Howdy and welcome back I built this tower out of sandstone I know this area is jungle and it actually doesn’t have a whole lot of sand I had to go like way over there to find some but it stands out the way that I need it to and I

Think I’ll be able to see it from from farther away so let’s see what time is it looks like the sun is coming up which is perfect um so we’re still kind of in the Stone Age we haven’t gotten iron yet so I think the goal of today is going to

Be getting iron it seems like a fair goal Why is the sensitivity so much like it’s more sensitive in the inventory than it is in the game I mean the inventory is the game but you know what I mean man it’s really sensitive here I’m going to make another pick and then

Yeah we’re probably good I should get some food while I’m out I don’t know if I did it in the last video it’s been a few days since I’ve since I’ve played but I made a bed so we have a spawn point I don’t have to worry about dying

And Hing up somewhere else so I’m taking us back to the place where I got all the sand oh there’s a bird here right I saw one of these guys on my way back and I’ve seen people tame them and put them on their shoulders but I don’t I don’t

And that’s where I got the Sandstone to build the Tower but I haven’t found any iron and I’m kind of starting to wonder if it’s right in front of me and I just don’t know what the block looks like so I think maybe what we can do is kind of

Map the island like I we could actually do it with a a regular map I think that it’s just sugar cane and like which makes paper and it winds up just being paper and a compass I want to say and that shouldn’t be too hard to get but

The compass needs iron so we still need iron so it looks like this side just kind of goes on and there was a cliff over here but I’ve gone past it and I’m sure there’s got to be Iron somewhere let’s go looking oh look look it’s dinner three five two for

Maybe I’m making my way back to the crafting bench but on the way I noticed this little area and let’s see if we can see some iron or something like there’s coal there’s copper can’t do anything with copper and all of these blocks look the same to me and they seem to be

Cobblestone oh what do we have here got something sticking out of the wall can I can I break that in the water maybe what was it Cobblestone it was just a wall decoration I thought I found something it’s just like this pool there probably drowns in there I’m not going to say no

To Copper uh not copper coal and maybe it’ll lead to iron there’s usually iron around lava I’ve explored that whole cave and I didn’t see any Iron Man I’m just not seen it like that looks a little bit different right there but I’m pretty sure this is Cobblestone yeah they’re both Cobblestone

Okay helpful little dude but still no no iron we could always go deeper I got to make a make a furnace so that I just going to head home since the sun’s going down and none of this looks familiar so I was really really far out wow I guess

Up here all right finally found one this took a while there’s nothing good near where I built I guess I should have surveyed a bit a bit better cuz there’s like there’s nothing over there it’s just like the mouth of that that River and that is it and this is where it

Loss for coal there’s coal all over the place but no iron not an ounce of it I’m like I’m looking at the blocks and I’m thinking what could be iron that could be maybe any nope Cobble and that’s all that’s all coal right watch it be Iron it’s coal yeah so I

Went ahead and turned the texture pack off just just in case I’m am just blind and I’m missing it somehow but I I don’t how far do you usually have to dig for coal is that is that something that’s changed I remember being able to find it like on on the Overworld not

Really having to dig at all well I’ve been at it a while and I’m I’m still digging down looking for iron I built a little staging base up the way with a crafting table I’ve had to go through some picks already but I’m just I can’t believe it I’m not finding anything now

I did read some people say that the jungle biome doesn’t doesn’t yield good like iron drops or anything like that so I mean I I guess it maybe it’s that but I do not know what I do know is I might have to go back up and move the staging

Base down because I’m also not finding any Caverns or anything this this area may be a bust so I discovered a new type of block and I haven’t what is it can I break it what is this this is Cobble deep slate I that’s that’s a new block like

This must be a new area I’ve never been down here before dang this world really has like this area has nothing I haven’t seen anything besides coal oh my gosh what is that is that lapis is that actually lapis wow W okay so the first thing that I find oh that’s

The day actually I think I might just call it here this is this is actually a pet peeve of mine that I’ve had with Minecraft that it’s the resource management and craft like it’s Minecraft crafting is part of the game but resource management is such a buzz kill

And I mean I spent like this whole episode looking for iron which is like a tier one resource and I couldn’t find any and I mean I guess I built in a bad spot and just looked out but like dang during my little diet tribe I noticed these mountains in the distance and

Somebody somebody on Reddit I think when I was reading said go to the like the hills or the like a high elevation area and you’ll find iron so I’m I’m kind of curious if I’ll find iron here well I ended up dying looking for for it and I

Didn’t find any so I don’t know maybe this maybe this seed is just bad and there’s no iron I kind of want to come back with like spectator mode and look for it but I don’t know if you can cuz when I created it I didn’t have cheats

Enabled me I’m just going to end it here so I I don’t know I might come back to Minecraft this this is one of the things that kind of kept me from playing Minecraft to begin with and it’s kind of funny that as soon as I get back into it

Days in the game but yeah that’s that’s wild they iron a basic resource should not be so difficult to find that’s silly I’m just doing more look around seeing if I can find any iron I’m under the ground I’m pretty far down I’m not familiar with this area like this biome or anything

Like is there supposed to be Iron down here I’m not sure I see lots of copper but is that iron I think so maybe there’s some iron and I mean I’m not a big Minecraft player and I’ve I never was so I I don’t really have a big stake

In this race but I was kind of looking forward to getting back into it but I can tell already that this this like resource finding mini game it’s just not fun it takes too long and you need so much iron to go anywhere there like three pieces of iron right here so you’d

Have to look all over the it’s just winds up not being fun for me so I I think I might pass Minecraft and find another game to to binge on but yeah that’ll wrap it up for this short little Encore episode we managed to find iron
