ECKOSOLDIER – How to get Spectator Mode in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Did you know in the most recent beta preview the developers added spectator mode Now this is a very unexpected video to be making but in the most recent beta or preview for ios android windows 10 or xbox we now have access to spectator mode this was not mentioned in the official change log shout out to the community who have been telling me that

Is now available i want to share with you everything you need to know about spectator modes for minecraft bedrock edition this is all possible in the version 1.19.0.20 that is the beta version if you’re in preview it will read version 1.19.0 so there is a few things i want to teach

You about this because again it’s not the exact same as minecraft java edition you can’t simply go into your settings and change your game mode to spectator because to the visible eye it is not there at all again you’ve got default survival creative or adventure

And the exact same here so what you need to do is when you’re in game all you gotta do is type in forward slash game mode six and you’ll notice on the top left it says your game mode has been updated to create world screen game mode spectator

We’ve never seen anything like that before those kind of things are usually back end now that we’re in spectator mode you literally can’t see my hand or anything like that you are technically not there you’re basically like a ghost and we’re able to go through the floor but you’ll notice that

We can’t go through the floor however if i wanted to go through trees and things like that i’m able to do that so there is one thing that you’re gonna have to do here first thing you need to do is be in creative mode which is obviously game mode c you’ll also notice

That it kind of like reloads the game for you again now what you want to do now is when you’re in creative access the fly mode if you’re not flying it’s not going to work for you then type in forward slash game mode six and then you’re able to go

Vertically whether you want to go up or whether you want to go down we now have a fully functional spectator mode and i really do hope that this is not going to be just another mistake the way the ray tracing has been a mistake it looks like the spectator mode for

Bedrock edition as well is probably going to be a little bit different compared to the java version in fact it’s actually done a lot better if we go back to game mode c like you’re literally inside of of a block and you’re literally gonna see darkness it’s

Kind of really creepy to be honest with you again this is still a work in progress and if we go back to game mode six i’m able to move again you can see how all the chunks load i think this is meant to optimize performance rather than making your

World incredibly laggy but it’s it’s so smooth it’s so clean now a couple of things with this you can access your creative inventory and you can throw things on the floor however if you’re in here and you’re trying to access let’s say we wanted to try and access uh we

Can’t we can’t access anything at all obviously if we’re in game mode creative we’re able to access literally everything we want like diamond blocks and things like that um which you cannot do if you’re in game mode six which is spectator mode you can access your inventory but you can’t access any of

The blocks because you’re physically not there again i’m able to throw these on the floor now on java edition you would literally be like a ghost head um that’s not quite the case with the bedrock version but again if we stay in spectator mode you can see that again yeah it glitches

Out a little bit if you’re trying to go down uh but give it a try like that is really weird yeah so obviously you’re best off being in the first person perspective here because it gets a little bit weird every single block it starts to freak

Out and even if you’re looking at it from behind as well the same kind of thing happens i basically head button the screen you’ll also notice that when i’m in creative mode the top left you can see my little figure that’s how you know obviously you’re in creative mode

You can see me holding the little diamond block and the coordinates below it but if you go back to game mode 6 you’ll notice that your character just completely disappears obviously it says the text of what game mode you’re in but you’ll also notice the coordinates have now been pushed

To the top left now the cool thing about this is that this is bigger than just spectator modes for minecraft bedrock edition because with spectator mode this is now going to open the possibility for the bedrock community to have the introduction of the hardcore game mode and i feel like the hardcore

Game mode has been bigger and better and even more popular over the past couple years than it ever has before i think ever since filzer died everyone’s kind of jumped onto the hardcore train and once you have spectator modes that game mode should eventually come to the game

So i have no potion effect now we’re gonna go to forward slash game mode six now again we’ve entered the creative state i made a mistake of uh not being in fly mode so it does take me a little bit of time to get used to this go into

Fly mode go into six and then we’re able to go up and down now if i now go into my settings you’ll notice that it has personal game mode and it doesn’t show anything at all so let’s just say secretly below adventure mode it says spectator mode for the minecraft player

For anyone who wants to check this out whether you’re on ios android windows 10 or xbox um do the effect and i’m gonna do app p whatever and then you’re gonna do knight underscore vision set it to like 10 000 set it to 10 and set it to true now the

Reason why i’m saying this is because it will give you night vision but it will completely remove the particles the only way the only reason why i’m saying that is because as you can see when i’m currently in spectator mode it’s quite dark and the visibility really isn’t that

Great so we’re going to run this command again at p now let’s go we do 10 and we do 10 and we’ll do true again just gives you the night vision effect for a very long period of time but it just gets rid of the particles and you can see here we

Have found ourselves ah okay so you cannot i mean that’s that’s weird because at first we couldn’t see the chest there but obviously we can see the chair so we’ve got a game modes creative here we’ve now got access to this be a great way to find things i think

It’s gonna be a great way for seed finding as well that’s actually a really good find there now what i’ve not done here forward slash game mode survival obviously you’re gonna begin to suffocate so probably not a good idea and you can see all the chunks reload like whether you go to

Creative mode and then back to game mode six you can see everything reload incredibly fast one thing i have noticed here is if you head over to something like water which we’ll do right now right and we go down come on let’s go back to game mode creative fly again game mode six

It does make like the entering water sound right can’t hear them sound effects there now it does not affect you though with flowing water and i keep double tapping so here’s something else to not do don’t don’t double tap because if you double tap like you can’t go down where if

You’re in water it doesn’t push you you can see here we’re clearly in the water but we’re not being affected by the current at all now you’ll also notice though that the mobs don’t recognize you and i think if we’re in creative here even if you’re in creative you can see

That the zombie looks in me the zombie knows i’m there but if we go to game mode six it’s like i’m non-existent and i’ve also just noticed as well that a lot of mobs also disappear so again that could be all down to optimization which is very strange

Though because the majority of them do disappear but you can clearly see that there was a creeper messing around in in in the water clear and obvious that they’re messing around with this functionality because they want to introduce it to the game you really do get to see the biomes from

A different perspective now it’s all great in the past finding things like this but you got to get lucky now you’re going to be able to pinpoint certain locations like a lush cave biome or whether you find a drip stone cave or even if you find yourself like an

Ancient city now when you’re in spectator mode for minecraft java edition you are able to tap on mobs to become the mob that functionality is not available you’re also not able to access chests and i i’m clicking you guys can hear the clicking but i can’t like react with anything i can’t

Break blocks i can’t hit mobs i can’t open chests your functionality is pretty much gone the same way as in your creative as well about to type in diamond it’s like you’re in like survival slash creative at the same time i mean like i said you can throw the things on the

Floor which you can see there which would be very very creepy if you’re in a seven someone was in spectator mode you can take armor and things like that off and of course you can go through walls without any problems and as you know if you’re in game mode creative you can still

Trigger things like this but if we go to game mode six let’s see if this still applies right see this still applies i don’t think there’s any no that’s still that’s still reacted as if i was there to be fair there’s nothing else in here so it yeah

It does still kind is that is that just by flying because i’m flying so it must be when i touch the ground or like oh yeah see so yeah again not perfect by any means and as you guys can clearly see via the rest of the gameplay
