of getting more it’s only three oh we can get a crap ton of let’s go get some emeralds cuz I think once you start trading with those guys they actually

Supposed to give you better stuff let’s just go turn our potatoes into um let’s see how much he can give us oh it’s almost night time which dude was it uh no it’s not you cool that’s 10 uh that’s 10 of those don’t need bread let’s get a map cool come
