Hey guys what’s up my name is DJ and welcome to a brand new series here on the channel and we are here on the theta SMP server theta theta however you want to pronounce it that is the way I’m gonna mess it up so many times I’m going

To call it different things every single time but how are you guys all doing today welcome welcome welcome everybody I am now positive theta I joined a little while ago um about a week ago I guess when this video I was gonna go out just over a week um before this video

Goes out and I I have some stuff here I done things some some things to talk about so in today’s episode we’re just gonna do a little bit of walking around a little bit of resource gathering it maybe gets ourselves some food to start off because we are going to die we are

Going to die not good and we have no money so we cannot buy things from these shops yet and we are going to starve to death so let is let us head off in a direction and kind of just start gathering resources and that’s basically what today’s episode is going to be his

Kind is gathering some resources getting on the server getting some stuff done getting some work done and then from there we’re just gonna you know we’re just gonna we’re gonna get some stuff done you know we’re just going to go from there get some stuff and then in

The next episode we will maybe try and find our selves our own little place that we can call home my skype is not on private it is on full blast I believe that is the graphics designed to hit me up it’s all gonna be being like a man

Lovely lovely just like a bat and so we’re going to do a little bit talking we’re going to do a little bit of things here in there we’re gonna do a little bit of discussion we’re gonna talk about some of the people that are in here like

Hoop out of beta and some pserver stuff like that but first things first we need to get ourselves cow tipper because we need some food before we die die of starvation and we are going to live a little bit because I think this might be hosted in the EU I’m hoping that it’s

Not if it is we’re going to maybe see if we can get it changed a little bit closer to home because i’m not sure if you guys are all EU but i know that and also I’ve just been lagging all day there’s been something that’s been up

With my internet and I don’t know what it is so we’re gonna go kill these sheep because now that we are in 1.8 we can get money from these guys makes these guys a little more valuable so we’re going to kill you be able to get our

First bed as well out of this you really don’t you get one one one health bar or one thing out of eating a mutton I haven’t taken coordinates to spawn so this is a bad thing so maybe I’m gonna look in that direction I’m gonna f 3 f 2

The only builder here on this server there are a lot of people that know how to build on this server build well like CM Brockman and three or h3 monkey or something like that whatever his name is I have to get I have to learn all these new names and

Also later off in episode we will do a little bit of um rhyming off of names of who is in this here SMP so that everybody knows everybody knows everybody on this stance hello hello hello there are many chickens over here but they are going to be our food source

For right now because we don’t have any food and there is Cole here so we are actually going to start to collect resources right here and start here because this is where this is kinda just we’re going to start off like as you as you guys know I’m not like the best at

Like speed building like speed crafting and online I’m a very slow minecrafter and I’m okay with this I don’t need to be like ha trihard crafter that’s not what I need to do I don’t need I’m okay thank you though appreciate it um what this series is going to be a lot

Different um there isn’t really a theme behind it so it means it’s not going to be as PvP base which means that also along these people that are here want to actually do SMP a lot of people that were on purge not to be like mean I

Guess I could say they were there for the PvP they were there for PvP and that’s what they were part of purge for because it was purged was basically a pvp based server i can say that um yeah i can say that okay so perché was

Basically a pvp server pvp SMP that is not what theta is Theta is SMP straight SMP small multiplayer with a bunch of small youtubers and we’re just here to have some fun do some building get to know each other and do some fun events along the way and that is exactly what

We’re going to do in this series is exactly what I’m hoping that we’re going to achieve in these APIs episodes episodes episodes what are those is that a new new type of episode I just crafted a friggin ax guys I’m on I’m dude I’m over it all right time to go mine dude

Hopping into this a little bit faster know what you think 30 AJ and I’m i agree with you i am hopping into this a little bit fast as you can see i’m getting a lot of block like so hopefully that’s not something that’s going to be like extremely common for me cuz

Building is not gonna be fun for DJ if there’s block leg really not going to be fun for you if there’s blog like all right besides the fact um can we mine our first piece of coal we can would combine Cole get wood can mine coal I

First set of tools we’re gonna build a furnace we’re gonna get ourselves set up we’re just going to get a little bit of stuff done right over here in our little corner and we’re just gonna do that basically that’s all we’re really going to do we’re not really doing much over

