Discovering Hell in Minecraft’s Terraria Mod!

So good morning everyone welcome back to terraria craft today we return for a very special reason and that reason is by the end of today’s episode it is my goal to find hell yeah i’ve been seeing the comments a lot of you have been

Telling me to to go to hell and i’m like 90 convinced that that means ferrari craft so by the end of today’s episode i’m going to be digging thousands and thousands of blocks downwards because i want to see what’s down there is it just lava are there homes does hellstone

Exist what is actually down there look i need to know as a true terraria veteran i can’t say i’ve completed terraria craft until i find it uh before i begin this voyage though we have to prepare marty because listen mate when a terraria player finds hell it does inevitably mean your downfall you

Know this marty you cannot run away from faith so we may not be seeing him for much longer um listen there’s no need to stand up you’re fine don’t even worry about it it’s only marty we’re after so the plan really is i’m just going to

Dig down why not i’m going gonna do it troy style i’m gonna build a elevator yeah all right uh i’ve also got a timer or i’m about to set a timer on my phone i wanna know exactly how long it takes to to dig all the way down you know

There might be some factors to get in the way maybe i’ll get distracted i don’t know easily done in a game like this so i’ll begin the timer now and i’m going to dig down all the way to hell now i know what you’re thinking james what is this

Why are you digging down like this well the plan is if i fall hit a cave and die all i’m gonna do is is respawn and rope back downwards because we have enough money to buy the rope to continue now we did think about the fact that

Maybe we’ll build like a two path downwards but i just don’t see the point i feel like this is inevitably going to be quicker um so yeah what is actually down there you lot have been asking for so long and today i will provide you with the answers

Oh yeah so one more thing you’ll be able to see that in my hot bar is stone and dirt try keep her a little eye on that maybe leave your predictions now how much stone and how much dirt do you think i’ll have by the time i hit hell uh

I think unless i start like repeatedly dying in a moment i think 12 minutes we’ll find hell so another nine minutes to go maybe i mean i’m just guessing my guess is as good as yours okay so we just passed six minutes so if my prediction is correct we’re about halfway

But i don’t know i’m not really too convinced we just fell into uh into another caving system that i’ve been to and i feel like those caves just went on for for hours so i don’t know i really don’t know so we’ve just reached seven minutes and

A half and as you can see the game is now becoming uh slightly more unstable like there’s a a very big delayed reaction to uh to the animations and such and i think this might be a trend i think the closer we get to hell the more the game is going to lag

Because it’s kind of like the oceans where it doesn’t really know how to figure out like a big open area so if the underworld is is the majority of it is just lava i think the game is going to really struggle we’ll see this might just be a

Spike uh but this is part of the reason why you lot have been saying that the mod is potentially unstable for me and that’s because unlike minecraft each chunk has a lot more to uh to load in because the world is so much deeper than minecraft and that’s just the theory um

That might be true it might not be but yeah the game is is really beginning to lag now so we’ve just passed the 10 minute mark and uh and the lag just keeps getting worse it feels like it’s taking me twice as long to break a block compared to normal

Uh yeah this is this is a rough time i might have to oh well my prediction was 12 minutes and i think i’m definitely going to be wrong i think more like i think at this rate i’m going to say 18 minutes so i think i can hear the music changing

So we’re at 13 minutes and a half and every now and again i can see a a slight orange flash uh the game is becoming much more unstable though it looks a lot more glitching but i think that that’s what it’s having problem with i don’t think it’s able to load in

You know this giant pool of lava so i think we are very very close to the underworld now i can like quite literally hear the music okay interesting oh This is gonna be ash right has to be so do we uh do we accept fate and just dive into the lava or do we like try and make this work i think we dive into the lava on the first go and then we’ll come back and explore it with uh

With rope and touch okay not bad not bad what time is that we just passed 14 minutes okay very interesting i don’t think we got too much longer to go oh oh my g well look at that i think we can all realize why the game was having a a really rough

Time loading that in that is giant that gave me like a weirdly a real sense of dread because of how large it is like it looks uh it looks intimidatingly large oh god i’m still on fire oh no all right well there we go so we’re gonna rope down then

And try and uh whoa all right uh demon eye we’re gonna actually try and check it out okay this was the this was the pit demon i please we’ve got big moments going on here i feel like this eyeball was sent from marty mighty wants to know why we’re off to

Help you i should have done i can’t believe this i should have dug it i should have dug it in the house and descent marty down to his demise oh my god that would have been so good maybe i will maybe i’ll nudge him over here just just for the fun of it

So what i’m doing right now is just uh placing down the rope uh you can see that it that it is still going but i feel like with the the lag that was caused by just going near hell i feel like if you were to zipline down this

We’re just gonna break the game like i’m really looking forward to a crash i don’t really mind i don’t mind breaking stride craft i think it’s a laugh but i i genuinely think we’re gonna so this should actually be enough rope because we have 400 stone

30 dirt and i think like 20 silk or ash or whatever so i think we actually have the perfect amount maybe i’ll go by a little bit more in a second but it’s going to be funny because down there we’ve got to maybe try and figure out oh no okay right

This is going to be very interesting because i have a special potion that we could use for this so if you’ve ever seen me play terraria before you’ll know that i don’t believe in making a bridge across hell i like using a walking potion and we have a water walking potion that’s right

