Foreign hope you’re having an absolutely fantastic day in today’s Minecraft video we are back on Minecraft Pocket Edition the Bedrock version for a brand new full release this is the version 1.19.20 it is starting to roll out now for iOS Android Windows 10 Xbox switch and Playstation here is the confirmation From J Wells megaspood Community manager he just said 1.19.20 is rolling out now for Minecraft Bedrock edition Enjoy if you’re just here for the change log it’s down below this is an absolutely humongous update there is bug fixes there is tweaks there is parity changes and I’m here to go Through every single one of them strap in there’s a lot to go through we are starting off with new features they have added the updated create new world screen on Nintendo switch probably gonna get a bunch of people saying but I still don’t have it honestly I have no idea How they are rolling this out I have it on Windows 10 11. I don’t have it on IOS and Android I have it on Xbox so it’s really weird again it’s still rolling out for all platforms all devices let me know in the comments section if You have this or not and what platform you are on moving on to changes they have added support for Middle Mouse click on iOS so what that is is pick block middle Mouse click just gives you the block that you’re looking at and can Take a sign I could take a chest I can take a door um it wasn’t working on iOS it’s now been added a Java parity change zombies now have a 10 chance to be able to break doors on hard difficulty so I’ve got a bunch of zombies here and I’ve got uh Villages forward slash difficulty we’re gonna make sure this is on the hardest difficulty forward slash time set night time so prior to this zombies ad had a 100 Door uh break rate so they’ll break every single door now it’s only a minority so so they’re not all going to Break it but there is going to be select few that are able to break this door you probably heard the door breaking animation there it’s already changed come on get out get out let’s do it again please move let’s try this one more time villager there don’t open the door But there’s only a select few that will be able to break it one of these on this side is able to break it he’s not able to break it three two one and and the door is broken he’s dead so yeah finally uh matching Java Edition implemented new Marketplace Era screen art and messaging time out when connecting to a multiplayer game has been reduced from 180 to 90 seconds d-pad left can now be held down again to move the cursor left in the menus we got our first bug report been an issue for a Little bit of time but it says you cannot press and hold to move the cursor left with a controller here is a video you can hold it to go up and down and right but when you try to do it left it would only do it one square at a time it Has been thick instantaneous effects in Brackets potions tipped arrows can no longer be applied to dead mobs and players they’re so below music track now plays in the basalt Delta biome which is inside of the nether redesigned the menu toggle switches to make it easier to distinguish between The on and off States known issues due to an unexpected crashing issue we have had to temporarily revert the fix for mcp-105487 which can cause textures to turn pink after playing for long periods of times on a server we’ve got a bug report one of the longest lasting bugs 4 Bedrock Edition is this textures can change pink when playing for long periods of time I think every single Minecraft player who has played on a server has experienced this now going back to three betas ago they actually fixed it but it broke the game more so They’ve had to revert it so yeah pink glitch not fixed this me means that this bug may continue to occur until we have a solution thank you for your patience while we continue to work on this important issue we hope to have it finally fixed as soon as possible so Pink glitch I’m just convinced it’s a part of the game now moving on to fixes the game no longer crashes when browsing the marketplace fixed a crash related to spawn eggs we’ve got a book report PlayStation players this is for you game crashes when I open a block to write or When I hold an egg in my inventory so I got a little bit of gameplay here holding it begins to play it then yep your game crashes if you’re on Playstation you had this issue go and see if it’s still a thing prevent client slash server portal travel desync on low Render distance settings fixed potential crash when returning to the Overworld from the nether or the end it says potential crash show hmm interesting the game no longer crashes when entering Queen starter bundle screen fixed bugs where client states can get out of sync with server if using an item is canceled Uh using an item is canceled or failed honestly I’m not gonna lie I have no idea what that fix is improved the performance of the locate biome command the mitigate stores on the server while searching for a biome that is far away we do have a bug report so I talked About this