Did you know that Minecraft Bedrock Edition has had a glass transparency issue for a very long time you can see regular signs and even the new hanging signs through the corners of glass and also glass panes apparently it also makes banners look really really strange I learned this today from toy cats According to this official bug report it was first noticed in 1.16 and was reported two years ago in 2021 Minecraft Bedrock Edition now has the version 1.20.30 I didn’t talk about one feature in my previous video but Minecraft Bedrock Edition are going to be discontinuing support for some IOS and Android platforms but what I did talk about in Minecraft 1.20.30 is shaders not being available all these people commenting asking where shaders is I literally said at the start of the video it’s not gonna be a 1.20.30 we’ve literally had one full version of shaders they are currently experimenting it’s not available in 1.20.30 it might not even be available in 1.20.40 does that make sense do you guys hear me loud and clear and to back that up Kayla one of the Minecraft developers who’s working on shaders slash deferred rendering which is what it’s called said deferred rendering is staying on preview For a while still so it’s gonna be a long time until this is available in a full release so if you see anybody commenting on any of my videos asking about it just say hey it’s not coming just yet okay thank you let’s get into the other information If you can remember one month ago I brought you this video which was titled versions of Minecraft are being discontinued and in that video I shared with you the information that was discovered by smokestacks a Minecraft data Miner he said in the latest hashtag Minecraft preview a text has been found That indicates the sun setting of iOS 12 and nougat in Brackets which was Android 7 and this would be happening in February 2024. this appears to be the final tier of sun setting for now as indicated by the files now it looks like The Benchmark for Android has been Increased so let me go back to the whole sun setting thing it was discovered a couple of years ago that Minecraft would be discontinuing support in multiple stages I think it was like four or five stages and platforms were no longer could be supported and they would not be Updated because they were pretty much outdated according to Smoky Stacks what I share with you today is the final sun setting stage and if you survive today’s video you should be good to play Minecraft for the foreseeable future well until Minecraft improved The Benchmark once again I mentioned in that Video that nugar released back in August of 2016 anyone playing Android versions higher than that would be safe no no no no no no it looks like they’ve increased The Benchmark like I said now in the official Minecraft 1.20.30 change log towards the bottom this is what it said minimum supported Mobile Hardware as Minecraft grows so must the operating system and Hardware that supports it for some older Apple devices you may need to update to iOS 13 or above by February 2024 to continue receiving updates for Minecraft or to access online play if you are on the most up-to-date version of iOS already You have nothing to worry about but please follow Apple’s guide on how to update your device you can also refer to blah blah blah and it’s a link to iOS 13 and higher below that that it says for Android as of February 2024 devices require greater than one gigabyte RAM Run OS 8 which is Oreo or above and have open gles 3.0 to run it please refer to the Minecraft help center articles for further details now as you guys know Minecraft are currently working on shaders so The Benchmark for Minecraft Bedrock Edition is definitely going to Be a lot higher if you do not have a device greater than this then unfortunately you are going to be losing support for Minecraft however judging by this information you might actually qualify for the next Minecraft update which is going to be 1.21 we just don’t Know what that update is going to be so it looks like in the space of one month nothing has changed for iOS uses and and just for reference iOS 12 was released on the 17th of September 2018. now if you’re an iOS player let me know in the comments section what iOS Version are you using and what Apple products do you play on and for Android players who are using Oreo which is Android 8.0 that released on the 21st of August 2017 so new garbage 2016 Oreo is 2017 so they’ve just bumped up The Benchmark a little bit more and I said in that Previous video I was quite impressed that Minecraft could run the latest updates and was still playable and functional on an operating system that was created back in 2016 but again in order for Minecraft to develop an Android and iOS and Bedrock to get better The Benchmark needs to be Increased so if you’re not running this system and you’re running a higher version of Android or iOS you should be safe apparently this is the final stage of sun setting I just wanted to talk about this because again I feel like Minecraft and Mojang don’t talk about This enough and this is quite important this isn’t something that they publicly discuss or talk about so I’m here to keep you all updated anyway have a wonderful day hope you’re enjoying 1.20.30 see in the next one Video Information
