this is Minecraft but you probably
already knew that this is Hardcore where
if you die it’s game over but you
probably already knew that too what you
didn’t know is this is ultra Hardcore in
this mode if you die it’s game over but
there is a twist natural health regen
has been turned off and if I want to
heal I need either to find instant
health potions or craft suspicious do
with the regen effect or golden apples
let’s see how this
goes and this is not great we spawned in
a desert as you can probably see this
was not good deserts typically have the
least amount of resources and this was
no exception sure we found a desert
pyramid right away but with no trees we
had no way to make tools and with no
tools I wasn’t about to punch my way
down fortunately though we had a village
in ass Savannah nearby where we could
grab a few resources including wheat
bread pumpkins and a bit of armor and a
tree so we managed to make a couple of
tools and headed down into the pyramid
where we got quite a few good resources
and fortunately there was no creeper
there to blow me up after we quickly
tried to abandon The Forsaken landscape
and moved on things did not go so well
as I made some not so smart decisions
like not paying attention to my air
while underwater or jumping down cliffs
when maybe I should have just walked
down them I did manage to find some cool
things like a mangrove swamp and a
couple of sunken ships and broken Nether
Portals the the portals really didn’t
have anything good after a bit I got
distracted talking to chat during a
stream and nearly lost my life who a
drowned with the Trident oh gosh
no go dang it if I hadn’t seen my boat
break I would have been a goner but with
half my life remaining I continued on
hoping for the best and that is when
when I found a treasure Trove a massive
cave with piles of gold and coal as far
as the eye could see the only thing
standing in my way was a creeper I
figured it’d be best to leave it alone
for the time being and moved
on that is when I found a Grove of oak
trees on top of the Badlands biome and
knew this was where I was going to
settle
because apples okay so apples may not
sound like a super great resource
especially when compared to cows or
sheep but heck let me tell you this was
the greatest find of the world so far
after Gathering an apple or two and
setting up a quick base I ventured down
to the cave where the creeper had been
and mined up as much gold and coal as I
felt safe doing then headed back out to
quickly set up a furnace and smelted the
gold while I spent a bit of time trying
to find more apples then I made a couple
of golden apples and got some health
regen going and this was a sweet relief
before the storm I went out venturing
around my area and found an abandoned
mine shaft sticking out of the ground
where I grabbed some fun resources from
a minecart chest and I headed into a
nearby cave to mine some gold and iron I
should have been watching where I was
going because a creeper came out of
nowhere and uh tried to blow me
up there was an actual creeper ah
fortunately I still had resistance from
a golden apple so I was fine just you
know experiencing heart palpitations
anyways I gathered up a bit more iron
and gold and I decided I should get
started on shelter and thought about
what kind of build I wanted to make you
know nothing too fancy after all it’s
just the beginning I decided I’d search
out some sheep and get some wool to
maybe build a small tent so that’s when
I went on an adventure and found a
village with a camel which I
appropriately named Steven while in the
village I managed to grab a couple of
villagers too for future use of course
and I rated the chest for a few more
items like bread and yeah just mostly
bread Stephen and I went further out
adventuring but I decided that sheep
were not going to be easy to get back to
our base so I came up with a quick plan
to die terracotta and make a tent
structure out of that I thought that was
a genius idea so I spent 20
unnecessary minutes looking for flowers
only to realize that I could mine terra
cotta that is red already once we got
back I got right to work with mining
terra cotta for the build and making the
frame for our tent the frame was not
easy and went through multiple
iterations but I finally got it done and
I like the tent as our starter base it’s
definitely simple and has few
decorations around the place I used a
bit of iron to make a lantern and added
a nice campsite and some convenient
storage around the place I put my beds
on the floor to make them look kind of
like sleeping bags but the effect feels
a little lost I tried to add a little
extra light around the area to keep mobs
out but this didn’t quite work as you’ll
see a little bit later after setting up
the shelter I decided it’d be a good
idea to go mining for some gold to stock
up on golden apples since mushrooms and
oxide daisies were nowhere to be found
and instant health potions are only
found in the end but before I went
mining I decided to stock up on a bit of
food and got some apples from a farmer
mostly because the oak trees were not
producing apples fast enough fortunately
this gave me the opportunity to set up a
bit of a wheat farm and get started on
some food once I got the apples and food
I needed to head down to the mines I
