Today we are going to be looking at Armor tools and weapons and figuring out what is the best enchantments for these and what is the best way to apply them to your armor because things can get very complicated when you have lots of enchantments lots of different ways to

Apply them in an anvil and uh and I mean just believe me the math gets absolutely insane so before we get started you may be thinking to yourself why are you talking only about an anvil can’t I just go up to that enchanting table throw in some levels and get uh Enchanted armor

Out of it and yeah sure you can but that is the noob way to do it okay we are going full manual mode here and choosing exactly what enchantments we want for each specific armor piece so that we have God Armor we have the best armor in the game we’re focused missing on

Protection there’s you know you could get like some fire protection or blast protection we’re focused on straight up protection with this armor it’s going to be great all-around protection armor for you to use we’re going to start off with the helmet okay these are every single enchantment that you can get on your

Helmet aqua affinity will allow you to mine underwater at the exact same speed that you do on land blast protection protects you against blasts fire against fire mendine will use levels that you pick up when defeating mobs or you know mining things and it will mend it will

Bring up the durability of the item that you’re wearing projectile protection will uh protect you against arrows protection protects you against everything but at a slightly decreased rate as the others respiration allows you to stay under water for longer before you need a breath of fresh air so

Like like a normal you can normally stay like 15 seconds underwater with respiration three I think it’s like a minute that you can stay underwater before you need to go up for air Thorns whenever you are attacked it has a chance to basically deal a little bit of

Damage towards whoever just attacked you and then breaking will increase the durability of your item keeping it around longer so out of all of these enchantments what do I suggest for the helmet well Unbreaking obviously mending obviously we also want some protection obviously and then the enchantments that

Are specific to the helmet so respiration absolutely and aqua affinity all the these other ones either they’re a protection which I don’t want or thorns and I really don’t like Thorns mostly because it hurts the durability of your armor and your friend might punch you it may have side effects so I

Just get rid of thorns I don’t like Thorns at all so these are the things that you should enchant on a helmet but as we go into the enchanting uh the Anvil here you’ll notice that that one cost two that one costs six that one cost four so they cost different amounts

And also the way to really enchant well and efficiently is to First combine books and then apply it to your armor and that’s because every time we apply something so I’m just going to go ahead and duplicate everything here let’s assume that I went about this the noob

Way okay I take this I enchant it I take this I enchant it you’ll notice that this cost is gonna start going up every time we add a new enchantment um and that actually didn’t mean that bad but you can actually get the cost reduced a lot if you combine to books

Because every time that you enchant anything there is it’s kept track of in the game and so it becomes harder and harder to enchant more later on and especially with repairs and that sort of thing so we want to try to combine things and use like face math so if we

Like combine two books and then add two books to a helmet that works out way better for us step one let’s get rid of this trash helmet is take your respiration and your mending books and that will only cost you two levels to add those two books together next

Protection and aqua affinity also only cost two levels to add them together next go ahead and just take your diamond helmet and Unbreaking and put those together that will only cost you three then take the other two books that you have combine them for a total of eight

And then add it all together well with an enchantment cost of 18 for the very very last enchantment and there you go the best armor in the game moving on to the chess piece so blast fire mending projectile protection thorns and Unbreaking nothing new here but the things that I would

Recommend for the chest piece are Unbreaking you got your protection for and your mending and that’s it okay not a lot of things to choose from not nearly as many as what was in the uh helmet and I don’t I took them out so uh just really those three things and the

First step is to take and by the way you can kind of do this math yourself see how this one costs four to add this one as three to add and this is two to add well obviously three and two are going to be the cheapest and it’s based off of

Whatever book is right here that is the cost so this one that cost four to add this protection for okay that one we definitely don’t want to use so we’ll take that one away We’ll add it right there and this mending only costs two so now we’ll we’ll get that so that’s that

Cost two to add this one costs three to add so we’ll go ahead and add that and then we can add this in here and it’ll cost eight and you might be thinking well why don’t you just take this one I’m gonna switch it like that well that

