DO ENCHANTMENTS STACK? In Depth Weapons & Armor Breakdown in Minecraft Dungeons *UPDATED*

Hey what’s up guys this is foreign back with a new minecraft dungeons video a couple months ago minecraft dungeons was released and one of my first videos which i uploaded was a little mythbuster video do enchantments stack in this game and also how exactly because there are different kinds of ways

How enchantments can stack some of them simply don’t stack some make the duration a little bit longer while others will increase your damage or healing so that is something that you definitely need to know in order to take the appropriate enchantments for both your weapons and armor

And today guys we are playing on the creeping winter dlc this is already the second huge update for minecraft dungeons the first one being the jungle awakens dlc right now we actually got our hands on even more enchantments for the game so i think it is the perfect moment to update this video

I also read some awesome questions in the comment section of my last two enchantment stack video where people asked if it is actually possible to get your house a three times cover this or of course uh can you stack anima conduit with both your melee and raged weapon

Well guys all this information will be included in the video so let’s get right to it all right so guys here we are at the beginning of the creeping woods i think this is the perfect place to showcase these weapons with multiple the same enchantments because they are

Mainly zombies and skeletons inside this level which make it pretty easy to show the damage modifiers and it would be also very much appreciated if you can hit that like button for a second because it actually took me days in order to get the items which we are going to showcase right now

Also my emeralds went from almost 100 000 to seventy thousand to get my hands on all these items guys for example this one has double fire respect we also have the double chains right there and i was even lucky to get my house on my two times

Thorns as well as three times cooldown reduction guys also for the out of my conduit i have two different bows with the anime conduit so you will be able to see the difference and also this frost scyther so we can see the combination and how the stacking exactly

Will work so let’s first of start with this great hammer this one has both two times prospector and two times fire expects i first like to showcase the fire aspect i’m also wearing armor without any cowardice so you guys will know exactly what is gonna happen

Right here so great hammer is number one guys let’s move on to the myth busting so um this one has a regular damage which we’ll be able to see in a second so this one deals 2241 damage which you can see exactly on the numbers right there but when we add one times

Fire aspect this will also deal one thousand and eight damage every single second so um you can tell that this deals a fair amount of damage and then this guy has the thorns so let’s just go with that 202 for every tick right now if we add a second fire aspect guys

This will deal 303 everything so this does mean that it is stackable but it will not add up the exact same amount normally if you would do the 202 times 2 this is easy math by the way you get 404 but right now it deals a lot less

So fire aspect is stackable but with a reduced effect which means the first fire aspect will add up the exact damage per second which it says on the first enchantment but when you add up another fire aspect it will add up less damage so this is definitely not interesting to stack guys

Next up we have the sickles and these sickles will have smiting on them which will increase the damage by 40 on the third tier which is really awesome so let’s equip the sickles for a second i’m also gonna salvage these great hammers and um the sickles have 729 base damage

So we’re gonna walk to these mobs 729 guys look at that 729 there we go and right now when i add smite because these are zombies i will normally deal plus 40 damage so 729 times 1.4 says 1020 that is exactly what we should deal as damage and this indeed deals 1020 damage

And for the last hit it deals 2380 but if we take another spike guys if we take another smite this should increase the damage by 80 but that is not what is happening right here so with two times smiting we deal 1239 and the final hit is 2 470 something

So uh let’s get back to the inventory so we did see right there that the smithing does stack on the sickles but is this 100 we’ll see that right now so 729 times 1.4 times 1.4 so 2 times plus 40 this is 1400 almost 29 damage and we were dealing a little bit

Less so it is not a stack of 100 so it is also not really recommended to stack your smiting two times or even more it will always be interesting to focus on different enchantments guys the next weapon is the maze guys this one has two times chains and i also wanted to check

If this actually stacks together so it has a 30 chance to chain a cluster of mobs together and keep them bound for a short time on maximum tier this is three second duration so let’s see how long this will actually be with two times chains all right so we’ve got

A stack of zombies right here let’s try chaining them up one two three four five six that is exactly how long the chain takes let’s do one more time one two three four five six and then it should break there we have it so um it will increase the duration

By three seconds on the second enchantment and the third one will also increase the duration to nine i also got my hands on this eternal knife could be pretty interesting for soul builds plus two soul gathering thrust attack and chance to gain bonus souls and i got my hands on two

