DRAWING WITH JUNI: Learn to Draw Redstone Monstrosity | Minecraft

Foreign So I know we’ve taken a long break and for the last year in 2022 we hardly did any drawings but this year I’m gonna try and do more so um today we’re gonna be drawing the Redstone monstrosity from Minecraft dungeons if you don’t know what that is well you

Will see once we drop it or you can see in the thumbnail so it’s a really cool boss from Minecraft dungeons not not normal Minecraft and today we’re going to be drawing it let’s get ready to draw so I’m ready to fight it guys so now we’re gonna start drawing

The Redstone monstrosity it’s gonna be amazing so I’m gonna use a Sharpie marker but you could use whatever you want to draw so the original monstrosity is actually kind of complicated so if you’re not up to it I recommend you don’t start because it’s a bit complicated there are

A bit of details normal Minecraft character don’t have too as much detail as this so we’re gonna start off with the head the head is pretty simple actually so we’re gonna do a little diagonal because it’s kind of he’s roaring away so I’m gonna make a slanting line let that come down

Okay now we’re gonna go a little in and then go down now we’re gonna go to the side and now we’re gonna stop and then we’re gonna go up because this is like kind of an opening I guess in his mouth I don’t know then we’re gonna go to the side

And we’re gonna go down again and we’re gonna basically repeat this side but on this side so we’re gonna go out I’m gonna go a little step like that and then make a diagonal line going all the way up now we’re gonna extend both of these

Lines a little bit and then you can connect it in so that’s the face that’s good now he’s definitely got eyes he’s not just a block no no this might not look like a face yet but just wait for the end it’s amazing so first we’re gonna draw his eye he has

Three eyes actually I I’m not sure of their eyes I think their eyes so we’re gonna make a square over here on the bottomish side okay around the exact opposite side I’m gonna make another so this one will right now kind of looks like a normal Redstone Golem but now I’m

Gonna add the third eye that’s gonna change it up and it’s just in the middle of a rectangle that’s that’s it so now we’re gonna add a little detail on the head thing he has because he’s half Redstone so they’re little red uh Parts in his

Face so we’re gonna add a little line coming down from over here on the top go to the side and now we’re gonna go all the way down here and just connecting to the the third eye over here like just like that it’s a bit tricky to get the alignment

But in the end it’s easy if you do it okay now we’re gonna outline this mouth area so we’re just gonna go ahead and trace it because as I said there are red parts so it needs to look a bit red and we’re gonna just add a few lines

Sticking out because he’s also Stone he’s a red stone so yeah okay and maybe just a line coming like a little tiny line coming out of his eye and yeah okay so I think that’s enough detail for now for the head if we if I think we need to add anything more

We’ll come back to it but for now it’s enough now we’ll do the rest of them out so first over here we will draw two lines coming down from over there okay and now from this side also we do two lines coming down this is for the bottom of his mouth

Actually you know and now we’re gonna connect both of them so make sure that you’re getting a perfect line going across okay so we’re gonna connect it like this okay and now his mouth is really big like his head is almost as big as his arms so

Um we’re gonna add a diagonal line coming out from there we can add it on this side too and over here we’re gonna try and come to the middle but not completely because now over here we have to draw a little shape a lot because when he closes around that thing

Goes up there get it and um over here we’ll just draw a tiny line coming down even from this side and connect okay you can also make a little thing on the side to make it look you can color that in Black because it won’t be seen really

And a part of his tongue there’s a little design I think so you can add I guess two lines coming in the middle and then you can just add a line going all the way across and going into that just to make it look a bit

Like a shadow around the tongue I think yeah okay now we’re gonna draw his big horns he has very large horns so they kind of look like stairs so because they’re blocky so we’re gonna draw from over here a little line coming out and going up and then you can just

Go to the side go all the way down to here make sure the width of this part in this part is similar and go in just try and make it straight okay and now we’re gonna do the other horn exactly the opposite over here make a line coming out go up and up

Go side go down and go back in okay so those are his horns they’re very big so we’re gonna add a few details like they’re a little Stony things sorry um like they’re little squares to make it look like a Stony thing and over here