in the beta versions The locate Bion command freezes the world when the desired biome is very far away or in another dimension so we do have a video here they’re gonna run a command as you can see the game kind of freezes and blocks can be broken instantly and Then they all break at once when it’s kind of found the biome or not found it so this has been fixed if we do forward slash locate and we do biome and then we did let’s say we did cold tiger and then we do Hills which I’m convinced is not a Biome so if we grab ourselves some Malay here there’s still slightly slight delay here so if we spam down a bunch of these and then we’re on the same command they still stop like it’s still not perfect you can see here you can clearly see right there that this book is still Happening so although they’ve planned to improved it it’s still not perfect and you will still have issues whether you’re in single player or on a server next a crash that could occur when connected devices like the game pads were missing for example if your Gamepad just turns itself off Um the game could crash fix they crash that was caused by a villager changing its profession while trading the trade screen will now close if the villages change profession mid trade so let’s say you had a villager who was accessing the barrel and then you broke the barrel but You’re in the trade screen it was crash your game so now it will just instantly close the villager trading screen and then yeah you just gotta wait for them to have a new profession and basically kick you out from Trading with them fixed a crash that could occur when Pistons were extending or retracting near movable blocks and arrows so pretty simple with this one if you had an arrow on there or an arrow on there or Trident in some cases and as you can see they’re like retractable and the arrows move this kind of thing could cause a crash No more does that happen fixed a crash when exploring multiple categories in the marketplace on Xbox and Playstation fixed a crash that could occur when teleporting and killing an entity in the same tick gameplay changes the wandering Traders spawning now matches Java Edition and it will no longer spawn in Water lava or Underground I’m kind of sad about this change to be honest with you next fixed a bug where bows could fail to shoot an arrow the first time they were used this also affected crossbows um with uh and with the throwing of tridents we got a bug report here is the Bug report we have a video here when they attempt to fire a bow at the start it just doesn’t work and you gotta do it the second time so this happened not only with the bow but you try to fire it it instantly fires now whether you just Tap to pull it back it will still fire or you hold it all away same thing happened with with this as well now always fires and the same with the crossbow as well they will now always fire moving on it says fixed a bug that caused the new Wild update music to not Play in the wild update biome when in creative mode fixed an issue that prevented fishermen Villages from offer ring to buy boats at max level and yeah you you we’re not giving us the offer of a boat as you can clearly see now you have a boat you’re able to trade with The Villager the secret door that leads to the Redstone Room in the center of an ancient city now opens slash closes properly so what would happen here is that the structure would just apparently stay open or permanently stay closed because the Redstone was copied from java Edition and the delays were wrong Because redstone on both platforms work differently so now it actually works on Bedrock edition lava in buckets will no longer disappear when failing to be placed or dispensed into partial blocks we’ve got a book report 1.15 so it’s been a problem for a very very long time And we have a video here they have the dispenser when they activate it the lava disappears but the booker is still there so just to show you the example dispenser lava half block Redstone it did it dispense that you guys have seen and instead of just getting rid of the Lava it just dispenses the lava bucket on its own so finally that’s been fixed fixed an issue where enchantments on ranged weapons on mobs were not being applied we’ve got a bug report weapons of other mobs enchanted with the forward slash enchant command do not work Properly it has been an issue for a very long time finally been fixed today fixed volume level of amethyst step chime sound when walked on by a mob so we’ve got Piggies here it’s to do with this whenever they walked on this I think it was really really loud that’s now been fixed It basically match the player’s walking sound fixed an issue where some items with durability would fail to be created from the creative inventory ancient cities have more frequent skulk patch generation this is still not perfect by the way it’s talking about these it’s talking about all the sculptor related blocks as well Um so I don’t think this is perfect for the Bedrock Edition just yet let me show you while we are