descended into the nearby cave things
went well for the most part I gathered a
bunch of iron and gold and coal but the
lower I got the more dangerous things
were becoming I tried lighting up the
area as much as I could but skeletons
almost got the best of me multiple
times zombies and creepers kept sneaking
up too so I decided to build a base camp
and put up a wall that kept mobs from
jumping in on me and began smelting up
what gold I could unfortunately though
the area I was in was particularly
dangerous and every time I ventured out
I’d end up using the golden apples that
I just made so I was netting about zero
apples not good I decided to stop
adventuring out and just stock up on
golden apples once I got all that
settled I headed out and ventured lower
into the mines trying to find tunnels
rather than wide open space bases I ran
into a lot of dangerous things along the
way and got into some sticky situations
but I managed to find more gold and more
iron and even got some diamonds Redstone
and Lapis Lazuli I managed to make a
diamond pick and decided it’d be best to
go ahead and grab some
obsidian this took
forever I miss my efficiency 5
picks getting out was even worse I had
to go back through some of the open
areas and as I tried to get home it was
night time and it was amazingly
wonderful that skeletons noticed me
after my shield had broken I made it
back home but that was still not the end
of it zombies attacked me and got me low
on health and a creeper came at me and
blew up part of my house it was a
disaster I was able to catch a few Z’s
however and slept peacefully while Mr
farmer guy watched me sleep kind of
creepy if you ask me turn around or
something dude it’s bad enough I have
monsters trying to kill me then I woke
up and took stock of what I had realized
I was out of time for this video and
here we are see you next time when we
build a gold Farm gold it’s kind of a
big deal it is necessary to make golden
apples and golden apples are necessary
for me to be able to regenerate Health
when I lose it since I am playing
hardcore with no health regen I’ve got
to get a good source of gold
to make golden apples the best way I
know to do that is to make a farm
unfortunately I don’t have all the tools
I need the main one being a pck
enchanted with silk touch I found a
chest with a book in it a while back but
I was being chased by mobs so I ended up
leaving it behind with the plan to come
back for it I’ve forgotten where it is
so I spent 20 minutes running around
looking for the chest but to no avail
I’m just going to have to hope that I
get lucky with silk touch from an
enchantment table speaking of which I
can make the table but I have no nowhere
near enough books to complete the setup
I’m going to need to go out and being at
half Health this could be bad before I
headed out I grabbed some sugar cane and
planted it along the shore near my base
then I ran off through the nearby desert
and found another Village I stole their
hay and a bed but decided they probably
didn’t have anything else I needed and I
just moved on out I grabbed extra
sugarcane as I went but when I got to
the place where I expected cows to be I
was wrong so I built a boat and began
sailing away hoping to find a good
source of leather nearby on the way I
saw a sunken ship and I decided to loot
it to see if there was anything good the
first chest I opened was great lots of
iron some lapis and even some emeralds
but I didn’t get out of there quick
enough and began to drown half a heart
is a terrifying place to be so I made it
to a jungle and grabbed some bamboo
still at half a heart and trying to make
a plan of what I needed to do that is
when I turned around and saw it another
portal underwater with gold blocks not
just one but two that was perfect but it
was underwater which was only a problem
until someone in chat reminded me about
using doors to breathe underwater we
grabbed our two gold blocks and we
headed back to shore took a quick nap
and crafted up two golden apples the
anxiety subsided a touch so I made the
brave or perhaps incredibly stupid
decision to run through the jungle I
hope to find either cows or gold here
but only found things like aelia trees
and hallucinations also can I just say
that water logging leaves is the worst
thing to happen to Minecraft I mean it’s
nice for building but it ruined my water
bucket
MLG oh come on fortunately not much
later I found at least one of the things
I was looking for cows so I went on a
cow unal living spree and gathered all
the leather I needed then we headed home
and hoped we’d find some gold on the way
no dice though in in fact random chance
I floated my boat right over a puffer
fish and back down to half a heart I
went I thought so many times that my
world was ending so as we arrived on my
home Island I made a stop by a cave to
hopefully grab a couple bits of gold I
let it smelt and while I did that I made
our enchantment table and bookshelves
then I made a golden apple and got some
regen going in an effort to keep the
Good Vibes going I headed down our
mountain and started making a strip mine
to Gold level we got down to that level
pretty quick fought off several mobs and
got to mining this was the best mining
trip I could have hoped for we found so
