Hello my name is hector welcome back to alchemical architecture how is everyone doing hope you’re doing well hope you’re having a lovely day we’re back we’re back in my very own world pack i know people some people have been having issues and i’ll be posting an update to the mod pack which

Hopefully will resolve a few of the issues soon and last episode we got we got started over there in the village that is where the village is so we’re not that far away and we got started by doing some a lot of monk things which is pretty cool

And one of the things is obviously which i do love i do love i love the blink i love being able to zip around it’s all pretty excellent so i’ve moved over here because we need to do some building we need to do some building

We’re going to do some of the mud the building part of the magic building bits uh if that makes sense so that’s what we’re going to be up to today let’s have some corn and i’ve set this up here and this is just doing a

Lot of ores i’ve been mining i’ve got a little a little mining entrance down there and just for ease and it’s pretty good because i’ve um i also put all excavation and it mining is pretty pretty hefty because with our hand we can just mine through so much cobble

Uh it’s pretty pretty great so we’ve got this going and what i thought we’d start by doing is doing getting some of the chisel stuff because we need we need that we need that so let’s get let us get let us get um i would like an eye chisel because that

Is pretty cool so i need some redstone uh i need some gold do i have any gold yet um i do there we go let’s put let’s put you in there voila like so bam uh wait till we’ll get a little bit of gold just one go you can see we’ve got a

Fair bit of iron quite a lot of copper and there we go one bit of that and because obviously i want to make use of all of all of the wonderful building modes that we have so one thing i need is that we can make a normal chisel and

Then make an eye chisel which is the better one obviously um we need to make a chisholm bits diamond chisel there we go bam three left okay that’s okay we might make a saw we’ll see we’ll see we should probably make one of these we need wall

There are a lot of um use and rams around thankfully like you can see is that one up there just hanging around in the tree i think it might be um so we will do that as well i want to make the architecture craft um bench thing architecture craft uh

Architects hammer is that oh saw bench the saw bench that’s what that’s what i want how do i think that needs to be made first i can do that what else that needs to be made i don’t have a stick there we go let’s get some sticks boom you thank you very much

And does that mean nope we need one of these bam and surely what i don’t have sticks again let’s make there we go thank you lovely stuff and that just means that we can uh oh really i don’t have that just means we can make a lot of cool different shaped blocks fairly

Easily along with our chisel and chisel and that just gives us a good base so we’re gonna make a look look look at this we’ve got we’ve got some we’ve got some lambs over here are you over there and this is where we’re going to make our little thing and

It’s not going to be huge build i don’t think we need like a particularly large build um in order for for what i want to work work what i have found is this purple slate uh which i think is is very cool i don’t know why but i think purple

Is a very magical color um i don’t know why we can also uh make i think shingles yeah and i don’t know is it that one no um what’s the let’s have a look i can’t remember ah polished okay let’s let’s see what these bad boys look like as well um let’s do

Four by fours okay oh that’s quite nice that is quite nice and oh oh it’s it’s this all day long is it the shingles that looks awesome i i really like that i don’t know why that does it for me so right i found quite a lot of the um the purple slate

So that is great good for us from earthworks thank you very much i’m glad i added that so let’s i’m guessing we get the same amount back can we do anything with that like to undo it oh purple slate tiles so this is even even more different okay what’s this

Ah okay so that is more of a roof variety that’s pretty cool earthworks very very handy mod there we go okay um so i’m gonna start very slowly building a bit of a a roof well not a roof am a foundation literally the opposite uh if

You go over here what options have we got for cobble we’ve got all of these options which i’m fairly familiar with obviously cobble and stone are good to begin with because they’re easy to come by um i always i always end up using this the weathered brick i just think it looks

It looks rather rather brilliant um i don’t know why i just think that looks really cool and this i think along with with this will look quite good um i i quite like that what i would like is some spruce wood i’ve not seen any spruce wood so far and i’ve also

I discovered some normal some normal wood which is excellent there we go wait for that to happen um so it just means that we’ve got we’ve got some normal trees grown which are obviously a lot easier and to grow and chop down and all of that stuff so

That’s what i’ve been doing to get to get some uh some more wood basically there we go and i cannot reach that can i that is irritating that is irritating can i no not even slightly can i reach that okay quick there we go bomb can i get you

Can i get you there we go there we go lovely stuff so i’m gonna i’m gonna try and get some foundations going and and we’ll sort of see and i want to i want to use chisel and bits a fair bit and i want to use obviously the chisel mod