here it’s still a problem in this version with Mobs spawning inside of ancient cities nothing is meant to spawn here other than the warden as for the problems Skulk blocks yeah it’s definitely been improved but there’s still so many bare areas down here it’s still not perfect I’ve said this in betas and previews I’d expect this issue to be worked on again and I’m a little bit disappointed that they haven’t fixed the mobs still Spawning down here kinda ruins the whole entire experience of this location player no longer takes damage from entering a nether portal if it is placed at y equals negative 21 or below we got a bug report players take void damage when entering the nether so if you’re at Negative 21 or below you are kinda in trouble being fixed fixed an issue where scores on scoreboards were not being ordered properly we move on fixed a bug where fishing hooks would drop loot when killed with the forward slash kill command we’ve got a bug report I’ve Showed you this one before it’s pretty funny though fishing hook entity when using forward slash kill gives fishing loot items so if you’re running a specific command which was this one but there is not a video there might be one on this one there’s a video here watch this Just gonna mute this thing real quick but if you run the commands while you’re fishing the bobber turns into an item meanwhile now if you were to fish run the exact same command it just gets rid of the item itself doesn’t give you an item fact such as a Popper fish that was finally fixed it also says players Soul speed is now properly activated and deactivated on Soul Sand we’ve got a bug report so with this one whenever you jumped onto the soul related blocks it wouldn’t automatically point you into sprinting mode as you can see here your Mentor Automatically Sprints when you have the soul speed uh enchantment on it’s been fixed today and I can show you this one Soul Speed 3 we activate this if we just walk normally as you can see nothing’s happening step on this instantly go zoom zoom so that’s that’s a pretty good Change that they finally finally introduced to the Bedrock version fixed a bug causing Health underscore boost to display incorrect Health values causing the player to turn invisible and unable to interact with the world on dying when trading the Villager plays the correct sound based on the item in the input slot we’ve got A bug report so it’s been a problem since 1.18 if we go on this you’ll see here if you put like the Shockers in there he doesn’t say that I don’t want that trade sound he’s happy to maybe try and trade with you I can show you this the Villager wants paper Is happy to take the paper if we put this in here he’s like I don’t want that so there’s now a distinctive change between the blocks and items that he wants verse doesn’t that is a Java parity change right there scores in ancient cities now better match the Orientation they have in Java Edition we got a book report so this was reported from day one skeleton heads generate in the ancient cities have incorrect block States on Bedrock Edition they looked really weird the hitbox was not correct and that’s how it looked in Java Edition It was fixed today enable event filters in the root definition to be evaluated independent of sequence or randomize when a format underscore version of 1.19.20 or higher is specified I’m not quite sure what that change is all about so if somebody could explain let me know in the comment section thank you fixed Issue with health boost extra life not staying mobs polar bears no longer panic when attacked so if you attack attack not pack when you attack one of these they don’t run away anymore they did strangely enough previously tadpoles flopping while on land now more closely matches Java Edition and fishing speed On Bedrock Edition these bounce like crazy previously um I still think the hitbox is slightly off on these uh now they still bounce like crazy but not as crazy as before it says piglens will now stop attacking if the player puts on gold armor so this is Actually a pretty good chain so if we go to forward slash game mode s put him down he’s chasing me he’s chasing me he’s chasing me gold he’s no longer interested in me we take this off he’s chasing me he’s chasing me he’s chasing me put it on he is no longer interested In me that has now been fixed jobless zombie Villages are no longer unable to ride Minecarts or boats ravager is now able to destroy Mangrove leaves Azalea azalea leaves cave Vines drip leaves Spore blossoms and hanging Roots please move Mr Polar Bear uh releasing a bucketed custom mob now spawns the Correct type of mob fixed the order in which a bucketed mob is created when released which means any actor properties on it will load correctly alas can now pick up and drop items at their at their owner when in a boat so I’ve showed you this one before in beta We give it this if we drop this by it it will now pick it up and should eventually throw it back to me that was another thing last time and also Elise can now always