You can add a little square too and then you can add a few diagonal lines going to the side you know you can add that in different places because that’ll make it look more like a stone thing over here you can do some more squares like it

Does have to be how I’m doing it because it’s actually natural like that that design is really cool okay now we’re gonna go on to his body so his body is kind of behind his head like his head is sticking out of course with his body and the body’s a little

Behind it so uh since we drew it a little diagonal we’re gonna draw the body coming let’s see out of here I think yeah so we’re gonna draw a little line coming out of that okay now we’re gonna draw a huge lion queen all the way down there a little

Across the mouth okay don’t stop here that’ll just look weird then and then we can go across like that that’s a really big body but it actually is my last no joke and we’re gonna go all the way up again and Connect into the horn now the horn

May look a bit uh like it’s connected to the body but later you’ll see when it will do a little shading I think later to make it look that it’s not like the horn is connecting or anything oh I forgot something about the horn we have

To make a look of a 3D too um so we’re gonna add a little line coming out of the back of the of the bottom a little diagonal line then we’re gonna go all the way in so it makes it look a bit more 3D if you see what I

Mean and over here you can do the same okay sure now um we’re gonna do some detail for the body so normally I do the layout for a Minecraft character and then start the detail but this is this guy is very different he’s not just a like a bunch

Of blocks and then designs he has a lot more so because we’ve I don’t think we yeah but watches have a lot more detail than normal mobs so over here gonna start like drawing some Redstone veins I think that’s what it is so from over here we’re gonna start by drawing a line

Coming down make sure there’s a lot of width there but not just him then we’re gonna go in over there okay now beneath that we’re gonna draw another line going in and just stop when you reach the mouth area or if you’re over here just stop there

Then matter if you buy mistake started here it doesn’t really matter but make sure these are kind of aligned because we’re going to draw a similar thing over here okay now from over here we’re gonna start drawing a line coming out and then we’re just gonna go align

Straight into the horn over there okay now we’re gonna draw the bottom layer make sure it’s kind of aligned with this okay and then start drawing a line but here we’re gonna do it in a bit different since it’s the main it doesn’t have to be exactly straight so we’re

Gonna draw a little line coming down to this side and go back up okay and then I’m gonna go to the side again and just connect them to the side because again we need to leave a little bit okay pretty cool I’m liking this at first I thought this would be a hard

Drawing but it’s kind of cool because there’s like layers you know and now we’re gonna start the rest so of the body so this part is a bit interesting it’s like a little inside of his body like a stone thing I’m not sure what it is so I guess we’ll do a little

Detail of the colors to make to make it look like it’s actually some Stone so we’re gonna draw a line coming inside for now another line going that way you’ll see when I finish coloring how it looks and then you can do it too now over here we’re going to do the same

Thing but since it’s a little more open here there’s a little closed because the end of the mount is there but here’s the little open so we’re gonna draw the line coming back beneath but over here we’re gonna draw a few steps to go down go a little down

And just connect there look at that detail is here too but you can’t see it because it’s a little closed here okay now um this is also another kind of redstone vein that he has in his body so over here we’re gonna start by drawing or going up and then to the side

And you can trace that again like just to make it look a bit more thick to make it another way you can we can do the same thing here but this will overlap it so we draw it a bit differently make sure you’re aligning it always so go into the mouth

And since it’s overlapping them out the mouth is overlapping the vein just go down from here and when you’re tracing it back you can do it the way that we did on the other side pretty cool I am really liking this drawing so far okay so now his chest has a bit of

Detail like I think they’re kind of like some uh sturdy things I’m not sure because well they’ve kind of just Stones so hey we’re gonna draw a rectangle a dish so I didn’t explain that very well it’s actually just a line coming down and go to the side and go up because

It’s kind of behind the rectangle be it’s kind of behind the face yeah and now we’re gonna draw some squares I think over here that’s what it is I think so we’re gonna draw a little square and another square right next to that but that one’s a little smaller okay

You can do one square here because we’re not kind of not able to see but you can also do one on the top just for detail and you can add some lines on the bottom to make it look very stormy you’re gonna add the lines actually

Wherever you want it makes it look more Stony and it doesn’t have to be just one straight line you can have a bit of like a step or something yeah yeah like over here I’m gonna add a big one kind of for sure redstoney things cut into the stone