Times sharpness on this one makes your weapon sharper causing it to deal more damage plus 33 increase damage on the maximum tier so if you get that two times that would mean that you can increase the damage by 66 or well is it actually 66 so we have 3631 melee damage right here

And when we take the calculator add in 3631 and do times 1.6 because that is exactly how much damage we just added to our weapon we get 6027 so um let’s check that out if it actually works like that so i’m going to search for a couple mobs

Right now 6 000 is the number that we are looking for 6 400 we just got right there 6 43 so it actually adds up a little bit more than our calculator is saying so this doesn’t work exactly how we think it should or well does it because if you do 3631 times

1.33 times 1.33 well this is almost the number that we are looking for so it could take the enchantments one by one rather than taking them at the same time another pretty rare rule which i found was this common spear with three times rampaging guys after defeating them up there is a 10

Chance to increase your attack speed by 50 for a short time which is pretty insane guys so every time we have a chance of increasing our attack speed by 50 i’m gonna do this to the max level so we will be able to get it to 50 seconds duration

Let’s equip this one for a second get rid of the eternal knife sorry bro but um when we kill something we have a chance of increasing our attack speed to a pretty high level which is really awesome so i’m just gonna kill a couple mobs right here

There we go we just also leveled up which is awesome 10 is pretty small guys but here we go 15 seconds rampaging and right now we can actually hit twice as fast which is very cool especially in combination with a strength potion this can be a very powerful enchantment

So right now we are dealing a lot of damage and also attacking quite fast if we take our death cap mushroom we will attack even faster which is very cool but will we get even more attack speed if we take another enchantment with rampaging let’s check it out right now

So um we’re gonna take the second red paging it could either increase the attack speed by 100 or make the duration 30 seconds so here we go we just got our hands on rampaging right now it says three times rampaging 28 seconds but um we just procked it once again and

It goes to 30 seconds in total and as you can see it doesn’t really affect the attack speed it only affects the duration so let’s take the final one right here just to confirm that this will go to 45 seconds all right there we go guys rampaging 45

Seconds in total so don’t ever stack it up it will only increase the duration and i think 45 seconds is overkill even 30 seconds so with only one ram paging you will definitely be settled oh boy this one three times radiance that is gonna be an

Awesome one to showcase as well you guys are probably thinking my fighters bindings has three times radiance should i go for this well it is super cool to do but at the same time overkill and i’m going to show you exactly why so i’m gonna get rid of the spear and

Equip the sword guys one time radiance will heal me for 694 on this weapon with a 20 chance to spawn the circular area that will actually heal me and my alias alleys by allies that are close so 694 ouch so they already dealt some damage 694 that is exactly what you can see

Right there so let’s add the second radius right now so 694 times two should be 1388 of the healing no that was 1212 so that is not enough guys we need a little bit more of the heals so i’m gonna add up one more radiance 1735 when i have three times radiance which

Is of course not exactly what we were hoping for so if we’re going back to our calculator and type in 694 we do that one times three this will heal us for 2082 but in reality you can see that it will only heal us for 1700 so this will of course

Also stack a little bit but with a reduced effect every single enchantment which you take so yeah guys it can be pretty cool to stack up radius but as you can see right here i still only have a 20 chance of it to pop up so it doesn’t mean that we have

Three times 20 chance of a radiance heal it will only add up to the heals not to the chance of actually healing yourself all right so i just found a checkpoint in the creeper woods let’s check out another enchantment so i’ve got this axe right here with three times looting

And looting is a really awesome enchantment which i am going to showcase in a new video because i think this one is really undervalued increases the chance for mobs to drop consumables and with only tier 1 it will increase it by 100 but if you have looting tier three that will

Increase the chance by 300 percent which is a lot guys so let me take one times looting on this x first all right so we’ve got a couple mobs right here with only one time looting guys 300 increase you can tell that um we just found two items

Of just a couple mobs that is nice and all but it is not super crazy only now and then some items will drop also some food of course not just consumables but also arrows and food so let me kill this zombie as well now we’re going to crank it up by another

Maximum 300 and this would increase the chance by 600 so let’s check it out for a second i just reset the level because it will be a little bit easier to showcase it right here so um 600 guys here we go you can definitely tell that they

Dropped a lot more look at this we got two apples one swift explosion one shadow brew and also an arrow bundle so that is a lot more in comparison with the 300 double actually congrats with the mats right now we should have 900 look at that guys wow

