Well today we have an excellent show for you all we are going to be sitting here for the next hour and taking questions from all of you uh about the dream smp basically anything you want to ask any of us and now you may think you know who’s coming out

Here tonight but let me tell you there are some surprise guests and in a second we’re going to be bringing everybody out now before we start i am going to mention something really quickly because at the end of the day there’s always some corporate stuff if you guys don’t feel like speaking

Happened was on december 11th 2020 your new boyfriend came out i remember that day no but what happened was i was so stoked i was i was watching the video i was watching the premiere of the video sick the part where so yeah you’ve met jared yeah i’ve met jared comes up

15 seconds later jared who hasn’t texted me in nine months text me back all i can say is i’m sorry no no no no no no he he didn’t have any contact for nine months and he finally got to me 15 seconds after you mentioned jared that was my fault

Long does it take you guys to write stories like how long in advance do you guys like is it just last minute that’s really dependent i would say really depends on what it is but i mean you guys have more experience than me please yeah so i remember like getting home

From college and then willard like send a treatment i don’t know how far back you plan that but sometimes like a lot of the major story plot points everyone is looking at a lot of the major storyboard points uh we change probably like a few hours beforehand and like go

Through it with everyone in a call and be like right do we get like this i’m sorry like hours before stream yeah yeah like the the uh the minutes sometimes minutes the bit where dream killed me that was like we came up with that idea like an hour stream

But don’t tell anyone potentially just the most consequential thing that happened in the whole server by the way but that’s okay we have a general structure to a lot of the scripts and a lot of it’s still improv as well so yeah it’s very very flexible to see how we uh

Play the different characters and how situations unfold through the improv as well i think it’s also person to person as well like i know when i did my law stuff it was entirely unscripted and everything was situational because i know in my case what i would always do is come up with something

Based off of the main sort of thing that just happened to like say tom gets killed i go okay i’m gonna go live and react to it uh so it’s like some things are completely unscripted as well it’s probably sorry i didn’t mean to scare you um some things that get like

Completely unscripted like all together yeah that’s like most of my dialogue is completely unscripted i sort of just show up um we um but like for example the um the prison break stream when when that was being planned they were like yeah like we’re gonna like dream’s gonna get broken in prison

Or something and then i just kind of type in there because i check in every once in a while and i get a discord note i was like yeah what if i was like in the prison and then dream was pretty immediately like he’s like yes we’re doing like you

Yep that for sure and then i scripted nothing i didn’t show up for any sort of like rehearsal and then i just was there and that’s how it goes yes i think ultimately as much as we like to craft a good story pretty much all of us

Are driven by what is funniest all the time someone in the crowd is driven by humor apparently and i was made very aware of it you’re green you know what you you know what i think we moved up yeah you are green it’s intriguing me please give her a microphone

Guys just so you know dream is also green so this makes sense is that dream wait really that might be i did say dream might be oh okay the reason why i’m green is because i’m let very larryboy from veggietales that’s my cosplay oh i got the belt buckles iconic all here

I’m anime girl larryboy no i love that but what i was saying was the doing what’s funniest that’s my life motto i am driven by is this gonna be funny yes i’m doing it so i agree with you thank you so i have two things of course

Um my first question the second question is like a half question but the first question is what is the weirdest times that you’ve had to like go to bed get up whatever for times for streaming lore when you’re streaming with like some people in england and some people and like the

West coast or the east coast like what’s the craziest time you had to get up at like like 3 am or whatever what’s your crazy story for that also eric did you like my clip-on earrings do you send me clip-on errors yeah that was me i do i love those

I didn’t know if you had your ears pierced so i was like i’ll send both i’m guessing them first soon but yes that is my question yes uh does anyone have an answer i have an answer he says with confidence to the crowd um listen one two

Was quite difficult for me i got there on time 10 minutes late had to shower first but that was a challenge if tobo is not currently in the public eye he’s in bed just just so you know he’s either streaming or sleeping i spent probably 70 percent of my time in

