Empires SMP: Epic Wizard Tower | Episode 11

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode from the empire’s smp as you can see and i get offline for one week and one week only the place goes a bit mad evidently i need a better groundskeeper all as well though i’ll set a cleaning spell on this

Place and hopefully this will all be cleaned up soon for now let’s focus on getting things organized around here i want to start working on my wizard tower it’s very important because the server is starting to go a little bit crazy as evident by all the red sheep around here

I have this very important book and i feel like i’d just be a lot more powerful if my wizard tire was set up correctly so we gotta collect some materials gem hello catherine i need your help oh you do what you need my help my flowers were corrupted and

I’m trying to save them i can relate yeah yeah okay uh what can i do yeah i see that well i wasn’t i was instructed by this spring to gather magical items from across different empires and i was wondering if you had anything that you think might help oh

Thank you the cleanings bell seems to have worked wonders on my tower it’s back to its original beautiful form and we need to get back to work if i’m to become a powerful enough wizard to compete with all of the empires then i need to work on my tower particularly

This section which still looks very much like a stick i also need the actual wizard part of the wizard tower which is meant to go here so everyone i’ve got a few things all piled up here for me to work with and i will catch you in a time lapse I’m so proud of this build i’ve been building literally all day and to be honest i don’t have that much to show for it other than the fact that i managed to plan out and complete this rough shaping of this entire thing but obviously right now although this does look very wizard towery-ish

It’s very top-heavy and very plain in this middle section so that’s the area that i’m going to work on next the moon i absolutely love how we could just glide through it i think it fits the theme of the base so incredibly well and i’m excited to see it once it’s all

Finished oh my gosh okay so for the next section of this build i actually need a lot of i need a lot actually um first of all i need some of that and then i need a bunch of those i need some diorite oh calcite wouldn’t

Be no no no let’s do bone block and diorite so in order to fix my problem with this tower i think i’m going to make it look like there’s sections here that are connecting together but they aren’t actually connected like it looks like there’s some sort of ruined sort of

Tower piece right here i don’t know i was just trying to come up with something that like kind of fit the theme and balanced out this really circular area with all of the more square areas i have below whoops there we go and i think this will work

So up at the top here where that one comes down this is gonna come in and we’ll just do a few walls on it why didn’t bring enough walls but then it’s like connected together a little bit but like not yeah it definitely balances it better i think it’s better somehow

Okay the other problem that i’m having with this build first of all that’s so high up oh gosh okay let’s just get tried it okay yeah yeah it’s very uneven so we’re shifted towards this side so i think doing another little tower over on this side

Would really help that okay so here’s my thought right we can just have another little tiny bridge right here off of this tower and this won’t really be functional more just decorational to balance the whole look of the thing and it’ll be pretty small as well

My haste beacon is kind of a menace on the side i think this about does the trick maybe hopefully so it doesn’t obey gravity in the slightest obviously but i think it still kind of looks good like see see how it just balances it a little bit i think it helps

I’m gonna tell myself that it helps because it was kind of hard to position it there it helps okay it helps now honestly with that out of the way there’s not that much left for me to do i’m gonna place a few windows around the spot and then i

Think we can get working on some of the interior and the actual storyline elements of the spot i’m excited excuse me excuse me yeah you you are not welcome here thank you oh boy working out this interior is so tricky there’s so many little nooks in around this area and it’s angled

Weirdly like what’s in here is this important i don’t know i don’t know what i’m doing but i found this little tower over here which is great i say i found it i built it um but i put a staircase in it and i think that

That kind of works because you fly in over here and there’s a staircase in the back and we have all these room for activities all around here so i think i can decorate this area as like a general quarters and area like for some spells things like that things wizards would

Have i i’ll google some things wizards would have i mean i’m the best wizard i know what wizards have i know i got it um and then i have to figure out a way to get up now the alternative is i could have no staircase up or i could continue

This staircase up or we could you know if i have no staircase i could fly up because right if we come outside over here we loop around right here this is our next layer and i was thinking somewhere in this upper tower is where i would have my bedroom

Maybe even right here let me let’s poke a hole in this so that i can see where i’m at yeah okay i’m gonna poke poke a few holes that’ll help i think that’s helpful okay i’m just i’m gonna wing it and just continue the staircase i like a

Spiral staircase i know in both of my series right now i’m doing spiral staircases but like once you do a spiral staircase once like you just you got to keep going it’s kind of addictive this is yeah this is the problem with not planning the interior you come with all these areas that

I’ve thought of an idea okay i’m pulling from another book i’ve read a book when i was like 14 i swear and i i vividly remember this character i think it was named marzia or something like that but it was this extraordinary wizard she was called and

She had a purple couch and she wore purple robes and she had all these self-cleaning like dishes and things i remember her space being described very vividly in this book i forgot what it was called something about the seventh son of the seventh son and there was a

Character named jenna and it was a really good book but i read that when i was like a kid i don’t know why i’m remembering it but it’s inspiring my interior a little bit with all these purples that i’m going to pull through meanwhile at the top of the

Tower like i promised jimmy i have placed my book right here and look how powerful my book has gotten the powers of the crystals and the moon this is now my book everyone but you look at how cool this looks doesn’t it just look epic this is now

Where i collect all of my information for everything going on in this empire and elsewhere no matter what it is and what is happening so no matter what is happening around this server i will now know about it and store that information at the tippity top of my tower the most

Welcome to the stronghold this is what we’ve done so far so obviously the walls are currently up as you’ve seen some traps are in pearls is in sausages is in flips is in mine is right here this none of this was placed by me this is

The old library that was part of the stronghold i’ve decided to theme this area around my character the wizard who has been collecting a lot of information so i am going to build a quiz in order to progress through my room the characters are going to have to know the

Answer to several questions when they answer them they’ll be able to open the doors and progress through it should be pretty simple to set up it’s just a bunch of redstone um i’ve brought some stuff as you can see for me to build with and theme it make it all pretty and

Hopefully i’ll be able to get to work and get something successful here main thing i can tell already is that i really love the look of this like i want there to still be pillars i’m gonna do these pillars out of actual oak log but

I love the look of this down here this spawns naturally we just took the bookcases out of it look how cool that would look so that’s kind of the end goal is to get over there and they’re gonna fall down into this area they can’t get back up there until they

Answer the questions i’m always really curious about how redstone worked and today i’m looking at these comparators i’ve never really had a chance to look at them much but actually if you put an item frame right here and rotate an item it goes a different length each time see

How right now it’s doing three and if i go another one now it’ll do four so i can use this to allow people to select the correct answer in order to progress in the puzzle and i think i’d like to actually have three of these

Okay i’m feeling like a little bit of a genius right now i’m not gonna lie i watched a seven-year-old seth bling tutorial and i’m powerful this when it’s rotated like this any other rotation that door is closed and it’s like oh i skipped pass it when it’s like that it’s open

Now it’s open okay so that that’s gonna be that’s gonna be the whole key basically i’m gonna have two of these doors i’m gonna make it work in this room yeah i mean that seems good this is my puzzle room so as you can see sausage is also

Working in this area he’s doing that room over there flip’s doing that one pearl’s doing one that’s right there and joey’s doing one that’s right there we’re all working together to create this trap if you want to see their traps you’ll have to go watch their videos

Mine is really simple it’s just a combination lock with two of these sort of quizzes it shouldn’t be too hard but trust me both of these rooms are very hard so i thought i would softly give them one i think it’s themed to my area fairly well it still looks kind of like