Yeah okay that makes it look cool okay now we’re gonna go on and do the arms he has like huge arms he doesn’t have small ones so um actually in the if you see it from the side of his body he has a huge Redstone thing at the back of him but

Since we’re drawing from the front view you can’t really see that okay so now I’m gonna draw his of course his huge huge um arms so over here we’re gonna start by drawing they’re kind of like the orange they’re big steps that’s first so I’m gonna draw a line coming down from here

Now we’re gonna draw I’m going to the side and now go a little to the side actually and then we’re gonna go up to the side and go up again and now this part is a bit different you’re gonna go in and make sure it’s kind of

Align to that line and then go down so this is over the horn is a lot overlapping the arm which makes it look very three-dimensional and over here we’re gonna draw the rest of the arm we’ll add in the details in just a minute after we finish this part

We’re gonna add a little rectangle sticking out it’s kind of long and you can just draw two lines inside that now this part is huge he has a huge I don’t know if it’s a palm or whatever it is it’s the main part of his hand so

We’re gonna draw a little line coming out in a huge square or a rectangle yeah more of a rectangle but it’s gonna look a lot more huge in a second because it’s kind of more 3D because we need to see some fingers so we’re gonna go down to that

Now from over here you can also go down but don’t go all the way because if you do that it won’t look 3D so you need to draw a diagonal line to make it look similar to that now for the fingers they’re basically like little rectangles and he only has

Three fingers so we’re gonna draw a line coming out and just draw a rectangle out of it and then we’re gonna add a little and going diagonally from there going up and connecting in there as the finger okay now the other fingers are just going to

Be going diagonally in make it look like he’s kind of trying to clench his fist but he can’t because he’s he only has 10 fingers and only three okay now I’m gonna draw two uh fingers so we’re gonna draw one and make sure you’re not going out of this area Okay

So we’re gonna draw one over here tiny rectangle um and for the wait I’m thinking how to make it look more 3D yeah okay so we’re gonna draw as I’m going from here to the side and up and connect and one more over here we’re gonna draw another rectangle

From over here going up and connecting okay pretty cool right now from over here we’re gonna draw lines going straight down and we’re gonna make it look like it’s going through because the fingers are overlapping so it’s going through this and they’re gonna do a little line down

And now we have to connect this so make a huge line going straight to that side okay so that looks actually really cool because it kind of looks like he’s clenching or something he’s like clutching sorry my clenching clutching something yeah okay now we’re gonna draw uh some

Details over here so I’m gonna draw a little square over here for a redstone area I’m gonna draw some more squares over here and over here we can draw a rectangle kind of being overlapped again but I hope you get the contact of the concept of the overlapping now

And yeah you can draw a line between it I guess and then you can draw some cracks inside of the area now over here we have to still make a 3D this big stair part so you can make I guess a line going down like this this

Is the corner area and then it can go just Connect into there and over here you can just draw a diagonal line to make sure that it’s like a rectangle and you can draw a lot more cracks in here if you want the arm is very cracked Pretty cool and maybe just one up there yeah okay now we’re gonna draw the other arm which is basically a copy of the song over here but it’s gonna be cool so we’re gonna draw over here a big line coming out a big link down and to the side again going down

And we’re gonna connect back in there okay now um over here the rectangle is a little less shown so we’re not going to draw the rectangle actually over here this tiny one over here because the this arm is the main part is overlapping it so over here we’re just gonna go ahead and

Draw the big Square thing I’m gonna draw two rectangle uh no sorry dino lines going out connecting back okay and now you can go down from over here I guess yes connect Ed to the diagonal line we’re not going to draw the fingers so we’re gonna draw one big rectangle over

Here small actually and we’re gonna draw a little two tiny lines going down connected in your language and connecting okay now we’re going to draw the other two fingers again it looks kind of like this so we’re gonna draw one rectangle over here we’re gonna draw two lines for this connect them

A little Diamond line and go all the way up so and then the other one over here a rectangle and the same thing as this two lines going down connecting you’re enjoying all this it’s kind of like a prison prison not prison prison yeah and we’re gonna draw now a language