Here really no all right oh my I never I’ve never struggled so much with minecraft in my life shahdag I got I got a workout this sensitivity like I’m losing my mind guys why is it 32 I thought I just said 250 hello fifty like this feels much better I don’t know why

It was at 32 that just felt so slow to me anyways as you can see i’m still getting the block like every now and then it’s not something that’s consistent I have a feeling it might just be my internet because my ear has been fluctuating all day it’s been

Lagging and I’ve been getting these lag spikes I feel like I’m getting lag switched I have no idea why I know what they’re doing some work down the road and like they’ve been digging holes in the ground I’m hoping that they haven’t like messed up my internet with my cable line

And then meaning my internet is going to be broken for like three months really hoping that’s not the case that be bad be very bad alright so as that’s cooking up we’ll be able to heal up a little bit more and then we can actually get some stuff done over here collect some

Get myself a chance table yeah perfect awesome problem solved we are now going to do that we have found dunkies guys we did it we did today we found the down he’s found the asses puns guys it is not a swear word I swear well then I’d be swearing well that just contradicted

We’re going to collect a lot of resources today so we have yet we’re about halfway through the video and we’re going to be discussing some other things video and so basically what I want to talk about today is why I plan on doing on this server what is going to be my

Goal for this SP purge we had goals and a lot of our goals were kind of pushed off because we were doing all the building on the server we built spawn we hit a lot of that I am no longer the Builder there are lots of builders on

Here there i think there’s about three of us that are like I considered I guess the builders of the server and so this means that we’re gonna work together as a team basically do projects together work on the nether hub and spawn as a group which is really nice because that

Means that i don’t have to go into my world and be like yeah do i got a design spawn i gonna build it on the server you know nah i don’t have to do that anymore which is lovely and i’m so happy that i don’t have to do that anymore I don’t

Get me wrong building is a great thing I love it but just when I felt like I was obligated to go and build spawn and I was obligated and I felt like I had to go build someone’s house that’s what I didn’t like and that’s kind of I guess

What I slightly demotivated me from playing perch but now that I’m here I’m mine in a way I’m having a great time I was talking with him the other day um unfortunately there was nobody on right now maybe give me a little bit of a server to or who what’s been built where

Some people are at at the moment nobody has gone into the nether again i believe which means that we are doing an event but i will not be able to attend it because well i’m just not going to be able to attend that i have work and work

Has to take a little bit of priority because i need to make some money because i’m driving a truck trucks man truck yeah so yeah um I don’t really know personally I just need to work I’ve been scheduled to work if they gave me like a ton of notice I might have been

Able to get it off but you know hey you know what it is what it is we I just gotta make do with what i can get get get in when I can on my free time I kind of get caught ups with some people because some people are pretty far ahead

In the SMP so far some people are stacked already some people got tons of resources some people just gone absolutely hambone spawn has already been taking off crazily and it just been crazy a lot of people just been going crazy on the builds and it’s really nice to see the people are

Motivated i mean like because they start I guess they kind of prefab spawn it made a little bit easier for them to which is better yes um so yeah this wasn’t really much of a cave hopefully there’s no another cave system nearby because this one’s kind of a dead end in

All ways here’s a little bit more iron I’ll take that here’s what my goal is my goal is to get ourselves an area built um are like our own base area somewhere that we can build our own house a big house it’s not gonna be the same one

That built on purge because that wouldn’t be right oh man I’ve done so much talking today outside of Minecraft and all that and yeesh been doing so much is talking to talk and stuff but my throat killing me man I need to drink some water so we might take another

Break everyone’s I find a cave system like this look at this look at this straight on down we go let’s go okay little more scarier than I thought um a little scarier than I thought there’s some lava lava already but this is going to bring us right down to the level that

We need to be at where there’s all the resources maybe this will even bring us all the way down the diamond level we can find diamonds in episode 1 a pretty solid start if you ask me I mean I was the first person to find diamonds on

Purge but I guarantee you I am NOT the first person to find diamonds on theta there are people to have diamonds already there are people that have enchanting tables already I’ve already seen some of that some people’s episodes I’m a little bit late to posting for anybody that doesn’t know I was invited