many great resources like a bit of gold
really less than I hoped for but enough
to help out plenty of iron and Lapis and
I kid you not we found so many diamonds
after spinning a while on the mines I
decided to try to head back up to the
surface and I ended up back in one of
the caves I had visited before however I
noticed a ton of gold in the ceiling so
I precariously scaffolded around the
ceiling mining gold and it was worth it
I ended up getting a bunch of gold which
will be great for future apples then I
noticed it was night time and I hid out
in a little safety area I had previously
created until the sun came up then I
headed back home started smelting up the
gold I had collected and began setting
up an enchantment area I quickly
realized that while I had enough leather
for the books I was pretty low on sugar
canane so I ran out and grabbed a bit
more from the area around my base once I
got back I crafted up all the books and
bookshelves I needed and placed them
around my enchantment table that is of
course after causing a bit of
deforestation don’t worry I’ll plant the
trees back uh
eventually I got the last few levels I
needed from the farmer villager I had
captured earlier and ran off to enchant
my pick hoping for silk touch no dice
but we did get a pretty solid pick so it
wasn’t worth the rrolling I ran back
down the mountain was able to find the
silk touch book and threw it on my pick
with an anvil that I had crafted and now
I have a brand new silky pick if you
have an awesome dirt rated pun for a
silk touch pick leave it in the comments
I’ll name this pick after the best one
now it was go time I crafted up a quick
armor stand and placed all my old iron
armor on it while I crafted some shiny
new blue armor from the diamonds I had
managed to collect earlier I look so
good I briefly looked at my iron armor
in appreciation for keeping me alive
thus far and decided it was high time to
add some more security measures in my
tint and added some fences at either
side of the entrances this was a
brilliant idea thank you James Ellis for
making me think of it it was finally go
time I ran off in search of turtle eggs
and along the way mined a bunch of coal
and iron from a Stony Beach nearby no
turtles were in the immediate vicinity
so I found a boat I had made previously
and sailed a bit across the ocean to
locate the jolly green reptiles I mean
look at them aren’t they just adorable
okay maybe not so adorable in Minecraft
once I found some they weren’t very
cooperative and never made as many eggs
as I wanted in one go well after a while
I managed to make off with two turtle
eggs and had to get the rest of my
materials ready for the gold Farm before
I got too far I decided to go ahead and
make a portal to the nether and see
where we were and what we’d need to do
next it was an interesting spawn
sheltered and quiet which was nice but
it’s the nether it was also very
unnerving and not the biome I needed to
be in so I went back to the Overworld to
gather a few more materials to get
things ready I went back down into the
caves and mines to grab all the obsidian
I needed and it was a mob Fest down
there I was first ambushed by a ragtag
group of skeletons that somehow managed
to hit me through my shield and then as
I was mining obsidian zombies kept
coming out of nowhere while down there I
managed to find a bit more gold which
was amazing amazing then I hit the beach
to get sand because somehow I needed an
insane amount of glass for this build
and then I ran around my base crafting
any remaining items needed for the farm
again with a little more deforestation
it’s all being used very intentionally
guys don’t worry once we had everything
we popped back into the nether only to
realize I was wrong we didn’t have
everything we needed we still needed an
ender pearl but I must have hit some
kind of Lucky streak because there was
an Enderman nearby and once I killed him
he even dropped a nice present of an
ender pearl for me then I explored a bit
to find another waste biome and once
again I was extremely lucky because one
was nearby and we strolled on in I felt
a little exposed but I went ahead and
towered up to the ceiling and began
digging out an area that I needed for a
nice large spawn chamber for some zombie
Piggies by the way this Farm design is
by enx A4 it’s an absolutely brilliant
Farm designed to get you a ton of gold
and XP and it’s fairly accessible early
game so long as you have at least a
diamond pick with silk touch once we
created half the spawn area we popped
down a nice nether portal and then
finished digging out the spawn area let
me just say the entire time I was
digging this out I was stressing that my
pick was going to break it got down to
its last legs and I was so worried on
top of that we had a couple of close
calls with Mobs as they crossed in front
of me while I was trying to break blocks
I was really very close to losing this
world next was the most scary part of
the whole thing at least at that point
that’s what I thought I had to locate a
Bedrock block at y 127 and then ladder
up to it and try to pop through with an
ender pearl if I didn’t do this exactly
right I was going to be suffocated in
and lose the world but fortunately we
made it so we towered up really high
into the can you call this a sky and