Doesn’t work that way okay you’re adding this to this so this is your base plus your thing and that’s where your enchantment cost comes from anyway that was the easiest way to do it so eight uh at the end and this is the best oh a chest piece that you can have we’re

Adding it to our uh our op chest right here next are the pants very similar to the chess piece in that there’s no specific thing for the pants like there was for the helmet you know you don’t have respiration for your pants so the things that I recommend are Unbreaking

Protection four and mending and that’s it and it works the exact same way go ahead and put mending on protection four that’ll only cost two put the and breaking on your pants that’ll cost three add them together that will cost eight and you’re good to go now your

Shoes are in totally new category because there is a lot of enchantments that are specific to the shoe to the boots I guess I should say so you got your blast protection depth Strider this will allow you to move faster when you are standing in water so the effects and

Slowness of water will not affect you feather falling will reduce damage if you take fall damage you absolutely need this fire protection we learned about Frost Walker when you walk on water it will turn the water to ice temporarily I actually absolutely hate this enchantment and if you have Frost Walker

You cannot use depth Strider you can only have one of those you can’t have both of them so uh definitely choose depth Strider over frostwalker mending we know about projectile protection protection Soul speed whenever you’re walking on Soul Sand or Soul soil you’ll move faster like you’re sprinting but

You’re not actually sprinting Thorns we learned about and Unbreaking we learned about so what do I recommend well definitely Unbreaking definitely Soul speed definitely protect action we don’t need projectile protection mending we want Frost Walker get out of here we hate you next is feather falling absolutely need that depth Strider we

Need that and there you go those are the enchantments now this is six enchantments remember the previous thing we just Enchanted only had three enchantments okay so this is going to be a lot more complicated in order to get this on the boots step one go ahead and

Put mending on the boots that will cost you two next depth Strider and protection four that will cost you four now add those two together so you got your mending and your depth Strider and your protection four and that’ll cost you 12. once you’re done with that add

Your soul speed and your Unbreaking three book together then the last remainder gonna add your feather falling four to the other two books the soul speed and Unbreaking so that’ll cost you five and then you add all of that together and that will cost 25. now I know that

That is an awful lot that ends up costing 51 levels in total so you basically have to have a grinder in order to get these perfect boots uh they are amazing they are awesome and they are worth it and believe me I’ve tried other methods of mending things and

Getting and like I you know I started with the soul Speed 3 is like an insane amount of levels so I’ve tried like Soul Speed 3 with minion blah blah uh the 51 is like the lowest that uh it gets so there you go that one’s that was hard a

Lot of these other ones they’re not that bad so we’re gonna move on next is elytra uh and this just doesn’t have in this is the total amount of enchantments you’re gonna get on a live chart you can get mending and you can get them breaking three and there’s just nothing

Else you can’t get protection you can’t get anything else on elytra so uh it’s pretty simple uh you’re just gonna basically put any of them on it’s gonna cost three and two and no matter how you swing it it’s it’s gonna cost the same amount just to show you let’s say you

Put on you’re on breaking three first that’ll cost you three then you put on your mending second that’ll cost you three that’s six total this time instead of Unbreaking three let’s put on mending first that’ll cost you two and then throwing on The End Breaking that’ll be

Four so that ends up being six same number as before the one thing you shouldn’t do is add them together this this seems like a a great plan here we’ll even do this the opposite way uh one more time so this is two this only

Costs two this is gonna be so easy but then you add it to the elytra and that sex so you’re being eight so that is not so good and remember we had two here so let’s switch it so that’ll cost us three that time and now it cost us six so

That’s nine so just add basically any book first don’t combine the books and then add them don’t do that but just add whatever book first and then the other one doesn’t matter and then you get your perfect pair of elytra now we’re two the weapons and we’re gonna start off with

The trusty sword here are the enchantments that you can get on a sword bane of arthropar pods which will attack spiders more who wants that nobody nobody wants to pay enough arthropods fire aspect which will alight enemies on fire that you have hit on the Bedrock Edition this can

