Have you ever wondered what happens when you give a riptide trident to a drowned if you have chances are you’ve seen one of these videos where they give the drowned a riptide trident and you got disappointed when you saw that they just end up throwing it like normal like if It didn’t have any enchantments because yeah that’s just normal behavior or vanilla so as you just so i have it so drown can actually use riptide traders now and yeah today i wanted to experiment with that and see how far we can go in riptide levels before the game Breaks so what you saw was level one uh as you can see we can try again by getting closer come on attack me there we go level one not too far and he just ends up always going back to the pond uh but yeah riptide one can be Easily avoided it just doesn’t go that far so as you can see i have a little command block here that allows us to customize the level of riptide so what we’re going to do is we’re going to gradually increment that um up to 255. this is going to go well this is going To go well i see no issues that could potentially arise from this so level 3 should be a bit harder to control already yeah they should be able to hit us from very very far away now come on yes can we outrun it nope No we can’t so if we actually put it to night time um now vel won’t go back to the pond however as you can see it’s it kind of breaks uh they still are able to throw the trident if they’re not underwater so uh they’re double dangerous excuse me kid How stop what what’s that range my dude okay i think he’s done now what the okay got it so now what i want to see is how it actually works underwater against other enemies so a lot of you might probably hate me for this but we’re going to use The axolotls as our test subjects oh my god they’re just killing each other they’re just killing each other oh my god they’re just killing each other no uh they’re still okay oh no there’s still another one okay and they got him They have an impressive range but are so dumb that they kill each other accidentally all the time like stop it oh oh it does work oh it does work okay i thought it didn’t i thought it didn’t i thought they didn’t chase villages because they weren’t normal zombies okay I just oh my god yeah that is amazing oh my god i love that so this was riptide three and there was already quite a bit how about we go further the next thing i want to try is actually rip tide five see how that goes Okay if you can maybe tigers [Laughter] Yes no wow nice nice mlg trick shot you try to make oh my god they just go they just they just never stop all right so this was riptide five we’re going to try double the value this time we’re going to try riptide 10 see how that goes for us no no Oh that’s uh that’s that’s tough buddy okay what if i switch to spectator yes Goodbye all right rip take 10 is already a bit strong um let’s double it again let’s go to riptide 20. okay okay uh bye and he comes back all right we doubled so far so let’s double it again let’s go for riptide 40 this time around okay you got me whoop Yep you you you just don’t say it uh landing should be a bit rough as always you know what we’ve been doubling all this time let’s go straight to the big leagues let’s actually try riptide 255 now i think we’ve played around enough to see that it just goes further and Further again but what if it’s the max value yes there you go and he’s gone but the game still works fine okay wait hold on did you try to aim at this one and went the other way around it looks like it it does oh my god Oh they just come from okay they’re just coming from okay they just teleport around they’re just underdrowned and they just disappear they just they just teleport they still managed to get their soul balls they still managed to get the target they just hello buddy i didn’t think about this earlier And i really have no idea why but let’s spectate one let’s actually spectate one and see how okay okay okay okay you’re going to space oh the game is struggling the game is definitely struggling and oh Okay come on oh okay uh okay we’re gonna have to try it again Yeah all right that is confirmed um the drone just goes so far the game just kicks you out of the body oh and one last thing before you ask Also works you’re welcome Video Information

What happens if Minecraft drowned have a riptide trident? Giving a Riptide enchanted trident to a drowned doesn’t make them able to use the enchantment, they’ll just throw a trident like usual. In this video, I showcase a Minecraft mod that actually makes it so drowned can use Riptide properly.