This is definitely increasing it even more look at that we just got tnt tnt some swiftness uh strength and shadow bro so many items at the same time i really like this one so um yeah guys this is definitely something interesting for a couple builds um if you only have one times looting

This will not be super efficient but if you’re looking for some potions just equip a weapon with three times looting that will increase the chances big time look at this guys they just keep popping up now you guys are probably thinking will it be worth it to enchant

Three times looting on a weapon if you actually get your hands on one well i think it definitely is because it will allow you to take down bosses a lot faster if you are having some trouble with them of course make sure to equip another weapon to take down the balls a little

Bit faster which actually has some damage enchantments alright so i showcased most of the weapon enchantments out there and guys i just got my hands on this double x right here at the village merchant so this one has three times perspective guys so let me buy it straight away

Alright so guys here we are once again in the creeper woods and i currently have only one time prospector on this double x find more emeralds or fallen enemies plus 300 increased chance so let’s kill a couple of zombies and see how high the drop chance is

As you can see it is not very high so right now i’m gonna add up another prospector so right now it should be 600 percent oh man without the death cat mushroom the attack is going so slow i’m gonna add another death cap mushroom right here so we have two of them

Can tell that 600 is indeed happening guys we find many many more emeralds in comparison with the first one so uh right now i’m gonna add a third enchantment three times prospector on this double x look at that guys you will be able to get rich

Super fast with this but uh of course i think it will be a little bit faster to uh speedrun things like the creeper crypt and also the lower temple because right now every single time when we kill a couple mobs this will give us like three to five emeralds

Which is not a lot guys look at this what 18005 we have right now when we kill one mob you will see it in a second we actually get two emeralds that is not very much this will maybe drop more only two emeralds once again

So um i do think that lower temple for creeper crypt farm will be a lot more interesting to mix up the scenery a little bit i am traveling to arkhaven right here and wow we are jumping straight into action let me just get rid of these mobs right here we’re

Gonna showcase the armor a little bit so here we go just get our hands on a couple more emeralds thanks to the prospector but um i’ve got two pieces of armor the first one is the evocation rope i want to show you guys the thorns damage so whenever you take damage you

Deal damage back to the attacker 200 of the damage is returned so when we go to the max level it will be exactly that okay so right now i’m looking for some skeletons with range damage that will be very easy to showcase this uh thorns damage so we’ve got one right there

All right hit me guys the big one with the helmet is gonna hit me first it will deal 790 damage all right that is fine 799 almost 800 which means it’s gonna have to deal one thousand uh 598 damage when we actually take the second thorns there we go

1 399 so this doesn’t really add up unfortunately it doesn’t add a plus 400 uh damage on the thorns but it can be super powerful as you can see let’s check out a regular skeleton 1166 this will kill him in only two hits which is pretty insane

All right guys right now it is time to showcase the triple cooldown reduction something that you should definitely get your hands on if you’re playing with uh speedrun builds for example so um i actually like to play with my splendid rope this one has a built-in minus 25 artifact cooldown as

Well as two times cooldown reduction and in combination with a cover this guys this is probably the best piece of armor you can get because um it will almost instantly reset the cooldowns of your artifacts and at the same time add a total of plus 70 percent increased

Both ranged and melee damage or well 70 for the melee and 40 for the range because this one is plus 40 on both of them and this one has a built-in 30 for melee damage so you can tell that the splendid rope is splendid guys it is a super awesome piece of armor

For both speed running and dealing a lot of damage so today i was very lucky to find this wolf armor with three times the cooldown reduction enchantment available so when i take my calculated digit at 27 times 3 in total 80 reduced cooldown which is actually pretty crazy so um if

We are looking at the deathcap mushroom this one has a 30 seconds cooldown 30 seconds cooldown times point 19 is a 5.7 cooldown which is pretty crazy a death cap measure with only almost six seconds cooldown is it possible guys well we’re gonna check it out right now

So um i’m gonna take the wolf armor three times cooldown reduction oh we just ran out of enchantment points i’m just gonna equip this one get rid of the vacation rope and uh get two more levels so right now we should have a six second cooldown on the deathcap

Version when we activate it so here we go one two three four five six well that doesn’t really happen one two three four five six actually it is almost 12 seconds cooldown and guys there is also something very important that you need to know i see many people making this mistake all the