Also light candles uh knock back which will push enemies away after you hit them looting three which will cause more mob drops mending which we’ve covered sharpness 5 which adds more attack damage Smite 5 which will attack Undead creatures more uh I kind of like how you know arthropods does spiders sweeping

Edge which will add more damage to surrounding mobs when you attack them when you talk like a single mob in any surrounding mobs they’ll get they’ll get hit and Unbreaking three we’ve covered so the things that I like for my sword are arthropods get out of here fire aspect

Yes I like fire aspect knockback I don’t like it I could understand someone may want this but I personally do not like knockback I don’t like it when I’m fighting something and it just like goes flying away all the time uh alluding three absolutely crucial mending crucial

Sharpness five crucial but Smite is not that bad either um a lot of people will have a sword or a ax and if you’re someone who wants to carry both you may consider putting Smite on your ax unless you want to only use your ax as your weapon which is

Totally fine uh but but if you’re gonna use a sword and an ax maybe put Smite on that ax so smite’s not all that bad and then you know use that for Undead creatures sweeping Edge I don’t really like it I like a more focused attack and

I end up like killing my own like friendly mobs and stuff when I use sweeping Edge so I don’t like it and Unbreaking three so that’s uh crucial so we got fire aspect looting three mending sharpness and Unbreaking here is how you add this to your sword for the best

Enchantment cost First go ahead and do sharpness five on your sword that’ll cost you two five next take fire aspect and mending and that’ll be two then do Unbreaking three oh and looting oh and that’s not what I meant to do oh there we go uh looting three and I’m breaking

Three and that’ll cost you three and then add those together and there will be one that cost less than the other so this eight is what we want so we’re gonna have that eight and then throw that sword in there and that’ll be 19 and there we go sharpness five eluding

Three Unbreaking three a fire aspect two amending sword amazing now I’m assuming that you are going to have a sword and that you’re not going to use your ax as your main weapon although the ax is a really really powerful weapon as well now I have the ax in here twice because

I have it here and then I also have it over here in the tools we’re just we’re gonna ignore this tool one over here because we’re gonna get everything we need on on this ax over here span of arthropods don’t want it efficiency five absolutely sometimes if even if you’re

Gonna use it as a weapon you might want to use it as a uh as a a an offensive weapon or as a actual tool so yeah efficiency five uh Fortune three I’m gonna say no to Fortune three I don’t even know why I grabbed it fortune 3

Will drop more uh like you could Fortune leaves and that one that could be Fortune but when it comes to an ax that doesn’t really you don’t really need to Fortune much at all uh mending absolutely we have to have it sharpness five you can add sharpness five on an ax

And it’s really really awesome if this is going to be your main weapon and you’re not gonna have a a sword then sure but if you’re gonna have a sword I would say instead go to Smite and use Smite so we’re gonna add Smite silk touch not really super required but I

Like to put this on on my ax basically for leaves if I don’t want to go and get shears and I want the leaves I can just use my ax it’s almost like a convenience thing for me yes you could put this on it would be more efficient to put this

On a hoe because a hoe will break a leaf faster than an ax but I tend to like Silk Touch on my on my ax because I can use it to kind of pick up leaves every once in a while you might not want to do that and then on breaking three of

Course we already have mending in there as well so these are the five enchantments that I want on my ax so here is the secret way to get the cheapest enchantments on this ax so first off we’re going to add Smite to the ax okay that’ll cost us five then

We’re going to add silk touch and mending that will be two then we’re going to do efficiency and Unbreaking three and that will be three so five to 3 we’re at a total of 10. now if you add the efficiency and the silk touch you only get a total of eight and every

Other way I’ve done this it’s like I’m not a total of nine so if you add those two together you’ll get eight so we’re at 18. then you add the two together you’ll get a another 18. for a total of 36 levels needed to make this diamond ax and by the way this

Can all be done with netherride or whatever uh it doesn’t have to be Diamond um the the levels all stay the same next is the bow reach your enemies from afar flame will set the arrow on fire Infinity will allow you to only need one arrow in your inventory and it will not