And some of architecture’s stuff as well because this has got a lot of cool you know just a lot of cool things like the windows especially i i really like this is the very very start i’ve laid out a little bit of an area as you can see see

Ish i want there to be like a chimney on this side that’s what i’m thinking um i don’t know about the back i feel like there needs to be something else here but i thought would start concentrating on the front uh and a small window here bigger one

There that’s what i thought and i kind of want like a curve to appear so that’s what we’ll be trying to do as well um we might we might have these blocks and i’m not sure yet i’m not sure yet and same with these we might we might you

Know mess with them a little bit but i just wanted to get a bit of a bit of a thing i’ve got spruce as you can see and also i’ve discovered uh very very handily um i have oh where has it gone aha okay and that if we

Let’s actually get the things um if we get one of these actually let’s no that’s jacaranda yeah let’s just do it with this we can convert the spruce cones so from dynamic trees back into the normal regular sapling so if we get dirt like that a

Dirt bucket uh we can you can see you can re-remake the normal saplings which are which is pretty good it’s what it’s great for ah there we go is you know being able to get a lot more wood like that ah that is not what i wanted um i have a limit

There we go dang but yeah this is what it’s better for is getting a lot of wood ah the dynamic trees basically look the best you know they look awesome and but for forgetting a lot of wood they’re not so great so this is what i’m doing and and i think

It’s uh it’s working well so far so i’m going to continue working hopefully i’ll get a bit more of a shape and by the next cut because so far it’s you know it’s looking a little bit dodge things are happening um i’m quite liking the

Look of this so far it looks a bit bonkers like quite tree-like um i’ve gone a bit crazy with chisel and bits um yeah i’ve you can see i’ve made a little i made a little thing here i’ve just been sort of chiseling away not

Trying to not too too much i wanted to have some sort of like flower beds here that’s what all this is in aid of so we’ll we’ll see if that i don’t know if that that pays off or not uh and then these chiseled glass panes so i chiseled

Them with the chisel block and then obviously i sawed them with a diamond bit saw as well just to get them in here it looks a little bit flat but uh we’ll we’ll see if we can i don’t know do anything better than that um that doesn’t need to be here

And there we go i’ve got a spruce door there we go um no i didn’t i did not go through there wow um i’ve got a spruce door because i think it it looks the best so far we might try to change it and i don’t

Really know how i’m going to go up yet uh with any of this i don’t know i’m i’m totally making this up as i go along what i was thinking is that we maybe we maybe do more of this here and then have another maybe i’m guessing spruce uh color

Behind this now this is gonna take a while like oh i’ve just i’ve just realized that this is just already like it’s got to be like such a bigger build i’ve just realized as well that is is that not one higher i can’t tell maybe it isn’t it looks

It looks like it’s the wrong height but maybe isn’t um it’s a bit odd because obviously the door is slightly worn off um but that’s sort of what i wanted but is that right one two three four five six seven eight nine ah i see what i’ve done ah okay yeah so here

All of that should actually be one block over that is what’s gone wrong there can you see like that log is behind there ahaha that’s why it doesn’t look right that is fine um so i’m gonna i’m gonna continue uh we might only get route to doing the facade

Today and people that have been watching my building streams know that i tend to i tend to do like the front of a house and then worry about the rest but i do want to get around to doing the chimney as well so i’m i’ll i will persevere we’ll

Persevere it is about 10 hours later and i’ve only just got about that far i’ve added all of those on the back uh i’ve made nice little windows i i really like those those took me a while even i was messing about with the um the chisel designs but it just didn’t

Really want to do it um like how i wanted it to um this is a little bit weird here i might have to actually sort that out one thing i forgot to show you guys is the scaffolding so put a mod in here called not enough scaffold and

This is an excellent thing for for building and basically it is access scaffolding so you can do stuff like that then you can climb up it get to where you need to be building and then if you knock down the bottom lock boom that is done and then it also works

Um if we do it that way can we oh i’ve done this before maybe it doesn’t okay so it can do that way but um i’m sure at some point i i got it to go sideways but maybe not but there you go that is an excellent thing so i’m i’m

Sort of working i’m trying to try to get this bit right and i don’t like that line i do like the spruce however just being there like that i think that looks quite good and i think what we’ll end up doing is something along the lines that this can i

Can i place a block there like that and it happens here just to bring that back in as well i think that would be good so that’s vaguely what i am working towards doing something along that line yeah like i say that looks a little bit weird like that and obviously