pick up drop scaffolding so if you wanted to give it a little Scaffolding and then you broke this they wouldn’t previously pick it up they they now do I love the LA they’re super cute what an absolutely brilliant in future La now correctly stops dancing when music from jukebox boxes end so if we put down the Olay lay lay play the music It begins to shake its head you turn the music off their heads now stop shaking and also Elise now look at Targets such as players fish do not Shake anymore when placed in an isolated water block so this was still broken last time I tested this book you put this inside of Here now ironically enough they become Obsolete and they don’t move at all they’re not shaking as much but they don’t really work how I was expecting them to and I’m sorry but we do love the giant salmon moving on fixed a bug that caused wolves to spawn red when summoned With the entity underscore born or on underscore time events it says fixed a bug that could cause witches to stop spawning the witch hut structure is now set as a surface spawner for witches so if you had a witch farm and it wasn’t working it now should work go and test It the Ender Dragon can no longer destroy crying obsidian respawn anchors uh light deny a loud border and jigsaw blocks fixed a bug causing baby mobs with the Minecraft Behavior sleep goal to have a shrunken hitbox Elise and bees are now less likely to get stuck in on Four blocks and this was to do with things like lanterns they would get stuck in there he stole that from me they would get stuck in there same with beers has well now been fixed it says the warden can now detect a player sneaking on top of a spook so Let me show you this one down here if you’re crouching on a skulk it will now permanently activate and will now permanently signal to a warden that you are standing on it so with those kind of things you’re gonna have to be a little bit more careful sneak around them not On top of them uh Warden can now let itself fall up to 20 blocks down instead of just three we’ve got a bug report Bedrock Warden refuses to form more than three blocks unlike Java Edition so on Java you could have it up to 20 blocks it would jump off and attack you Ironically enough on Bedrock edition if it was this tall it would just be stuck and stay up there elaze can now pick up armor pieces with different durability than the one they are holding entities that die completely now have their data removed from the world little Thanos not Snap right there fixed a bug which could cause mobs to not load into the world if their saved why position was greater than or equal to 25 blocks removed wood from the names of Mangrove wood plank stairs and slabs so now it matches Jarvis as Mangrove planks Mangrove stairs and Mangrove slabs Instead of Mangrove wood planks their slabs twisting Vines and weeping vines with no support now pop even when the random ticking speed is set to zero hanging Mangrove probable cause no longer drop a probable item when silk touched if not at Max growth and that’s To do with these so if you were to try and silk touch one of these and it wasn’t fully grown let me try and do something real quick here if it wasn’t fully growing it’s gonna forward slash game mode ass um then when you silk touched it you Wouldn’t be able to pick it up like this you’d just not be able to pick it up as you guys know um yeah it’s not classed as a full ripe probably ghoul pretty good one Moody Mangrove Roots can now be placed sideways so the item itself goes this Way but if you wanted to change that direction and Crouch and change it to go sideways or even these ways you can now do that they’re pretty good for decoration hanging Mangrove probable no longer changes color when certain blocks are placed nearby we got a book report Now with this book it turned it red we had red probable ghouls if you had Redstone underneath it or near it it could turn red that no longer happens end portal frame block is now named end portal frame instead of end portal and it says end portal frame amethyst block Has been renamed to block of amethyst and as you can see it’s a block of amethyst Mangrove log mangrove of wood and stripped Mangrove wood can now be used to craft a campfire with charcoal so um would use one of them as an example but if we put these down here charcoal There and then try to make these prior to this update you could not make your campfires it’s now been fixed and also it says campfires can once again be stacked correctly we got a bug report normal campfires can no longer be stacked so we do have some worlds here Um but yeah basically in some cases they will not stack together only the soul can firewood and just to confirm that campfire campfire stack Soul can fire they stack and obviously they do not stack together fixed a bug where Pistons sometimes did not drop the Piston item When broken by the arm so we got a forward slash game mode s here if you broke it here it would be fine but if you try to break it here sometimes you wouldn’t get the Piston itself