Pull from the arrows in your inventory when you fire mending power five and punch two punch two is just like knock back except you punch and so pushes people off on breaking three and and we’ve covered that one now power five is basically like the sharpness on your

Sword power five is how much damage you deal so definitely we want Power five we definitely want Unbreaking I don’t care for punch so I don’t like to have a punch on there and now it’s really up to uh and then flame is is cool I guess

Yeah I’m gonna say I I want flame on this on this bow uh infinity and Mindy here’s the deal you cannot have both of these on your bow so you have to make a choice infinity or mending I am personally going to go with mending over infinity I accidentally made an

Extra Infinity book and the reason that I go that way is having a super powerful bow is way helpful and I don’t want to be enchanting all the time okay I want that mending really really badly the infinity is nice but I tend to not go

Through 64 arrows when I’m out and about and whether rather with rather whether rather if I just have one inventory spot with one Arrow it’s basically the same as one inventory slot with 64 arrows okay so rather or not rather I have oh my God I don’t even know what to say

Basically because I don’t use 64 arrows when I’m out and about it’s still taking up an inventory slot either way and so I don’t find unless if I’m like going crazy into PVP and I know that I’m going to be using hundreds and hundreds of arrows

Um having a stack of arrows is no big deal so I would rather have The Mending on this bow so here is the most efficient way to enchant start off by enchanting the power five so that will be a cost of five uh funny enough then

Unbreaking and Flame that will be a cost of two five six seven or up to then add those two together that’ll be another seven so our total cost is up to 14 levels and then throw that last mending book on there and now you have a total

Of 19 levels with that enchantment that last enchantment costing only five so there you go now you have your power five Unbreaking three flame ending bow which is incredible now these next three things okay I don’t feel like they’re super needed okay um obviously a trident is a trident and

I wouldn’t really suggest it as using it as a main weapon unless the first you’re like in a very specific situation where you don’t have like a normal weapon um but you got channeling this will cause lightning to strike from above impaling which will uh hurt creature aquatic creatures more

It’s kind of like Bane of Arthropods but for aquatic creatures loyalty which will have the uh try to return to you quickly the higher the Loyalty the faster it’ll return mending obvious Riptide which will allow you to spin and like like Zoom after um you know after you when you throw it

You basically don’t let go okay it goes flying but you fly along with it and then uh Unbreaking three which which we know by the way Riptide needs to be done in water or while it’s raining um same thing with channeling needs to be thunderstorming in order for for that

To happen so this is a kind of like a very specific tool instead of really a uh a weapon and when we cover like I don’t use crossbow I don’t really suggest crossbow I’d rather just use a Bow crossbow has some advantages and who enchants their

Um their Shield I don’t know but we’re gonna we’re gonna cover it so starting off with the Trident what do I suggest so I’m going to to decide to basically ignore Riptide 3. you cannot have Riptide and loyalty because you never let go of the like you might not let go

Of it and have it and same thing with with uh channeling uh you can’t have that with with Riptide so you have to choose between Riptide or channeling and loyalty and I like the channeling and loyalty a lot better because channeling you can cause lightning to strike and I’ve used that specifically to

Supercharge creepers in my own single player world so we’re doing that impaling is like useless okay you almost never have to use it so we’re going to ignore that so we’re getting channeling ignoring and impaling uh definitely want loyalty we want it to return mending obviously we

Gotta have it and then Unbreaking and we’re skipping Riptides so these are the things we want channeling loyalty mending and Unbreaking three how do we enchant this the best so start off with channeling and loyalty that’ll be three levels next on breaking and mending that’ll be two levels five total now

Take the one that you just made so this uh the six one Unbreaking and um uh mending and that’ll be uh six levels we’re at five so this is eleven levels total and then another 11 levels and that will be 22 levels to get your Trident and adding the two are op

Situation okay next is the crossbow um the crossbow you know it’s kind of cool I guess I’ll I’ll bet see all bets are here uh so mending we’ve covered we know what this is multi-shot the crossbow has the option to shoot three arrows at once a little bit off to the