Time so is it actually worth it to get your hands on triple cooldown reduction on a splendid rope battle rope evocation rope or amber rope and well the answer to that is no don’t do it please don’t do it two times cooldown reduction in combination with the built-in minus 25 cooldown reduction

Is definitely enough to make sure that your artifacts are always on cooldown and will work 24 7. so um this emblem rope has two times cooldown reduction also one time acrobat which allows me to use my bow all the time with burst bow string this will uh give

Me a lot of extra movement speed because of the tempo theft if you wanna check out my speedrun build guide my in-depth guide just click the card in the top right but for my damage bolt i’m using a splendid rope and this one has cover this which gives me a plus 40

Increased range damage and then another plus 30 melee damage built in so i have a total of plus 70 melee damage when i am on full hp and only two times cooldown reduction so this is two times minus 27 and then another 25 right here but um when i actually use

My artifacts which you can see right here they will be on cooldown right at the moment when the effect goes away so i can just pretty much spam my ghost cape 24 7. also when you look at me using the deathcap mushroom clicking it right now

The duration is 15 seconds but it is already halfway right now it says nine seconds and bam on six seconds it’s already on cooldown so i can use it another time so i will pretty much use my deathcap mushroom 24 7. so it will never wear off exactly the

Same with my iron height amoled so this one has a duration of 15 seconds and the cooldown is already ready when um it is on eight seconds duration in uh the cooldown which you can see right here so two times cooldown reduction and one building cooldown reduction

Will be perfect for any build you can use of course if you have an item that doesn’t have a building cooldown reduction it might be useful to go for triple cooldown reduction but um since we’re focusing on a build with a speed training for example then you should definitely go

For a building anyways so you will be able to take a third enchantment that can be super powerful and here it is guys the final test anima conduit does this stack if you use it on both your melee and ranged weapon well guys let’s check it out straight away

So i’ve got three weapons right here one is the frost scythe with a melee attack and then we also have two bows right here one crossbow and one regular bow all of them have a tier three anime conduit which will heal you for six percent health whenever you take a soul so um

Let me equip the soul scythe first all right so currently we’re on five thousand well four thousand seven hundred hp i’m gonna take down this skeleton we go from 4700 to 5150 so that is indeed the exact amount which we heal with the anima conduit if we add up

A ranged weapon then we take this one down we are 5150 right now it will go to 6 000 so it looks as if it it’s only healing one time but if you are looking at the left of our screen guys you will see that the anime conduit enchantment is popping up twice

Look at our left right here two times another conduit you will be able to see that we are actually healed twice by the anime con with enchantment so this doesn’t stack up right there but it does stack up in the left of our screen so that is really awesome uh when you

Take a bow with a more soul gathering on it it will not really change the effects it will pretty much heal for exactly the same amount which you can see right here there we go 426 times two right now we are at 5937 so definitely guys if you’re working

With souls if you’re working with anime conduit if you like this enchantment this way of healing yourself then you should definitely stack them up for example people some people that really don’t play with raged at all they should have a weapon with them at all times

Which has anime conduit on it because it will always heal you for six percent of your total hp a really awesome anima convict rule would be this feral soul crossbow this one has plus two soul gathering soul critical boost which means it will deal even more damage

When you have more souls uh gathered and then also a power level three which will increase it by 33 damage also the anima conduit which will heal us for free in the background and then also the dynamo so if you’re not using this weapon only equip it every time when you roll

In the level and get to the balls at the very end you will be able to do a very strong dynamo shot and it will just take it down in only one hit without having to use it in the entire level which is pretty cool another very

Interesting rule could be this bow of lost souls because this one has a chance to multishot and with the anime convert i will of course heal myself in a background but then with a burst bowstring and tempo theft enchantments i will be able to travel very quickly as well so

Right now i am not using my bow i’m just rolling past these guys and every time when i roll this will automatically shoot my enemies and this will steal their movement speed so this would be a very interesting item to play with if you were uh working on a speedrun build for

Example when i take my amber rope right here and go with my let’s see boots of swiftness i will be able to move super fast guys look at this i will just steal the movement speed of all the enemies and at the same time i can heal myself every time when i kill

One so i just killed a skeleton right there and the soul will actually come towards me look at this bam i’m just healing myself with the animal conduits and of course with the radiance i’ll be able to heal myself up even more so there is that by the way a huge