built our unal living platform and entry
portals one for me to come through and
one for them to meet their end through
everything was fairly straightforward at
this point but what I didn’t think about
was the fact that I had not slept in
several days and while I was working on
the transfer portals in the Overworld I
was attacked by Phantoms and knocked off
my absurdly high platform yet again I
was incredibly fortunate and fell into
the ocean so no damage was taken I just
had to use some extra blocks which was a
bit frustrating I finished up the farm
and it worked
flawlessly the only issue was the fact
that my entry portal was under the ocean
in a cave with no easy way out yay oh
and and the thing with my pick I
mentioned earlier yeah it’s it’s even
worse now it’s just a few blocks from
breaking I spent a bit of time building
an area to be safe in and and I did a
bit of thinking I decided to go ahead
and mine my way out and hope for the
best and after all if I needed a new
silk touch pick it was going to be
fairly easy to get now that the farm was
built but I didn’t have any issues and I
managed to get back home and Enchanted a
new diamond pick and got fortune 3 on my
first go so I mined up my extra Diamond
orb blocks and made every tool I needed
except for the home and I gathered up my
enchantment area and headed back to the
gold farm with some extra blocks I
quickly set up an enchanting area in the
gold farm and got to work farming gold
and XP enchanting and re-enchanting
armor bits and tools and then I was done
I headed back home and trimmed up my
armor with some trims I had found and
now I’m styling with a beautiful stack
of golden apples villagers you love them
and you hate them they’re both the most
OP thing in Minecraft and the worst
thing to deal with villagers get you
rare items enchantments and blocks all
for a few measly little green rocks that
you can get easily with just a hand full
of sticks and some watermelons but
they’re also the most annoying thing to
work with because they have a mind of
their own oh don’t get me wrong I think
villagers are not very smart at all cuz
they don’t follow me for anything and I
can’t use leads on them they only go to
their job blocks about half the time and
then only to their beds at night time
don’t even get me started on other
methods of moving them you’ve got rails
and boats one is material intensive and
the other just depends on villager AI
too much that’s why I upgraded the
villagers in my Minecraft world to be
able to fit in my pocket so what does
one do with the pocket full of villagers
well certainly not keep them there
that’s just a waste of inventory space
and don’t even get me started on wanting
that update oh yangang please no I’ve
got to put them in a safe place a place
where I can guarantee their safety and
make sure I can find them easily
whenever I want or need their
what better thing than to stuff a whole
load of villagers into a castle you see
villagers have Villages but they aren’t
safe and even their bodyguards don’t
really keep them safe also Villages are
just ugly so let’s make something
beautiful and stuff them in as tight as
I can so I can get everything I need or
want and it can’t be here this Mesa was
great forting getting started the large
quantities of Gold Everywhere were nice
but now I’m losing my touch with the
aesthetic but if I’m going to shove
villagers in a castle I’m going to need
quite a few materials to get started I’m
going to need villagers some Gunpowder
some paper and I’m going to need to get
a better method of
transportation so I spent the next
several hours Gathering resources and
building Farms I really turn this place
from something
ugly to something horrendous I kidnapped
a couple of villagers from the village
down the hill and forced them to make me
some friends yeah let’s let’s go with
that which you know they honestly they
didn’t seem to mind then in addition to
all that I threw up some other Farms a
sugarcane farm man let me tell you the
bad lands really ruins the look of sugar
cane then I added a creeper Farm maybe
you see where I’m going with this and
then I threw in an iron Farm it was a
new type of iron farm for me and it was
super easy thanks to voltrox for the no
zombie iron farm it’s amazing the iron
farm was really just a bonus I threw
together because it’s a basic need and I
had a bit of extra time on my hands then
I decided to go for the best method of
travel in game but in order to do that I
needed a few extra materials and to risk
my entire world for this one item I was
going to need some blaze rods and ender
pearls from the nether so to the nether
we went I found a fortress relatively
quickly thank God and was able to after
navigating The Fortress for a hot
minute okay fine I was able to gather
enough blaze rods for what I wanted the
tricky part was getting the ender pearls
I had no idea where a warped forest was
and piglins sure weren’t being any help
either so I spent a while wandering
around the nether hoping to avoid danger
or overcome it gests really aren’t as
scary as they used to be maybe it’s
because I invested in prop 4 diamond
armor or because I really wasn’t
bridging around that much but after
about 30 minutes I finally stumbled into
a massive warped Forest where I was able