To join theta before the release on New Year’s Day but I do decline the offer at the beginning because I I just felt like it was too soon um I just need to think a little bit more about it just to double check and make sure that I was

Okay might with myself joining because I just felt like purge it just ended a few weeks before and I was like yeah I don’t know yet man they invited me way before they open like a couple weeks before theta open I was like hey man just like I

Think about it a little bit he’s like yeah do don’t worry about take your time the opportunity is always gonna be there we everybody wants to hear they did a vote on whether not they want me in and I got flying colors apparently nobody voted no against me being in the SMP and

I think that almost everybody voted they had 12 people vote which is that yeah that is it because me and linky it have been added now which brings I think the count up to 14 in theta which is amazing that I got full votes in which is really

Nice I I’m really grateful that people supported me in bringing me in here which is crazy just absolutely crazy thank you to all you guys in theta um let me pull up my phone real quick while we’re in here I think we’re safe where we are um betta betta betta SMP all

Right we’re gonna read off people that are in this here SMP following 14 people yeah 14 is exactly it so we’ve got Dominic also known as linky who is part of purge pires vaz squiffy who is part of group 1 sand choose i think thats I say ride productions little rat raging

Tempest Henry uh h3 monk or H monkey yeah H monkey Fluffy’s here CM Brockman who is a builder ace pads app Lisi also known as will which was a farmer purge member and Kapil whitey dapple from the purge SMP those are all the people that are in here including myself DJ Megatron

And yeah that’s not bad roster if you ask me that’s a pretty sweet roster I’m really happy with that roster some people that I don’t know so that’s some people that I’m gonna have to get to know and I’m always up for meeting some new people um so with that being said I

Had somebody in the other day that I know from a while back ask me something he’s like hey do you remember retro MC now Brendon you guys that have been following me for a really long time maybe even before I started doing YouTube you would understand rush

Retro SMP means to me means a lot um retro was one of the biggest things that I participated in it was a surveyor that I ran with the I named Brendan also known as blurred dr. blur HD blur ology he’s over Twitter he’s all over Twitter

And all that type of stuff um not really that much anymore he doesn’t really tweet that often but me and him ran a server for a few months and it took off really well we got a player base of up to about a hundred almost all the time

50 to 100 which was incredible we had created our own small little Network which is just crazy um to see that it made that as far as it did and I’ve been wanting to do that again for a long time run my own server I used to be part of

Carbon MC I’m not really sure if I’m part of it anymore we’re just kind of talking here guys we’re kind of talking I used to be part of carbon MC and for any guys don’t know what that is I posted a couple videos on it I was administrate around there and I’m not

Sure if I’m not anymore because I haven’t been on there in like forever I don’t remember the last time I was on that server so i don’t even think they’re gonna keep me as admin there if I was that’s great cool story I don’t know if I’m gonna continue it but along

Those lines really all I have to say about that is I’d really like to create my own fan server we’re not a very big group community yet where we’re at like 340 of subscribers which is crazy by the way thank you guys for that we’re almost

At 350 we’re making our way to 400 which is that making our way to the 1k dream my goal for 2016 was to make it to 1k subscribers that is my goal if we make it there in like I don’t know if we make it there by the summer we’ll do

Something special during the summer we will do something special during the summer if we make it to 3k subs we’re sorry 1k subs we may get there before the summer you guys you guys are going to be rewarded I will come up with a goal for you guys for 1k something to

Look forward to maybe it will even be a band server where I will create one server and then build a network off it we’ll see how it goes you’ll have like donation ranks and all that if you like oh yeah I know you can use it for money

Nah that’s not what I’m gonna do every I did this with my Lasser I didn’t get anything out of retro MC I didn’t get anything out of carbon MC I have never made a dying off of a server never made a dime any money that I made off it I

Put back into it all that money all the donation money I put towards upgrading it make me better getting better stuff tiring developers to make plugins make game modes all that type of stuff that’s what I did with that money and people didn’t really get a chance to figure

That out which was kind of sad because you know people are like oh we donated like at one point I think we got mine shaft yo no we can’t end off the video here no this is where we’re gonna have to end off the video oh no that’s so sad