Yeah i want to see if this is maybe a possibility uh we’re gonna buy a little bit more rope uh just in case yeah sell me a little bit look at him he looks so excited he’s like it’s like james are you finally off the helm yes i

Am merchant yes i am okay let’s put the let’s put the silver back okay so let me go grab this water walking potion i don’t think i have too many of these i think i only have one of them so which one is it in oh no i’ve got two

Of them okay that’s interesting man this would have been good wouldn’t it i could have changed my own prediction okay i’m not going to take it now we’re going to finish this rope up and then go down there yeah if you can still build that that

Well i don’t know i wonder if rope actually places through the lava or not that’s kind of interesting it’s a good four all right let’s zip line down whoa look at this oh my god this is wild oh my god it looks so cool so you can see the game is starting to

Freak out a little bit it looks a little bit more jury what do you think oh my god look at it oh it’s so cool this feels so abnormal compared to regular old minecraft oh my god we really did dig down oh my god it’s just so odd

So somebody was saying that this is a like a respite version of scaffolding it’s kind of cool i don’t really like scaffolding i mean i haven’t played minecraft since it was added but i’ve seen people use it it looks good okay oh god i didn’t have enough oh my god it

Had enough rope never mind so the only problem is and they kind of realized this uh yesterday i don’t think we can actually get the the fiery great sword only because we don’t have a shadow pickaxe and we can’t get a shadow pickaxe uh because we can’t kill uh the eater of worlds

So i feel like right now we’re kind of um we’re kind of locked out of it unfortunately which i know is a bit of a shame because we wanted to to do all the you know the stuff that i set out yesterday but i just don’t think we’ll be able to

So let’s try this then so if i drink this can i walk on this no no i can’t all right i don’t feel like this biome was uh i don’t think me and mortal eyes were meant to set on this thing i feel like i’m in the uh title sequence for doctor

Who like [Laughter] so here’s my plan i’m gonna oh god i’m gonna come off the rope and try and place a block like to the side of it like that oh there you go oh that actually worked okay so i’m safe okay and you can crouch walk all right good

So we’re gonna crouch walk our way over there so i am actually over a big pile of ash now so i’m just gonna place these down like so just let that build downwards oh there you go buddy the game is so unstable it just can’t you can’t figure out what’s going on

So here we are in the underworld oh my god if they add the wall of flesh into here it’s going to be the most terrifying thing in the world it’s not going to feel good at all so i think i saw a i see a little bit of hellstone

Fairly certain i did i can’t tell where it is now because it’s so dark so this is interesting uh they’ve started work on a fire blossom it’s pretty cool can’t harvest it but that’s all right oh i found some health stones so let’s see

If we’re able to mine it or not i don’t think we’re going to be able to yeah unfortunately not we need a shadow pickaxe and for that we need shadow scales so we need to kill the ear of worlds so right now i guess the fiery great sword

Is unobtainable same as the the knights edge and such so we might have we might have just peaked we might have um we might have uncovered all of the secrets in the mod i feel like we have so i guess now it’s a waiting game to check out when um updates start coming

Ah yes the settlement uh so real quick i’m just gonna quickly actually finish this off uh so yeah i was thinking about using mud brick i can’t actually remember how mud brick is made because i can’t remember if it’s made of stone and mud well i guess it doesn’t really matter

Too much because because of the fact that we can always um yeah we’ve got so so much cobblestone is what i’m trying to say so i’ve just finished up the mod block path and you know what i kind of like it i do i think

It fits the theme well i would have made it out of this but it did look a little bit strange because you know it’s like it’s the same block as on the roof as on the floor so i think this is a good little middle ground

But it feels it feels homely now it’s really nice i tell you what let me build this into a nice little step there you go yeah look at that i don’t know i like it all right let me fill out this home then so this one’s going to be for the

Demolitionist right so um two houses have almost been complete so i’ll slap a little bit of glass there a little bit of glass there uh put a window in here squirrel i’m really sorry but you can’t live here he actually honestly he scurried away like he knew okay let’s put this door

Down uh let’s put a door here open it up and then table and a chair man it’s really nice building terraria homes in 3d i’ve really grown to to love it so then this one will be for the arms dealer uh so it is still my goal to

Obtain a mini shark i feel like it’s something that we have to tick off the list honestly to say that we’ve beaten ferrari craft but then after that who knows i do have some other little videos that i want to make uh but we’ll see

Okay let me let me fill out all of these yeah there we go look at that nice little neighborhoods so the funny thing is we’ve made this house with the demolitionist but i don’t even know if he’s going to move in uh because i feel like he’s kind of

Confined to this house over here he’s just like settled in so i think one of these houses is going to remain vacant but i guess it’s good because if we get a future update and they have to say the dryad uh that’s where she lives or like the goblin tinkering or whatever

So there’s the settlement it’s looking good right i really like it um it’s probably a window here this one looks a little bit odd since uh i don’t have a window on the front do they all have windows on the front yeah they do uh maybe i’ll put one in here as well

I don’t want to break that oh god as i’m literally about to say i don’t want to break the sunflower because i really like the look of it there but look at that you can replace it so i think that’s going to do it for uh