All the way across so first we’re gonna Connect into that finger then go and connect it to that finger and now from over here I’m gonna bring it down over there and we don’t have to do more because the the other finger is overlapping the connection over there

Okay now we’re gonna draw the Redstone parts so we’re gonna draw one over here one over here and one over here and we’re gonna draw one rectangle shape here you can draw a line between it it’s kind of like a rock then you can draw a

Bunch of cracks like over here just to show that he’s still a stone over there he’s not changing and maybe up here here and over here you also you can add maybe one Redstone part oh we forgot to do detailed here too you can add some

Redstone Parts I guess in places and you can add cracks like we did up there foreign yeah there’s some lines around the place That’s just gonna take one second guys yeah okay you can do a similar thing you don’t have to draw the exact same but you can feel like it and um we can now draw a rectangle now we’re gonna draw the legs now finally the hands took a long time so we’re going to

Draw a line going down then we’re gonna draw it going across and then connect up so this part the detail is going to be kind of extra if he’s very Stoney over here you can actually see like the Cobblestone and stuff and now I’m gonna draw his legs so we’re

Gonna draw a little line going down from over here connecting and his legs are not particularly big which is kind of a funny part his legs are tiny and he’s and I don’t know how he’s balancing that whole redstone on him with his tiny legs so we’re gonna draw another language up

So an easier words is just a square so you can do it here too but there’s a tiny bit like of uh overlapping and stuff you know what I mean I’m not actually just connecting it like a square and um okay now it’s time for this Tony part

This is a really cool part I thought of this drawing so we’re gonna draw a little like um line going up from over here and just like draw some steps you know so this kind of shape is going to be repeated a lot in this kind of Stony area so we’re

Gonna draw another one of these shapes they’re just like stairs but just connecting into a big ones like just a circle made of stairs actually and we’re gonna do a big one over here just like this a shape made of the stairs you can do it in this corner you don’t

Have to follow this actually it’s very um you can do it however you want to draw one on the top over here and they can be in every one every of them can be in different shapes and sizes okay okay I think that’s enough I’m gonna draw a few more because inside of

This is all gonna be red like a redstone and these big shapes are actually the rocks they’re connected okay now we can draw more of them over here this maybe one down here and you can do it however you want I think I’m gonna draw like a few on the

Sides too because that makes it look like it’s everywhere from the top that should do it guys and in here too we can add a few of these shapes just because it’s connected to the legs okay pretty cool stuff guys I’m really liking this drawing it’s turned out to me amazing

So we can add some lines if you want in places yeah I’m just trying to add details I’m not really doing anything else and there we have it guys we’re just gonna check if we need any more details I don’t think so guys we finished drawing the Redstone

Monstrosity and just look at him he is really a monstrosity so I really like this drawing we might have made a tiny mistake here because it was so confusing with all the fingers and stuff but we did well I think guys it turned out to be such a good drawing

And well I thought it was going to be hard but it was pretty easy and this lesson I will say is for a little um harder um it’s a little hard so if you um if you want to tell someone else to draw it make sure they want to and they

Are up for it because it’s a bit long and hard but now we have to do the coloring guys so it’s nowhere near from done yet but the best part is to come but luckily they’re not too many colors the base colors are just red and I guess

Gray and some kind of Shades of gray and red too because there’s a lot of shading or maybe a yellow for the eyes so yeah I’m gonna be fast forwarding the coloring and I’ll see you at the end where you can pause the video and do the

Same coloring as I did or you can also do your own coloring I’m gonna use oh markers layout thing over here and I’m going to start coloring guys in three two one go Okay guys so I forgot one small thing we still just have to do one small detail over here which is a 3D thing uh for this big arm area we just have to draw one line and that’s it I just wanted to say so that you notice it and you don’t

Miss out okay I’m gonna continue the coloring foreign The Redstone Golem and it looks so amazing right I mean don’t you agree so this color actually in the camera light might look like white but it’s actually a very light gray so just so you know and I think the Redstone Golem turned out really well I really like how

Everything turned out the colors are amazing of course the Redstone areas you can see are red of course and they’ve highlighted I mean like darkened the Shaded shaded areas and like this part is fully dark because under his horns and his arms so it’s covered by darkness
