Hello it’s sliders for Dino pc and today we’re going 8-bit now a diner PC we’re actually pretty into our modding we feel that should be celebrated when individuals take a concept which hasn’t sort of come to light so far take a standard computer actually turn it into something which is A bit of an aesthetic marvel this however is actually something that not everybody feels comfortable doing so the buying a brand new products and customizing it there is a chance of sort of failure so we’ve been trying to bring modding to the mainstream by providing Sort of RGB LEDs RGB fans LED fans sort of braided cables and even vinyl wraps for the cases that we offer so that you can actually build a system or pick out the system which is truly unique to yourself we’ve also entered custom pcs dream PC competition with our TRX system We built water-cooled computer desks we’ve employed vinyl wraps powder coating laser cutting or with the intention of actually providing one off completely unique systems now our most recent in-house project has actually be a little bit simpler than some of the other things that we’ve attempted to do But the actual end result is still pretty awesome Albeit not the most powerful system we offer this is actually a one-off build for Carla’s who you may have seen in previous Dino PC videos as a present for his son his son is also really into Minecraft something that I’m sure many of you are also guilty of and because of This we elected to design of system tailored to his favorite game now the initial idea had been to take one of our mini ITX land systems as a space and have the outside painted to match an element from the game we then found that thermaltake actually produce an almost Exact cube-shaped case with flat panels on every side which would allow us to easily have the case vinyl wrap something we have quite a bit of experience with as I didn’t do a lot of the graphics for Dino TC I was tasked with preparing the artwork for print Because of Minecraft 8-bit style this actually proved very easy in Photoshop by simply setting up a grid on the correct print size artboard and coloring in the individual squares the chrysalis thermal tix of press f1 case had completely removable panels wrapping each of them was relatively simple However the lighting was a little bit trickier and required some serious customization we started one of our RGB LED kit and cut up some four pin pwm fan cables to act as connectors this proved to be a very convenient way of splitting many LED strips off of one controller And allowed LED strips be routed under the case cool under glow effect as well as throughout the inside of the case to light up the internals for components as minecraft is a relatively non taxing game we didn’t have to go balls to the wall we started with the gigabyte h 170 N Wi-Fi m ITX motherboard and an intel g 4400 cpu we then added eight gig of ddr4 memory a 240 gig a day to SSC and an FSB 500 watt power supply to handle modern games outside of just minecraft we also chose the RX 460 GPU when it comes to Performance it had no trouble with minecraft pumping out a consistent 60 FPS with higher settings and fancy graphics now at the end of the day this was a relatively simple project for us but it did actually require quite a lot of brainstorming to overcome some of the issues that we face initially starting Off with the idea of having the case powder coated or painted and then realizing that we couldn’t actually get that down to the finer to the point that we want it we elected to go for vinyl wrapping and that was only really possible because we were able to find a Case which did allow that to be a little bit easier in terms of applying the vinyl consistently returning to brainstorming though did allow a lot of the guys from Dino PC to input thereto sense which didn’t allow us to overcome a lot of the issues and come up with the Best kind of case solution for this particular project and at the end of the day I think the results are pretty awesome and the process itself is actually relatively repeatable which is kind of cool as well so unfortunately we weren’t able to go into much finer detail on this particular project as it Was a Christmas present for Carla system we have actually had to have it shipped out relatively quickly to one to kind of keep him happy but let us know in the comments below what you think of the project overall and by all means share any sort of modding experience that You’ve had in the past make sure you also leave a son like or dislike and please let us know in the comments what your sort of opinion is of the projects itself and why you liked this video you dislike it make sure it’s well that you subscribe to get more updates on future Projects that we’re working on some of the other mods that we’ve got planned but that’s what you’re going to be it from me silence at dino pc with this little sort of mud over do i hope you enjoyed the video in the mod itself and i will see you in the next one Video Information