Side of the main Arrow at no extra arrow cost piercing will go through mobs so let’s say you have like five mobs lined up you can shoot three through all of them which is kind of cool this is piercing four so with piercing one you

Get uh like like what two mobs you can hit two mobs and then the two you get three months so four you get five mobs uh it’ll stop on the fifth mob Quick Charge allows you to pull the crossbow back faster which is amazing and then

I’m breaking three which we know so what do we want we want them ending we want the Unbreaking we want the quick charge and now we have to decide basically between piercing and multi-shot because we can’t have both of them this is uh not a we can’t you can’t there’s

Mutually exclusive I am personally going to choose piercing and the reason I’m choosing piercing is basically only because uh there’s a there there’s an advancement uh for piercing um I’m not even yeah I don’t even have the the advancement here okay I’ve given myself all the advancements so here’s the

Crossbow advancement uh so you can see that we have two birds with one Arrow so kill two Phantoms with the piercing arrow and then you also have over here kill five unique Mobs with one crossbow shot and the only way to pull that off is with piercing not with you can’t you

Know there’s five unique mobs you can’t shoot with three arrows and kill five unique mobs so uh piercing is also the only way that you can pull off that advancements and and this one is just you gotta shoot a Pillager uh with with a with a crossbow so uh two advancements

For one enchantment and that is definitely why you need to go with piercing here’s the cheapest way to add this together so you got your piercing and your mending as always mending in this last slot is going to give us two then we got a quick charge and

Unbreaking three and breaking three is always going to give us three by the way if you’re following along and then you have these two books do not combine them okay you might think that but then the next output would you’d have that’d be 15 to combine so just put the crossbow

In and as you can see with either book it costs seven and then the next one is going to cost 10. if you’re doing your math that means that this costs 22 total levels in order to make and there you go you got your best crossbow ever

Finally the shield and there’s only two things that can be applied to the shield you got you’re on breaking three and you’re mending just to make sure that that shield never ever goes away so that it just is just you just got you just gotta love it just gotta love it and

This is going to seem really similar to the elytra because it is just apply any single book uh and and it doesn’t matter which one because the math all works out uh the same so any single book we’ll start off with mending that’ll cost us two then add the Unbreaking that’ll cost

Us four total of six and it doesn’t matter if you did the Unbreaking first or whatever it’ll always be six total levels to make that perfect shield now to the tools we’ve covered the armor the weapons now we’re on to the tools start off with the pick efficiency 5 will

Allow you to mine faster fortune 3 will increase the number of drops from any or and remember in 1.17 every single thing drops or mending we covered that silk touch will pick up the block of itself so if you mine or instead of like with Fortune where it drops all the all the

Raw materials uh silk touch it’ll just pick up the aura itself and on breaking three which we’ve covered before now I have long been a supporter of using a silk touch pick when mining and then going back to your base and using a fortune 3 pick at the base because let’s

Say you’re mining Redstone okay the fortune three that thing it makes so much Redstone and your inventory is going to fill up really really fast but it’s come to my attention that now that all raw materials raw copper raw gold raw iron doesn’t matter can be made into blocks and each block

Will hold nine of its raw variant including Redstone can do this as well that as long as you have a crafting table with you and you can transfer these raw materials into blocks that uh it’s actually it’s great for your inventory space because now you have

Blocks of raw materials so normally I am like all about silk touch on your pick but today I am saying that possibly fortune 3 is the way to go so we’re gonna go efficiency five a fortune three mending skip silk touch because we can’t have both and Unbreaking three and that

Is going to be our awesome pick now obviously you may run into something where you want uh the silk touch a variation of this so we’re going to do the same thing again we’re going to make an efficiency mending and I’m breaking three silk touch pick

As well okie dokie in order to make this most efficiently go ahead and add efficiency and mending together that’ll be two levels Fortune three and then breaking three that’ll be three levels five total and then add this to your pickaxe doesn’t matter which way because