We could put more windows up there but i really don’t want to have to do all that again even though we might have to do it for the side and the back at some point but like i said i think we’re going to end up trying to just do

Just do the front of this house because oh my i’m getting carried away with chisels and bits another 10 hours have passed and um i’m starting to get somewhere i quite like this design i’m not wholly sold on it yet i really like the window in the

Middle um especially with we used the architecture um saw bench to make it rounded which i like i was going to do like a proper circle but then i sort of did that and i like it i like it it’s it’s a bit different it’s uh it’s we

Wouldn’t normally do that now i know that this is very flat uh right now and i i don’t like that part so we will be trying to mess around with that at some point but what i wanted to do is get some of that up so that i can start

Doing a bit of a roof pattern and i have no idea currently what i’m going to be using for the roof i think maybe the cobblestone um because i can easily get a lot of that right now and this episode is ticking me i don’t know i might not even

Get this out on the day that i would like to because the building of this has slowed me down i mean i’ve i’ve been enjoying it because it you know it but chisels and bits is like a time sink so we’ll see but i think what and what i’d

Like is that and a really nice like roof shape um so that is what i’m going to be attempting to do right now that’s the next part is trying to get a roof um shape i’ll put put up there it is starting to come along look at this

So the roof has taken me quite a long time to figure out and i’m still not exactly sure and i started off with just blocks and then i’ve been adding things so the architecture craft saw bench works with chiseled blocks as well so which is pretty amazing so like

Was it four of those no three three makes four oh sometimes it gets a little bit finickity there we go there we go um but yeah that that is nice and you can also make the corner ones which is especially nice and then just use the hammer if you need to

Change the uh the rotation of it but um this is looking cool like i’m very happy with how this is looking now and i’ve also moved the marble one block back just to give that a little bit more depth and that has really helped along with a band of spruce across there

We’ll probably do the same there i’ve started doing a spruce log thing there and i just think it’s looking pretty nice now this is very this is a completely aesthetic build because if we come if we come in here you can see just how little it is now obviously i could i

Could you know move all of that back but i sort of don’t want to um the point was that i actually wanted this to be fairly small and it’s going to be it’s going to be small uh it’s just very very tall uh which i was not really

I was not really meaning it for this to be as big a build as it is but it is our first build so i figure you know we need to we need to get started with a bang i don’t know what we’re gonna do there i’m also wondering whether the

Actual roof should be the same um cobble block i sort of would like it to be a different a different block but i don’t know what yet i don’t know watch it um i sort of think that we might not completely finish this build in this episode and we

Might get the shell of it done oh have we got like an eclipse thing going on yeah we have look at that um that’s why it’s all a bit darker i was wondering what was happening but i would like to get most of the exterior at least complete to a

Point where i i sort of know what i’m doing it’s really weird that it’s getting darker so i i’m going to continue working that is that is my uh that is the plan continue working look at that it is looking i think pretty nifty now if i may say so myself um

Yeah it’s it’s it’s coming along it is coming along we might have to end it there so since the last uh little clip what i did is i took a chisel to the inside of this little uh purpley bit here and i think that made a huge difference um didn’t

Really take a long time to do but it just provided so much more depth and then obviously i’ve just done a straight spruce roof we might at some point go back to um to make that a little bit nicer um i’ve got some small spruce logs there

Along with some spruce stairs as you can see here and i’ve got to say the multi-hop bar is so nice for building like this like it really is makes such a huge difference and you can see i put another band of spruce there and just finished off with all of i can’t even

Remember what this is called the purpley blocks and i know i started off very detailed here and you know it’s less so but i think just that little bit of chisel really helps there as well and yeah i’m i’m pleased with it if you come to the side you can see that is

Very straight like i say i think it would be nice to you know change that at some point but i think we might have to leave it there for now because well i mean all of this is still left to do so that’s going to be a bit of an issue but um

We can tackle that either next episode or this could be a bit of an ongoing project throughout the series i’m i’m fine for that there’s a lot of things that i want to add to this build because there’s a lot of cool little extra bit like candles there’s loads of candles

Which i think is just going to be awesome which is going to i think it’s going to be an awesome thing so i hope you’ll agree that that is a nice start to our building magic series and next episode we will be doing some more magic though i think you know we’ve done

We’ve done the monk stuff we’ve done some building stuff so i think it’s only fair that we do some magic stuff as well can i can i get rid of that little bit of oh okay fine um so thank you so much for watching hopefully you have enjoyed it