Like you fought dream or something oh yeah yeah yeah we were all supposed to like be a part of that i think or something like everybody gets this little stream there i wouldn’t know because i slept through it i didn’t know but yeah so what kind of answers there is a level

I find in the dream recipe of like we’re doing this in 30 minutes be there and like you just have to like i remember i’ve been eating meals i’ve been like out and they’ve just been like no you get on stream now and like it’s there is a level of disorganization

But anyway oh you have something to say i have something that’s cool i would say um probably the biggest like stream time thing that i’ve had to do was i had to him and don’t do this by the way okay just pre-warning don’t do this i um I basically had to lie and say that my internet wasn’t working for like three of my classes so i could stream a really important lower event so uh i believe i had i had apparently the most unstable internet in my school because i missed

Like a good like 30 of all of my classes when that was happening don’t do that don’t cheer for that okay yeah that was only gonna make it worse really yeah also hannah did you just point at purple yeah purple also has probably missed a lot of school for lore

Uh i remember i think it was a mr beast like a hundred thousand remember he hit that on the server one point i think i had just started a class um online class at that time and you know mr b jimmy he he if he wants something to happen it’s

Going to happen then right he’s punctual man um i had to leave i i had to leave i would i had to go look for that taco bell gift card something like that like 50 000 taco bell gift card i still have those gift cards i have several thousand dollars of taco

Bell gift cards which i don’t know what to do with do they ever expire i just have them they don’t expire no okay maybe i’ll give my free taco bell we’re eating taco bell after the panel is what i’ve basically just heard um which maybe

Character to kind of get into character before stream uh if there is anything it’s kind of just an open-ended thing that uh people are curious about hello tommy you can go first i guess i shall yeah when i start streaming i have like all my little notes i’ll reveal a dream

Smp secret on like a little google doc like on my side tab just under my donations i sit and read and when i’ve got like my starting soon that counts down i listen to like the saddest like music and i just yes and i’m just looking like yeah yes yes

I’m sad yes yes yes my characters yes yes and then i get into it what about you will uh i i i i i find it quite sort of natural to slip into character uh especially especially in the le manburg era i feel like me and tommy kind of already have

That dynamic uh i’m going to pass over to phil who is just going to phil you don’t stab me every time you want to get into character do you hope i’m getting told off after this um i mean i don’t really do that much either i just kind of like read the scripts

Like play it out in my heads like with you with you send me scripts and stuff i’ll just be like i’ll read it in your voice in my head and kind of like okay like that’s assistant i do i genuinely do and i just go into it but

A lot of the time it is just sort of natural like i don’t have like a song i play i don’t have like anything any sort of like things i say in my head i’m like i’m gonna do this no i just follow the scripts try to do my best try

To get emotional when it needs to be but that’s about it and yet you always fail okay mister i’m gonna do five streams with phil and then give up on the second we’re revealing the plans the vet discord what happened to that training my defense sapnap is very hard to schedule around

He’s very busy have you seen we’re up there by the way oh yeah there is a camera yeah did you not realize stop looking at yourself on the camera yeah that’s it next question hello hi um well i don’t i haven’t really done very much law but i normally get a document

And it’s very long and i don’t read it and then tom puts into bullet points for me so that works well it’s like it says things like be sad now in the most recent stream i did with tommy he put he put a very specific uh notation in it which said funny mode

Ends here which i re which i did really like all right so i haven’t done too much lore uh a lot of it has just consisted of my house getting blown up after i accidentally started are you kidding me you’re actually going to love my house first

Okay well that wasn’t part of the script uh to get rid of the electro but it just gonna happen i really wanted to steal that ally by the way i really yeah yeah don’t even get me started on the electrode but i mean for me a lot of my

Lures done with awesome dude and so we just kind of like go over like google docs and all that kind of stuff um but yeah it really just kind of is just kind of like natural and uh just like go with the flow kind of thing

Uh yeah i guess i have a pretty unique point of view right now because i’m the newest person so Thank you uh so i was actually gonna say i haven’t really done anything yet but actually i have also blown up boomer’s house already [Applause] so i guess i accidentally leaned into that one uh and then i actually i think i just blew some stuff up with punk as well i think