The math will always be in your favor so a total of five we’re adding eight that is a total of 13 plus 13 we’re at 26 to get the uh fortune 3 pickaxe next is the other way around and oh I did this incorrectly so we’re gonna do uh

Efficiency five and let’s go with that mending and that’ll be two levels and then your silk touch and your on Burger King three that’ll be five levels uh total because that’s three sorry it was two and three I’m doing all this math in my head it’s going as it’s gonna go crazy

And once again it doesn’t it doesn’t matter so we got eight levels uh on the first one and then 11 levels on the next one and there you go you got your silk touch pick and you got your fortune three pick two amazing picks for you

Can’t be better now we are skipping over the ax because we covered it over there in the weapons uh I put Smite on it and it ended up being fantastic now that’s shovel you got your efficiency which we covered Fortune which we covered mending which we covered in silk touch we’ve

Covered all of these here is uh what my thoughts on the shovel um this I personally hate fortune on a shovel really the only thing that you can Fortune with a shovel is gravel and with fortune 3 every piece of gravel you try to mine will turn into Flint it’ll

Just be Flint for days okay you won’t ever pick up any gravel and sometimes you want gravel and not just a ton of Flint so the other thing is that and remember fortune and silk touch you can’t have them both on the pick yeah or

On the tool you have to choose one I would use silk touch every single time the reason is because also on a shovel you can pick up grass blocks with your shovel and I use grass blocks all the time if I don’t want to wait for dirt to

Grow into grass you want to be self-touching some grass blocks so we are gonna go for efficiency skip over Fortune go to mending silk touch and Unbreaking three here is how we make this shovel is it going to seem really similar because we’re going to start off with efficiency and minding that’ll be

Two silk touch and I’m breaking three that’ll be three for a total of five then just add it to the shovel it doesn’t matter which way our first one is a eight our next one is eleven that is a total of 26 if uh I counted correctly next is the

You may be joking around here okay you got your efficiency well what is this even work on on this hoe well uh it can mine leaves hose will mine leaves um another wart which is like the leaf thing in the Nether um so efficiency is actually really

Really useful on a hoe Fortune three what can you Fortune with a hoe seeds so if you use fortune on the on any of on the crops it will drop more crops uh specifically with wheat it’ll drop a ton more seeds it’s the same amount of wheat

But more seeds from there so you could use that to get bone meal I don’t find it very useful mending though uh I guess like I guess do you really use your hoe that much that you need Mindy well maybe silk touch completely useless and Unbreaking three so we’re gonna go with

Efficiency because of the leaf pickup mendine and I’m breaking three I guess if I’m using a hope to break leaves the Unbreaking three and mending that would be useful because I want I you know the sufficiency five is not easy to get so efficiency five mending on breaking

Three this would be my leaf breaking tool the cheapest way to make this is to do efficiency plus mending that’ll be two then the ho plus Unbreaking three that’ll be three total of five plus nine for a total of 14 and that is now added to our op list

Next is the fishing rod and the fishing rod has luck of the C3 this will decrease the amount of junk that you pick up and increase like the nice things like fish or enchanted books or that sort of thing lure which will decrease the amount of time between uh

Catches mending which is obvious and Unbreaking three and we want all of these on the uh on on the fishing rod and the least expensive way to do this is to do luck of the sea plus mending that’ll be two lure plus Unbreaking three that’ll be three for a total of

Five then add these in whatever way you want even though it looks like oh one’s cheaper one’s not well when you can buy find it later on all the math works out so start off with nine we’re at five so there’s a total of 14 plus 13 that is 27

Is the total cost for the perfect fishing rod of your dreams next are some items I feel like you shouldn’t enchant okay we got Flint steel and uh shears okay and yes you can enchant these with Unbreaking you can enchant them with mending but should you no I don’t think

So I think that these are such cheap tools they are not worth the levels or the books that it costs to enchant them up so just don’t bother enchanting these two tools uh so so there you go that was the easy easy answer and there you go this should be you’re absolutely