to quickly get the ender pearls I needed
and then I headed out of the nether but
even with the coordinates of my return
portal saved I still had some trouble
with getting turned around after I made
it out it was time to head to the end
for our elytra I shoved the in pearls
and blaze powder together and went and
search of the end portal I expected a
long journey but the stronghold was
literally right underneath my Mountain I
explored the stronghold a bit found the
portal and a library got a bit of
treasure nothing really too fancy and
then I went to the end well here goes
nothing I bridged over from my obsidian
platform and took aim at the end
crystals and of course I never missed a
shot
[Music]
then the dragon went down without too
much
trouble and it was a hop skip and a jump
to the other side of the end without
even much time I found my first city but
uh it didn’t have what I needed so I
continued on and then it still wasn’t
too much time until I found another
couple of cities and both of these had
in ships with elytra so I fought my way
through one bridged across the void
which was very scary no floated over the
ship which was considerably even more
scary and fortunately landed in the Mast
I was able to get in and get my elytra I
celebrated for just a few seconds and
then flew over to the other City grabbed
a backup elytra and I went home now I
had everything I needed to get started
since this is ultra Hardcore I decided
it’d be best to be pretty close to my
gold farm so making golden apples would
be easy as such I flew over to the
nether portal entrance and turned up my
render distance I flew around a bit
found a decent Island but moved on until
I found a beautiful area this was
perfect I set up base on a couple of
floating islands and immediately got to
work by getting a villager turned into a
librarian and set to trade mending with
me I’ve got to get my priorities
straight I flew back to my gold Farm got
the enchantment on my elytra and finally
got to work on the foundation of my
castle I flew to a nearby Hill and
removed a couple layers of dirt I tried
working out a design for the build and
flopped around a bit I thought about
making round Towers but that made the
build feel a little too funky so I went
with something more basic I went with a
rectangle then I added several squares
and that is when I thought the build
started to look better then I actually
got to work I flew back and forth
Gathering Stone andesite gravel and
Cobble for the base layer while trying
to increase my emeralds with two farmers
and a Fletcher to deck out the rest of
my gear and items with mending this part
took a little while because the dude was
literally trying to sell me mending for
30 plus
emeralds when I finally had a shape
built out that I was happy with I
started Gathering wood I had to use a
lot of Google for inspiration here too I
mean I like the base layer okay but it
needed more detail and an upper layer
that looked a bit different so I added
some spiky bits all around the wall and
a couple of roofs on the towers and a
wooden house on the Central Square and
it thought it looked pretty good then I
decided what would make it look even
better is if I retextured the entire
build because I just initially sort of
just threw materials together to get the
shape and it it looked it looked like it
needed a lot of work finally I had it
done well mostly the interior still
needed to be changed and the villagers
needed to be added it was somewhere in
here that I noticed that I’d managed to
survive over a 100 days I have been
working on this project for so freaking
long that I have ended up crossing over
100 days in this
world uh heck yes over 100 days in this
Ultra Hardcore world where we got down
to half a heart and have survived let’s
keep this going guys I’m so stroked oh
my
gosh so I dug out the floor and replaced
it with path horse dirt and Oak slabs I
also added bushes fencing and a bit of
textured path on the outside for some
detail then I added in a bunch of
librarians and Masons I housed my
Fletcher in a tower and added a cleric
armor toolsmith weaponsmith a butcher
and a fisherman I’m not sure how many
villagers that is but if you can count
them and leave a comment about it I’ll
uh I don’t know I’ll uh I’ll put my uh
I’ll put your name on a sign somewhere
in my world
I spent most of the time in the rooms
trying to decorate the room to fit the
vibe of the Villager profession it
worked out okay for most of them though
the weapon Smith Tool Smith armor and
Masons really didn’t get many
decorations and the cleric the cleric
quit his job so I guess I can’t really
say his room was
decorated according to his Vibe but the
Librarians got a bunch of bookshelves
and the other rooms turned out pretty
sweet too what do you guys think about
the build do you have any suggestions
for the rooms we didn’t get to ated oh
and uh by the way I need help
redesigning a better gate area the build
actually hasn’t been super safe like I
wanted and I almost died a few times to
creepers and the villagers were
definitely zombified a few times though
that really did help me out in the end
mending is dirt cheap thank you for
watching and thank you to my YouTube
members and patreon supporters without
you guys none of this would be possible