All i’ve done is just destroy stuff but that’s isn’t that the point isn’t that just isn’t it isn’t that what laura is isn’t that just every law he’s new he’s new please yeah i’m learning but all i know is destruction good friendship bad [Applause] go for it the left-hand side you’ve said

Nothing yeah yeah um i mean i’ve been involved with couple things with quackity and alex practice isn’t here right now so i’ll kind of i guess speak on his behalf because he kind of um you know he’s not like he tells me what to do but he he’s he’s he

Has a very unique sort of law where it is is the most planned yeah everyone exactly yeah yeah so um there have been times before that he sends me like a music file and just says like he’s listen to this listen to this while we’re doing this and i do um you know

Because it’s not as live right it’s a lot there’s a lot of like there’s a lot of editing yeah yeah so um there’ll be times where you know we kind of like walk through like okay you’re going to walk from here to here you’re going to do this you’re

Going to do this it would take a couple takes um and then of course the music that we’re listening to in the background isn’t even in the stream or in the recording we’re just doing that to kind of get into the mental space because certain like you know ost and

Certain songs just kind of like put you in the spot where you want to be and then you just kind of go for it but his is a lot different because this isn’t nearly as live as you know some other exactly no when i did the stuff for

Tails i found that that was a completely different experience to doing all the live stuff because obviously me and kyle the bit i did was was purely pre-recorded because i did the um yeah the other side stuff and it’s it’s a really different experience where like

There’s a lot more freedom to try things because yes you don’t have to nail it first time which is really weird because usually you would yeah yeah it’s also it almost makes you be more of a perfectionist you retake multiple times i don’t know if you had that experience

Yeah no no i did as well totally like do a lot of retake retake retake and i know um quacky does uh he still has this this take of the time that my ufo got blown up um and i don’t know when he wants to post that

If he ever wants to share that but there’s a very very funny take that wasn’t supposed to happen um and i hope he shares that at some point because i really would like everyone to see that any details any details you’re going to share no none okay very helpful no it’ll be a

Surprise bro it’ll be on the blu-ray release of dreams yeah yeah it’ll be like the extra scenes in the dvd when you get it oh when the dvd drops yeah please buy it yeah so for me contrary to most people here my my go-to thing to

Get in the character is to pretty much just turn my brain off uh it’s it’s kind of what i do the more mindless i am the more like my character i feel i am i suppose i guess that’s what they’ve become how would you describe c conor then in one word lost

The way i do lore i mean i don’t do many lorch well i did one live stream where i just turned on the stream and did nothing for five hours where i left the house and i was just sitting there recently that’s my only lore stream so when i do laura i

Just go on other people’s streams and i always just try to like look at their chat and kind of make it better from the actual stream’s perspective because i don’t need to record it myself um and so the way i’d go about it is just kind of bouncing off

What it seems going to happen and how things go about in that regard um again just to try to add humor to it awesome um with my character it’s it’s been more it’s iterative process sort of trying to find my character’s uh inspiration and drive is wanting to do the right thing

At all times maybe with an exception of a certain betrayal um but it’s trying to do the right thing trying to make sure people are okay and i don’t feel that that’s too different from my normal way of doing things so it makes it fairly easy um for me in the

Beginning of like new lemon burger i would say that i didn’t really have to get into character because i remember seeing like when i was like looking through like what people were saying about like my first like lore stream interacting with people just like wow it’s it’s so funny that he has a

Favorite parts of streaming is of course the community but don’t believe him he’s sucking up more specifically i absolutely adore the fan art which comes from the community it is so creative um you get to see your character how you visualize it in your mind doing so many really cool

Things and it’s absolutely phenomenal the sheer amount of fan art which comes out of this community so thank you yeah i mean for me what i love about streaming is there’s just a rhythm when i’m having a good stream where like i see the chat reacting well and the whole

Reason i do it is i like to make people laugh i like to make people a good time and to see that spread online is really cool because when i was in high school and dealt with a lot of stuff that kept me inside not at school and stuff uh

