Dracaan – Minecraft Tutorial EP:24 – Alchemy

Hey how’s it going ladies and gentlemen welcome to another episode of minecraft tutorial and a few things have changed so before we begin our tutorial session let me show you what happens so far we’ve had cows we have a few chickens finally I managed to find melons I found

Pumpkins we have a nice new enchanter study of sorts where we can enchant our gear and as you can see it’s a bit overkill because the max that you should have is 15 but I decided to make it look somewhat reasonable so we have 6 12 18

Heresy there is a farmhouse being built there it’s not finished yet but oh it’s gonna be a nice thing that a NPC hopefully will decide to live in we still got the Sheep then other words are growing nicely and yeah I’ll be not venturing very very much as you can see

By this little map over here this is how much I explored so far so this is the home as you may have guessed this is the first village I found here is the second village I found and there was a village somewhere around here so the I didn’t

Have a banner with me and this is where I found the jungle biome this whole place is a jungle biome here oh yeah and there is a village over there well yeah so what are we doing today today we are brewing oh yes so what we will need

These are a few potions I already made for myself earlier let’s test this one as well so we will need water bottles which already shown you how to obtain we place it here and we will need another words we place one and it will turn those water bottles

Into awkward potions so I will begin with one of the more useful potions we can make and that being the healing potions for which we will need blistering melons blistering even and how we do that we place a melon slice in the middle of the crafting table and

Surrounded with golden nuggets and this is why we needed melon because this is a potion that you will definitely have a lot of use for especially later on in the game ok we will also need glowstone ok I will not do anything else yet this will increase the healing potency

Changing the potion of healing into potion of healing – which will simply heal for more And there we go instant health – we can’t change them into splash potions which pretty much works as a grenade I guess we would do that with adding gunpowder to the recipe so we could chuck it on for example some undead and deal damage or check them on

Some friendly mobs or players to heal them and probably ourselves okay next on the list we will make a potion of water breathing sadly and I need more water bottles now okay and again we need to turn them into awkward potions this is how most recipes will go

You start with an accord potion and then you go ahead with it to something else Just keep in mind I’m gonna show you a few posters that you will need as a somewhat fresh adventurer I will not show you the creation or how the stronger ones work like the fire protection or the leaping sprinting and all of that sass those who’ll be able to

Make yourself okay and we have a potion of water breathing which lasts three minutes three minutes even we can improve that by adding redstone it’s not squid dying yeah that was a squid dying so just to simplify it redstone makes potions you last longer while the glow dust increase their

Potency but in many cases also reduces the duration okay and we have potions of water breathing and again we could make it into a splash potion but we don’t want to okay let’s go out and give it a quick test so what everything is here as you can

See we are losing our breath reasonably fast okay let’s go back I’m gonna take this as well now if we drink the potion we get a buff on the top right and when we enter our inventory now we are on the bottom of the river over here and as you

Can see my breath is still four and it will remain so until the potion runs out which is seven and a half minutes so you can do quite a bit of that okay we could possibly know we have still a few next one is probably the most important

However we will be making a potion of weakness again we need this and we need to create a fermented spider eye for which we need a mushroom Brown mushroom sugar and of course a spider eye and the recipe looks like this okay we added to the awkward potion again and this time

We will want to make it a splash potion wait they mess up hmm hang on was it oh I think I know what went wrong yes yes yes yes this will happen when you’re not scripting your videos no not accord we need water bottles I believe before we now added it will

Create a potion of weakness am i thinking correctly I am it’s gonna last one and a half minute and it’s gonna reduce the opponent’s attack by 4 Matt as it is right now we would be able only to drink it if we add the Gunpowder

We will be able to check it like a grenade on the opponent’s zombies players everything pretty much we see And it is done and combining those tests on a zombie villager and then fed with a golden apple this would allow us to convert the zombie villager into a proper villager after a short duration and one more potion I want to show you which probably will be somewhat useful

For you especially if you’re playing with other players and you either want to troll them or you’re playing on some kind of a oh wait on some kind of a PvP server like I don’t know hypixel or whatever so we need awkward potions we need spiders aye we need a gunpowder and

We will want to increase its potency this is one of the cases where you can either increase its duration but reduce its ticks or as I’m going to show you here you can increase its potency but reduce its duration so from 45 seconds I believe it’s gonna

Be 21 seconds now so since it’s night outside I’m gonna quickly have a quick snooze because I want to show you how poison actually works in this game there we go poison too but now it lasts as I said 21 seconds but again in this shape or in

This form we could only drink them and this is why we will add gunpowder to it Actually I’m going to show you one more potion which is quite a neat one we will need one more fermented spider I’d oh There we go all right splash potions of poison we will need for our test a potion of healing tree let’s convert all of them right so potions of healing if memory serves if we add a fermented spider right to them this will change those into pretty much grenades it gonna be

Instead of instant health it’s gonna be instant damage unfortunately if you will use those own Undead it will heal them instead which is may muscle if you’re hunting spiders other players or the incoming illeterate yeah those will be definitely useful And there we go okay and harming poison I’m gonna show you how those work all right so let’s begin with the splash potion of healing we can toss it it lands on us and it instantly heals us a bit that’s that it would here it would

Heal a small area around us as well or do damage if the target would be Undead but yeah that’s how it works the downside of splash potion is you lose the flask you just break the flask well if you would be drinking it you would still receive the flask back now

The upside of it is however it’s instant you don’t have to drink and now let’s go with the harming potion and as you can see that is a lot of damage we received I was 2 4 6 8 9 or 10 points of damage so yeah that was quite a lot and the

Final potion is the poison potion as you can see it takes very quickly but no worries it will not kill me I will remain poisoned so if my health regenerates it will instantly deal damage to me but yeah this is some more of a way of weakening the opponent

Before landing the killing blow but yeah this is pretty much alchemy in Minecraft and yeah possibly in the next episode we will try to find ourselves a villager hopefully it’s gonna be a brown one because we definitely would want to have a farmer already preparing food for the