that’s been fixed sounds of the smizing table when a villager is where working are now The same as the sounds when the player uses the table we’ve got a bug report been a problem for quite some time it’s available parody basically it was making an anvil sign Ed not signed but yeah it’s been fixed kind of hard to replicate but whenever They use that to restock their trades it now makes the correct sound Bells can no longer catch fire or be destroyed by fire so these things are now fire proof Mangrove and azalea leaves no longer prevent tree growth and we do have skulk block changes let’s read the change log Now there has been a lot of skulk block changes I didn’t want to go over all of them because we’ve gone over all of these in separate betas but there has been changes such as cook sensor can no longer detect the boats staying still in water reduced School Catalyst experience Dropped from 20 to 5. that is because people were using wardens as farms and farming School Catalyst blocks to then gain a lot of XP there’s been a lot of frequency changes here down to explosions of creepers uh crystals fish TNT et cetera again revert to the chain Famous log if you’re interested in the technical side of the skulk block changes we move on to graphical fix the bug causing fov to stutter when sprinting while the player has a speed effect applied and this would basically do this right you’d literally still to like this all the time it was really Annoying really really buggy it’s now been fixed it says with data driven block tessellation geometry box pivot based rotation now rotates around the correct Pivot Point fixed x-ray vision when top snow falls on top of a player so it now behaves as a solid block when top snow covers players Vision so there Was if you stand in the middle there was actually a way that you could glitch yourself inside of Top snow where it’d give you an x-ray effect that’s no longer possible to do it just acts as a full block now it also says fixed an issue with RTX on Windows Web Point Lights were unintentionally accumulated for emissive blocks user interface the toggle perspective hint now shows the player’s assignment instead of the default assignment saddled pigs hey we got some pigs here tooltip changed to ride instead of Mount added content warning for large icons for texture tessellation for example objects in Hands fixed an issue where players were not able to hover over UI elements inside a scroll view if a portion of it fell outside of The View when using Mouse plus keyboard on iOS this was a result of the scroll View Auto focusing onto the nearest non-clipped element of A text 4 can underscore Place underscore on blocks for items in inventory is now in a consistent order between game saves removed the controller settings tab for Oculus goat horn sound is now placed in the Jukebox Note Block sound category in settings fixed the added server feature Not saving IPv6 addresses moving on to Realms they have updated Realms plus FAQ to clarify that all Bedrock platforms can now purchase Realms plus fix an error we’re creating a new realm would navigate out to the play screen instead of returning to the create new world screen The Realms feed screenshot button is now available for VR platforms spectator mode they have removed emotes functionality while in spectator mode players can now place blocks where spectator is hovering that’s pretty good so if you’re in spectator mode and want someone to place a block right here a New inside of there it’s now placed on top of you after a very long time players now have their hands back when they are holding a map when they have one item in the offhand and one in the main hand so this was broken even in betas and previews if you had the Experimental toggle enabled which I do right there it would still break it but you can see I now I have hands you can see my hands now if we have one in the offhand and we’re holding the other one we now have hands again so they did go Ahead and fix the spectator issue it’s been a problem for a very very long time it’s now been fixed spectator heads are now properly rendered as semi-transparent so if we go to forward slash game modes spectator I’m just ahead I still have my Cape though hmm interesting let’s go to Game Mode Creative always lags when we go to spectator mode it says character creator head items hats hoods helmets Etc are now properly rendered semi-transparent while in spectator mode capes and animated back items are no longer rendered while in spectator mode I mean that’s kind of a lie because you can clearly see I have It I think you’re not meant to have it but I I I definitely do have it Spectators can no longer use or get affected by portals you can’t go for a portal if you’re in spectator and last but not least technical updates let’s read the change log one of the biggest Technical update changes we have seen they’ve updated add-on templates to match 1.19.20 and then tons of General fixes if you’re interested in add-ons and mods and the technical side go and check out the