That was where i escaped to it was twitch and youtube stuff like that and so to see uh stuff that i do bring that to other people is really really cool [Applause] whoever wants to answer it there is you’re all welcome trust me you can you can go favorite thing about streaming um

What’s my favorite thing uh i think my favorite thing Is definitely planning like fun streams with you guys i love streaming with you guys it’s so fun um stuff with friends like not even on just the dream smp but like jack box streams or bed wars or you know things like that i love that so [Applause] yeah i think the best part of streaming like i mean obviously i’ve gotten into the rhythm where um when i first started twitch i was already on youtube for a bit when i started twitch that was pretty much right when i joined the dream smp and that was my rhythm for a

While but um over the last you know however however long year or two i’ve kind of found my own rhythm and then from there i do my regular thing and then like you said like those streams were just like the unexpected like i remember one time you were like playing

Fortnite and then tubo joined out of nowhere yeah just like stuff like that where we’re just hanging out we’re literally just friends like playing games or friends hanging out um it makes you forget that you’re even streaming and then everyone else if you you’re just having fun with your friends

Everyone else is having fun watching it you know i’m gonna be a bit serious i’m gonna answer on behalf of wilbur wilbur’s favorite bit of streaming is streaming with me he told me sort of like your hero in many ways uh he can you can answer on behalf of me i hate you

Can i answer seriously what i like the most no you say no film uh my favorite thing about streaming is probably just being able to hit start streaming like the go live button and then immediately make people see like better like and that’s that’s why i always try to

Have the schedule so i’m just always there at that time that felt very targeted he looked at me he was targeted at everyone on the panel but phil in fairness i think everyone else is just any of you guys have a schedule i know something yeah you guys aren’t never mind okay

My favorite thing about streaming is probably i like really like looking at the individual chat messages because it feels very special to me to see that people have taken time out of their day to send a single message like because behind every message is a person you can

Imagine someone either typing on a phone or a keyboard and that just blows my mind completely [Applause] i’m sorry mine’s somewhat similar to filz’s it’s like when i go live and i see regulars in the chat every single day it’s like having a consistent group of friends and

Also i mean getting the chance to meet all of you i mean you guys have been so wonderful and some of you become lifelong friends so i’m just very thankful for all of you guys and the opportunity and i’ve been doing it now for like 10 years since 2011. [Applause]

I want to add on to that too that like what’s really cool about all this is that everybody really is friends the entire server and when it comes to streaming especially i think when you’re just a youtuber you can kind of manipulate how you’re viewed but but streaming is very much like

It’s hard to fake like being a cool person or like a likable person and so what you see is what you get with most people and that’s something i noticed around all of twitch and streaming but especially here with these people vouch [Applause] i think the thing that i like the most

About streaming is probably all the messages that i get about people finding out who they are about themselves or just finding out who they are in general uh people like coming out in my chat or just being a part of the community in general like just means a lot to me

And that’s probably like one of my very favorite things about it is just helping people out like that uh yeah i think for me uh especially streaming and the dream smp side i went from being like as someone who watched the dream smp lore streams to someone who now

Gets to be in some of them which is very cool um and uh also he’s not here but uh i get on so well with ponk like i spent that’s right so uh the big thing is me and ponk scream at really similar times but he would like essentially exclusively

Stream the dream snp so now i can actually play games with my friends so it’s so cool [Applause] it’s nice that everyone had such great answers i really like genuinely heartwarming answers by the way mine by by the way is is just money it’s just

Money i may i make a killing off of all of you a killing incredibly rich and it’s your so thank you no uh no if i’m answering honestly uh genuinely speaking uh it’s it’s amazing to have a like every single day i can wake up and i have full creative freedom over

Whatever i choose to do that day uh and people sit there and enjoy it and it’s so nice to do stuff and and people enjoy it just because it’s you like people like come to see you and it’s so rewarding and it makes you feel so valued um

Just just seeing people show up to the most obscure stuff like if i do an obscure stream and people show up that’s more rewarding than like anything else so i it really is something i’m grateful for we only have five minutes left by the way so this is closing thoughts but
