docm77 – Minecraft 1.3 Update Preview: NEW Enchanting, Tripwires, Jungle Ruins and MORE!

Villagers have been changed rebalanced and stuff and you can trade two items with them now this is fairly interesting I got a bunch of them collected here and for example this guy here and this is something it’s pretty cool you can trade in enchanted items now so I prepared

That here got me some emeralds and an armor and let’s get us this enchanted armor here yes epic chess played fire protection too and when you trade with them they will learn new trading options the more trade trade options they have the less the chances become they can

Is very interesting enchanting was changed and it’s only up to level 30 now so from our standard bookshelf set up you can see around here with the 30 bookshelves aligned around the enchantment table maximum is only 30 now and chances are way better you get better stuff so let’s get some tools i

Prepared them here and put some enchantments on them i’ve also got some levels on me show so should be good so let’s try it out yeah and that is the maximum a level 30 we won’t get any higher you can try as often as you want

To craft a new thing that is in the game tripwire yeah let’s get one there you go craft it like that oak planks off planks stick iron in God and then you can get to from from that so we got a bunch of of them here we don’t need much and the

Cool thing is you can now yeah lay down traps with that or activate things you can see there’s string on the floor you can play string and i will quickly show you that let’s let’s hook something up here you could put a tripwire there and you cannot interact with it like a lever

Or something but you can put string next to it now it doesn’t do anything so you need a second one so let’s for example use one of these wood blocks put another one next to it right over here one of these down and connect it with your

More blocks but this is really cool and I mean you know you can you can do some fun stuff you could have those dispensers and put some fire charges in there and yeah set up really simple traps with detection just like that yeah so that is pretty cool I’d say you saw

Very helpful also there was a new game mode integrated in the game and yeah I will quit trolling you I don’t know myself what it is down there but a new game mode was integrated adventure mode in this game mode you cannot break or place any blocks but you can interact

With blocks like doors leave us and stuff so you can set up adventure maps and don’t have to worry about griefing and they’re still working on that but that’s pretty cool also and yeah you can interact with villages in that mode for example and another thing silverfish and cobblestone and stone brick spawning

Blocks are now in the creative inventory that is also cool and yeah now let’s have a look on that thing down there I discovered that in case you want to have a look yourself I don’t even know what it is a jungle ruin a jungle village whatever I see no

Villager so suppose it’s some kind of a jungle ruin there is the seat can use to / seat command to bring up the seed check it out if you want you will spawn next to it right next to it somewhere over there so you will be able to locate

It here in the jungle and yeah one thing game pauses when you press escape and you’re in single player so let’s have a look on that saying I’d better you have mops turned on you never know maybe there’s something specially it’s a massive block I cannot find an entrance

Oh there’s something all right I think there’s an entrance below so when I saw it correctly it was covered by there we go here we go so it is a dungeon it’s a dungeon made from the mossy cobble so let’s travel down now in the stairs and

Have a look I think I should get me some torches it’s also pretty cool you can search for stuff in the inventory it was not newly implemented but came if the latest updates Oh let’s trap look at it test leavers ok I will not touch anything for now there’s

A tripwire can clearly see it and dance the dispenser back there so let’s try if you can there’s a way to deactivate it come on it’s true it’s triggered ok there’s red stone there was nothing in there but yeah it is it’s red stoned it’s a redstone trapped inside the game

And yeah we got chest in here so probably I don’t know what these levers do but maybe you can now you couldn’t deactivate the system with it we need to break that Oh what isn’t there look at that there’s a piston set up kind of seems to be broken maybe it

Opens a secret door on top here then maybe it’s supposed to work like that or you have to use them in a correct combination or something but it seems to be broken for some reason not working really I don’t know what it was supposed to be not the redstone masters here but

Let’s oh okay this is the better step so maybe yes the redstone was on there may be broke off and the spawning algorithm or something that you were able to activate that so it’s some kind of a hidden hidden thing inside this ruin so that’s what I found out pretty cool all

The new staff tripwires traps Wow amazing so you saw the seat saw the features let me know if you have found out more stuff there were minor terrain changes I saw red and some bugs but other than that I think we covered most of it so feel free to leave comments
